Arena Hotel - Special Class

The staff is very good and the location is very convenient and quiet. Stayed there two years ago and was very pleased so took friends back this time. They all enjoyed the hotel very much.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und herrlicher Aussicht. Das Zimmer war tadellos sauber und das Bad großzügig und neu renoviert. Die Lage war perfekt, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Posizione ottima. Stanza confortevole e spaziosa. Staff molto gentile e disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi esigenza.

After a confusion about the booking price, the matter was resolved with the assistance of the front desk person, the manager and booking.com. Thank you very much to all that helped to resolve the issue. Also thanks to the Arena staff for assistance during our stay and advice on how to reach places we wanted to visit. I will recommend the Arean Hotel anytime.

The qualified staff, they spoke English and we were able to communicate, the hotel very clean, the rooms very clean, the bathrooms very clean, the food very good and everything fresh. This hotel remains our soul place and whenever we return to Turkey, of course we go to the Arena Hotel!! Congratulations to the staff👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

Staff were always extremely helpful, our room was super comfy and the ample breakfast was a great start to the day. It was close to the big 3 attractions in the area. It felt extremely safe and I loved walking around the area at night. The hotel staff were super kind and stored our luggage for half a day before we had to leave for our flight. The late check out was great.

Great location, helpful staff, cleaning services were good, they even folded all our clothes.

The hotel doesn't provide an iron and an ironing board to your room - you need to go downstairs to the laundry room to iron clothes, which is very inconvenient and it's very hot there. The water in our room wasn't refilled after a bottle was initially provided. The bathroom was okay but could be modernised and renovated.

Location

The room was not as good as in the photos. We lived in thei Queen's bedroom. Probably their luxurious room but that room was average. The toilateries were not complete. Found stains on the bed blanket. One of the managers asked us to pay for extra drinking water and ironing the clothes. However, another manager told us not to pay. But paying good money for luxurious room amd then again paying for basic serivices was stressful and annoying.

Location was perfect, breakfast was tasty and plentiful, staff were super pleasant and the room was delightful. I loved it.

Die Lage war gut direkt hinter der Hagia Sofia gelegen. Etwas verwinkelt, daher schlechte Parkmöglichkeiten was aber in Istanbul keine Seltenheit ist.

The reception staff were quite friendly and helpful with their recommendations when asked. The location was near most attractions which was amazing. I had a lovely time staying there and would stay there again.

We had an excellent experience at Arena Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was very comfortable, the rooms were spacious and perfect for our family of four, and the breakfast was amazing. What really made our stay special, however, was the incredible kindness and help from the receptionist and hotel staff. Our flight arrived late, and we had only about 45 minutes to get from the airport to a Bosphorus cruise that we had booked for 8:00 p.m. We were also having internet problems at the airport and could not figure out exactly address where we needed to go. Thankfully, I had arranged our taxi through Booking.com and the hotel. The hotel staff helped identify our cruise booking and communicated with the taxi driver so that he knew exactly where to take us. Everything came together because of their help, and we were able to make our reservation. I was extremely grateful because without their assistance, I am sure we would have missed it. When we were approaching the cruise area a men asked "Are you the guess from Arena Hotel", I have not idea they have been helping us to get there. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The concierge also kept our luggage for us without any problem, which made our day in Istanbul much easier. I would absolutely recommend Arena Hotel, especially to families. Wonderful hospitality, spacious rooms, great breakfast, and most importantly, staff who genuinely went out of their way to help us. Thank you for making our time in Istanbul so memorable! -We did lost my kid white bunny there, but is not the hotel fault ... THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP

La camera non era molto pulita onestamente, c’era molta polvere sotto il letto e nelglu angoli delle pareti. Nelle camere del seminterrato c’era un rumore costante e intenso dovuto all’impianto per il raffreddamento dell’aria. Per chi ha sonno leggero consiglio di portarsi dei tappi da casa!

Ho trascorso un soggiorno fantastico in questo hotel, dal 4 all’11 agosto. *Colazione*: abbondante e super varia, con prodotti freschi ogni giorno. C’è tanta frutta, dolci e anche opzioni salate. Adatta a qualsiasi abitudine culinaria. Si inizia la giornata nel modo migliore! *Personale*: gentilissimo e disponibile. Ci hanno aiutato con consigli e sorrisi dal primo all’ultimo giorno. Si sente che ci tengono. Qualsiasi problema viene risolto velocemente e con praticità. *Camere*: nonostante le stanze standardnon eccessivamentegrandi erano accoglienti, pulite, confortevoli e ben curate. Letto comodo e bagno pulite. *Posizione*: ottima, centrale e vicina a Piazza Sultanahmet.   Perfetta per girare la città a piedi e raggiungere facilmente le principali attrazioni turistiche: da 5 minuti a piedi per le più vicine, fino a 10 minuti per le più lontane.  Sono facilmente raggiungibili anche tutti i mezzo di trasporto pubblico: tram (vicino), treno, metropolitana e battelli (un pò più lontani)  Consigliatissimo! La segunda noche se fue la luz y el hotel puso en marcha un generador de luz toda la noche. No pudimos pegar ojo, el ruido era insoportable (incluso con tapones para los oídos que nos tocó ir a comprar). Encima el olor a gasoil fue insoportable. Fue una noche terrible, y perdimos la mañana siguiente debido al sueño. Ya que no pudimos pegar ojo en toda la noche.

К отелю претензий нет. Надо учитывать что район очень дорогой, потому что туристический и поесть в соседних ресторанчиках и кафешках очень дорого.

