Ontbijt was geweldig we werden echt Koninklijk ontvangen! We voelden ons zo welkom! Het uitzicht was echt om niet aan te wennen vanuit de badkamer, terwijl je je tanden poetst kijken over dit landschap! En dat tussen twee vluchten in, puur genieten!!

Alles wat bij de spa hoorde zoals massages moest je nog los betalen, we hadden dat simpelweg niet verwacht. Maar verder geen probleem

Номер був комфортний з видом на ландшафт з перспективою, так як на 3-му поверсі. Персонал любʼязно надав адаптери у користування та відносно швидко додав відсутні кімнатні тапочки. Відмінне спа, не багато відвідувачів у денний час.

Сніданок минулого року був більш цікавий, ніж на цей раз. Номер не був повністю укомплектований халатами та тапочками. Незручний дозатор для миючих з тонкими трубками. Підлога потребує ремонту через скрип та недостатня звукоізоляція між санвузлом сусіднього номеру.

The property and location are simply stunning, well managed and run by amazing staff who genuinely can’t do enough to help. A truly terrific team. I have to make a special mention regarding Abdul. Never have I experienced such dedicated customer service, from such an enlightening person. Always making sure all the customers had his personal attention and were being looked after with a smile and charismatic personality.

Bedienend personeel in het restaurant was extreem goed. De mensen waren communicatief, gezellig en grappig. Ze maakten echt contact met jou als gast.

Elektrisch laden: de EV palen op de grote parkeerplaats deden het niet. Dit mag niet meer voor zo'n hotel. Het is erg gemakkelijk als je op doorreis bent dat je hotel ook werkend EV-charging ondersteunt

The Buildings Architecture, History, the restaurant menu, the hospitality, cleanliness, overall service. What an absolute delight to have stayed. It was a very busy evening as the hotel had a Wedding event also, however nothing was compromised in service, food nor timing. I totally recommend Nutfield Priory and it's Spa (even if it is just a dip or hot tub.

Not having a robe at the Spa. I believe if you are having a Spa day or treatment you get a robe.. but it's only a towel for the pool, which gets wet before you want to shower after. Please make more towels or a robe available in the changing areas.

Sadly very late getting into hotel bedroom 56 minutes , had to rebook our dinner from 7.30 to 6 not great after having a late lunch, hotel amazing and Graham who looked after us brilliant

Was given tiny room near kitchen generator was changed after complaining, swimming pool was tiny people standing like sardines in a tin couldn’t even swim, was very expensive for such poor facilities

It was a beautiful, old and historic building that felt really special, from the outside and inside. The staff were all incredibly nice and pleasant. It was lovely having access to the spa. The scones with jam and cream were lovely too!

The facilities felt dated and could definitely be spruced up. The a/c did not stretch much to the room and so we arrived feeling very hot. There were cobwebs around the room. The breakfast and dinner were pleasant but not the best meals we’ve had (the vegetarian options at dinner weren’t great or particularly inspiring, which was surprising given the very accommodating options at breakfast).

The first room we had the bed squeaks the Aircon kept on beeping and refilling we got moved rooms, but I didn’t have you like we did our other room for £250 a night there was no shower cap or toothbrushes in the first room we were in just very basic for that price. Spa is very outdated and disgusting classes in the pool

Luxury heritage hotel, comfy, spacious and with great food.

Staff was not good, receptionist was making inapropriate jokes with the couple checking in in front of us, then was quite rude to us.

Wish we had been given a bit more of a tour of the spa. Only realised there was a cafe afterwards. All excellent though.

The room and hotel were lovely, romantic and also dramatic and well finished, the food was exceptional as was the breakfast in the room and without question the staff were the standout, everyone was os kind and helpful and with a special note for the resturant manager and Caspar at the bar.

Beautiful building and lovely grounds but didn’t get to use the additional facilities as we were only there for a wedding . The reception staff on the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

The bedrooms and painting upstairs was tired and flakey, the rooms small with not such a great view - mainly of air con units. Bathroom very very small . Unable to reach toilet paper as almost behind you. Shower screen door leaked everywhere and was mopped up by the towels. Low level facilities in the room considering the initial presentation of hotel and the star rating of the hotel. Dinner was okay - food was nice, due to a late arrival the dinner service staff were clearing tables and carrying old table cloths and cutlery past us during service. No one to pour the wine and he to request find someone and request this however my partner did it in the end. At breakfast sadly we were forgotten and left without a menu or coffee for 15 mins then breakfast took another 20 plus to arrive . Ordered brown toast and when it did arrive, sadly it was on white, informed there wasn’t any brown left, by 9.30 am most food sold out and no plates or fruit or muffins for the continental buffet was available. We ate at different times each morning and a similar problem, staff thin on the ground or not too interested to help . The seating area outside at the back was lovely but the glass in the tables was dirty and sticky with glass marks and wasn’t clean. This wasn’t late into the evening but around 8pm and staff were not anywhere to be seen . Sadly I was quite disappointed and had expected a better standard than a local pub environment.

