Excellent Location, Concierge Staff was superb. Environment piano player when you walk in and beautiful layout lobby area.

Need a wall mirror in the bedroom area so you can get dressed put on makeup while other is person using the bathroom.

The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly. The apartment was large and comfortable with a good washing machine.

The number of commercial businesses inside the hotel limited the room for reception and quiet relaxation.

Es ist ruhig im Hotel und zimmer, obwohl neben Datang everbright city, dort ist so laut. Man kann wirklich im Zimmer wieder beruhigt werden. Das große Bette und Bettwäsche sind so gemütlich. Man kann während Nacht sich sehr gut erholen.

我們一家人預定了晚餐在飯店的自助餐並用餐希望可以改時間延後，但是櫃檯人員卻要求我們下去自己跟餐廳講。我們家有一位行動不便的老人，才想說在櫃檯請他們幫忙協助調整用餐時間。明明全球各大飯店這個都是可以在大廳櫃檯幫忙協助調整時間的，卻要求我們跑一趟。是我提出了這個疑問為什麼要特地跑到地下室去改時間？明明櫃檯也可以改的。櫃檯小姐才改口說好可以這邊幫忙改。

Lovely breakfast with a fantastic selection to choose from, i have never seen so much on offer before, from fresh fruit to hot food it was all excellent. Great location, looking out on to the wild Goose Pagoda, there is so much going on around it, probably can't see it all.

The hotel is located perfectly cross the road to the Giant Goose Pagoda and Datang ever-bright city. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast is delicious with ample options. The room is clean and spacious and the kids enjoy the sofa bed.

Two weeks ago, I had a planned trip to Xi’an with a reservation at this hotel, but my plans changed unexpectedly at the last minute. I would like to highlight that the hotel handled the situation very professionally and refunded the full amount of my booking without any charges — which I truly appreciate. A week later, we finally arrived. At around 3:00 PM during check-in, our room was still occupied, and we were asked to wait for about an hour. We were traveling with two small children (2 and 4 years old), who were tired, sleepy, and understandably upset after the journey. Once again, the hotel handled the situation in an excellent way: they kindly upgraded us to a very spacious two-bedroom residence apartment. This completely changed our experience — the kids were able to rest comfortably, and we ended up with even more space and comfort than we had originally booked. A big thank you to the hotel team for their flexibility, care, and truly high-level service

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable, had a good rest there. Breakfast was great, wide selection and generous. We could try different foods everyday :) Coffee selection was also great :)

Very near Tang Everbright City and Large Wild Goose Pagoda. Excellent service and comfortable room

Heater was a bit weak compared to other hotels

I like the location of the hotel to the big wild goose pagoda and a mall is right across the street.

We were on the first floor of the hotel so there's no view just looking at the side yard from the window. We would smell cigarette smoke coming from nearby our room so we weren't sure if it's the wind blowing the smoke into the building and coming through that way or people/staff smoking in the lobby area (we were on the ground floor and seems like there's a passageway where staff move through right across from our room.) We also heard conversations occurring around 11pm right outside our room (there was a sitting area just outside beside our room) and I didn't like that. My kids did not like the pool and facility at this hotel in comparison to other pool&facilities in China. The steam room had a mold-like smell but it was not operating at the time we were there.

Modem and super clean. Biget in toilet is a plus!!!

Breakfast was excellent on Friday and Saturday. Front desk was very courteous and helpful. There were two very helpful ladies at front desk: one was Winnie Zhou and the other Mia (the lady who serve me when i checked out on 29 Nov, hope i remember the name correctly). The Doorman/porter was very attentive and fast to assist guests with their transportation. The room services were also very prompt and kept rooms clean everyday. Would recommend anyone to stay at Westin Xi'an :)

Staff forgot to add our breakfast on the 2nd day at the Seasonal tastes restaurant with our upgrade of room.

1. Convenient location to the various attractions and shopping mall. 2. Premier room on club floor was nice and clean.

1. Lukewarm service from the staff. 2. Lack of food choices during breakfast at the executive club, while over-crowded during the evening. 3. Because of the nearby attractions, traffic to the hotel was extremely congested.

The Westin Xi’an is perfectly located if you want to experience the famous Sleepless City and enjoy the local food scene! The large shopping mall, The Joy City, is right opposite the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, making it extremely convenient for dining. Transportation is also easy, with buses and DiDi readily available to explore other nearby tourist attractions. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and plush beds that ensure a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Even though breakfast was not included, the spread was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options that made it worth every penny. Overall, the Westin Xi’an offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and access to Xi’an’s top sights and dining experiences. Highly recommended for both tourists and families.

