5 bedroom house at the heart of Auckland Airport

Super clean! We booked this same day and the host was responsive and had the house prepared for us ASAP. There was 9 of us total and it was so spacious and plenty of room. Super close to the airport which is why we booked this home as we had an early flight in the AM.

The driveway is super slim and would be handy if we had a garage remote to park the car as there’s not much street parking available. But the driveway is out of the hosts control!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 5-bedroom house. The beds were so comfortable, the house was spacious, clean and very welcoming. Everything was just perfect for our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back❤️

Narrow shared driveway, so difficult to get into garage. Heatpump didnt heat well, so lucky there were other small portable heaters in bedrooms. TV controller flat, so lucky again we had Samsung charging cable that fit. Would've been nice to have complimentary paper towels, and some milk for tea/coffee. Need to take own dishwashing tabs.

The car parking is very disappointing especially when one has a big van and it cannot fit in the garage.

Close to the airport for our group of 9. Plenty of room and bathrooms. It just had the necessities needed to sleep. The hosts were so great to return a necklace that was left too.

The bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and hard. I liken it to the hard beds in Vietnam. The towels were also thin and hard. I feel they could have put more effort here to match the spec of the apartment.

The unit was clean & nice , well equipped. But can be better if a small table in the rooms & a few more hangers for our clothes are provided.

We had a very bad experience during our stay. Our unit was broken into, and cash, passports, personal identification cards, and credit cards were stolen. We consider ourselves fairly cautious travellers. Before going to bed, we checked all doors tat we opened during checking in. Unfortunately, when we checked again after the break-in, there was one glass sliding door beside the dining table which appeared like a fixed glass panel , was closed but unlocked. Based on the CCTV footage as provided, the burglar appeared at around 4:00 a.m, without inspecting the neighborhood or approaching any other houses , but with straight target on our unit. And the way the burglar behaved, as if he is familiar with this surrounding. All the above gave rise to several aspects of suspicious and lead us to wonder if this could have been a pre-planned & targetted break-in ?Anyway, We hope it is not. To be fair, the unit itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the stay was pleasant initially. Unfortunately, this incident completely overshadowed the good parts and caused significant stress and inconvenience for our group.

Nice and modern.

There was a lack of bath mats for the bathroom floors. No garbage bags, no extra toilet paper. Garbage was piled up under the clothes line, the back area needed to be mowed & cleaned up. Garbage bins were full and located on the curb waiting to be emptied the whole time we were there.

The location was close to the airport which is what we were looking for and the set up of the property was comfortable for our family of 8. Highly recommended - We would stay again!

What a beautiful house, wanted to stay longer but unfortunately we all had to head home. Will be booking again in the future!!

The constant sound of the cross-walk intersection right outside the accommodation. It went constantly. And no parking outside accommodation. When ur travelling away you have luggage to carry in and out. So that would have been optimal

Parking is pretty much non existent if you have more than 1 car and even with 1 car it is a tight squeeze as other inconsiderate Tennant's park where they shouldn't. Booking.com also organised for early check in but when we arrived, it had not even been cleaned. This led to cleaner being rushed and therefore pretty average clean. Linen was not appealing at all, sheets or towels. No bathmats, just old towels?? Kitchen cups/glasses pretty ordinary too. We would only use this place for a quick stop over as it is 5 minutes from airport. Oh, beds on top floor terrible and some of the pillows as heavy and hard as rocks!

주차할 곳이 없어 힘들었다는 후기를 보고 많이 걱정했는데 개인 차고가 있었어요. 우리 일행은 차가 2대였는데 1대는 건물 입구 공터에 댈 수 있었습니다. 공항에서 가까워서 마지막 밤을 보내기에 충분했어요. 실내 인테리어가 깔끔하고 예쁘다거나 하진 않지만 불편함은 없었습니다. 1층에 거실 겸 주방과 퀸베드 방1칸, 2층에 퀸베드 방 3칸과 싱글베드가 갖춰진 방 1칸이 있어서 여러 명 머물기 좋아요. 간이주방이라고 안내되어 있지만 가스레인지와 오븐 식기가 갖춰져 있어 불편함이 없었어요.

인테리어에 조금만 신경 써주신다면 훨씬 투숙객들의 만족도가 높을 것 같아요. 불편함은 없지만 예쁘다거나 쾌적하고 깨끗하다는 느낌은 들지 않거든요.

We picked this property since it was very close to the airport and we had an early flight the next day. For that purpose the location was very convenient.

When we arrived at the property the back sliding glass door was standing wide open. The shower also appeared to have just been used with a wet towel over the sink and footprints on the floor even though we got there at 8:30 at night which was over 6 hours after the time that we could have checked in. When we reached out to the host to discuss our concerns they were responsive but didn't seem concerned with the situation. It was a bit unnerving to find out that the place had been unsecured for hours before our arrival.

