- only one bathroom shared between the 4 adults. Not our preference. - bedrooms located in the basement part of the suite. Windows good sized but not necessarily my preference as I can get claustrophobic in such space. - check-in was a bit unconventional and my non-english speaking parents would have been totally lost (requires calling)

Received a nice free upgrade to their new property which is lovely. Great beds, beautiful kitchen facility, quiet location, all good.

I appreciated having access to a full kitchen as well as laundry facilities. The ease to walk to a grocery store was perfect! The room was clean and very comfortable.

That there was only one room key, and although it may sound petty, the fitted sheet kept coming off the mattress and cotton sheets would be way more comfortable.

Quiet, secure, felt safe and comfortable. Friendly hosts available quickly via phone if they weren't onsite. Nice self-serve kitchen and sitting area. Within a decent walking distance of the river and shops.

I was okay to climb the stairs with luggage, but just be aware that there are no elevators if you need one.

Midnight Sun Inn went above and beyond to accommodate our party by offering us a 3 room apartment instead of two separate rooms so everyone in our party would have a private room.

Clean, well maintained place. The kitchen was fully stocked as well, plenty of pots, pans, and utensils that I was able to food prep with for the next few days of my trip. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating when I needed to extend my stay a night as well!

I liked that it was near restaurants.

We got moved to a different location, the new location had coin operated laundry, it was definitely not worth the money we paid. The tub spout looked like it was going to detach and the shower wouldn't turn off. I'm a plumber and I'm assuming the owner installed the plumbing fixtures to save money. Beds were clean but very hard. Either save money and camp or spend the extra $100 for a better experience. Would not recommend to a friend.

The first night, I was woken up at 3 in the morning from the first truck because, though it was a gas spill but they're fermenting something in the garage! And they never gave my damage deposit back. I didnt damage anything

I had booked a queen room with bathroom attached. I was put into a shared house with 2 non-private bathrooms. The bedroom doors did not lock. Would not recommend especially travelling solo and there is very little privacy and security.

It was clean. The kitchen area was nice and big which would be good if staying for a few days, just not overnight. We had our own bathroom.

It wasn’t where we thought it would be. Very misleading . We basically were sharing a place with another couple who had a room right next door to us. The TV was on the wall so couldn’t have it on after 9 pm . The furniture had seen better days. The bedroom itself was very small and no bedside table on my side to put my glasses or ipad down . Also could only connect 3 out of 4 of our devices to their wifi ( unknowingly) .

Communication was difficult, he only responded to telephone calls, not messages through booking.com. He moved us to a different house, which was fine, and might actually be better than the original it's just a little unnerving being moved somewhere else.

Room was clean, and parking was easy. We stayed at a new building about four blocks away from the published address. The concept however was somewhat unusual. You stay in a room, that’s in a communal residential house. You have access to communal lounge and kitchen. This gave us a little more space than just the room, and it was great to say hello to other guests. But no doubt if one guest leaves a mess in the kitchen, we could be all liable for the added cleaning fee. That’s not a hassle worth gambling with.

The room itself was small. We were expecting a queen sized bed, and instead got a double bed. We were struggling to manage the space. The washbasin plug hole didn’t drain, unless you picked up the plug by dipping your hands in the wash water and held the plug up for the duration it took to drain the washwater. Very concerning: There was a cleaning fee if bathroom drying towels were stained. It does somewhat imply that they don’t clean the towels after the last guest has vacated the property. The inference that I’m using a towel to dry myself that hasn’t been cleaned since the last guest is somewhat disgusting. Overall though, this place advertises itself as an inn. It isn’t an Inn! A hotel: Many rooms and a bar An Inn: A bar, with a few overnight rooms. This is closer to an Airbnb concept. Probably better for long term stays. If you want easy accommodation with cleaning, elevators for your heavy luggage, served breakfast and dinner options nearby, goto a hotel.

The property seemed to be more like a hostel set up than I thought. I just wasn't expecting that.

This was like an apartment, but the kitchen and sitting area was shared. The bedroom and bathroom were separate and private and we got a key to lock that part. It was clean and fine for one night. The location was further from downtown than we expected, which wouldn't be a problem if you have a car. You have to take your shoes off before walking around inside, and I was glad I had slippers.

The room was a little bit small, and right next to the other room. Fortunately, the person in the other room was quiet. We were whispering in the morning to avoid disturbing the neighbor. The room is in a neighborhood, rather than being downtown, so it was about a 15 minute walk to most restaurants.

Great proximity to goods and services.

No fridge in the room but there is a full size fridge in the upstairs common area which does the job.

