Our stay at GiaBinh Homestay was perfect. The host is an amazing, deeply caring person who genuinely treats you like family. She speaks English fluently, which makes communication completely seamless and effortless. She goes above and beyond to help with absolutely everything you could possibly need, if you need anything. Whether it’s renting a reliable motorcycle, organizing a private car tour or drive, or arranging buses to take you anywhere else in Vietnam. Her lovely caring housekeeper greets you with a big smile every day and the entire atmosphere makes you a feeling of home. The facilities are sparkling clean from top to bottom. Our room was incredibly spacious, peaceful, and quiet, with excellent air conditioning that was a lifesaver in the heat. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The location is also fantastic. It serves as an excellent jumping-off point for heading out to all the best sights in the province, such as the stunning waterfalls and Angel Eye Mountain. On top of that, it is conveniently located close to local markets and stores, and is just a pleasant 20-minute walk into the city center. If you are visiting Cao Bang, do yourself a favor and stay here.

Wonderful hospitality, kind , attentive with many suggestions as to where to go. Very good breakfast. It's located close to the main road that has local buses going to ban gioc.

The mattress was hard. The internet not strong.

On a été merveilleusement bien accueillis par Thuy, elle a pris soin de nous comme si on faisait parti de sa famille ! On s’est vraiment senti très bien ici, un petit coin de paradis. Si vous hésitez entre plusieurs Homestay, vraiment venez ici c’est le plus bel accueil qu’on ai eu en un mois au Vietnam ! Et n’oubliez pas d’écrire un petit mot dans le livre d’or 🥰 merci aussi à la dame qui s’occupe des ménages, elle a été adorable avec nous !

L’hospitalité , la bienveillance et la douceur de Thuy est très agréable. La chambre est très spacieuse. La maison est impeccable et au calme dans une impasse. Location de scooter sur place. Thuy prépare de bon petit déjeuner à la demande.

The beds were very large and comfortable, and the house in general is sooo beautiful—you just feel right at home. She’ll even lend you a scooter and do your laundry if you need it. We highly recommend it. Both the owner and the assistant are soooo charming and wonderful.

The host family is lovely! The mother speaks English so it was very easy to communicate, they helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend! The location is not on the center of town, but for us it was perfect :)

This homestay was outstanding. The owner is lovely, speaks good English and nothing was too much trouble. She organised a tour for us to see all the beauty that Cao Bang has to offer. We visited 3 villages, the Pagoda, the Falls and the Mountain Eye. It was extremely affordable and one of our best stays so far (we are here for 3 months). I would highly recommend this homestay. We stayed 2 nights. Walk into the city centre was easy and got our steps up (approx 2km)... a grab would have been about 60,000VND (but we didnt do this). Very enjoyable .... would absolutely go back!

We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 5 nights. Everything was great. We could rent motorbikes from the property and it was great to explore the area. The owner gave us great advice on what to visit and the schedule of the local bus that takes you to the waterfall.She speeks very good english. I had a day when I wasn't feeling well. She came to the door and asked if we were okay and offered to cook something for me. I really appreciated that. She helped us book a bus back to Hanoi. I recommend this place.We really enjoyed it here

L'accueil, l'amabilité des hôtes ! Adorables, aux petits soins et qui nous a aidé pour la réservation de bus... La chambre spacieuse, propre, décorée avec goût. Le calme environnant. Possibilité de louer des scooters. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Nous recommandons.

Parfois, il y a des matchs de foot (terrain en face de la chambre) de 17h30 à 21h...c'est bon enfant et pas trop bruyant. Quelques chiens qui aboient parfois dans la soirée et la nuit. Perso, ça ne nous a pas dérangé.

Just go !! If you hesitate just go to this homestay. It's super clean, super big, the van can take you there and the owner and her sons are soooo nice. We didn't have as much time as we would have like to chat and chill with them but this is a really gentle family. You can ordre food from there at night since its a little bit far away, you can also arrange scooter/motorbike location. And if you still want to walk into town, only 15 minuted before you're at the river. Thank you so much !

Can’t recommend this place enough! Thuy is such a kind and helpful host, and makes a delicious breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The AC, Wifi, and hot water worked very well. Thank you Thuy!!

Fijne locatie, grote kamer, fijn bed, warme douche. Voor het eerst in 2 maanden reizen in azie een schone accommodatie. Je moet je schoenen uit doen maar dat is helemaal prima omdat het echt schoon is. Scooter verhuur. Ontbijtopties Spreken vloeiend engels!

We felt like at home. All questions were answered. It was very calm and the host was very responsive to all our queries. My fiance was a little sick and got some special food to make him feel better. We really appreciate the genuine care. The place is few km from the center but you can rent a motorbike to reach all the places you want in the province. Easy to get to the ban gioc waterfalls as you dont need to get through the crowd of the city.

