Excellent service at reasonable price. Very large swimming pool with a great view. The beds were very confortable and the balcony of our "chalet" was real large and convenient. All staffs very kind and serviceable.

A bit too close to the main road so we can hear a little the heavy trucks passing. The restaurant menu is rather limited and the restaurant was not always open.

Tout car nous avons réservé un bungalow pour la 1ere nuit. Nous sommes arrivés par un bus en pleine nuit à 4h30 et le personnel était là pour nous accueillir et nous montez nos bagages jusqu’au bungalow.

Our stay was amazing, thanks to the wonderful staff, who were incredibly kind, understanding, and welcoming. We arrived at the hotel gate around 4:30 a.m. without having notified the hotel in advance…. One of the staff members immediately welcomed us, turned on the lights, opened the reception area for us and even offered us the opportunity to enjoy the pool as soon as it got light outside. We were also able to access our room around 9:30 a.m., even though our check-in was originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. This was incredibly kind and made such a difference after arriving so early in the morning. A huge thank you to the whole team for being so welcoming and kind to us, and for making our stay even more enjoyable. The pool is large and really pleasant, and the view of the mountains is absolutely incredible. The hotel also works with a motorbike rental company, which was able to deliver a motorbike directly to the hotel, making it very easy for us to get around. We highly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this place!

It is complicated to get a taxi or a grab where the hotel is located, so i would recommend to get a bike. And the breakfast is only local food and meals.

The only small downside was that when we arrived, the pool area was quite busy, but I guess that’s simply the price of success and we can totally understand why!

La stanza che avevamo aveva una serie di buchi nei muri quindi ci siamo ritrovati diverse specie di insetti all’interno una volta rientrati a casa, però il personale è subito accorso in nostro aiuto per farli fuori.

Personnel vraiment charmant. Une fête avait lieu la première journée et ils m'ont surclassé en me mettant plus loin. Les personnes parlent relativement anglais ce qui permet un minimum de communication. Le gérant m'a rencontré sur un lieu touristique avec sa famille et m'a invité a partager leur repas. On peut manger le midi et le soir pour une somme raisonnable et c'est très copieux. La piscine est très grande et la vue magnifique. Bons conseils pour les visites. C'est très calme car retiré de la ville. Merci à l'équipe

Les bungalows en bois sont un peu sonores, le bruit dépend de vos voisins. Il faut forcément prendre un grab car il n'y a rien à pied aux alentours. Mais c'est aussi pour ça qu'on le choisi, pour être au calme.

La ville n’offre pas beaucoup d’intérêt mais il y a un superbe tour à faire dans la région sur 1 journée (ban gioc waterfall, village de papier, cave (grotte) et point de vue god’s eye mountain (avec buffle) L’hôtel en lui même est niché dans une vallée magnifique. Nous retiendrons principalement la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité de l’hébergement

nous avons tout aimé, en premier l'accueil, tout le.monde est aux petits soins, l'environnement magnifique, les chambres, la vue. l'hôtel est un peu loin. du centre mais facile d'accès, le gérant commande un taxi rapide et peu cher. nous conseillons les chambres vue piscine avec leur balcon qui sont vraiment magnifiques.

Clean and comfortable rooms with a good restaurant on site, the dinner and breakfast was very nice and the staff were great. There was also a pool bar and the pool was a perfect temperature.

Rooms weren’t very soundproof and you could hear everything from the restaurant and bar below, there was an event on the night we stayed which was unfortunate as it didn’t block any noise.

Een oase van luxe na 5 dagen op de moto. We hadden hier graag een dag langer gebleven. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Het zwembad is geweldig.

Les bungalows sont vastes et leurs balcons sont un plus agréable, d'autant qu'on peut y brancher le ventilateur de la chambre, qui dispose par ailleurs de la climatisation. Le petit domaine est agréable.

Le petit-déjeuner est servi à partir de 07:15 ce qui est dommage pour ceux qui partent tôt en excursion.

The breakfast was good and had many different choices for breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean ,the staff were also very friendly and assisted with anything we needed. The pool was also quite big.

A quick tip for future travelers: if you stay in a room on the top floor, be prepared to climb a lot of stairs, and note that there is no room service upstairs. However, the incredible views and total exclusivity you get in those rooms make it completely worth it! Plus, you don't need to worry about the climb at check-in because the staff kindly take your luggage up for you.

We booked a double room buy the pool but they put us in a family room by the road which was noisy and not sound proofed so you could hear people talking next door

My family and I stayed here for four nights and our experience couldn't have been better. We booked two rooms for four people, but from the second night onwards, we were upgraded to two superior rooms. The location is wonderful, close to the city but in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful natural setting. The rooms are very nice and decorated with great attention to detail. Although they have a rustic and traditional in style, they have all have the necessary amenities for a very pleasant stay, such a comfortable bed, air conditioning and or refrigerator. The food in the restaurant is really good, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The swimming pool is definitely a plus—large, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. A special mention for the staff. If everything mentioned above weren't already good enough, the entire staff, with their warmth and gentleness, made our stay even better. They have created a very warm and special place to enjoy a holiday in a paradise. I couldn't recommend this accommodation more highly.

room was not very clean. the bathroom was linked to the shower room and the shower water was clogged. Their "innovation" for this clogging was wooden tiles to keep your feet from being soaked in the water. When I took a shower the water was cold and I had to call them to turn on the hot water. There is no fridge. The breakfast was horrible. Very poorly run business. At night the light from outside is on and people were partying, very hard to sleep.

