Staff were fantastic throughout the stay, breakfast was nice and the dinner was exceptional. House was lovely and real great place to stay.
Only issue was the room was perfect for a couple we were facilitated with a cot for our son but it took up a lot of the room
Staff were excellent.loved the Thermal spa area
Location was quiet and relaxed The room was lush with a lovely view of the grounds
It was a little hot so i think a top sheet on the bed as i did request but they either didnt see it or forgot The lights were a little dull some form of panel on wall i could not operate lighting
Location
One wall socket which I located underneath the table next to wardrobe. NO TV remote control did ask and were informed “sorry no spare”
So close to Dublin
Nil
On arrival the whirl at the reception were very kind
Too many stairs and very hard to find our room, once we arrived into our room I needed to use the bathroom, figuring out there was no toilet paper, I had to go all the way back down stairs as the phone to ring reception wasn’t working. The receptionist was very apologetic and sent toilet paper up to our room. We then had a letter on the floor of our room saying we couldn’t shower or use the water as there was an issue with the water pipes. There was no warning about this until we got up to our room. There are no hair dryers in the room and also there is an iron but no ironing board. There was cobwebs all over the ceiling of the room especially where the lampshades are. For one night I paid €179 and I genuinely think it wasn’t worth the price at all
Sehr schönes Hotel, mit freundlichem Personal und einem sauberen, hochwertigem Zimmer. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut
Lunch and Breakfast and old world setting
Dinner wasn't as nice as I expected First room.allocated was not to my liking
The peace and quiet, just amazing’
Everything was perfect!
Friendly staff, rural location, outdoor spa, lovely evening meal.
Disability access not obvious. Stairs to top of house steep! Bathroom lovely needed some hooks for towel /clothes. Kettle leaked. No fridge.
Thermal spa was beautiful amazing scenery & good expierence overall. The hotel its self is quite nice rooms are spacious not the cleanest, stuff left under bed from previous stayers. There were 9 of us on which they did secure an amazing room for us to eat, the food was ok apart from some ingredients being frozen( the menus are quite small in which frozen goods should not be an option with such little choice. Breakfast was not great slimy undercooked eggs & sour butter 🫣
We liked the staff. Everyone was very friendly.
We were in the stables. We couldn’t put the heating on and the lights didn’t seem to work properly.
Quaint charm of the building.
The setting and buildings are charming. The mature trees on the grounds are stunning!
We made a reservation for dinner before we even arrived and they didn't have it. They took 90 minutes to bring us food once we sat down. They said the kitchen lost our order. This put a real damper on our experience at Bellinter House. Also the windows of the bedroom only open 2 inches and it was a warm night...hard to sleep.
The grounds were gorgeous, food amazing, dinner and breakfast. The spa was so relaxing. Staff were so attentive and engaging. Our room and ensuite were very comfortable and stylish. We loved our stay and will be back for another stay. We loved to see the dogs welcomed too!
Nothing. Loved it all
Fantastic location. Beautiful grounds. This is an adult wedding venue and not a leisure family holiday place.
None of the leisure facilities are child friendly - especially the pool. There is no gym.
The food, staff and room were all excellent. We had dinner in Prestons which was amazing. Hot tub was very clean and was pre-heated in advance of our arrival which was a nice touch. Express is a unique experience when a country house stay is a dime a dozen in Ireland.
We stayed in the Express at a premium price. It is advertised as a secluded location away from the main house, but in reality you are staying beside the main access road and carpark. Very little in the way of privacy. Guests can walk right up to it and have a look if they want, with only tiny signs asking people to keep away. There is a deck with a hot tub and table. Would be romantic if it wasn't for the fact that it is visible by the public from 3 sides. Appreciate the location was probably picked out of necessity, but even a little bit more effort to make it private would be an improvement.
The house itself it’s just beautiful 🤩 Great food and great atmosphere!
Amazing food, staff and location
Stable rooms were a bit too warm. Portable fans were provided though so not a huge deal
Easy access from Dublin Airport. A warm welcome, even with our late arrival after midnight. Lovely warm, spacious room, well equipped and kitted out in the lounge section and in the bathroom. Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were kind and welcoming.
Velux window didn't close, flies getting in especially at night. No lift to the lovely attic suite. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the spa element of the resort, as under 16s cannot use the thermal facilities (insurance purposes, understandably). We were disappointed, so we left early. If that information had been clearly stated online, at the time of booking, we obviously would have booked a more suitable accommodation, with facilities that could have been enjoyed by all. Please consider this as a priority. You have a beautiful set up. Ensure hotel facilities match the needs of the guests. Future reviews should reflect a positive experience supporting efforts made by your staff to satisfy the hotel's customers. It's not just food and accommodation you're offering. It's a spa destination as well. The tempting images of a pool, a description of the length of the pool are rather enticing. Attach some wording like "enjoyed by 16Yr olds and over"/ "You must be 16 to avail of the thermal spa facilities/pool". It's not the guest's fault if they turn up expecting to use the facilities, if there is no advisory statement accompanying the description of the facilities, when booking online.
The hotel is breathtaking!
I was a bit disappointed by the staff, during check-in I felt a bit like a burden. During dinner my rare steak was well done, and the waiter complained about the discussion in the kitchen to resolve it. I really wanted to go to the wellness center when we got there, but closed super early, for a one night stay it basically leaves barely any time to go if you have plans in the morning.
