A Lử Homestay, Trek,Bus & Motobirke Yên Bái

Rapport qualité prix, rien a dire.

Welcoming

Lack of access to drinks /food

Staff super ospitale, davvero una famiglia stupenda, il posto incredibile, consiglio vivamente a tutti

Good homestay

This place makes you feel right at home. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and generous. They helped us with various bus transfers in every way possible, and they offer motorcycle rentals. The accommodation offers several comfortable spaces, both indoors and outdoors, where you can spend time in comfort even on rainy days. It's very clean and well-kept. The breakfast is delicious, and the owners are very accommodating to your needs. We would be delighted to return if we'll pass through this wonderful place again!

The host arranged a tour of the rice terraces and bus tickets to Hanoi for us.

We stayed in the double room and the mattress was quite hard. Only shared bathrooms.

Owner waited for my arrival, even when I arrive late at 2am. Gave me private room. Worth the money, good experience

good location and nice bed space. the owner and the lady who cook are super nice, helpful and kindly people

nothing

Great host. We arrived really early, the host gave us access to a shower and a room to change in, whilst awaiting our room. We booked a private room. Host arranged for a local guide to take us out for the day on a guided moped tour

The location was perfect. It’s situated in between the town, the hike to the rice paddy fields and the bamboo forest. Everything is within walking distance. Also the buses stop right in front of the place. The downside is it’s quite nosy in the morning with all the traffic and the honking. The couple owner, although don’t speak much English but still very welcoming. The Mrs is very friendly and smiley. I had a home cooked meal with them one evening and she made black chicken (a local specialty) for me along with many other fishes and it costed 50,000 vnd. Also hosts didn’t push me to buy extra service, like motorbike ride or anything like that. When I asked for info going to rice paddy field and bamboo forest. However at the same time they were not very informative on hikes.

The main complain would be noise. Funny the doors and windows don’t really close properly so it doesn’t help to shut out the noise. But don’t get me wrong, it is still very quiet at night. Unless you are unlucky like me with a big group of local tourists staying in the second night I was there and I got moved downstairs. They were loud and kids were running around until past midnight. And the beds are rather hard but I think this is their culture.

The host and hostess are very helpful. Good location. Value for money.

None.

A Lử (Doan) and his wife (Van) were very friendly, thorough, and they helped us book motorcycles to go to sightseeing places. The location is good. The place was clean and the dinner was good. We forgot our laptop charger at his home and he drove his bike to chase the bus and give the charger cord to our bus.

Nothing

Lovely homestay and welcoming hospitality, price is decent and the food is good.

Very lovely people. The hospitality of the people is amazing. The mattresses are typical Vietnamese which I've grown used to.

The rooms area was pretty big and spacious. 2 bathrooms available. There are 2 balconies to chill and hang out with friends. The hosts are incredible. They stayed up to wait for us arriving with the night bus from Hanoi till 3 in the morning. We had 2 incredible dinners prepared by the host (really tasty, shared some pics). Breakfast was included and pretty nice as well (we had Vietnamese coffee, rice with some meet and eggs). Free water is always available. The host also did us some laundry (we were not charged for it). The hosts do not speak English, but google translate helps.

Hospitality

Very welcoming hosts and quiet homestay. We had a very nice moment there !

The breakfast was pretty basic. Omelette and bread but tasted good. Staff were lovely! Very friendly and helpful. When I accidentally broke one of the mirrors on their rental scooter the owner said “don’t worry about it, as long as you are okay”. Love that! Great shower too, Nice and powerful

Beds could have been more comfortable but with the price I paid I can’t complain really.

The owners are very sweet and welcoming people. We enjoyed having dinner with them. We really laughed with them and had fun! The room was simple but clean and quiet. (There where no other guests)

Nothing

We stayed here for four nights during the Tet holiday and it was a very memorable experience. We had planned to stay only two nights but didn't realise that there were no buses over Tet, but it was no problem at all to extend our stay. The rooms and shared bathroom were basic but sufficient, and the view from the balcony is incredible. We were shown around the mountains and got to see the amazing scenery and mountain villages (there are motorbikes available to rent). The hosts were super nice and we were so grateful that they welcomed us into their homestay as the only foreign guests and invited us to celebrate Tet with them. The homecooked food was incredibly tasty and our hosts helped us with all our needs. All in all, a trip to Mu Cang Chai is worth it even just for this homestay, i would always choose it again.

The homestay was clean and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming

Nothing, it was great!

Nice location and beautiful, friendly staff, good food

Along the main road

Great place and lovely hosts, recommend!

Staff was super nice, welcomed us very early in the morning because the bus was late. It was raining heavily on the day of check out and they made sure we caught the right bus, gave us coffee while we waited and called the driver to see when he would be arriving since it was raining. The place is nice and private.

the mattresses were a bit hard to sleep on but we slept with no problems at night

I spend 2 nights in A Lu Homestay, it was very nice ! I have nothing bad to say about it, you can rent a motorbike directly with this homestay and discover Mu Cang Chai ! Doan and Van are so nice and generous, they will be able to welcome you as they should ! Thank you very much 😁 I recommend this place !

Extremely kind family and cooked an epic dinner

Very helpful host.

Lovely people. They welcomed for us with free Vietnamese dinner.

Ugly room. They changed us to another room in a nearby home stay because we didn’t like it. Located in the highway, so a lot of noise. 20 dollars for that room? Mmmm more than expensive. Not recommended

Helpful staff

It was like sleeping next to the road. Construction is very lightweight so you hear every motorbike, car like they go next to your head and also I felt colder here. I booked a double bed room, but there were thin wooden walls with holes, I heard everything from the next room. The room was very small with hard mattress. If you welcome comfort, you should look somewhere else but if you enjoy more "natural style" you woul be fine.

Good location and the staff is nice.

The room doesn't match the description with several facilities missing, no private bathroom. The room wasn't really clean, the toilets were dirty.

Really friendly people and good food! Google translate helps to get some conversation; in the meantime I also tried to learn some Vietnamese words. Great and welcoming place.

The matras is a bit hard (not used to), but I think that is for most places around here. I could still sleep fine on it.

The hosts were welcoming and made sure our grandmother felt comfortable, which made us feel great. All necessary facilities were given Wi-Fi, cleanliness and a two shared bathrooms for the guests on the second floor were enough. Thank you for having us!

Great and generous hosts that will help you get around and organize your trip. Cosy and quiet place.

When there’s guests in the neighboring rooms there may be some noise.

Basic, but everything you need. Very clean. Had a lovely dinner with the kind family there. Nice place to stay for a night.
