Nuestra experiencia en Casa dos Arcos fue muy negativa y, sobre todo, completamente inaceptable por un problema de higiene que no debería ocurrir en ningún alojamiento: encontramos chinches en la habitación. Durante nuestra estancia sufrimos picaduras y posteriormente pudimos comprobar que había chinches en la cama. No estamos hablando de una simple molestia o de un insecto aislado, sino de un problema que afecta directamente a la higiene, la salubridad y la tranquilidad de los huéspedes. Lo más grave, además de encontrarnos en esta situación durante unas vacaciones, fue la gestión del alojamiento ante el problema. Consideramos que la respuesta recibida no estuvo a la altura de la gravedad de lo ocurrido ni de lo que cabe esperar de un establecimiento que recibe huéspedes y cobra por ofrecer unas condiciones adecuadas de alojamiento. Una habitación con chinches es algo especialmente serio porque, además de las picaduras, existe el riesgo de llevar estos insectos y sus huevos en el equipaje y trasladarlos posteriormente a nuestra casa. Esto convierte el problema en algo que puede tener consecuencias incluso después de abandonar el alojamiento. No recomendamos en absoluto este alojamiento mientras no se garantice que el problema ha sido solucionado mediante una desinsectación profesional y una revisión exhaustiva de las habitaciones. La limpieza y la ausencia de plagas deberían ser requisitos básicos. Una experiencia que nos arruinó la estancia y que consideramos totalmente impropia de un alojamiento que se anuncia en Booking.

La limpieza,atención,es un lugar muy cómodo ,y es digno de admirar por su historia y el cuidado que tuvieron al convertirlo en hospedaje al mantener su esencia ...un 10

Un solo baño para una pieza de 8 personas que tenía la ducha y el baño juntos.

La struttura è in pieno centro ad Albufeira, in una villa insospettabile ma con degli interni pazzeschi!

Très bien situé et établissement très calme.

Pas de climatisation dans la chambre, seulement un ventilateur qui faisait beaucoup de bruit. Dommage de nous avoir proposé une chambre près de la cuisine car nous entendions les personnes qui faisaient la cuisine.

This Guesthouse was one of the best iv ever stayed in! Beautiful inside and the small garden area outside was very pretty. Very much appreciated the kettle in the room too

Infested with bed bugs. Got bitten all over my body. What made matters worse is I reached out to them and got a pathetic response

Logement très très bien placé dans le centre ville. Permet d’accéder au centre ou à la plage en moins d’une minute. La maison est très belle. Le personnel est très sympa ! Très proches des bars mais aucun bruit dans la chambre.

Personnel très agréable, la dame de ménage m’a même plié mon pyjama et mon doudou pour le mettre sous l’oreiller, alors un grand merci à elle, une dame fabuleuse. Localisation au top. Un lieu vraiment magnifique et conviviale.

Il peut faire chaud dans les chambre, mais il y a à disposition des ventilateurs.

Muito precário. Além disso, não tinha tranca no quarto, não tinha cortina nas camas e estava muito quente e só tinham ventiladores (que não estavam dando conta)

Tudo, chuveiro muito ruim, nao tem ar condicionado, quarto extremamente quente. Mandei mensagem para recepção perguntando sobre transfer para o aeroporto meses antes porque eles colocam no anuncio que tem transfer, eles me confirmaram que tinha disponível no horario e data que passei. Chegando la, o recepcionista mal ajudou a agendar um.

Mi piace talmente tanto questo posto che sto facendo la recensione ancora in camera. Zona centralissima, ma non sotto la movida quindi si dorme bene. A 5 minuti a piedi c'è il mare, la villa ha delle zone in comune che sembrano un museo, lo sceglierei altre mille volte per la location. La stanza è enorme, letto comodo e doccia grande

Scomodo arrivarci con le valigie perché i parcheggi liberi sono a piedi 6/7 minuti (in salita). La cappa del bagno aspira poco, bisogna lasciare la porta aperta per fare girare l'aria

Estavam a fazer obras ao lado do hotel pelo que no dia que cheguei não havia pressão na água e no dia que saí não havia água de todo. Teria sido agradável/sensato avisar do corte de água para evitar despejar o autoclismo com um garrafão...

