Mould in grout in shower, hair on floor in bathroom , dirty skirting boards, kitchen sink full of dirty water and food debris, walls thin could hear snoring all night, host too attentive to point of being annoying, signage to venue poor but then proberbly would have been best if we missed it! . Bed felt like someone had been sleeping in just before we got there . The whole experience was shocking

I was quite disappointed with my stay. I paid for a bed and breakfast,however in the morning there was no milk for the 2 options of cereals . For the price I paid I would expect a higher standard of breakfast. My bedroom also uncomfortably close to the kitchen. Interior could be upgraded. Definitely over priced by €80!

The breakfast was good. There was a variety of food items to choose from. I wished there was a kettle in the room to make tea in the evening. The location was a convenient 20 minute walk into Galway City. It was a straight shot and having the eir code made getting lost a little more enjoyable.

I wish there was better signage on the outside. It did not say Eamonn's Cosy B & B on the outside and the number of the building was small. I passed it up the first time and had to park and go look for it. When you're driving by yourself and looking for street names or building names it can be difficult.

The floors did not look cleaned which made me look at the bed linnen and it was not fresh you could still see the shape of the previous client and fluff on it. The shower was not practical as the water didn't flow strong enough. The bed needs an upgrade my one at home look n sleep well better.. Don't advertise B&B if you do not facilitate it. We could have booked a self catering and have a hot and cold breakfast not stale discounted scones and croisans with 2 slices of cold meats and cheese slices. The tea pot that I was given was not fresh nor full. Please stop this kind of false advertising and abuse of the publics hard earned money. Thank you

We liked the short, walking distance into town, to explore Galway and pubs. Breakfast was provided, and local knowledge from host and other customers.

La struttura non aveva nulla di accettabile. Sporca, con gli asciugamani sporchi e macchiati, il bagno invivibile, per usare la doccia bisognava accendere il boiler nella stanza da letto. La sera al nostro rientro abbiamo trovato l’host che dormiva e russava nel soggiorno da cui siamo dovuti passare per andare in camera e dove si faceva colazione. Mancavano le condizioni minime di pulizia. Il letto era posticcio.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in agosto. La cosa che più mi ha colpito è stata la gentilezza e disponibilità del sig.Edward, una frase per tutte "My home is your home". Per motivi di orario non abbiamo fatto colazione nella struttura dovendo uscire presto, ma ci ha lasciato disponibili frutta yogurt etc e li abbiamo mangiati la sera. Ci ha dato anche diverse bottigliette di acqua per la giornata e in camera c'era una scatola di fazzolettini. Letto comodo. A 10 minuti a piedi dal centro città e dalla stazione.

Lavandino piccolo, ma forse è lo standard per le casette in zona.

Edward was super kind and helpful! Breakfast was great! He even washed our clothes. Location was amazing too. For the price we got exactly as expected considering the average prices in Galway.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schmutzig. Das WC war nicht geputzt. In der Dusche waren am Boden noch Haare. Die Möbel alt und desolat. Der Eingang sehr schmutzig und schmudelig. Wir haben uns überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Galway dort untergebracht. Der Gastgeber Edward ist schon sehr speziell. Er lebt (scheinbar) selbst mit in dem Haus und hat 2-3 Zimmer des Hauses als B&B im Angebot. Das was bei Booking.com für die Zimmer alles angeboten wird bzw.vorhanden sein sollte, muss ich deutlich revidieren: Gartenblick > NEIN, wir hatten einen "Blick" auf einen Beton-Parkplatz zu einer sehr, sehr stark befahren Haupteinfahrtsstraße (siehe Foto). Sofa > NEIN, Edward saß auf seinem Sofa im Wohnzimmer/Frühstückszimmer und schaute die ganze Zeit Fern, man durfte auch nur zum Frühstück in dieses Zimmer. Schreibtisch u. Sitzbereicht > NEIN, im Zimmer Fehlanzeige. Privater Eingang > NEIN, es gibt nur den Hauseingang. TV > NEIN, das einzige TV ist in Edwards Wohnzimmer bzw. im Frühstückszimmer. Als ich das TV ausprobieren wollte, wurde ich von Edward sehr pampig angefahren. Ich sollte den Raum nur zum Frühstück betreten. Mikrowelle > NEIN, ich wollte sie einmal für das Erwärmen von Kaffeewasser verwenden und wurde von Edward ziemlich rüde und blöd angemacht, dass das seine Mikrowelle wäre. Flachbild-TV > NEIN, s. o. Zusätzliches WC > NEIN, es ist Edwards Privat-WC mit großem Schild außen drauf (Nur für Raum 3). Einzelraum-Klimaanlage > NEIN, in unserem Zimmer Fehlanzeige. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach; Toast, Marmelade, eine Sorte Käse, eine Sorte Schinken, alte vergammelte Butter, ein paar Gebäckstücke und Cornflakes. Und die ganze Zeit schwänzelte Edward um einen herum, weil es ja sein Wohnzimmer war (siehe Foto vom Frühstückstisch; dort auch das TV zu sehen). Die Sauberkeit ließ auch sehr zu wünschen (siehe Foto vom Abfluß unserer Dusche). Das Badezimmer war winzig klein (siehe Foto). Der einzige Vorteil, und deshalb auch der eine Stern, war der Stellplatz für unseren Mietwagen. Alles im Allen eine bescheidene Bleibe mit einem sehr speziellen Gastgeber. KEINE Empfehlung für einen Aufenthalt in Galway.