Great homestay with a very lovely family hosting their guests as if they were family. I had a motorbike accident and the family made sure I'm feeling at home and organized a few things for me, picking me up from the hospital etc. I'm glad I ended up here since I enjoyed every second I spent in this homestay, even though I was having a bad time with my hurt leg. The room is spacious, enough place to calm down after a stressful day. Everything is super clean and organized, the breakfast is very tasty and there is a fridge with drinks on the first floor. I'd definitely come back to this place and would recommend everyone visiting Cao Bang to stop by this homestay and enjoy the vibes.

Excellent rapport qualité prix ! Nous y avons passé 1 nuit il y a 2 semaines et demi, après avoir arpenté les montagnes de la province en scooter. La propriété est magnifique. Immense même. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et confortables. C’est également très calme et le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent ! Allez y les yeux fermés

Thuy was great. She helped out with advice on what to visit, where to eat, bus bookings and many random questions. We were able to rent a scooter direct which was perfect. The homestay is very clean with great showers & aircon. Great beds and its quiet as it is on the edge of town. We slept very well here. Its a really interesting town with a good vibe, a great market & lots of trees. "Almost" on an island.... So quite different to most other towns we visited and not at all touristy. We spent a day riding in the countryside.... Went to the Ban Gioc waterfall. Great ride but very touristy. The Gods Eye was a standout as very low key, stunning scenery - take a picnic and spend a few hours here! Thank you Thuy!

Le bus que nous avons pris nous a emmené directement à l’établissement. La gérante nous a accueilli, et nous a conseillé et aidé tout le long de notre séjour. La chambre était parfaitement propre. On lui a loué un scooter qui fonctionnait très bien. Elle nous a même aidé à trouver un bus pour rejoindre Ha Giang.

On est resté 4 jours dans cet homestay. Notre hôtesse nous a accueilli à 4h du matin, il a été possible de garder la chambre pendant une excursion d'une nuit pour aller à Ban Gioc, elle nous a organisé notre trajet sur Cat Ba et elle nous a emmené avec sa voiture au point de rendez vous. Que dire de plus à part qu'on est très bien accueilli dans cette home stay. Les locaux et la chambre sont très bien entretenus. La dame qui fait les petits déjeuners est adorable et très serviable. Par contre il est nécessaire d'avoir un scooter car un peu loin du centre.

Peut-être les lits un peu durs mais c'est un détail.

Our room was very spacious & clean. On all floors was a common area and you could buy cooled drinked for a good price. The host Thuy is so nice and helpful, and speaks very good English. The housekeeper is very nice as well and makes a good breakfast! We rented scooters and they were very good quality. Thuy also helped us with our transfer to Cat Ba & gave us some tips. Definitely recommend staying here!

It would be nice to have a water refill possibility to reduce the amount of plastic bottles you have to buy. Not a big problem, just a thought :)

EVERYTHING! Seriously. Thuy was an amazing host. Helpful and a wonderful person. Her children and husband were nice and Thuy’s English was great so when you really needed help it was simple. I liked that the location was a little out of town. It was peaceful. She has motorbikes for rent. She let me leave my bags for a week while I traveled by bike out to some more remote areas and then I came back and she booked me a bus to my next destination. The room was large, clean, comfortable. She has a house keeper that was so sweet and made me ginger tea when I got sick. Staying here was one of the highlights of my trip and Cao Bang and surrounding areas were one of my favorite places. Thank you for making my trip so awesome Thuy! 😊❤️

We only stayed for one night but Thuy the host was wonderful and kind. She went above and beyond to help us. She rented us a scooter and recommended a number of places to visit on our journey through northern Cao bang. The guest room and the entire house is extremely clean. A true homestay experience.

The homestay family was really nice and I was not feeling well when I arrived. They took care of me and checked up on me as well. Highly recommend others to stay here.

The staff speaks very good English, and they are super friendly and helpful. They take their time with every request, gave me great tips for motorbike rides and day trips, and I felt very well taken care of. I even extended my stay spontaneously because I liked it so much. Not to forget, the breakfast was also very good. I would definitely come back!

The room was huge, comfortable, clean and quiet, the owners were lovely and the price was very reasonable too. Could have easily stayed for weeks.

I had an incredible stay at this homestay for almost two weeks. Everything was perfect! The owner, Tuei, speaks fluent English and was incredibly helpful with everything I needed. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very affordable. The location was ideal—far enough from the city to enjoy peace and quiet, yet close enough to easily access all the attractions. Tuei also rented me a motorbike at a great price, making it even easier to explore the area. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place with great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything I miss you already...

We spent three wonderful nights at GiaBinh Homestay and explored the Cao Bang area. The room and the entire hotel is perfectly clean. The owner, Thuy, waited up for us on our arrival since our bus was late. We rented her scooter and it worked great. Breakfast was very tasty and was cooked for us every morning by the very nice housekeeper named Lu. I highly recommend this homestay. It’s such a welcoming place and a great value!

