Fabulous location. Very clean tidy and well maintained unit. Gorgeous big spa bath. Modern and warm.

The road noise from trucks is unavoidable. Did not bother me as im a heavy sleeper. The unit itself makes up for any traffic sounds.

Always enjoy Timaru, a really nice provincial town. Always welcoming, great choice of places to eat and drink. Caroline Bay has a great beach-side walkway, but the shingle beach gets you in touch with nature, the thunder of the sea!

Nothing to complain about at all. Even have free council parking, shopping good, great bars/restaurants, would be churlish to complain! Get yourself there!

Absolutely the best hosts, nothing was a problem. Thats why we keep going back!

The noise from the road in the studio rooms . It’s so loud and annoying . And there is a train that passes . All night randomly .

Bathroom run down. There was no double glazing. Very noisy on the street hard to get sleep. The windows in the unit were dripping wet. Especially in the room with two singles. The heads of the beds were right against the window with wet windows.

Convenient location

Middle of winter, it would be nice if the hosts put the heater on so we walked into a nice warm room instead of an ice box

Location was good, close to town and dinner places.

The room we were given was very odd, the room literally was on the footpath of the main road, no privacy and the road noise was terrible. No balcony and no view other than the street.

Was centrally located. Despite being by a very busy road, rooms were quiet enough to get some sleep. Beds were comfortable and having a nice bath in each room was a bonus. Good little lounge space for families in our unit. Great to be able to get a good selection and SKY on the TV. So many accommodations are only offering streaming these days which is a pain.

Some of the lights were not working. TV seemed to be set on one volume - could not make it go quieter or louder so not sure if this was a remote problem.

Our stay at Panorama Motor Lodge was excellent. The location is superb and very convenient, with easy access to everything we needed. It is also located close to the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing stay.

There were no blinds in the bathroom which even with blurred glass was a bit uncomfortable as the next room had to walk closely past to get to their room. There were brackets so I assume there were blinds once upon a time. But when I looked from outside I could see my toiletries on the sink. With the light on I would imagine it would be worse.

The location was great and very convenient. The accommodation itself was comfortable and tidy, making it an easy place to stay for the night.

The room did not have air conditioning, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Parking was also limited, particularly for larger vehicles. It was quite noisy overnight, even when using ear plugs.

We liked the flexibility of arriving late. The convenience of restaurants is great.

The apartment size was nice, with own living area and balcony also closeness to restaurants

Good location. Easy to find. The room was set out well with a great shower. Parking was excellent.

The bed was super hard, quite uncomfortable. Room was very warm with no air con, there was a fan but it was not affective. Had to turn the fridge off in the night as it was very noisy.

The unit was supplied with all essential kitchen facilities. Everything that is needed to provide comfortable accommodation.

In my case the bed was a little soft but I have back problems but that would not be a concern for most visitors

Great location and just so clean. Forgot how good quality the bed linen was and it makes a difference when you have staid in a few other motels. Nice touches like that make all the difference . Looking forward to my next stay

The bathroom could do with a freshen up- the toilet was noisy refilling and the extraction fan noisy ( it couldnt be not turned on as connected to bathroom light)

Friendly welcome and very helpful, the room was super clean and it was great to have a sea view and to be able to sit on the balcony to enjoy the sunshine and city vibes. The photos don’t do the place justice and we would definitely return and stay again.

The location is amazing, right on the the Bay Hill for a morning beach walk, but also handy to the restaurants and bars.

The bathroom had a terrible smell, I have rated comfort lower because of that awful smell.

Ontbijt zelf verzorgen. Om de hoek accommodaties om te ontbijten, lunchen en of dineren . Dicht bij strand van pinguïns. Sauna in de kamer.

Buitenzijde was de kamer uit, de gang en straat op om vervolgens op je " balkon" te kunnen zitten.

Location to Facilities

The first place I ever stayed where they dont provide small shampoo or conditioner. Now need to remind myself to take this with me if this is and emerging trend. The bed was exceptionally hard

Liked the room and the views . I think.you need to have instructions on how to.operate the heaters which didn't look that easy to run. It would have been nice to have a few wee things such as shampoo, soap, body lotion, just adds a bit of something special when u go to stay somewhere.

Electric blanket would have been good, and also bedlight didn't work on one side of the bed, in fact looked a little unsafe.

Excellent location, great views over Caroline Bay from our room and close to some great eating spots.

Unit was very tired in places, efforts have been made to modernise some parts so hope it's an ongoing project

Great location with restaurants and shops nearby. We were lucky to have rooms looking towards the sea and had a great view of a concert held just across the road. Large balcony and a sitting room also. We ate at Pier 64 after being given vouchers for free drinks at reception. Great food too.

Gute Lage mit Sicht auf die Bucht. Praktisch mit Parkplatz vor der Tür. Aus irgendeinem Grunde haben meine Frau und ich besonders gut geschlafen.

Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber noch in Ordnung.

The extractor fan over the oven. It held the smell of what was being cooked making the room smell like something was burning.

The bed was a bit hard for us and there was no tea towel or dish cloth… possibly because someone missed putting them out… not dislikes but not able to leave the property as we would have liked