El aire acondicionado de la habitación funciona pero no enfría hasta al cabo de un tiempo.

Doručak je veoma dobar i u prijatnom ambijentu. Lokacija je izvrsna. Enterijer je plemenit, autentičan i čist. sobe su komforne. Osoblje je ljubazno i predusretljivo. Vraćam se ovom hotelu, a dolaze i moji prijatelji.

Posizione ottima per chi vuole visitare Istanbul in pochi giorni. A due passi da Piazza Sultanahmet dove si trovano Santa Sofia, Moschea Blu, ecc. Atmosfera molto bella, quartiere di piccole casette e alberghi non troppo grandi. Come ovunque a Istanbul, tantissimi gatti in giro. Vale assolutamente la pena visitare anche la Piccola Santa Sofia, a pochi passi e anche la moschea Sokollu Mehmet Pasha, proprio accanto.

L'arredamento è un po' vetusto (ma nulla di tragico). La colazione poteva essere più ricca e allineata un po' di più anche ai gusti internazionali. Se si prevede di stare parecchi giorni, bisogna considerare che il quartiere non è collegato benissimo con il resto di Istanbul e per prendere un tram (T1) bisogna camminare almeno dieci quindici minuti. Ancora di più per raggiungere linee ferroviarie come Marmara (25 min) o la metro.

Το πρωινό τους ήταν επαρκές, γευστικό, αξιόλογο και καλύπτει μεγάλο μέρος των γεύσεων που μας άρεσαν Το προσωπικό είναι ευγενεστατο και τα δωμάτια πεντακάθαρα Θα το επιλέξουμε σίγουρα ξανά σε επόμενη επίσκεψη στην Πόλη των Πόλεων

amazing location, great staff, good breakfast, and a lovely room! I received a free upgrade from a basement to an upstairs room and it was lovely and airy. The hotel is 5 min behind Sultan Ahmet (the Blue Mosque), but even though it's super close to the downtown tourist area, the street is very quiet and relaxed. There is a small and very beautiful mosque next door so the call to prayer is loud, but only when the windows are open. I saw one review that said the room was too bright, but I didn't have that problem with the outer curtains pulled. All the staff are really friendly and the breakfast is good, not a huge selection because it's not a huge hotel but the quality is good - shoutout especially to the scrambled eggs which were so soft and beautifully cooked. The spa appears to be open on weekdays only - I arrived on Friday and heard other guests discussing the hours that day, but when I asked to use it on Saturday I was told it was closed. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby hamam/spa that I used instead - more expensive but for more services, and you get a free transfer there from Arena. The hotel has a small elevator (2 ppl max, or 1 person with suitcases).

Location is pretty good. Walkable to Blue Mosque. 10-20 minutes away from public transportation.

Very poor quality for price paid. The room as intensely tiny. The furniture was scratched and significantly beat up. The photos showed a bathtub, there definitely was not one. Room as not very sound proof, and you can easily hear other guests, especially in the hallway. The breakfast was terrible- very tiny selection (just cereal, eggs, sausage, bread, and canned vegetables), fruit flies everywhere, on everything, originating from some rotten melon . Out of the three days we stayed, we ate it twice, got nauseous and sick both times, and avoided it the third day. There are several much superior options for the price. We came to stay for our honeymoon, and our disappointment hurt quite a bit. Fortunately, we only had to sleep there and we spent as much time out of the hotel as possible.

It was a fantastic experience in Istambul. Very close to every place I wanted to visit. The room was perfect, clean and the staff very friendly for every question I had.

Közel volt azokhoz a látványosságokhoz, amiket szerettünk volna megnézni. A reggeli bőséges és finom volt. A személyzet nagyon kedvesen segített mindenben, a helyi programokkal, közlekedéssel, információkkal kapcsolatban is. Nagyon készségesen intéztek nekünk mindent.

Nem volt semmilyen problémánk vagy negatív észrevételünk.

Somos una familia de 4 y estuvimos en 2 habitaciones en esquina. Estaba situado muy cerca de la Mezquita Azul. Las habitaciones eran amplias con sillón grande y muy acogedoras, con agua, café y té a nuestra disposición. Todo estaba muy limpio y las toallas olían fenomenal. El camarero del desayuno es muy atento y el buffet bueno. El recepcionista habla español, es muy profesional y te ayuda en todo. Es un hotel con encanto que ha hecho de nuestra estancia una experiencia inolvidable. Muchas gracias.

L'emplacement au cœur du centre historique à 2 pas de la mosquée bleue, des restaurants, commerces, etc... on peut facilement faire le tour de pas mal de points d'intérêts à pied. Le personnel très professionnel, mention spéciale à Suat pour sa sympathie et sa disponibilité. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet, simple mais suffisant.

Un hotel petit, molt a prop d'allò més històric d'Istanbul i ben comunicat. Té l'essència de la ciutat, les instal·lacions molt netes i molt còmodes. L'esmorzar perfecte per començar el dia amb energia en aquesta ciutat. El personal molt amable i sempre donant solucions a les teues consultes, també parlem en castellà , cosa que per al gent de la nostra generació s'agraeix molt.Recomanable al 💯.

Es perfecto. Muy bellos interiores, súper limpio. Realizan la limpieza en la habitación a diario. La ubicación es IDEAL a 6 minutos andando de la mezquita azul y 10 de Hagia Sophia, en pleno centro histórico de Sultanahmet. El desayuno es súper completo y delicioso , las personas que te atienden siempre con una sonrisa. Recepción 24 horas. Habitaciones hermosas.