Nous avons ADORE.... Un endroit magique et d un charme fou.... Nous avions réservé la chambre complètement par hasard et avons été subjugué par l endroit des notre arrivée .. Merci aux hôtes d' avoir conçu un tel lieu ...nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour un séjour plus long

Estuve toda la estancia sin agua en todo el complejo y no me dieron una solución

Super zentral gelegen Haus mit historischem Charme. Sehr saubere und gut organisierte Gemeinschaftsküche. Tolles Frühstück mit bezaubernden Damen im empfohlenen (Partner-)Café. Genug Handtücher und Badetücher. Vielen Dank an Carlos (er ist abends an der Rezeption) und seine Infos!!

Morgens/tagsüber war die Rezeption zwar auch besetzt, aber bei dem Herrn habe ich etwas Freundlichkeit und positive Energie vermisst. Wie bekannt, keine Klimaanlage - kann etwas stickig werden.

Es war eine sehr außergewöhnliche Unterkunft und noch beeindruckender als auf den Fotos.

Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage wodurch es nachts heiß & laut war mit offener Balkontür. Aber es gab einen Ventilator.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and was a fantastic location. The building itself was beautiful and had some history. The ability to use the kitchen facility to keep drinks cold was great and there was a kettle in the room to make coffee or tea. I was recommend booking this place, as it had everything you could need.

La struttura è centralissima e si può visitare tutto tranquillamente a piedi. 😊 L’edificio è un po’ datato ma è quello che lo rende affascinante… ci sono ricordi della famiglia, sembra come essere ospitati in una casa privata! Il patio per la colazione fantastico! 💜 La macchina si può parcheggiare con un po’ di fortuna anche molto vicino… 😉

Non c’è aria condizionata ma solo ventilatori. Ma non è stato un problema… certo siamo state a giugno! 😊

Localização excelente! Casa histórica com 250 anos. 3 minutos da praia e 1 minuto da principal rua da vida noturna. Ótimo!

Excelente localização mesmo frente à praia do túnel. Na recepção um funcionário que foi muito simpático e fez um tour pela casa e foi mostarr onde ficava o meu quarto.Estava tudo muito limpo e organizado. Meu quarto era misto com 8 camas e tinha casa de banho dentro do quarto com papel higiénico e lenços de papel para maquinagem, gel de banho e shampoo e liquido para as mãos e secador . Tinha duas ventoinhas e uma janela para a rua .Cama estava com lençóis limpos e manta também. Cozinha equipada com tudo para quem quer cozinhar, com micro ondas e fogão e dois frigoríficos e oferecem vários chás e café. Tem um pequeno terraço acolhedor e casas de banho por perto também que estiveram sempre limpas.

No bar, and the shared spaces were not very welcoming but were a little stuffy (keeping with the history of the building I suppose). There was only one bathroom with a shower for the full room of 8 people. No curtains on the beds and since a lot of people come back drunk late at night that would be helpful.

Antica dimora elegante e distinta in posizione centrale offre spazi comuni elegantemente arredati con stile e camere suite con bagno privato spaziose. E' tutto perfettamente pulito! Accoglienza eccezionale e massima disponibilita' All' esterno un giardino con tavoli piante e uno spazio ombreggiato ! Un salotto esterno!! Spero di poter tornare per una vacanza piu' lunga!!

Emplacement!!! Sur une rue piétonne d’Albufeira, à 2 mins de marche de la plage, sans être dans le coin bruyant des bars Propreté Charme et cachet de l’établissement Petite terrasse et cuisine partagée tout équipée que nous avons très apprécié Amabilité du réceptionniste

Il faut prendre en compte qu’il n’y a aucune clim, seulement un ventilateur. Aussi, c’est une genre d’auberge de jeunesse avec des dortoirs, alors ça peut être bruyant quand les autres clients rentrent en fin de soirée. Il faut garder en tête qu’Albufeira est LA ville de party en Algarve!

I had bed bugs ! All my body was attacked ! They told me it was the third time this has occurred this year and they did not do anything about it !!!!!!!! My all body is itching ! This place should be shut down until they treat it properly you cannot do that to people ! I hope this place will be removed from booking ! Also it is really impossible to sleep as noisy as hell , people drunk at night in the patio that has no surveillance during the night !

