Krystal was absolutely wonderful! No need to bore you with the details but her and her family went well out of their way to accommodate me during my visit. The Big Red Barn was clean and quiet. Perfect little get away while your traveling. If I ever find myself back in Canada near Whitehorse, Yukon I will make this a must stay! Thanks from Texas!

Great hosts, very quiet, natural location, excellent bed, bbq, super clean bathroom, overall a great place to stay.

No inside chair to sit and read, noisy if occupied next door since there's only a thin door between apartments, and the Google nest ceiling sensor has to go - lights up the bedroom every time you stir during the night.

Eine freundliche Begrüßung, schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung, Blick auf die Pferdekoppeln. Wir konnten unser Gepäck bereits vorzeitig bei der Unterkunft deponieren.

This place is a true hidden gem! Exceptionally clean, beautiful scenery and peaceful! The host is so kind and makes sure you have everything you need upon arrival. This is a must stay in the Whitehorse area!

Room actually not located in the barn which we never saw. Room located in the owners house this no expected charm at all.

Es gab Kinderspielzeug, einen Hochstuhl und die Einheit ist sehr geräumig. Im Garten gab es eine Schaukel und ein paar Outdoorkinderspielsachen. Die Vermeiterin war wirklich sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Hat Kaffee gebracht und unseren Wunsch nach einem frühen Check in sofort erfüllt.

Es hanelt sich scheinbar um eine einfache umgebaute alte Büroeinheit. Das Umfeld wirkte eher sehr verwahrlost. Die Küche war im Bereich des Kochefeldes fettig und überall in der Einheit war eine Staubschicht. Kein Reiterhof. Dort empfiehlt sich Yukon Horsepacking Adventures, Mandy Johnson. Ca. 25 min Richtung Norden.

Crystal was very accommodating we met her horse and everything was very good. Would no doubt I would return. Plus she has a storage store.

Krystal is a fantastic host, super friendly and always looking to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The Big Red Barn is an excellent if you're travelling with children, and want to spend a night or more during your Yukon Road trip near Whitehorse. The animals on the farm are neat, and the apartment (we had the one on the second floor) is spacious and clean with comfy beds.

The quiet, the space, the complete kitchen, the free inversion table! The ease of the door lock system. The total lack of bugs on the rural property, with the livestock present!

My 69 year old self could have used a grab bar by the toilet - I had a strange muscle pull in the side of my back the last couple of days, and I traced it to my difficulties to the lack of something to hold on to by the toilet.

This is our favorite place to stay near Whitehorse. It’s quiet, exceptionally clean, the perfect place on our long journeys twice a year. We love it and can’t recommend it enough! The owner is very communicative and so incredibly kind!

When arriving we couldn’t have had a better greeting than by 2 of the friendliest dogs and the nicest, sweetest hostess you’d ever encounter. The location was great, the room was very spacious and clean.

Didn’t like the fact that we came at a bad time of the year when the snow was just melting, and it was quite muddy. Would love to have walked around the property met the horses and interacted with Ernie the donkey.

The apartment was quite spacey, with lots of room for our kiddo to play. Very warm blanket in the bedroom. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed for a few days. The host is super open and welcoming. Biggest plus was the view - everything dark around, so we could watch the northern lights from the house while our kid stayed in bed. No need to drive somewhere in the night.

It wasn't cleaned well, especially the floor.

Great location just north of Whitehorse. Krystal was amazing. Easy to communicate with and extremely friendly. Enough room for the 4 of us. Facilities were great.

It was such a beautiful area, the animals were a great touch, and the room itself was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids! Kitchen appliances were excellent condition and were perfect for homemade breakfast on vacation! Definitely will be coming back!

I wish it was a little more obvious that we were in the right place. When turning in we thought we came to the wrong place!

Everything about the property and amenities was perfect. But what truly made this my best sort term rental experience was the amazing hosts. They are the type of family that gives you hope for the future of humanity. I rolled into their property with the last bit of oil remaining in my engine leaking out. They allowed me to park my car in their garage and use their tools to get my car back on the road. Including driving me into town to procure replacement parts, all with smiling faces and never made me feel like a burden. The host’s hospitality was far beyond anything I would have ever imagined and will definitely stay with them for all future Whitehorse visits. Finally, the property have beautiful horses, what is not to love.

The location is beautiful. We were there in winter and found the landscape stunning. Krystal was very welcoming and helpful. We visited the Hot Springs and North Bean café which were both great. We would love to return and sample a different time of year.

How quiet it was and out of town to see the darkness for the northern lights.

1. Krystal is a great host! Her and her husband Greg helped us with our rental car tire issue, so we could drive the car at ease. Especially the day of departure, one tire was deflated a bit, Krystal was able to pump some air in!!! Thank you! 2. The property is nice with horses and donkey. We even saw northern light two nights in a row🥰 3. We had one bed room flat on the ground floor. Very comfortable for 3 ppl. We cooked dinner without any problems. There is a nice coffee machine ( with real coffee beans!) 4. You get 20% off code from Krystal to the hot springs but if on Tue/Wed it’s already discounted for $55( other days is $70) Overall highly recommend!!! You can even rent a car from Krystal just ask her. They have a souvenir store in town for good selection if you want.

The owner was very kind, welcoming, and had a great affinity for Japan. The room was spacious enough, and I was able to relax comfortably. I also fulfilled my long-awaited Aurora challenge, succeeding on two out of three nights, which made for a truly wonderful memory. オーナーが、親日的でとても優しい良い方でした。部屋の広さも充分で、ゆったりと過ごせました。 念願のオーロラチャレンジも、3日中2日間成功し、とても良い思い出になりました。

The items were properly stored, but perhaps just by chance, the towels had a damp smell. It might just be me being a bit sensitive, but I would appreciate it if this could be improved. キチンと収納されていましたが、たまたまだと思いますが、タオルが生乾き臭がしました。私が神経質だけかも知れませんが、改善をお願いします。

We stayed this accommodation for seeing northern light. I'd say here is perfect to see it. The view to the north is clear and not covered trees. The living room has two windows, so we could check if northern light appeared before going outside. Although we could not see northern light at all from another lodge last year, we could see it all nights (4 of 4 nights) this time.

EVERYTHING!! Krystal makes you feel right at home. She has a beautiful set up. Extremely comfortable, clean, let's you do you. Great location. About 20 mins to Whitehorse. Perfect location to travel the province. The air b n b is on the north side so you have the north sky. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick so we weren't able to see the Northern Lights, but that has nothing to do with the facility. I recommend this place 10/10. So glad that we stayed here. Definitely will be back!!!

The host was incredibly generous and gracious in being so accommodating and flexible after we realized we had made a huge error on our end with the booking date (by a year!). Once we got there, she met us in person to give us a tour and was very friendly. The suite was spacious and clean and everything we needed to recharge.