Nice infrastructure but veeeeeeery poor customer service

AC didn't cool enough, not a typical refrigerator on the room (just some electrical cooler that only fit couple cans of beers or soda), shower clogged even though they fixed once, water leaks everywhere when you shower, pool day everyday for locals and not privacy for guests (a lot of noise even at night time because of that), breakfast extremely simple just toast and fried eggs with coffee not a plate of fruits or any kind of juice (you had to buy it separately)

Issues with no water Toilet was blocking up Could settle are Bill with eftpos was scrapping around for cash ended up having to use Australian money too pay . Continuously running out of fresh fruits I think it's more of a local hangout wich is fine but should be mentioned before booking for a peaceful Echo lodge.

C’est un établissement qui fait aussi restaurant et la piscine est ouverte au public. Beaucoup de familles avec des enfants viennent à la piscine pour se baigner alors qu’ils ne logent pas à l’hôtel. Le bruit est intenable et insupportable. Même dans la chambre on ne pouvait pas rester. Le petit déjeuner est très sommaire, nous qui sommes végétariennes avions droit à une soupe avec des pâtes instantanées. Même du riz il ne pouvait pas le proposer au petit déjeuner.

We stayed here for 2 nights because we wanted to explore the Cao Bằng area. First of all, I want to start positively by saying that the staff were very friendly and helpful, even though they barely spoke any English. However, after our 8-hour journey, we were met with a huge surprise upon arrival. There was a massive children’s party taking place at the accommodation with probably around 60 people in total. The entire pool area was packed, loud music was blasting, and as hotel guests we could not use any of the facilities at all. We did receive an apology for this, but it still felt very strange. After reading other reviews, it seems these kinds of local events happen quite frequently. The pool is also basically a public neighborhood pool where many children and families come during the day. So if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely not the place to stay. In the photos, the accommodation looks well maintained, but in reality this is absolutely not the case, especially when it comes to the rooms. We are not overly picky and are used to basic accommodations, but this room was extremely dirty. The bathroom was full of mold, the shower drain did not work causing the entire bathroom to flood after one minute of showering, the shower head is broken, and even the bathroom door nearly came off when opening it. On top of that, the room is basically an open hut with large gaps and holes everywhere. Because of this, both noise and huge insects can easily get inside the room. Of course you are staying in nature, but sleeping next to insects that were sometimes 6 cm long was simply too much for us. You can also hear your neighbors word for word, making a good night’s sleep nearly impossible. The curtains are very thin as well, and bright outdoor lights stay on all night and shine directly into the room. The food was okay, but the restaurant only opens at 4:00 PM, so having lunch at the accommodation is not possible.

Very scenic and beautiful location. The facilities and pool were excellent. The room itself was clean and tidy.

Nothing that the hotel could have done about it, but with it being located in and around nature, you have to understand that you WILL encounter insects and creatures. During our stay we were visited by spiders and lizards in the room. Just something to be aware of when booking, you need to be okay with that possibility. The noise of the insects on a night is also very loud. After booking 2 nights, we decided to only stay 1, due to spider encounter in the bathroom and the noise keeping us awake all night.

Khuoi is like suddenly landing in West Italian Alps, the residence is so classy, the garden is breathtaking and so is the pool view. The stuff was so lovely and they had puppies. I loved the mosquito net around the bed. It was a must have in this area. Best standard around Cao Bang in my opinion.

The lodges have bathrooms with gaps between them you can literally hear every bit from your neighbours, especially in the bathrooms. The shower was a bit sloppy it was giving hot or cold water only and spraying water around the bathroom.

The view is beautiful The breakfast is very simple but ok We can rent a motorcycle directly from the hotel, same for taxi

J'ai aimé l'emplacement en dehors de la ville au calme, la piscine avec vue sur les montagnes, les lits sont énormes et les gens sont adorables. Notamment le monsieur de l'accueil qui m'a indiqué comment prendre le bus local et qui m'a trouvé un taxi pour aller en ville à la pharmacie en urgence suite à une allergie alimentaire. Merci encore pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité 🙏🏼 J'ai aimé le service de Laundry peu cher et le fait d'avoir pu laisser mon backpack pendant 3 jours le temps d'un tour.

La seule chose que j'ai moins appréciée ce sont les chambres privées qui ne sont pas isolées les unes des autres. Vous entendez donc vos voisins de chambrée et inversement.
