Trekking Mu Cang Chai & Motorbikes for rent

It's a very basic stay, but I think the focus is more on the adventures they offer. I did the 1 day trekking with a great guide (he was able to speak english pretty well). I had an absolutely amazing time! If you're looking for a luxury hotel or homestay experience, this one might not be for you. If you're looking for some GREAT OUTDOOR ADVENTURES around Mu Chang Chai, I say absolutely! It's very conveniently located, with everything you need within very easy walking distance, restaurants, Cafés (especially VUA XỨ MÙ Cafe), bus stop, even a pretty large mart (Long Anh mart) that I found pretty useful. There's also a large covered balcony area with a pretty nice view that I enjoyed, especially during the heavy rain.

The receptionist was our best man. Really friendly and helpful. He helped us a lot to plan our stay in Mu Cang Chai.

The shower was really basic and the bed was a bit hard. But these are just small things.

I stayed here one night just stopping by with my motorbike. It’s right on the Main Street. The staff was very kind and helpful. I stayed in the dorm. The bed was great, curtains and good fan. I felt safe here as well. They offer filtered water & the facilities were very nice & clean. I would stay here again.

No aircon in the dorm. This wasn’t a negative for me I just wanted to include it. I felt more than comfortable with the fan 🥰

The hostel is right in the centre of Mu Cang Chai. The dorm room was very spacious and had a balcony. The beds were very comfortable.

I wished they advertised and sold their tours better. When I asked about the motorcycle tour, he just told me the price. The trekking tour also depended on how many people were there. I eventually found someone else in town to take me on a motorbike tour. You should make a poster of an itinerary of the tours.

I had 1 day trek with Trekking Mu Cang Chai team, Cao the amazing guide and gave me all the useful informations around the area. We walked on the small trails completely deserted and no tourists, everything was wild and simple with smiles and welcoming waves from Hmong people in the villages. I have been to Sa Pa and everything was completely broken with the crowds of tourists everywhere, high recommend trekking in Mu Cang Chai with these amazing guides.

I like my stay at here. Its close to what i needs because its located at the central city. The staff names Linh really welcoming me and excellent service. Can rent a motorbike too & the room is spacious as well as comfy blanket.

When i saw the beautiful pictures of the rice terraces in Mu Cang Chai on Instagram i thought that one day i would stand in the middle of this beautiful field and it came true thanks to the help and great trip arrangement of the trekking tour mu cang chai team. The location of the accommodation is right in the center and just a few steps from the bus stop, very convenient. Although the accommodation is very basic they had everything i needed, i appreciated their suggestions for a trekking tour and motorbike tour to see the most beautiful spots around. They are local guide, therefore they are very knowledgeable, i got to experiences the work of the farmers on the rice terraces and knew how hard they work to have rice to eat every day. This was definitely my best trip in Vietnam, i highly recommend you to use their services, it helps a lot to the income of the local people here.

This location right at the bus stop of all the buses through Mu Cang Chai so it is extremely convenient, get off the bus and a head to the door. Most of the staff speak good English so they will provide you with useful informations. I choosing a trekking tour with a great guide is Linh to visit the bamboo forest and the traditional house of the Hmong people, heard a lot about their life. On the second day I rented a scooter to drive myself visit some great places a little further away. This was one of the best trips I had in Vietnam, with the prices 5usd/night only can not request any more. H ighly recommend Mu Cang Chai and the service staff here.

very attentive host. location great and motorcycle rental with alright helmets. Free filtered Water. Soap and Hairshampoo was provided. Good Fan.

Unfortunately the bathroom (shower) was not the cleanest, bedroom was a bit moldy but that is due to the weather conditions. Generally basic conditions. 1 Bathroom shared with dorm on first floor. Rental of motorcycles a bit higher than others but helmets were nicer. For that same price we had nicer places in VN.

Stayed for 2 nights,was lucky to have all dorm for myself.Basic stay but with all that is needed. Reception staff was really nice:) I had an amazing experience spending 2 days with the guide from the hostel who was a lovely person! He took me to the most beautiful places through local paths between stunning rice fields,villages,view points and waterfalls. You can’t miss that if you are coming to Vietnam! Very happy with my stay,really recommend!

Although there was a bit of a language barier, our host was very welcoming. You can book tours, rent a motorcicle at the hostel. Drinkable water available. Great location.

The beds were not very comfortable, but for a few nights it is not that big of a deal.

The hotel is basic but excellent both in terms of location (a few meters from the bus stop) and the services it offers: I booked a motorbike tour from dawn to dusk through the rice fields and it was one of the most beautiful experiences I had in Vietnam. The added value was the guide Cau, extremely kind, with an excellent knowledge of the places and with excellent English. If you do the motorbike tour, absolutely ask to have Cau as a guide.

The staff there are wonderful, they tried to do everything, provide as much informations as possible to make the best experience for guests. The accommodation is right at the bus stop so it is extremely convenient for traveling as well as eating. Despite the bad weather, I still booked myself a hiking trip with a guide named Ky. He is a great guide with clearly understanding of the area, Ky took me to beautiful spots, it was paradise that I had never seen. I appreciate the way they did everything to help me have the best experience. The receptionist also helped me book a bus ticket back to Hanoi. Really recommend

With the prices you paid for a place to sleep like that, there's nothing to complain about.

All i can say. That we loved our stay here. Rosa the receptionist was just amazing help, we came at 3 am (bus delay).. Its just at the centre of town (literally), close to everything we needed. We have even rented motorbikes, they were just fine! Thank you!

The accommodation in the central of Mu Cang Chai town, walking 5m only from the bus stop. I really had a great time with Ha, she was my guide in trekking tour. We visited to Kim Noi with amazing landscapes. During the trip we did not see any tourist, it was perfect time for me.

This is a small accommodation located right in the center of Mu Cang Chai town so it is very convenient. The bus dropped me off right at the hostel gate. With such a cost, you cannot ask for a better accommodation than this location. I had a scooter ready to go exploring all day. Otherwise, you can also choose a trekking tour with a local guide so you can learn more about everything in Mu Cang Chai
