Everything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfortable.

Very clean and well maintained. Great activity options like hiking, yoga and massages but have to pre-book in advance as facilitators need to be called in for them. The rooms are exactly as pictured - very aesthetic, minimal but functional. There’s great wildlife on the farm and in surrounding areas. You can also take a 10 min trip to the Lion and Rhino Reserve for a game drive. The reception was really accommodating with creating an itinerary based on the activities we wanted to do and also arranged a shuttle service and booked the game drive for us.

Rooms located along the reception area are prone to noise from surrounding staff members as it’s a high activity area. I found this to be unpleasant when I wanted to relax or have a nap during the day as there is constant loud chatter around these areas or cleaning being done. I’d prefer a more isolated room next time where noise exposure is controlled as this does distract from the otherwise peaceful and quiet ambiance. My husband also got food poisoning on the first night after having the beef dish on the menu and the hotel did not have any medications on site to help with the symptoms. They offered to arrange for us to go to a pharmacy but that was the next day. The food menu is also the same everyday so there isn’t much variety. It would be good if this could be changed up so that the meals are not monotonous

I liked the serenity and tranquility it gave me. The staff was friendly, the place is clean and neat. The lapa and the sunbed were my most favorite not forgetting the massage area as well stunning thumbs up.

Our room didn't have view and it was closer to the storeroom meaning we were disturbed by that constantly.

L’emplacement, les infrastructures, l’ambiance minimaliste et zen du lieu.

Dans la salle de bain le minimalisme est poussé à l’extrême et génère de l’inconfort. La salle du restaurant est mal ventilée et les odeurs de cuisine sont très fortes.

Just that a room for a couples sauna would have been amazing

It was a great experience and we enjoyed the stay, we only had one challenge we felt there were bed bugs

My stay at Farmhouse was absolutely amazing. The service was exceptional, and every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. Waking up there on my birthday was the best decision I could have made. The peaceful surroundings gave me the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and truly enjoy the moment. It was a memorable experience, and I would highly recommend Farmhouse to anyone looking for a tranquil and welcoming getaway.

My favourite thing about the property was the location. So close to the city yet so secluded. It felt like we were so far away from the city even though it was a 30 minute drive. The air was fresh, the vegetation was growing and the animals were happy.

The bed was too low for me but my spouse enjoyed and felt comfortable

Best malva pudding Most of the food is grown on the premises, its exceptionally quiet, a very good place to heal and restore

The property is very beautiful and intentionally designed to allow guests to be in touch with nature and themselves. The facilities are clean.

We could hear people talking in the other room/office. That’s probably because the rooms don’t seem to have sound proofing. So late at night we could hear people and the same early in the morning.

The staff is really friendly, it was so clean. The reception was quick to answer on WhatsApp. I’m really happy with the retreats, everyone was on time. They made my stay with my partner so wonderful. I enjoyed their food. One of the best places I’ve been to. Lastly, Baba Sono thank you for taking us through the hike. 🌸

The dairy room was stunning and so warm for winter. The Lapa is a stunning chill area and the staff are amazing. Lovely place to relax and connect with nature.

The coffee cups and water glasses are used for the same purpose which is not ideal. Coffee cups with coffee, milk and tea sachets are more versatile. Did not enjoy the morning coffee which is such a pity because there is such a great outdoor area to enjoy it.

Staff digging in garden close to and during outdoor meditation session. Staff could be a little more in sync with activities on the property. Found it disturbing. Staff in dining room to be more attentive Ito watching tables when not serving. Some tables had hand washing before. Others not. Decide on protocol for all. They were using plastic jug and stainless bowl to wash. Suggest aligning with decor. Perhaps tin jug and pottery bowl …

I enjoyed the whole experience and stay celebrating my birthday. Stix really went all out to ensure that we experience and enjoy our day. He really did a great job at exceeding our expectations. The reception team, Gloria and Lazi were also good. Thank you ❤️

It was convenient accommodation after having had our sons wedding at "Then there was Fire"

Personally, it was a bit much "Farmhouse" ambience for me. The initial room allocated was very small, fortunately they did accommodate us with a better one. Very few guest there, so lacked a bit in atmosphere.

The place itself is amazing ,very tranquil and promotes relaxation .The room we ended up getting was amazing .The Food was delicious just wished they had a bit more variety on their menu .

Menu has no variety especially if you plan to stay for long ,The room we saw when booking and what we got was different however Rosina was able to explain and assist us with our upgrade swiftly.

Great but quite pricey

I loved the nature aspect and all the staff are amazing with great hospitality too.

It was bitterly cold in the rooms and the underfloor heating was not working at all. It made for and uncomfortable sleep.

The place is a definite 10 but I think they need to provide heaters or aircons especially in rainy/winter season. The under floor heating was not effective.

Our room had no aircon or heater so it was cold at night. Under floor heating didn't make a difference, it was cold throughout the night, Improve on communication with the guests because there was no hot water meaning we had to take a cold shower.