Service/Staff/Area
Lovely peaceful setting and great spa. However the thermal area was extra for guests and I think it should have been included as it was relatively expensive to stay.Staff were lovely especially a lovely helpful woman at front desk.
I have just returned from staying at the Bellinter hotel on Saturday 18th July and I would need to express my outmost disappointment and disgust at my experience with this hotel. I will just bullet point my issues as to describe my experience in detail ...is just unbelievable Reception staff...extremely rude ignorant and most (i cannot stress this enough) u helpful. The spa facilities where we were told to change ...they were disgusting dirty smelled of human faces..there were 8 girls in there at the same time trying to get freshened up. This was an absolute disgrace The room ...the thermostat was broken we couldn't get the room cooled down we had to sleep with window wide open. The coffee machine and kettle lovely as they are the only place to plug them in was over the other side of the room and on the FLOOR !!! The carpet leading to the bedroom was .....screwed to the stairs as it had a massive great hole in it . Opposite the practically empty dirty vending machine. This hotel is meant to be rated a 4star, the cost of the room would reflect this if the hotels level of cleanliness or their facilities were not absolutely filthy, disgusting and smelly. By far out of all the hotels I had stayed in both in Ireland and abroad the reception staff in the Bellinter are by far the WORST ...Clearly they do not like or take pride in their jobs. I hope this email reached relevant persons who can address these issues. Very disgusted and angry.
Jaccuzi
Spa. Food amazing
No air con
Super lokalizacja obsługa .pieknie polozony w swirly stylu
Top locatie, mooie kamer en attent personeel!
the hotel was lovely, perfectly located near the Hill of Tara that we were visiting. We had both dinner and breakfast there which were both fantastic. very kind staff. no complaints.
everything was great.
Bellinter House was exceptional. Staff, accommodation and food all top notch. The grounds were just beautiful with a lovely tree-lined drive in and sweeping lawn in front of the property.
Nice architecture and design.
Couldn’t accommodate early check in. Even though I had checked in online in advance. Staff hadn’t preauthorised c card so even though I had a download that proved I was a resident (having used guest barcode) I had to go back to my room, get my card and pay for my meal.
all was good except we didnt had jacuzzi but we got offered a spa service instead,
Nice staff, very relaxing, good sized ,obviously very good groundsman kept the area beautiful ,nice breakfast, will be back
Nothing
Staff member Daniel was great!
Price was a bit expensive
Beautiful house & location. Staff very friendly
Almost everything
The house suite needs blackout curtains otherwise perfect
Bellinter House and grounds are amazing. The house has been refurbished with respect to its long heritage. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, respectful and professional with it. They know and respect the house and its history. They are a pleasure to be around. Believe me … that is an unusual combination in a staff that size! Well done to Managment who can creat such a team!
Its history, location and its staff.
Friendly and welcoming
Nothing
I loved the friendly staff and the quick response from the staff.
Everything was perfect bar the weather.
Et helt unikt sted. Historisk, vakkert og veldig god service. Full pakke
Ingenting !
The place is fabulous and the staff are so nice
Quite and very comfortable and the staff extremely nice and helpful
Nothing at all
Everything the hotel is like stepping into a whole different era
Booked last minute on a car tour of Ireland. Beautiful grounds make this unique property. We had a good meal in the restaurant where the staff was responsive.
No complaints
My favorite place to stay in Ireland. Captivating, enchantingly old world beauty. The perfect way to relax and care for yourself in between adventures! I like to stay here after more intense outdoorsy type side quests and it's the best way to relax again.
The park around the hotel is incredible. The rooms are extremely big and have all amenities available. Above all, the staff was so accomodating, helpful and friendly. We would have stayed longer if we had not planned the rest of our trip. If we come back to Ireland, we would definitly go back as there are so many things to see around the hotel.
Hotel is just Fabulous! Great staff, great decor and the room was so quirky, it was just brilliant. Food was good too and overall the service was just top notch. My wife also enjoyed the spa aswell.
The property is really lovely and well located but our room was really hot and stuffy the windows didn’t open up wide enough to let fresh air in. The was a slanted roof left it awkward getting in and out of bed. There was sweet paper and dust on the floor beside the bed and side cabinet
It was a beautiful old property with allot of personality. I feel the staff let it down. There was no friendly greeting on arrival. It was our first time being there we weren’t told where breakfast would be in the morning or dinning room. Nothing was explained. There was a wedding taking place and as guest we felt over looked. The staff looked stressed and very busy in the restaurant and at breakfast we over heard two members of staff argue with each other during breakfast . The service wasn’t great my husband finished his food while I waited for mine.
Rien
La liste est trop longue le décrire
The view and grounds were gorgeous. The staff were amazing our waiter Cian was so helpful & brings a great vibe to the whole experience
Location was OK.
Check in staff were unhelpful, there are no lifts and many steps so getting bags to the room was an ordeal, the room was tiny with poor facilities, no fridge for example, rootqm had not been properly cleaned, clump of hair on the floor, bathroom doors did not close properly, poor ventilation, room was above kitchen area and noise started at 6.30am. All in all one of the worst hotels at which I have ever stayed. Do not stay there with making sure you have the room well sorted out.
Everything.
Everything!