On entend un peu le bruit de la route. Le petit déjeuner n' est pas de grande qualité même s'il y a du choix. La salle de bain est minuscule. Une seule table de nuit. Le prix est excessif pour la qualité des prestations.

Chez Edward's, le petit-déjeuner est très copieux et servi avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Edward sait très bien recevoir, en toute amitié. Le logement se trouve très près du centre-ville, au premier étage d'une maison mitoyenne. Ambiance bed & breakfast!

Il faudrait indiquer que la maison se trouve juste en face de l'arrêt de bus "Anthony's Terrace" car "O'Connolly's Terrace" ne figure pas sur Google Maps.

Stadt fußläufig zu erreichen.

Welcher Gartenblick? Unaufgeräumter Hinterhof aus Beton,von Garten keine Spur.Müll vor Haustür. Hatten mit Frühstück gebucht.Vermieter war nicht anwesend, da im Urlaub,welches wir erst beim Einchecken tel.erfuhren.Sollten uns dann laut tel.Absprache in der Gemeinschaftsküche den nächsten Morgen zum Frühstück selbst bedienen,aus Kühlschrank und sonstigen vorhandenen Lebensmitteln.Das war die "Krönung" des Aufenthaltes. Sämtliches vorhandenes Toastbrot (3 Packungen) war schon 1 Woche über Verfallsdatum und schon in Verpackung von Schimmel befallen.Aufgerissene und angefangene Verpackungen von Wurst und Käse vom Vorgänger,wo man nicht wußte wie lange sie liegen.Haben daraufhin Vermieter angerufen,hat sich entschuldigt.Am nächsten Morgen kam die Reinigungskraft und hat als erstes das "Beweisstück"Tostbrot mitgenommen. Der Vermieter wollte uns einen Teilbetrag wieder umgehend zurückerstatten.Darauf warten wir noch heute. Abschließend gesagt,wie kann ich eine Wohnung bei Booking zum Vermieten freigeben ,Früchstück anbieten und im Urlaub sein und dafür Geld einstreichen.

Zařízení bylo ve velmi špatném stavu, všude velká špína, neumyté nádobí, několik dní nemytá mastná pánvička schovaná v troubě, nevynesený koš již zapáchající, všude zašlé, špinavé koberce. Co se týkalo slibované snídaně, našli jsme v lednici již žluklé máslo, rozdělané neidentifikovatelné potraviny. První cesta vedla do supermarketu. Z těchto důvodu poměr cena kvalita zcela neodpovídající. Byli jsme opravdu velmi zklamáni.

Frukosten var rimlig. Bra läge med gångavstånd till centrum.

Wir waren 10 Tage in Irland in verschiedenen Unterkünften unterwegs und diese war eindeutig die schlechteste, die anderen B&B waren Luxus in Vergleich . Alles war schmuddelig, sehr wenig Platz, ein Mini Badezimmer wo man von draußen den Schalter drücken musste das das Wasser in der Dusche kommt. Das Frühstück mussten wir uns selber machen, obwohl ich es letzten Endes als Vorteil gesehen hatte, nachdem ich den Kühlschrank von Besitzer gesehen habe. Der Besitzer war in der Zeit in Urlaub . Wir haben eigentlich 2 Nächte gebucht aber die zweite Nacht haben wir in einen 4 Sterne Hotel verbracht was nur 30 Euro teurer war und dass mit riesigen Frühstücksbüffet. Der unterschied war wie zwischen Himmel und Hölle.