I strongly recommend staying at GiaBinh Homestay for exploring the Cao Bang area. The english speaking host is very friendly and helpful. Thuy knows all the places in the area, organizes tours and pickups to the limousines and busses to Hanoi. My room was clean and cozy, the bed was fine too. They offer rental motorbikes and scooters for rent. Breakfast was good as well. Also there are restaurants around the corner. I exceeded my stay for a couple of nights.

The host was so nice and helpful. We could rent scooters and she helped us book bus tickets which were not available online. We even could borrow jackets from her. The rooms were also very modern and super clean.

We really enjoyed our five nights staying with Thuy and her family. The room was spacious and the shower had excellent pressure. We were really well looked after with breakfast each morning, motor bike hire, excellent local advice including map directions. Thuy even orders dinner in if you do not want to go out. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this place to anybody. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. She sorted bike hire for us upon arrival and gave us so many great tips. Thuy and her family were so nice and made us feel so welcome, we even had dinner with them which was amazing, highly recommend. Also her sons are great and they even invited us to play football with their friends as the football pitch wasn’t available at the time. Overall, one of the best places Iv ever stayed and the hosts are what makes this place so good. A must stay place if you’re in the area

From the moment we met the hosts we knew they were great people. They kindly rushed to greet us with two umbrellas during a downpour. They showed us to our room--which was honestly the cleanest place we had been to during our whole stay in Vietnam. We enjoyed every moment and conversation we had at the homestay. What a place! It combines the personal touch and hospitality of homestays with rooms of good hotels. And it's so bright, spacious, clean and well decorated. A lot of work goes into keeping the standards here. Our host and her husband were so nice to us, gave us good tips to plan our days, organized for us connection to Ha Long and scooter rental (scooter were in great shape, the best we've had in Vietnam). We were so happy with our stay and Cao Bang that we've decided to stay another night. And it was still too short! Riding through countryside here is such a pleasure. Roads are in great condition and with light traffic we really could relax and enjoy the magical scenery. The city itself is also nice - we had a chance to attend weekly festival (on weekends) with singers, dancers and so on. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Don't skip on Cao Bang!

Very kind host! Room was clean and comfortable. Having A/C was great in this heat wave. Only about a 30-minute walk to the center of town, and right next to a bus stop for longer trips.

Thuy is an incredibly friendly host. She was so helpful giving advice about driving my motorbike around Cao Bang. The room is spacious, warm water, AC and strong wifi.

Location is a little bit outside of the main town. Might be a tad hard getting to the main part of Cao Bang if you don’t have a bike but plenty of restaurants within 5 min walk from her home

The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful with advice. The atmosphere is a family one, but the standard of the room is on a hotel level (clean and comfortable). I definitely recommend it!

Keep in mind that the location is on the outskirts of Cao Bang. We had a motorbike so it didn't matter for us and we liked a very quiet neighborhood.

It is about 30 min to walk to the town. Perfect if you have a scooter. But a bit far to walk. One the place side it is quite.

Thuy is an incredible host, and that was the defining part of our experience in Cao Bang — she will take the time to have long conversations with her guests, invite you into her warm home and will go out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Her home cooked meals are absolutely delicious! The bus to Ban Gioc waterfalls passes right through the main entrance to the homestay, which makes it super convenient to commute.

A true homestay where I was treated like a son for 5 nights (I extended from 3). Lovely family, comfortable clean rooms, affordable price, away from heavy tourist zone, close to nature-checked the boxes on all i wish for when looking to crash somewhere. Can't recommend enough, easiest 10/10 I’ve given. ill miss this place, thanks for the great memories :) -Emile

Family were very nice and welcoming. It was our first homestay experience. We had dinner with the family the second night. Food was great and we learned a lot about the area. The host has great English. Room was spotless and beds very comfy...location at the edge of town was perfect for us. We were on motorcycles and could safely park our bikes at the house.

There was a kettle in a shared area. Personally I would prefer one in my room...I love a coffee first thing in the morning...however only a few steps to a kettle

Amazing host! Thuy was so friendly and helpful, showed us a few places to explore and talked to us about the local culture. The location is great if you have a motorbike, lots of parking and a quick ride into town. Plus it’s a very local feel with kids playing soccer and the owner’s parents live next door. The property itself is very new with super comfy beds too!

New building, therefore all the facilities are new, homestay with a sweet family, every day we meet with them in the evenings, drink tea and eat fruit. The building and the room are clean and polished. The building is a little outside the city center so it's quiet, I also rented a motorcycle from them for a few days to go to the waterfalls and villages in the north I stayed there much longer than I planned and I already felt at home. I would love to come back
