The service rivals that of European hotels; if all hotels in the Kingdom followed the example set by The Chedi, there would be no need to travel abroad for luxury, as every comfort and amenity is available right here.

An exceptional stay and the highlight of my first visit to Saudi Arabia. The team made my birthday incredibly special with thoughtful surprises, a room upgrade and outstanding service throughout. Every member of staff remembered my name, the breakfast was excellent, the spa treatment was one of the best I’ve had, and the experiences were beautifully organised. They even created a personalised itinerary, helped with transport, prepared a packed lunch for my excursion and arranged a wonderful evening by the fire pit. Although still in its soft opening, the service was already world-class. I can’t wait to return later this year.

الفندق مميز جدا ورائع، ولكن غلو أسعار بعض المنتجات بشكل مبالغ فيه قليلا مثلا أسعار المنتجات التي بالغرفة سعرها مبالغ فيه

From the moment I arrived, all of the staff were amazing, helpful and attentive. The unique location and the views from the rear patio were out of this world. I really appreciated the included safari tour, attention to detail throughout my stay and the availability of bicycles to explore the area

It appears that they are in the process of building new facilities and whilst I could see that they were trying to reduce the impact as much as possible, it would have been nice to know about this ahead of arriving

حين حجزت لصديقي هذه الإقامة، لم أكن أتوقع أن أسمع منه ذلك الانبهار. أخبرني أن التجربة لم تكن مجرد إقامة، بل رحلة متكاملة داخل عالم مختلف. أكثر ما علق في ذهنه هو تلك الجولة داخل المحمية؛ حيث قادهم دليل الرحلة باحترافية عالية، متنقلين بين مشاهد طبيعية ساحرة جعلتهم يعيشون لحظات لا تُنسى. قال لي: “كانت تجربة تُروى… وليست فقط تُعاش.”

Beyond expectation

It’s a very relaxing place . Outdoor spaces and spa are beautiful. The stuff is very kind and attentive . The breakfast is great . It’s very peaceful .

The room (at least in my category) was a little small and dark. The outdoor space is beautiful and big though. It’s a little far away location wise.

The staff were so kind and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. The location is excellent for access to Hegra and the free wildlife tour was brilliant.

It will be even better when the big pool is open! Currently they only have the spa pool which is quite small.

Luxurious and exceptional service…safari was interesting for our toddlers…heated pool outside the room was a big plus..bonfire outside the room was also a nice experience..

Rooms have tight corridors due to the fact that they are an unesco world heritage site and cannot be expanded…

La chambre les parties communes

L'hôtel fait la pub de sa piscine extérieure: c'est un mensonge. La piscine est en cours de construction et ne sera ouverte que dans quelques mois. Quand on paye aussi cher, c'est juste inadmissible. Je me suis plaint. L'hôtel me promet une compensation, ca fait 1 mois que j'attends et que je relance.

Sehr schönes, neu eröffnetes Hotel. Lage im alten Bahnhof von Hegra, unmittelbar neben den Ausgrabungsstätten. UNESCO Weltkulturerbe. Kann mit dem Fahrrad befahren werden. Ein Leihwagen ist dringend empfohlen, um sich die Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Hegra, incl. Al Ula anzuschauen. Gut ausgestattete Zimmer, schöne, bequeme Betten, freundliches Personal. 10/10

The f&b experience wasnt great.

Great location, right next to the Hegra site, outstanding view. Beautiful garden, perfectly tended. Very good to have bicycles available for guests given the size of the properties and the itineraries around

On the other hand, bicycles logistics can be improved. Our bikes came with flat tires and saddle height that could not be fixed easily, a special tool was needed. Once the bike was OK, if we left the unattended, say while we were at the restaurant, somebody pick them up, and the bikes were gone. No problem, management produced new bikes, but then, we had to start over, with flat tires and saddle to be fixed.

Absolutely obsessed with this hotel. They did absolutely beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Let’s start with the location, omg you literally next to Hegra temples and it’s a short bike ride accessible anytime so we enjoy the sunset alone without any crowds in the desert. The place is super comfortable clean amazing design and very high quality. Food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant’s architecture is a masterpiece. The best part is that we were celebrating my husbands birthday and they not only decorated the entire room but also left a cake and chocolates for us. We really enjoyed every second of the stay and couldn’t recommend it more. We will be back soon! ❤️

Prijzen in het restaurant zijn veel te hoog! Bijna €20 voor een mixed juice is over the top.

Desayuno excepcional, el lugar increíble, la habitación comodísima (única pega las escaleras si alguien tiene problemas pra subirlas), lo de las bicicletas y el safari me encantó, la cercanía a las tumbas nabateas de ensueño (lástima que no se pueda entrar a verlas nada más que a una para protegeerlas), el detalle en la habitación con el plato de fruta y los chocolates delicioso. El restaurante del hotel increíble. La atención del personal inmejorable. Repetiría sin duda y lo recomiendo 100%.