The Priory is a lovely architectural setting

We stayed two years ago. Food has gone down hill massively. A couple of soggy sandwiches with two drinks was £100! We ate in nearby Redhill which was comparatively extraordinary value… food was great and half the price. The sign of a struggling hotel.

Beautiful suite, with gorgeous views over the south of England.

The only issue for us was the high step to get into the bath for a shower. Because we are elderly this was a little tricky. But this says more about us than the hotel. In hindsight a room with a walk in shower would have been better.

Aircon is great in the room. Spa is also very nice

Prices were high and not included refrigerator. Some of the staff were lovely, some of them very eccentric.

Was very grand, everything was proper. The building had its character but was modern and well looked after. The room was perfection and the views were unbelievable

The service was extremely slow, and the staff seemed undertrained given the hotel's prices and reputation. While the amenities were acceptable, many areas felt dated and could benefit from renovation. Overall, the experience did not justify the high cost, and I would not recommend staying here.

Staff were friendly.

We paid £1,000 for two nights. This, for a room with scaffolding outside (see photos). The hotel is very tired and unattractive internally, with furniture that should have been replaced many many years ago. We wanted to check in three hours early, for which they wanted to charge us an additional £90 for the pleasure. This was our second time in this hotel, the first and last times.

Il freddo. Pur essendo la prima settimana di giugno era freddissimo. Pioggia e vento. Riscaldamenti spenti. La prima notte è stata infernale. Nelle camere non c'è la seconda finestra interna e la camera era gelida. Avevano spento la settimana prima perché aveva fatto caldo e non avevano pensato di riaccendere. Ricevimento un po' burbero.

All the staff are exceptionally friendly and made us feel really welcome. We were given a lovely table in the library for our evening meal and room service was excellent. Breakfast included lots of lovely touches including a healthy shot of the day and the spa team were also great.

One of our rooms had an unexpected plumbing issue so 2 of our party couldnt shower in their room.

The location, the welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, the handwritten anniversary card and chocolates (thank you!) and the beautiful, interesting building.

The welcome letter in the room referred to a stay in winter instead of summer, the bar service didn't come out onto the terrace, no slice of cucumber with the Hendrick's G&T, ripped parasols on terrace, garden not weeded, scaffolding, no fish knife for the lemon sole, old anniversary chocolates, pool too shallow.

Room numbers did not flow difficult to find rooms. I had to return to reception to be escorted as room so hard to find. Most rooms involved uneven step staircases. Bathroom clean, but dated

The staff in all areas especially the restaurant were outstanding, they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was to much trouble. We had lunch in the bar area, where the young man there was so welcoming and friendly.We also had an evening meal here and Abdol made this very special indeed, his knowledge of the menu and his service was exceptional. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.The hotel itself was very beautiful, with plenty of quiet places to sit with a drink and just relax. At breakfast, the impeccable service started again, with our two wonderful waiters, Dorick and Alfie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Nutfield Hotel. Everything was beautiful, and we enjoyed every single moment. The staff were beyond amazing — very friendly, respectful, and helpful — and everything was clean and well organised. One thing that really impressed me was when I called reception to ask for a cake, but unfortunately the kitchen had already closed for the night. Despite that, the lovely staff member kindly offered to provide toast, jam, honey, and some simple snacks instead. I truly appreciated her kindness, thoughtfulness, and excellent customer service. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would definitely love to come back again!

Recommendation from a local wedding venue

Arrived late at night after a wedding and reception member was not overly helpful. But others in our party who arrived earlier who were elderly were helped with baggage well

Beautiful country house hotel with a nice swimming pool and spa. Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is excellent and the restaurant serves high quality food. Staff were exceptionally kind.

Location was good as I was less than ten minutes from the wedding venue we were attending with family.

Presumably the rooms in the original part of the Priory have some character, but the more modern ones are bland and sterile with ill-fitting blinds and basic furniture/fittings. The breakfast was poor, with the "full English" falling well short of the menu description.

The room service wasn’t great. Our order was forgotten and then when it arrived over an hour later it was poor food quality.

Nous avons adoré le bar-restaurant. Le bâtiment a beaucoup de charme et est très bien conservé, avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne anglaise. Le personnel était très sympathique et attentionné.

Le jacuzzi était en panne. Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas accéder à un petit chemin pour se promener à pied dans la campagne autour de l’hôtel.
