We absolutely loved this place! The quiet vibe of the village, the welcoming hospitality, and especially the amazing staff and manager made our stay truly special. During our stay, we did SUP on the lake, and we spent a wonderful time cycling around the lake. It was the absolute perfect soft landing in Vietnam—a peaceful place just over an hour’s drive from Hanoi, and we would love to come back again. The owner went above and beyond for us. He even offered us a ride back to Hanoi, helped us arrange our next taxi, and guided us on finding our next destination. While the accommodation is simple with straightforward facilities, it has a huge heart and offers truly exceptional personal care. We highly recommend this place to anyone!

Outstanding welcome in this village-like comprehensive accommodation, letting you experience the traditional housing (mud/cob walls, bamboo bedding and windows, etc.) and delicious cooking of local products and recipes. We were with a group of friends and stayed only one night (+ afternoon/morning), but i would have really liked to have more time to discover the area. Many thanks Lang Hao Huc for making us feel so welcome and discover some of the your excellent project to reconnect to nature and quality of life with your roots in this beautiful and less-known part of the country!

The activities provided are many, SUP, biking, hiking, etc. food is great, staff very friendly, the pool is huge, the village is very quiet, incredible hospitality, I am impressed. Slept very well, was able to check-in early, cute rescued puppies on property. The room has foot-bath, tea, chairs, tables, lamp, and music instrument and many other useful objects. The buildings are made of bamboo, palm and clay and quite open.

I liked everything, but if you would complain about insects, the place is very deep in nature so might be not for you.

Si vous recherchez un lieu authentique, loin de l agitation de la ville et proche de la nature, venez vivre une expérience ici. Le propriétaire parle parfaitement anglais et a créé ce lieu unique qui peut accueillir des groupes d enfant en été et pendant les vacances scolaires. Nous avions loué la maison au fond du jardin très grande, avec tout le confort pour un lieu authentique. Les repas sont préparés par des locaux, c est donc authentique et très bon, très copieux. Il y a même une piscine à disposition ainsi que des vélos gratuitement. Il y a une superbe ballade à faire le long de la route du lac et vous serez certainement invité à déguster du thé vert, directement au pied des champs de thé. Une immersion intense avec des gens très gentils ouverts et prêts à vous faire découvrir leur pays, leur région et leur coutume en tout simplicité. Alors vivez cette expérience loin des tours opérateurs.

Cette expérience reste un peu rustique et ne conviendra pas à tout le monde. Tout dépend bien sûr de ce que vous cherchez !

Ici c'est pour se ressourcer, être proche de la nature, au calme et au plus près des habitants. Nature luxuriante,, accueil chaleureux par une équipe formidable. Vous pourrez louer des vélos pour vous ballader, profiter de la piscine et déguster des repas et petits déjeuner locaux. Les hébergements sont sommaires et charmants, et c'est le but recherché. L'équipe propose des activités de découverte et est présente pour vous faciliter le repos.

Everything was perfect the place is beautiful and the host are so welcoming even though we arrived late.

Sehr reduzierte traditionelle Bauweise. Der Charakter der großen geräumigen Hütte entspricht vermutlich den Bedingungen wie die Bevölkerung auf in den Dörfern lebt und gelebt hat. Bett war bequem und der Vermieter hat Moskitonetz angebracht. Bad und Toilette außerhalb der Hütte.

I actually stopped there to avoid staying in hanoi but I really had a wonderful and amazing time. It's very relaxing and you really merge with the nature. Beside that you can learn a lot about tea there's a great swimming pool and beautiful waterfall not far from there.

Een heerlijke plek waar je tot rust kunt komen. Weg van de drukte, met lieve mensen die er alles aan doen om het je zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken. In een woord authentiek.

Om er te komen is er maar een toegangsweg en daar zitten nogal wat slechte plekken in.

Les hôtes sont charmants et très disponibles. Le village est très chouette en pleine nature avec une vue sur la campagne et vallée. Très ressourçant. Le thé est délicieux. Ça fait du bien de se ressourcer dans un habitat traditionnel avec quand même un très bon confort. On a un peu l'impression de dormir dehors dans le cabanon où nous étions.

Les voisins lnt été un peu bruyant mais pas longtemps ^^

Tolle Lage in der Natur! Das Personal war super freundlich & wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur und das Gelände ist super groß mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort um einen Zwischenstopp einzulegen und haben es sehr genossen, hier ein wenig abzuschalten. Wir wurden wärmstens empfangen, unser Host und alle Tiere vor Ort waren sehr herzlich. Unser Raum war recht offen, das sollte man vorher wissen, aber für uns war es trotzdem gemütlich und eine angenehme Erfahrung! :)

Exceptional naturalistic homestay in tradition Vietnamese huts in the midst of green hills, nearby a beautiful lake. Lots of ways to connect with nature. I had the most calming stay and experienced traditional food, ways of living and very friendly locals. Things you can’t find in the busy epicentres! Highly recommend, would always come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was nothing to mourn about, Vu and his family looked after me like a family member and I felt very fortunate to have found this hidden Gem!