During our stay, we noticed a discrepancy with the booking offer. The hotel promotion promised two complimentary beers, but when we checked in, the staff were not aware of this deal. While we didn’t pursue it further as my father preferred not to drink much, it would be ideal for the hotel to honour such offers as advertised. Clearer communication on this would enhance guest satisfaction. Additionally, we stayed in the Westin apartment rather than the main hotel. While the apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, it was located some distance from the main hotel lobby. This made walking to and from the main hotel quite inconvenient, especially for elderly guests. Staying in the main hotel would have provided easier access to hotel facilities and services. On a positive note, the Westin apartment offered modern, clean, and well-equipped rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the overall ambience was quiet and relaxing. The location was still convenient, with shopping, cafes, and local attractions within easy reach, making it suitable for families or groups who don’t mind the short walk. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but attention to booking promotions and proximity to the main hotel facilities would significantly improve the guest experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main pedestrian street, the Goose Pagoda, and shopping centers. It has recently been renovated and offers comfortable, spacious rooms. Considering we prefer European cuisine, there was plenty to eat and learn a lot about Chinese dishes. The staff kindly advised us on what to try and what to be careful with due to the spicy nature of the dishes. It was very gratifying to realize that the hotel caters not only to Chinese domestic tourism but also to international travel. There were no communication issues when arranging late check-outs and early check-ins. I'd especially like to thank Leona and Niko. And of course, it was a pleasure to meet a hotel staff member from Russia, the wonderful Marina, who became our guiding light throughout Xi'an and its surroundings. Overall, everything was very friendly and understandable.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location, right across the street from the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The rooms are well-appointed, beds comfortable, bathroom and shower very large, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

The suite we were in was a little tires and in need of some maintenance.

On our second morning around 930am, there was major renovation works right above our room. The drilling noise was so loud that our kids ware traumatized awake and crying, we couldn't even hear ourselves in the room. We called the concierge immediately and was told that they will look into the matter. Indeed the drilling stopped after 10mins, but other audible renovation works continued. We got a called shortly from the reception which we were informed that the renovation works was for a commercial space and could not stopped indefinitely. We gave in and asked for an hour to prep the kids. The entire building was Westin's isnt in? Even if there were commercial space, why place us in a room directly under the renovation works? Why not close off the wing? (They even told me that we had a free room upgrade to make things more ironic) I mean seriously??!?

Great hotel; brilliant location, great breakfast and the biggest bed we’ve ever slept in. Only downside was the gym, which is tired, small and stuffy.

I booked a suite through booking.com for 5 nights which should be over 900 sq ft at club level according to room description. . However, they gave me a suite at gf which is very noisy. I asked for a change. Then to my disappointment, I was given a suite at club level but of a much smaller size. Also, our mugs were not cleaned every day at all. Running out of conditioner on the fourth night. Housekeeping does not match up to other Marriott chain hotel.

Our room is too far away from the elevator.

THE HOTEL WAS IN AN IDEAL LOCATION AND IN SUCH AN INTERESTING AREA. A GREAT ROOM AND WE ENJOYED THE BUFFET STYLE FOOD AREA. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND SPOKE VERY GOOD ENGLISH.

Breakfast is perfect, many choices from Chinese to international breakfast, hotel is superb and location is just excellent in the center of Xi'an. Loved lounge at 5th floor. Spa services are just beautiful.

This Westin hotel seems to be renovated from an old one: a success since all work, especially its air condition, the best/most silent and efficient one I've rarely had!

The hotel is horizental so quite a walk to gain my room but OK. Therer are 2 regrets: 1) My VISA card didn't work on their payment terminals. Further more it said that my card was suspicious which didn't please me (it worked everywhere and I've more than enough money...) 2) Most of reception ladies are pretty but they are not ALL kind/smiling (each of my question seemed to bother each of these pretty reception ladies). Only 1 lady less pretty wearing glasses and their director were professional and nice.

Location is great, right in the middle of everbright city, you go left is the pagoda and fountain, go right is where the nightly shows and snacks, small shopping center right opposite the road. All the staff are great, working very hard to make our stay enjoyable.

Hotel is a bit dark and moody, design of the bathroom make it feel not clean (which I'm sure the cleaning staff do an exceptional job)

Excellent location - located right at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and shopping street with Starbucks and han fu store on site. Close proximity to many tourist locations. Shopping mall and food court on the opposite side of the street. Extremely convenient. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

There is a bit of a noise due to it's promixity to the walking street where shows are on till around 11 pm at night. Not too bad just a bit annoying.

Breakfast could have been better

First of all, we chose the hotel because of its award-winning architecture and interior design. This did not disappoint! The hotel blends well with its surroundings in the Dayanta area, and the courtyards were very aesthetically pleasing The location was excellent, but it was 20 minutes walking from the nearest MRT. The bed was among the most comfortable we have ever slept in. There is an indoor art museum which you get free entrance for as a hotel guest. It is quite small, but worth a visit

The central heater did not seem to be working, and the staff had to wheel in a portable heating unit. This was November 2023, so temperatures reached as low as -1 degree Celsius at night. The breakfast buffet is not the best we’ve experienced: it’s not bad but not really worth it. Some of the frontliner staff cannot communicate in English very comfortably, which we would usually understand but this is a five-star hotel. Their payment process was unconventional at least in our experience (deposit above the room rate upon checkin and another transaction with my card upon checkout) and they could not explain the payment process very well. The managers were fluent, though, and did their best to help us

We stayed in a suite which comes with a separated large living area gives the alternative space for someone needs to do work during traveling without disturbing the rest of family. Although the club lounge has very limited food options but liked their services.

We arrived the hotel around 1.30pm but was told the room was not ready and waited till 3pm to get the key. Also the next day we went to the restaurant for breakfast but was told by the reception lady twice that our booking wasn't included breakfast that after verified with their front desk. It's an awkward situation but luckily the floor manager quickly came to talk and said we have club lounge service so the breakfast was included which is the common practice for all the international hotels. Definitely the staffs need more training.