We booked based on photos and reviews of the "inn" on Booking.Com but upon check-in, were told we were being "upgraded" to another property about 5 blocks away in what seemed to be an area that was more transient. It turned out that this was a 4 unit apartment with shared kitchen and living areas. Other people's food was on the counter and in the fridge. As two women traveling together, this had a different feel than our expected stay in an "inn" with hosts on property. I immediately contacted the staff by text asking about the situation and they never responded. We could lock our room and knew our reservation was non refundable so decided to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We were awakened after the posted quiet hours of 9pm-8AM by 2 people who proceeded to cook and eat a meal and then (what sounded like) taping up cardboard boxes. This went on until about 10pm. I texted the owner again and also messaged Booking.com. While the owner *never* responded to me, he claimed to Booking.com customer service that he had driven over and by that time it was quiet again. Booking.com deferred to the owner and customer service was unhelpful (and nothing more than an AI parroting back of the concerns listed in my message to them. *So buyer beware*: know that you might end up in a different location than what you have booked and sharing a space with renters as well as overnight guests without a host on the property. Ask questions before you book or look elsewhere if you prefer to know exactly what you are getting. If the owner had been upfront about the situation or offered us the option of something different than what we booked, it would have been a different experience. Instead, this felt like a bait and switch after we had paid our non-refundable reservation.

There was a constant mechanical noise coming from the attached garage, although it did not keep me awake.

It didnt have a reception so I had to call x 3 to get someone to come and check me in so I was standing out in the weather for about 20mins. The family that own it live on the first floor and guests are on the second floor. Its not what I expected but once I got checked in I enjoyed my stay very much

This is more of a vacation rental than an “inn”. I stayed here twice in late September, both times got sent to a separate property several blocks away from the one pictured. It’s effectively 4-5 bedroom/bathroom units, sharing a common kitchen/dining area. Nothing wrong with that, but not what I expected. Maintenance was quite good, but the check in procedure was awkward—go to the posted address, and the owner hands you your receipt with the address of the place you’ll actually be staying hand written on the back, along with the pass code for the entry door. The first time, the owner forgot to write down which room to go to, and I wound up walking in on a couple that had already checked in.

not clean pilly sheets dishes in cabinet were dirty. Weird floor plan we would have been sharing a bathroom if other rooms were occupied the whole place was bad and seemed to be in a bad part of town. There was a homeless person curled up in the street as we left in the AM in the Dark!!! Very creepy.

Hatten 2 Deluxe DZ gebucht und satt dessen eine Fewo mit 3 Schlafzimmern erhalten, na ja, ganz ok bis auf die dann nötige Kautionszahlung. Kein Essen verfügbar. Aussanlagen müssten dringend erneuert werden, keine 4 Sterne jedenfalls. Langwieriger check in Prozess, obwohl vorab bezahlt.

No where in the booking does it say you have to share a room with a stranger, yet, when I arrived I was told someone was in the other bedroom???? If I wanted to stay in a Hostel type facilities, I would have found a hostel. I was stunned to find that I was expected to endure that. I do NOT recommend this place, unless there are 2 of you that wish separate rooms. For a single old lady, stay away!!!

Basically a several bedroom house turned hotel. Full kitchen, laundry, nice bedroom, modern bath, comfortable bed and everything very clean.

In Zimmer 5 war das Bett in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Von daher gibt es einen Abzug. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer angemessen und sauber.

Zeer onvriendelijke ontvangst door manager. Zei nauwelijks gedag en begon direct allerlei bevelen uit te delen en werd zeer geïrriteerd op het moment dat ik geen idee had waar het over ging. Hij wilde me zelfs wegsturen.

Booking in was easy then we had to drive about 5 to 10 mins away to an amazing set of units. Ours was ib the middle one, on the ground floor which was great. Everything was as described plus more! The shared kitchen/table/living room was like it was ours. Our room was behind the kitchen, the latter was super. The laundry was also super- 2 x $1 coins for a wash and dry - detergent supplied free. The sound proofing was very much appreciated. We drove to 4th Avenue to have tea the first night, walked thru Whitehorse the next day. All good. Thanks

It was nice to get an upgrade to a suite, with a kitchen and laundry, as we were two couples traveling together. The check in was easy, but odd because we had to remove our shoes as the lobby was actually the owners dining room. We were there for three days and there was no cleaning or towel change.

Looked like a converted student housing building directly next to the airport complete with a 5am wake-up call. On a good note, the bed was comfortable.

Interesting we were given the 3 bed 2 bath townhouse it was clean inside but looked like they were in the process of updating bed was very comfortable and the shower was upgraded but the appliances weren’t anything special and seating was very limited it could be a very nice place

We stayed in the little house down the street, which was very clean and had everything we needed. It was close to a supermarket. It was a very comfortable stay and we had a fox visitor as well.