Wonderful setting in traditional Vietnamese style huts with super nice ladies preparing us delicious food. Very authentic. And the owner was very helpful

Note that this is a fairly rustic setup with mosquito nets so do be aware of that before coming

A fantastic place to connect with nature. Owner and staff were so accommodating and took care of anything we needed. The free activities on offer were a great bonus. Home cooked food was delicious and falling asleep in comfy warm beds to the sounds of the forest was just wonderful

The staff at the property are so accommodating. The service was 10/10 and really made the stay. The food was fantastic too, really authentic. The huts are traditional Vietnamese, woven doors and window covers. It’s the kind of experience you come to this country for. Overall, a proper, authentic Vietnamese experience. The owner Vu is very friendly and incredibly accommodating. You can see he really cares about what he’s doing at this place. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay for long this time but I’ll definitely be back to spend more time here and take part in some of the activities.

Hao Huc Village near Thai Nguyen is definitely a special place – it completely enchanted us. It’s not touristy, which makes it feel even more authentic and peaceful. The accommodation is set within a beautiful natural area where you can truly relax and unwind. The food is delicious and very authentic. If you want, you can be taken care of all day long – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every day we were asked what and if we wanted to eat, which made everything very flexible and personal. The rooms are clean, and the architecture is unique and full of character. The true highlight, however, is the people – both at the accommodation and in the surrounding community. The designated customer service contact speaks excellent English, is extremely polite, and was always reachable via WhatsApp. They organized our bus and taxi transfer from Hanoi and handled everything we needed during our stay. The cook and her team are incredibly warm and always in a good mood. We also met the manager on site and immediately got along very well. The locals in the village are unbelievably kind, welcoming, and curious. We went on a tour through the nearby tea fields with the cook and had wonderful encounters along the way. Our stay at Hao Huc Village was at the very beginning of our Vietnam trip and left us with a lasting impression of how beautiful the country and its people can be. We would definitely come back! :)

Very authentic place to stay and Tahn Hu familiy are very welcoming, they speak very well english and a lot of things to learn from them ! Definitely recommend !

I loved my stay here. Great food, a kind owner, and helpful staff. The bamboo houses offer a true local experience. The property was clean, quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature, and the fishing pond was a highlight for me.

We had a wonderful experience at Lang hao Huc! The rooms are designed with a countryside theme, creating a warm and simple atmosphere. The air is exceptionally fresh, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature

A place to slow down and savor life! The serene landscape and fresh air made me feel completely at peace. Breakfast was just as wonderful—a warm bowl of bún, made with care and bursting with authentic flavors.

A true countryside retreat! The traditional mud-walled thatched houses, fish ponds, and endless greenery made this place feel like a dream. I started my morning with a steaming bowl of Phở, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavors.

Such a warm welcome! Even though we arrived late (because we got lost) they cooked us a big dinner. Traditional food, Traditional bamboo house all private with shower/toilet in a side building. Slept really good in the sounds of nature. Many lovely dogs on the property. We only stayed 1 night but I could have stayed longer if I would have had the time.

There's not much not to like! but if you're not into bugs/nature this might not be your place. The bamboo house is quite open to outside so bugs can get in. Mosquitonet = provided though!

What a peaceful escape! The homestay’s traditional village-style design made me feel completely at ease. Waking up to birds chirping and a cool morning breeze was magical. And the Bún for breakfast? Absolutely delicious! The broth was light yet flavorful, and the fresh herbs made it even better.

Beautiful location, perfect place to stay the first night on our motorcycle ride out from Hanoi. The bungalow was spotless and facilities excellent. Hosts were very hospitable and friendly.

I loved the most was the fresh countryside atmosphere, bringing a sense of peace and comfort. Surrounded by shady gardens, and the cheerful sounds of birds in the morning, this place is perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. The room had a beautiful garden view, where I could open the window and immediately see a vibrant, green space filled with flowers and plants. Breakfast here was also excellent, featuring authentic local dishes. I love it- Banh Cuon

The perfect getaway! Surrounded by majestic mountains and rolling hills and traditional architecture, this homestay was everything I needed to unwind. I started my day with bánh cuốn, and it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. A must-try!
