Ardboyne Hotel

Food was superb

I booked room a month in advance and asked for accessible room as I was on crutches .. room was accessible as on bottom floor but I couldn’t take a shower as room had a bath I couldn’t get into 🤷‍♀️I contacted reception to be told there is only one room with an accessible shower which was booked out .. as I had booked a month in advance I feel I should have been told this and I would not have booked hotel ..

Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Morgens gab es ein gutes Frühstück. Im Hotelrestaurant konnte man abends spontan und bequem essen gehen. Kostenloses Parken direkt am Hotel war möglich.

Der Frühstücksraum war nicht besonders gemütlich, und der angebotene Kaffee war sehr dünn (auf Nachfrage wurde am nächsten Tag ein stärkerer Kaffee serviert). Die Dusche hatte keinen abnehmbaren Schlauch.

For a 4 star was dissapointed that there was no shower caps, the kettle was over the other side of the room from the kettle, had to plug it in above a bed and sit it on the bed whilst it boiled. There was no iorn or iorning board in room, in most 4 star hotels i have stayed in an iorn and board are just part of the service. The decor was a bit tatty and it was a very dark room as it looked out on to a corridor.

I liked the location of the property adjacent to the towm of Navan and also on the dublin bus route. Navan is a lead-zinc ore mining town that attracts buyers and visitors frpmb all over the world.

The place is very clean and well organised. Their staffs are so welcoming and very good with their job areas. The rooms are well arranged and everything was on point. I really enjoyed everything and my stay there

Si tengo que buscar algo positivo es la cercanía al centro del pueblo y el personal muy disponible.

He pagado la habitación 230 euros y no creo que el precio se corresponde con lo esperado. La habitación tiene un cuarto de baño muy antiguo y que ya puede tener más de 20 años. La limpieza no es satisfactoria. Falta de insonorización porque se escucha todo lo que viene del pasillo y de las habitaciones cercanas. El colchón es muy blando pero debido a que ya ha terminado su vida útil, no porque sea blando, de hecho sonaba muchísimos y no hemos podido descansar.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They couldn't do enough.

Nothing I disliked. Everything was grand just what we needed for our few days.

Very efficient and friendly reception on arrival. Very nice meal in the restaurant and first class breakfast next morning. Bedroom was spacious enough and offered a connecting door to an adjoining room where others in our family were staying on this trip.

We booked a room for 3 people only given one key (Not a big problem asked for a second later). The sheet that was on double bed did not fit bed properly . Only enough towels in room for 2 people .

Some of the staff in the bar are not rude but not overly friendly. The girl who served us put plates down but was looking at the door at the same time. Did not acknowledged us once. But some of the girls were really friendly

Pas d'ascenseur donc attention si personnes âgées. Si le rez-de-chaussée était digne d'un 4 étoiles ce n'était pas le cas de la chambre. Rideaux gris car sales, Rideau de baignoire moisi, tapis de baignoire jaunâtre et moquette tachée.

Die Lage des Hotels hat uns gut gefallen und dass es sauber war. Das Pub war auch ok und ebenso das Essen. Die Betten waren bequem.

Es war viel zu warm und man kann die Fenster nicht richtig öffnen. Es wurde lautstark bis 2 Uhr nachts gefeiert und gegrölt und es wurde nichts dagegen unternommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um 8:00 schon leer und es gab nur noch Eier oder Pancakes. Das Badezimmer war ziemlich runtergekommen. Vom Hof und dem Zimmer unter uns kam der Zigarettenrauch ins Zimmer.

My husband and I liked the contemporary style of the lobby, bar and dining area. The staff were also friendly. We enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast too.

Unfortunately, our room (108) was right next to the main doors entering the bedroom area and so the door kept banging as people were coming in and out. The buttons to flush the toilet were really stiff and there were cracks in the tiles. The shower head could do with being replaced. A couple of the walls in the main room had marks on them and I wasn’t happy with the condition of the bedsheets. The wardrobe door was also damaged on the front. We expected more from a 4 star hotel so a little disappointed but the food and service made up for it. Tip: don’t stay in room 108 and you’ll have a more comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff and very good and reasonably priced food. The room was fine but when we opened the windows the smell of the smokers outside filtered into the room and the toilet had a cistern that didn’t flush well; thus the reason I didn’t give a 5 rating. However would highly recommend this hotel.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did to make our wedding day so special. From the very beginning, you were so helpful, organised, and supportive, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly, and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing everything was in such capable hands. Please also pass on our thanks to all of the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they truly couldn't have done enough for us or our guests. The food was absolutely amazing, and we've had so many compliments from our family and friends about the whole day. Thank you for helping to create such wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. We are so grateful for all of your hard work and dedication, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend your venue to anyone planning their wedding. Location is quite good, but the hotel rooms are very tired and like an oven. We were supplied with a desk fan that was plastic so I requested another one but it was still unbearably hot, the hotel has air-conditioning downstairs in the bar and lobby but none upstairs which is ridiculous. The staff are the saving grace of this hotel, amazing. But the management need to improve the rooms. The evening meals were nice, with a good selection, but nothing amazing. The breakfast was terrible with only a cooked full irish and a yogurt and some fruit on offer, Overall even if the room was cooler I still wouldn't stay here again.

