En general todo estuvo muy bien!

Excelente atencion de todo el personal del hotel. las habitaciones de muy buen tamaño y las camas muy comodas. Tiene varias piscinas para disfrutar y los bares tenian bastante variedad. la verdad es que fueron unas excelentes vacaciones

el Wifi no llegaba a todos los sectores del hotel lo que dificultaba a veces la comunicacion con el grupo que andabamos, sobre todo con los hijos. Muchas de las fiestas en la piscina y actividades eran en otros Hoteles de la cadena por lo que no pudimos disfrutar mucho de eso. No se permitia hacer reservas en los restaurantes de la noche y para poder conseguir mesa para todo el grupo se dificultaba bastante ya que eramos 16 personas.

La ubicacion, ya que no tenia sargazo, el personal, la habitacion y su vista, el desayuno, la zona de piscinas y playas.

El personal de animacion, sobre todo de dia, fue inexistente, muy pobre en relacion a otros hoteles. La calidad de la comida, buffet y variedad, no es muy buena.

CREDITS $910. USD - is a LIE! it is only coupons at the resort which are based on nothing. The coupons are seriously worthless. They spread them across things you do not need lol. SPA Access- is only a jacuzzi tub and steam room have to book in advance. RESTAURANTS are horrible they each offer only 3 entrees they are pretty much cooked already ready for you to order. Buffet was worth it for sure. STAFF - Rude and would not explain credits or any information really. One of the car attendees tried to get me to pay $75 for a taxi to Isla Mujeres. USE UBER we paid $11!! Everywhere we went we were not greeted or anything. Souvenir store is horrible, they will take forever to cash you out. When I asked about the coupons they went crazy lol. You do get $25 credit for jewelry and $40 off pics lol off $140. 1 Elevator located in the front of the building. That’s it. Stairs are used a lot. Beds are hard. Be sure you tell staff not to turn AC down or fan off. Gets very humid and hot. Over all this resort was not for me. Only GINA front desk was actually nice to us and helped us. Internet and RIU App will kick you off repeatedly. It was horrible.

La tarifa de reservación fue diferente a la tarifa cobrada, se hizo una reserva con mi hijo menor de edad, cuando llegué al hotel informan que la reserva quedó como bb y debían cobrar USD 600 por el, cambiando la expectativa del viaje, se reportó como queja pero a la fecha no he recibido respuesta, mal servicio portventa.

La comida es excelente, los restaurantes a la carta son excepcionales. Las instalaciones se encuentran en muy buen estado.

Instalaciones, habitaciones, comida, amabilidad del personal, piscinas, playa, toboganes, actividades y shows nocturnos. Todo buenísimo.

1. Uno de los recepcionistas (Brian si mal no recuerdo), pero fue la excepción, los demás todos muy amables. 2. Los Kayak nunca los prestan, excusándose por el oleaje (incluso cuando no había nada de olas). 3. El animador de la noche podría ser un poco más animado :)

I had an excellent stay at RIU Dunamar from June 12th to June 18th. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning views and several pools that were kept perfectly clean throughout our stay, as were all the surrounding areas and grounds. I would especially like to recognize the outstanding housekeeping service. I stayed in room 2112, and it was always spotless. Carlos, one of the housekeeping staff members who cleaned our room, did an exceptional job and deserves recognition for his dedication and attention to detail. The restaurants are beautiful and provide a wonderful atmosphere for dining. The buffet offers a wide variety of food options, all fresh and well-presented, making it easy to enjoy something different and delicious every day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The cleanliness, facilities, food, and friendly staff made our vacation truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future. The entertainment was outstanding throughout our stay. The evening shows were excellent, especially the International Show, which featured talented performers and impressive dance routines. The Neon Party was absolutely amazing and was the highlight of our trip! The energy, music, lights, and atmosphere were incredible, making it one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our vacation.

At one of the à la carte restaurants, although the food was good, it was served cold.

From the lobby the customer service is very good and they welcome people with warm smiles and they are good in hospitality. The way they manage to entertain the guests in all type of entertainment good food . The only thing I can say about the drink their drink don’t have taste or they may dilute them . I highly recommend people this Hotel it’s the best 5/5

La máquina de hielo estaba muy lejos y no funcionó ningún día, tenía que bajar un piso para ir a otra máquina.

La vista del cuarto y las piscinas

La comida no era lo esperado decepción demasiado y pasaron incidente donde personas vomitaban o inclusive hacían eses en la piscina y el personal no actuaba o seguían el protocolo, si uno como cliente no reportaban o les avisaba a los demás clientes nadie les dejaba saber a ellos que deben salirse de la piscina .

La atención en los restaurantes y la calidad y variedad de la comida merecen puntaje máximo. El estado de los toboganes de agua para niños es bastante bueno, aunque el horario hasta las 5 pm obliga a asolearse en las peores horas del día.

La lejanía en Costa Mujeres es un tema a considerar siempre. También la simpleza de los espectáculos nocturnos, el karaoke en donde abrían el espacio para pedir canciones en únicamente cinco minutos y la discoteca Pacha muy básica también.

El restaurant kulinarium algo lentos y el arroz con langosta no lo recomiendo. Un sr con identificación de Booking coordinó una excursión q dijo era gratis y a 11 am, resultó que era a Playa del Carmen y no a Cancun, x lo que cancelamos y perdimos tpo de disfrute. La mala coordinación fue en persona a nombre de Booking, su nombre Edgar que nos llamó a la habitación.