Absolutely 💯 beautiful home with beautiful owners ❤️. An awsome place to rest your head after a busy scheduled day. Showers were amazing, beds were amazing, very clean and tidy. Had all the amenities needed when you don't want to take your kitchen sink and bedding travelling for a short stay holiday. Modern, yet warm and welcoming.

Everything was great. Had to figure out how to use the key pad to open door. Swipe hand, then pin, then press* not # 😅.

Small lounge and dining area for a 5 bedroom property. A spare single mattress would have been useful for children who were not used to sharing a bed and bedding for this option. Bedding in some rooms was fleece so very hot for the summer

It was extremely hot in the upstairs bedrooms & in need of some small fans for air circulation. The road & surroundings were also extremely busy & noisy.

We were only at the property for 7 hours, however it was a great place for our group to stop in and rest before we carried on traveling. Beautiful and tidy.

Only 5 mins drive to the airport, this is the most important reason for us to stay here so we can go to the airport in the morning without fuss.

Cleanliness is a big problem for us. There's hair in the bed, which is a big no no for my wife; Dead ants bodies on the inside of the fridge door; Washing machine has dirty water inside; and the floor towels in the bathroom are stained and look very old. There's still some renovation smell and it bugs me quite a bit. Oh also, the noise from the street is quite loud, but without AC on the second floor and with the smell meaning we had to keep the windows open so the noise became very annoying.

Parking is very difficult. Could not access the garage due to narrow drive way! Only small vehicles can. Other than that it is a lovely spacious property

The rubbish bin must have been taken as there was no big bin outside,but the morning the bin for the address was put out front of the road full ready to empty

A few outstanding repairs need doing and not many dishes for a longer stay. It was fine for our purposes as we were just here overnight, but cooking for a group wouldn’t work well.

Bedding looked unclean - lots of hair and foreign things found in beds. Low quality old towels. No laundry facilities. Toilets not cleaned, dishwasher not emptied. Food disposal in sink had a smell emanating from it. No plates or decent mugs supplied.

The location with respect to the airport is excellent.

There was an infestation of ants in the kitchen with ants in both the refrigerator and freezer. We tried to contact the owners who asked us to send pictures (which we did) so the cleaner could address the issue for the next guests. When I replied that addressing the problem for the next guests would not help us at all the owners went silent. I’ve hesitated to write this negative review with the hope that the owner would reply to my multiple emails in order to negotiate a reasonable settlement but we have heard nothing. It was a wonderful trip to New Zealand except for the very last night before we flew out.

Location was only a few minutes' drive to where my niece had her 21st party near the airport. The house was nice and clean, and the beds were very very comfortable. We felt relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much.

No complaints. I just wish there was a vacuum or dust pan available for me to use because my 6 year old knows how to leave crumbs and food everywhere. But no complaints at all.. we loved our stay. Thank you

Great proximity to Airport. Lots of room to spread out for larger group.

No heat pumps upstairs so was a bit chilly. However we did find a small heater which helped. Not a deal breaker. Parking in Garage impossible for larger vehicle but we did find a space out the front. However was very muddy due to heavy rain. Probably OK in summer.

Close to airport was our main need. Comfortable modern large home. Small shopping centre close by.

Cleanliness. Bed sheets were below expectations both in terms of what they were made of and cleanliness. Shower cleanliness was under par. A bottle of liquid soap in one shower had gone off. Wifi was difficult to get into. Home was still being cleaned when we arrived mid afternoon.

Large house really conveniently located near the airport. Great that it offers one night stays for early departures or late arrivals of flights.

The linen is lower quality, cotton sheets rather than microfibre would be much more comfortable to sleep on. We couldn't find a hairdryer in the property which would have been handy.

Other reviews had us worried about the tight parking but we have a giant Landcruiser and it was a breeze

I had an eye drop bottle in my bed sheets, indicating that the cleaners did not change the bedding in the main room or I am hoping the cleaner dropped it in the bedsheets as it was being changed. The garage door being able to open slightly from the outside was a safety concern also.

entry code didn't work garage unstable. residents park cars in driveway. 5 bedrooms and no where to park cars downstairs toilet doesn't flush water in downstairs shower doesn't drain away ONE aircon for 2 level 5 bedroom house, no heating upstairs where there were 4 bedrooms linen not clean VERY small lounge area suitable for 4 people NOT 10, WE WERE A 6 AND HAD NO ROOM FOR ALL 6 TO SIT. NEIGHBOURS COMPLAIN ABOUT PARKING. WE HAD TO PARK I ST.

Everything. It was spotless and spacious and very comfortable. We only spent one night as we were flying out the next day, and this was convenient and very affordable near the airport.

The upstairs window in the ensure bathroom had been left open, and there was water on the window sill and floor because it was raining. Also, the driveway into the garage was quite narrow and made even more difficult to get into because another car was parked on the opposite side.