Bei uns im Zimmer war es extrem warm, trotz 2 Ventilatoren . Aber wie hatten auch eine sehr heiße Woche in Irland. Das Personal im Restaurant war lustlos, unaufmerksam. Das Frühstück war etwas langweilig, altmodisch.

A nice quiet hotel, great location for splitting up our journey. Had dinner , and the food was great.

There is really nice outside pod's for drinking and relaxing , could good with a clean or freshing up.

In retrospect, nothing really! At first a few wee things like toiletries in room but actually probably good to have as dispeners from an environmental POV. Although soap one much to far from basin! I didn't like shower head position as couldn't move it and there was no shower cap. Was however warm and good power.

We really appreciated that we could check in early as we needed to get dressed for our wedding

Great location, very clean rooms and bathroom, lovely gardens. The food was excellent, staff were very pleasant and friendly. Overall, it is a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay.

Nothing everything was great

Just finished the most fantastic weekend in the Ardboyne hotel. We attended my sister's wedding which was magical. From start to finish I can not fault the staff, in particular Jo, Teresa and Kealy the ladies went above and beyond in every way to ensure all guests especially bridal party had everything we could possibly need. It is very clear that they are the very best at what they do. Every single guest in attendance said the same thing that the staff were fantastic. From bar and restaurant staff, events team, reception to housekeeping they all went above and beyond. The venue was beautiful, food was fantastic and grounds were stunning for pictures. We can't thank you enough for a Beautiful weekend. We will be back soon,I would not hesitate to recommend the Ardboyne hotel for a wedding or just a relaxing weekend away.

Next time I will request ground floor.gone bit stiff for stairs now.have stayed before and found stairs no trouble but older now .

A group of 30 of us, school bus drivers and there school bus escorts went for breakfast, all very slapdash, first we were sent to a private room (Taylor Suite) then to be told wrong room we were moved to Hugo's, the restaurant. I ordered poached eggs with bacon on toast, comes with tea. I was charged €14.95 for it and the full Irish breakfast was €13.50. No prices on the menu. When I asked about the price I was told it's what the computer says. Honestly you couldn't make it up. I don't know how they got the fourth star, definitely not for their service or there prices. First appearances were very disappointing....the front door has brass panels that are all chipped and worn. The rest of the brass looked as if it was never polished. We were in rooms 109/110 which looked directly into another wing of the hotel. This was separated by a concrete passage which was full of rubbish. There was no natural light in the rooms and window sills full of cobwebs and leaves The bathroom has a soap dispenser placed about a foot away from sink. There were no extras like face clothes body lotion etc. The timber floor in the dining room was dull and sticky. One has to wonder how the hotel earned 4 stars...based on our experience...

I regularly visit the Ardboyne because of its friendly and welcoming vibe. The food is always great, and the staff are unfailing helpful and professional.

Would not recommend at all. We were in Rooms 109/110 where it looks directly across to another extension. In between is a stone coridoor full of rubbish as was our window sills - leaves, cobwebs etc. TV remote control was not working.Advertised were 'toileteries in bathroom '-But all that was provided wasa soap despenser a foot away from wash basin, no face cloth, no moisturiser. Front door is a DISGRACE - brass all peeling and tarnished. Dining room floor dirty looking and sticky.

Nice hotel, service was very good! They tried really hard to make sure you were happy. The room was nice but a little dated, chairs dirty, carpet showing wear. Locate was good for a jumping off point to see the castle of Trim, hills of Tara etc.

Some of the things were just not as clean as I would have preferred. Breakfast one day was terrible and excellent the next!

Beautiful facilities. Lovely garden to have a drink in the sun in. It was my partners birthday and the staff truly made them feel special. The balloons, surprise cake and note were truly thoughtful and beautiful.
