Shaden Resort Al Ula, Managed by Accor

I love the place and other facilities because everything is near to our room.

I went there last week of August 2025 with our VP and what I didn't like now when I came back is the breakfast settings. Honestly, last year's breakfast buffet is so good with basket of bread unlike now, it looks like regular hotel breakfast like 4 stars below. I went also to Our Habitas and their breakfast is really so special. I love Shaaden but you can go better if you improve the breakfast buffet. Have some electric bike as well to have adventures for guests.

Shaden was a truly unique experience. This hotel has everything you could wish for: comfort, breathtaking views, delicious food, and incredibly helpful staff.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

The resort is newly built. About a 15 minute drive from Al Ula. It is located at the base of the mountains, providing excellent scenery. The resort is very quiet and peaceful, with a lovely swimming pool and plenty more facilities. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. A good buffet breakfast is also provided. The resort is an 8 minute drive from the elephant rock and about 15/20 from Hegra.

Unbelievable location. Breathtaking views.

This is possibly the most stunning resort I’ve ever stayed in, nestled in gorgeous peaks with easy access, almost all attractions in the area. The staff were great, especially the Indian national managing the restaurant.

The local receptionists do not adhere to Booking.com reservation details. Luckily other staff in the hotel were able to ensure that we receive what we paid for.

위치가 너무 좋아요 코끼리 바위 바로 옆이라서 밤늦게까지 있다가 바로 숙소 들어왔어요. 리조트 안에서도 풍경을 즐길 수 있고 리조트 안에서 즐길 수 있는 것도 많아요. 비수기엔 숙소를 업그레이드 시켜주시나봐요. 운 좋게 업글 받았어요

숙소 내에서 화장실 환기가 완벽하지가 않은지 아주 살짝 냄새가 올라오는데 신경쓸만한 것은 아니었고 전체적으로 깨끗하고 깔끔한 숙소였습니다.

Truly outstanding and unique! Extremely attentive staff (including Mohamed - manager). Setting with the desert rocks offers fab views and tranquility. Facilities excellent, including pool, gym/spa, outdoor cinema (different movie every night) and Arabic seating for complimentary tea, coffee and Arabic sweets. Breakfast food great quality, and options for lunch and dinner too. Rooms extremely comfortable, well kept, and have a private patio. Location is near must-sees sights - including the fabulous restoration of historic areas of the Old Town, Oasis Trail, Hegra tombs, Maraya mirrored building (biggest in the world), Elephant Rock, and Harrat viewpoint. All accessible by shuttle bus (seasonal) or cheap local taxis. Cost was extremely reasonable, and we were even provided with a free room upgrade! We cannot recommend this hotel enough - ideal for couples and families, either for a sightseeing holiday or for relaxation.

AMAZING. Wow. What a place. The setting is stunning. The facilities are fantastic. The staff are very friendly. Pool is great. Spa facilities and gym are lovely. The outdoor cinema was superb, such a great touch. Breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. Free parking outside your room. Buggy services to get around the resort. Coffee and tea area in the evening is very relaxing. I would recommend to anyone visiting AlUla, to rent a car on arrival. Shaden Resort is a short 10 minute drive to Elephant Rock and similar distance to get into the Old Town. One of the best locations I have ever been, simply stunning everywhere you look.

Admittedly, we visited during quiet season and whilst the service was friendly, we felt as though the staff could have been more attentive. For a 4 star resort, you would expect some sort of service around the pool but we received none. The service in the restaurant was ok.

The place is beautiful. Staff are very accomodating, from the receptionist Malak, shuttle driver ganesh.. and even to the waitress in their restaurant Hazel and Charice. They even have sky cinema. It was such a good experience. I will definely come back

It’s one of those famous luxury hotels that you see on the social media but with a fair price. People are so nice!! Reception, pool, restaurant, transfer… everyone was really really nice. De room is beautiful, big and the bed is so comfortable. I’ll be back for sure

الأسرة كانت صغيرة ما استطعت اخذ راحتي بالنوم ، لا شاحن للجوال في عدة اماكن فقط منطقة وحدة ، الجلسة الخارجية لا يوجد خصوصية اتمنى وضع حواجز بين الغرف للجلسات الخارجية

La manutenzione non mi ha soddisfatto. La struttura può essere tenuta meglio anche in termini di pulizia delle camere.

This a cheaper alternative to the other resorts in AlUla, but still in a beautiful location. The health club, pool area and rooms were all comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both good, and the restaurant has a nice little play area for children. Lots of space in the grounds of the property too. Staff were all very kind and helpful.

Very slow service by the pool - this clearly needs some development. Limited shade in the pool too. Whilst the play area in the restaurant is a really nice addition, lots of the toys were broken so I would say this needs some work. The pool, restaurant and rooms were all quite spread out, so it was difficult to walk around the property in the heat with a pram. The property could also use a changing table in the dining area, since it’s likely to attract more families to this resort.

Food. Under par choice for a 4 star. Another restaurant and more options are a must. And staff must be better trained at explaining what is available.

The location is unmatched in Al Ula if you have your own car. It’s stunning. The restaurant is amazing. The night cinema is a very special experience.

The entrance was bumpy, my wife was pregnant and it was hard on her.

The desert horizon rooms are very far away from the pool and other amenities. The reception doesn’t provide you with a detailed map, only a small map with no details. Housekeeping didn’t refill the body wash and even after we asked, they didn’t bring it.

Beautiful scenery. I visited other hotels in the AlUla area, and although this one is not the most expensive, it is definitely the best in terms of location and charm. In the evening, it looks far better than all the other hotels nearby. I would definitely recommend this place. You can drive your rental car directly to your room. There is a nice large pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. The room offers a beautiful view and a pleasant outdoor seating area.

The pool service and overall facilities management are poor. There is usually only one person attending the pool area, but they are not allowed to sell or even hand you a bottle of water directly. Instead, they have to call a waiter, and you then need to wait for the waiter to arrive, take the order, and finally deliver something as simple as cold water or a soft drink — which can take up to 30 minutes. It makes no sense. The pool staff should simply be able to provide water and charge it to the room within five minutes, especially since there is already a refrigerator at the pool area. The waiter service is also weak. Staff members often do not speak English properly and sometimes bring food or drinks different from what was ordered. You can order food to the pool, but it may arrive in stages, for example without glasses for the drinks. The staff seems poorly trained and the service standard is very low. At one point, staff simply came and switched off the music at the pool without saying a word, informing guests, or even asking anyone. Another unacceptable issue was seeing staff use guest towels to wipe the pool floor like cleaning cloths, only for similar washed towels to be handed back to guests the next day. This behavior is quite shocking. The staff clearly requires much better training, discipline, and supervision. Although the pool itself is very nice and the location has great potential, the service level is far below what should be expected from a leisure or resort-style hotel.