Por decir algo, las escaleras para subir a la habitación, pero incluso te suben las maletas y la vista en la habitación de arriba lo vale.

Very special hotel and site. The team is very welcoming and efficient. The cinerary is exceptional. The location is perfect to visit the archeological sites. All together it is an experience.

Some parts are still under contructions, pool, fitness, second restaurant. It will be even better when all will be finished

المرافق حتى الان غير متاحة ولم يتم تعريفنا على قصة الفندق بس وصلنا اكتشفنا القصة آخر يوم عن طريق الصدفة موظفين الاستقبال يحتاجون تدرب اكثر واعتقد انه مكان استثنائي، جميع السياكل الصغيرة معطله ولم يتم اجراء صيانة لها القهوة السعودية كل ماجينا في اوقات مختلفة غير متوفرة

The hotel is amazing! But the staff was so so so good!!! They really tru to make you happy! They even help me getting to my next hotel in th e Red Sea!!!! I went to the spa( me and my 4 yo son), such a good experience. The safari was very good!!! The food in restaurant and breakfast is amazing!!!

Welcome Desk ist ziemlich weit von der Reception entfernt (was man beim ersten Touchpoint gar nicht versteht); sehr weitläufiges Areal, grosse Distanzen zwischen Zimmer und Restaurant, sehr kleines Zimmer (für diesen Preis), fehlende Ablageflächen, es ist noch einiges zu verbessern bis zur effektiven Eröffnung

La posizione, l’attenzione al cliente, la colazione e in generale il Ristorante, davvero eccezionale.

Nulla tutto perfetto

Location, actually inside Hegra, is incredible. The hotel loan bikes which you can use to cycle around Hegra. I even ran the route one morning (although I was asked where I was going by a puzzled member of park staff) The rooms have been well created in the old railway buildings as has the restored maintenance shed which now houses the main restaurant.

Breakfast appeared to waste a lot of food. Fruit, pastries, cheese, bread all delivered as standard before then choosing from the menu. Parking is a long way from the hotel as are the rooms and require constant use of the buggies or a long walk. They were in soft opening phase and will have a pool and better variety of restaurants in due course…give it a few months yet if you want the full experience.

- the staff deserve 10/10 / particularly Yasir, Abdualla and Lama who were beyond exceptional in everything they did

- Would’ve loved bigger pool and gym which I know they are working on so looking forward to trying it next time

I want to commend the staff at the gates, reception, restaurant, room service, wildlife tour, etc , for their hospitality amd professionalism. I could not think of any areas of improvment relating to the hotel.

Das Frühstück und der Schokoladeteller am Zimmer waren das Einzige, was dem völlig überzogenen Preis des Hotels einigermaßen adäquat war. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals wird leider völlig überdeckt von seiner absoluten Inkompetenz, ja Ahnungslosigkeit. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn ich nur irgendeine belastbare Antwort erhalten hätte - in einem Hotel, wo ich für einen Espresso umgerechnet € 17,- bezahle! Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise wäre auch sinnvoller gewesen, wenn man nicht NACH der Buchung des Zimmers und der Abholung vom Flughafen, ein Email mit der Frage erhielte zu welcher Uhrzeit man am Tag VOR der Anreise eintreffen würde! Das kann jeder Vermieter eines Ziegenstalls besser!

Der Preis ist eine Unverschämtheit, vor allem in Anbetracht, dass das Hotel eine einzige Baustelle ist. Bei der Ankunft festzustellen, dass sogar die Wüste in der Umgebung in eine scheußliche Baustelle verwandelt wurde und sich dann eine halbe Stunde lang anhören zu müssen, was das Hotel alles zu bieten hätte, wenn es mal fertig ist, ist frustrierend. Ganz abgesehen davon, dass der Bau einer riesigen Poollandschaft mitten in der arabischen Wüste an sich pervers ist. Ebenso wie die Umwandlung eines Denkmals wie des letzten Wüstenbahnhofs der Hedschas-Bahn in ein gesichtsloses Hotel. Die Zimmer bestehen aus einigen, viel zu kleinen Räumen, einem verplanten Bad und einer Terrasse mit Baustellenausblick.

The property is esthetically exceptional! The hotel staff are friendly and their attention to detail when dealing with them in person is World class.

When booking via the booking.com platform the communication from the property was not optimal. The guest should not have to double check everything and be inconvenienced. This area of the operation needs attention as it does not meet the required standard.

The transportation from the welcome lobby to the hotel rooms and facilities need enhancement for quicker service.

موقع الفندق شمال منطقة الحجر الحلو انه قريب من المحميات واثار الحجر والغراميل والمرايا .. لكن بالنسبه لوسط العلا والبلده القديمه يعتبر بعيد حبتين