Tout est quelconque dans cette maison et mal entretenu. Le frigo est rempli de bouteilles ouvertes depuis on ne sait combien de temps et de même pour les aliments qui s’y trouvent. Rien n’est vraiment propre ni la vaisselle, ni la literie, ni les draps. Les multiples diffuseurs de parfum rendent l’atmosphère irrespirable. Il n’y avait personne pour nous recevoir, le propriétaire était au téléphone. Et tout ça pour 140€, c’est se ficher de la tête des gens et en plus la réservation n’est pas annulable !!! 👹👺

Der Frühstücksraum ist gleichzeitig die Küche des Anbieters und wohl auch sein Wohnzimmer, in dem er oft TV sah oder telefonierte, was man bei den hellhörigen Wänden laut hörte - mein Zimmer war direkt daneben. Das Frühstück am ersten Tag: altes Brot und Reste von abgepackter, alter Wurst - insgesamt sehr dürftig für diesen überteuerten Preis. Am nächsten Morgen hatte der Anbieter verschlafen, obwohl ich wegen einem gebuchten Ausflug auf seine Nachfrage am Vortag hin eine Uhrzeit für das Frühstücks nannte. Als er dann später gähnend in der Küche stand, ich ihn auf das nun schon verschimmelte Brot und meinen Zeitdruck wegen des Ausflugs hinwies (für Kaffee war es nun auch zu spät) und sagte, dass dies alles nicht okay sei, wurde er aggressiv und schrie mich an, dass ich gehen soll und schmiss mir das Geld für die letzte dort gebuchte Nacht hin. Voller Angst vor seinem Verhalten packte ich schnell meinen Koffer und wollte einfach nur noch weg von diesem unberechenbaren Menschen. Er setzte mich somit auf die Straße - im Regen. Ich musste somit zum Ausflugsbus rennen, damit ich wenigstens erst einmal einen Unterschlupf hatte. Ich war völlig fertig! Auch das Zimmer war - wie schon in vielen Bewertungen hier zu lesen - wirklich sehr schmutzig: der Teppich war dreckig, das Bad verschmutzt...es wurde wahrscheinlich schon recht lange nicht mehr sauber gemacht. Für warmes Wasser muss man 15 Minuten vorher, in einem Schrank versteckt, ein Gerät einschalten. Die Dusche ist sehr eng und unsauber. Zusammenfassend ist der Preis unverschämt für so eine dreckige Unterkunft. Aber das Schlimmste war das aggressive Verhalten des Anbieters - so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt!!!

Very good location 10 mins walk to the city centre. The host Eamonn was a very pleasant and friendly person. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice of cereal and breads etc. Handy parking spot also. The Room is a little small but we only slept in it as we were out all day. Thanks Peter.

Die Stadt war zu Fuß erreichbar, allerdings nicht in 10 Minuten wie angegeben.

Die in Booking.com hinterlegte Adresse stimmt nicht, nur aus den Fotos konnte die richtige Adresse entnommen werden. Edward hat bei unsere Ankunft noch seine Socken und den Mülleimer vom Bett geräumt. Das Zimmer war so staubig und von Duftstoffen angereichert, dass wir trotz guter Lüftung nach nur einer Nacht Allergieprobleme bekamen und den nächsten Urlaubstag abschreiben konnten. Wir haben uns nicht getraut die Dusche zu benutzen, da der Deckenputz über der Duschtasse abblätterte und uns gesagt wurde, dass man die Dusche kompliziert vorheizen müsste (sehr umständlich mit separatem Wassertank im Zimmer). Das Wasser am Waschbecken hatte kaum Wasserdruck. Das Frühstück bei dem der Fernseher lief und man sich nicht privat unterhalten konnte war nicht genießbar (incl des Tees). Wir haben uns anschließend lieber ein Frühstück in einem Deli zusammengestellt und gepicknickt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut nicht. Ein zentrales Vier Sterne Hotel in Galway hätte nur 20 Euro p.P. mehr gekostet, die hätten wir besser ausgegeben. FAZIT: Wer viel Geld für unsauberes Couchsurfing ausgeben will um dann mit Atemwegsproblemen den Urlaub zu genießen ist hier gut aufgehoben. Für uns heißt es: Nie wieder!

Friendly host was laid back and fun. The location was easily walkable to the central downtown area. Breakfast was nice the first morning.

The mattress was very uncomfortable and I could not sleep well. Breakfast was nonexistent the second morning.

Location is very convenient to the city centre. Owner is very accmmodating and helpful. The room en suite is very clean and smells good. Definitely would check in again to this cozy B&B.

The host was great. The room itself was very nice.

The B&B is a suite of 3 bedrooms with a shared lounge/kitchen. While it was nice to share breakfast with the other guests, the TV was in the shared room as well, and one evening (of the 4 we stayed there) another guest was watching TV. Having the activity right outside your bedroom door may not suit everyone.

Breakfast was fine and plentiful. The room was pleasant. It is a bit of a problem having to use another person's en-suite for a shower. These particular people were very obliging but that may not always be the case.

The framed wi fi code was not clearly written in my room. It was fine in the others. I had to ask the other family to help me work it out. I suggest you write it out more clearly for future users.
