Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Clean, basic and pretty comfortable accomodation. All you need and nothing you don't, shower water pressure is wildly good. Lots of parking, close to town center for food options. Basically, this place does what it says on the tin. Would stay again.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Last minute booking, had a couple of requests regarding the booking, which the staff on the phone dealt with. Clean, everything I needed. Just close enough to town to get a short walk for dinner. Heating was on in the room when I got there, so comfortable temperature. Pack of lollies on the bed, nice touch, just not good for my diet :)

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026The room is modern and warm. I appreciate the ease of access, wifi and the incredible water pressure! The bed is comfy and the candy is a nice touch!
The walls seem pretty thin unfortunately, as I could hear everything the lady in #2 was saying on her call (clearly so could the lady in #1 as she had to go ask her to be quieter!). The pillows could be fatter but that's just personal preference.

The room itself is nice, and it is clear the owners made some effort to make it feel more homely and less like just another motel room. Would highly recommend staying here. Good value for money too.
Liked everything, just missed access to streaming services apps. Only free tv channels available.

Sometimes a bit of traffic noise at odd times and can hear people going up and down the stairs. We find it a convenient location when visiting family. We were in Unit No. 5 - did appreciate the block out blind - shuts out any reflection from security lights etc.

Quite small. We sat on the bed to watch the TV. Difficult to read in bed…..one lamp on a side table. No shelving in the bathroom. ….. therefore a lot of stuff on the floor.No staff on site…run remotely. No hot plate.

Facilities very clean, beds comfortable, rooms warm good size, kitchenette allowed us to make hot drinks and snacks. Did not meet with owners but communication was prompt and helpful. Will recommend Hibernian to others.

Bed was pretty hard was tossing and turning all night but not a big issue each to their own. Big problem is there was a rancid smell like rotting food the whole time we were there had to keep bathroom closed and window open. smelled like it was coming from there.

Near supermarket.Location was about 15 minutes walk to centre .we arrived over the easter break so most shops and restaurants were closed.Had good food and drink at the Bay overlooking the beach and gardens. Nice touch having a pack of sweets to greet our arrival.
Bed was a little to firm for our liking .

Thin walls so could hear other guests both sides, one side which kept me awake somewhat and woke me up early. No airconditioning and room was quite warm, partly my fault for not realising there was a radiator turned on. Noisy fridge, but that was easy to turn off.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026The location was handy to town although not particularly exciting! The apartment was lovely and clean, and contained everything that we needed. We had the afternoon sun so that was very pleasant to come back to in the early evening.
There were venetian blinds in the apartment, and because there was a street lamp just below it, the apartment was not very dark at night which meant that I found it difficult to sleep.

We only had one bedside table & lamp was very disappointed their were two of us for godsake it’s standard fixture & fittings of accommodation for a couple we also had to hut for another comfy chair again two of us very disappointed their considering the staff were so nice to assist us and as for your poor excuse about the stink from your grey water tank we are not stupid it’s been like that for quite awhile fix it & stop with the bullshit stories we won’t be back