It was Amazing! Very clean, beautiful views, all the staff was very nice and always willing to help. It was an amazing experience, would totally recommend it. We will be definitely staying in Riu Dunamar again next time we are in Cancun.

Me gustó todo, la atención del personal, desde la persona que te recibe en la entrada del hotel, recepción, en el casino Playa Mujeres todos muy amables desde Daniel que es el encargado y todos, Angel en la piscina-bar, la gente en general con una orientación al servicio increíble. Además el hotel el muy bonito.

Ducha salía poco agua y el desagüe suelto de la ducha incomodaba , ya que la chaya no se podía girar mas, incluso estaba algo dañada , ya que alguien intento girarla.Señal de TV se quedaba pegada a veces.

They wasn’t 100% clean on top of that the food at this resort sucks!! we went to the Italian restaurant that they had on the resort, and there was a green worm, still alive, crawling off of my appetizer onto our table🤮🤮 everything at this place is not working. Looks like they’re still doing construction because they were constructing one of the rooms next-door from us… room cleaning came after 3 o’clock to change our sheets and the sheets were dirty, and we had to change them again ourselves

No me gusto nada, no tiene estructura para tanta gente. No pude cenar ningún día en algún restaurante.

Todo es pésimo, es un hotel pequeño para 759 habitaciones, muy malo ya me mude para El Riu Palace Kukulkán. Este si es muy bueno.

Food was subpar at most of the specialty restaurants we did not have a chance to visit kulinarium. The service at the pompeyansnd the stakehouse we're not the best considering being speciality- they do not offer cocktails only wine. Some recommendations for improvement include more hooks in the bathrooms, dedicated adult swim or extend pool hours for adults. Earlier times for kids activities and excursions that are more child friendly. Riu Fun merch would have been nice. Over all it was great considering the price but I hope the food quality improves.

Me gustó la talla del lugar, fácil para desplazarse sin caminar mucho. La comida era de calidad, variada, las bebidas estaban bien, aunque casi no consumimos alcohol, me gustó que tuvieran opción de cerveza 0%. El área de alberca para niños, muy muy bien, mi hijo la pasó genial! El servicio de limpieza excelente y la capacidad de respuesta del personal muy bien, muy rapida y con la aplicación muy eficiente!

El área de la playa estaba bastante sucia, aveces éramos las primeras en llegar a los camastros y había basura del día anterior (platos sucios tirados, rollo de papel de baño, colillas de cigarros), deberían de limpiar la zona, seguro los de limpieza vieron eso al momento de instalar los camastros.

location is a hour from the airport. Its the last resort on the street. They have several restaurants that offer breakfast lunch and dinner at some. The beach was beautiful and they have several pools and a swim up bar.

There were no riu parties thats the reason i booked that hotel.

I would highly recommend this Riu Resort. It’s family friendly so expect kids and kid-friendly entertainment as well. The location on costa mujeres is beautiful. It is the very last resort on that strip. The staff are excellent and very hospitable! Bartenders were charming and friendly, servers polite and helpful, front desk informative and pleasant, spa/restaurants/gift shop personnel always attentive and helpful… everyone was truly nice. The drink/alcohol variety were quite expansive i never once felt limited. I took full advantage :) The entertainment team for both kids and adults are very hard working and talented. The shows were often well done and karaoke nights were always fun and enjoyable. The Riu all white party hosted at Dunamar was absolutely amazing AND family friendly. It felt like a 2000’s club vibe, i truly had a blast. The steam room, jacuzzis and gym were also available at no additional cost and were more than adequate and relaxing. We were able to try 3 restaurants and the steak house’s food and service surpassed my expectations. For my birthday dinner at the steak house i received a cake and the servers sang for me and mimicked fireworks! It really made the day extra memorable.

I think my biggest grievance would be the inconvenience of not having room service. If you missed dinner you missed dinner and there’s not many (to my knowledge) alternative options later in the night. For me, i had a lot of trouble with wifi in my room as well.

despues las 23.00h, hay discoteca Pacha hasta las 02.00h y siempre dejaron la puerta abierta, lo cual dejo innecesariamente mucho ruido al cuarto.

One restaurant was closed the whole stay. 2 other restaurants were open but turned us away with open tables available! So we were only able to try one restaurant and for the price of this resort that is unacceptable!

El buffet muy completo, los bares con muy buenos tragos y atención.

El hotel es muy grande pero solo tiene 2 ascensores por cada ala, por lo que hay que caminar mucho si te toca en un extremo. Además las piscinas cierran a las 7, cuando aún hace calor y mucho sol; y hay poca sombra en general, si no logras reposeras temprano, no hay opción de tener algo se sombra.

Me intoxiqué con la carne que comí en la primera noche (restaurante Las Brasas). Pedí a la recepción que me ofreciera por lo menos agua caliente para calmar el estómago, pero me lo rechazaron diciendo que no ofrecemos room service. También nos dijo que si quieres lo puedes pedir en el bar. Les pregunté tengo que bajar hasta el bar aunque esté enferma?? Y la respuesta era sí. Es un poco frío sin cuidado para ser 5 estrellas, no? En nuestra habitación no había cafetera. Nos dimos cuenta de eso porque la recepción nos dijo que pues puedes hacer agua caliente con cafetera! Salimos del hotel por la madrugada (a las 6:00) y el desayuno fue plátanos y sándwiches preparados para el área deportiva de 24 horas. Es decir nada de calidad. Dudo si realmente es un servicio de 5 estrellas.