Guesthouse in pieno centro della città ma una via molto tranquilla e silenziosa di notte. Vicino a molti bar, ristoranti e negozietti. A 3 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e a 1 minuto dalla piazza centrale. La casa è una dimora storica, molto bella e con arredamenti che raccontano la sua autenticità. La nostra camera era spaziosa con utensili dove poter appoggiare gli effetti personali. Una piccola finestra e dotata di ventilatore. Nell’edificio ci sono aree comuni come la cucina, dotata di tutti i comfort e gli utensili, molto spaziosa ed esteticamente molto bella, c’era anche una sala dove potersi rilassare o mangiare. Una bellissima corte interna dove c’erano dei tavoli e un bagno di servizio. Al nostro arrivo Carlos ci ha accolto in maniera impeccabile, con grande cordialità ci ha spiegato ogni informazione utile e ci ha mostrato nei dettagli l’abitazione. A 5 minuti a piedi è presente un parcheggio gratuito dove noi abbiamo lasciato l’auto, consiglio di non portare bagagli pesanti perché la strada per arrivarci è ripida. Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole!!

Beautiful building in a fab location so close to the beach. Close to lots of entertainment too but not noisey! Clean, comfortable, very lovely terrace. Always someone at reception. The communal kitchen was well organised, clean and tidy, no issues leaving our food in there.

No Aircon, we knew this when we booked and thought the provided fan would be fine however it was very stuffy at night. Also very low lighting which was fine 99% of the time but a little tricky when I was getting ready to attend a wedding! Would recommend they add some hooks on the bathroom as there was no-where to hang towels.

Me gustó la ubicación. Aunque no tienen aire acondicionado y si abres la ventana no puedes dormir del ruido.

Demasiado ruido dentro y fuera del alojamiento. Tienen habitaciones compartidas y la entrada de gente es hasta altas horas haciendo mucho ruido.

Great location! very central in old town and very close to the beach. Staff was very very kind and helpful with anything we needed.

Cette hôtel est une vieille maison, cela a beaucoup de cachet et de charme. La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous avons accès à un patio qui est très agréable et joli ainsi qu'à une cuisine équipée. Bien que situé dans une zone centrale très animée, cet hôtel est très calme. Le personnel est très agréable également.

Emplacement hyper central +++ Guest house avec du charme et du cachet, on apprécie la taille de la chambre et la sdb privative, chambre tres propre, literie confortable, super séjour passé ici 😊

Très beau lieu avec un mobilier tout aussi joli et lit en dortoir confortable. L'emplacement est optimal, près de la plage et des commerces. Le soir on entend la musique des lieux de fête mais ce n'était pas trop dérangeant selon moi. J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour sur place. Les températures restent agréables en cette saison 😎

Location was great. We were a little shocked at the nightlife/ scene so near this area but it was no issue at night as things seemed to be quiet in this street at a reasonable time. Property itself was so unique. Really enjoyed the older feel and unique vibes.

It could have been slightly cleaner but again given the age etc we were happy overall.

Staff is very very lovely… You are in the center of Albufeira and you have many resturants and shops immedatly when you walk on the street. In the evening its not noisy at all! The house alone is so lovely its 300years old and it has kitchen and dining room, garden and living room and then the rooms where you sleep in. Such a positive experience everything is clean and the beds are comfy. (you get free wifi)

I didn’t like that our first two nights at the hotel were canceled after we had booked it before the beginning of 2026. No air conditioning, not sure I would want this hotel room in the summer.

Lo más destacable, es la atención , idoneidad, y cordialidad del personal de Recepción. Excelente el desempeño de las trabajadoras encargadas de la limpieza y el orden de las instalaciones. Muy interesante la ambientación y decoración. Buena ubicación con respecto a las playas.

El colchón de mí litera en habitación compartida era Muy incómodo para poder dormir y descansar bien. Sugiero invertir un poco de dinero en instalar cortinas en las literas , tanto para evitar luminosidad como para tener un poco de mínima eserva o intimidad al sre habitación compartida Mixta.

Casa ottocentesca nel pieno centro di Albufeira che sembra essere un po' aliena al resto della città (in senso positivo) È un' oasi di pace in mezzo al caos di Albufeira. Gli ambienti sono magnifici e la cura per i dettagli è maniacale. Tutto è a disposizione degli ospiti e l' ampia cucina è fornitissima. Una volta arrivati è stato davvero un peccato uscire perché meriterebbe un po' di tempo al suo interno per gustare al meglio la meraviglia.

L' unico difetto che posso trovare a questa struttura è il non poter arrivare direttamente davanti con la macchina, ma si possono trovare parcheggi molto vicino.
