We could hear someone snoring throughout the entire night. There is a room next to our apartment, and the person staying in that room was snoring all night. As a result, we couldn’t sleep well and had a very disturbed night.

The house was very clean, spacious and beautiful. Enough beds for the family. I appreciate its convenient location and amenities, close to shops and restaurants.

I have nothing negative about the stay. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and provides a relaxing environment

Absolutely loved this property. It was close to the mountain and not far from the town centre. Felt like home for my kids and was very comfortable and clean.

A beautiful property with wonderful views. Very peaceful and quiet. Amenities provided were perfect for our stay. Checkin with the code provided was easy and smooth.

Great for families, x2 couples and a 4 yr old. Bedrooms at opposite end of the property so allowed privacy and the open plan kitchen dining was great

Next to the front bedroom is another unit there door adjoins your accomodation and you can hear everything removing the privacy Showers were not very good.

Spacious and modern

It exceeded my expectations!!

Very clean property with plenty of room for all six adults to relax. Quiet location and would certainly recommend to anyone looking in the area.

All we were missing was small wash cloths for the bathrooms.

There was a distinct smell of food in the appartment that was making it feel unclean, felt like it needed to be aired out.

So spacious and well laid out.

Parking was a bit tight.

The house was large and spacious. It had a well stocked kitchen. The location was convenient to the centre of town.

The garage had been converted into a room which had been rented by other people. The interconnecting door was locked but we could hear the people talking and seemed strange having someone else stay there. We hadn’t expected it.

Not really I didn’t like just requesting extra toilet paper ,more dishwashing liquid,sponge.Hot water tank to be refill before someone stay to avoid bathing with cold water.Otherwise all good

The apartment is located at a really scenic location. It was huge, and the bedrooms were very spacious, cosy, and clean. Bathrooms were spotless and clean. The host was really prompt in response, and he quickly sorted our query.

The place is a very nice and comfortable house. Met to our requirements.

Buy a can of WD40 and spray the hinges of the doors to stop them squeaking. There was someone parked in our Unit C parking which was not helpful and other parks were parked by other people from the next units next to Hunter.

It is centrally located, clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped.

The doors are all terribly squeaky. There was no free to air TV. You may jag noisy neighbours that are in bedsit units at either end of the house...who arrive very late, bang around and not realise that you can hear their every word.

While the property was comfortable, clean and modern, the property had adjoining rooms with thin internal walls / doors so could hear every other guest. No lake view even though that was what we had assumed from the title of the property and multiple properties overlooked into windows and we looked into them.

The house has two extra units attached. One of them has only a locked door between that unit and into the main house. There's not much insulation between, so you can hear everything in there. I could hear them open a drawer, take out a spoon and stir a cup of tea with a lot of clarity. In the morning, I thought one of my children was snoring. I went to check, but no one was snoring, but I could still hear snoring! It was coming through the wall at the back of the house (no door for this one). We were very conformable there, but it does rely a little bit on having good neighbours.

Very clean, spacious apartment with an easy walk to Tekapo centre/lake. Great facilities and easy car parking.

The property had another person in the adjoining converted internal garage. There was very poor noise insulation and the person was very noisy. However, the Managers were very helpful and prompt at resolving the issue 😀.

The location was as convenient as any in Tekapo. Large dining table, comfortable lounges and beds.

This was advertised as an apartment. In actual fact it is a regular sized house that is being booked out to 3 parties at a time. The garage is let out separately, as is the rear bedroom. There are adjoining doors and no soundproofing - they could hear us, we could hear them. The wall dividing the rear bedroom adjoined one of our bedrooms was so thin that we could see light coming through. This is not disclosed in the property description. Our family of 6 adults felt like we were walking on eggshells to try and keep the noise down for the people on the garage and rear bedroom. It made our 3 night stay very uncomfortable, especially when our friends came to join us for dinner. It is also listed as 'Apartment with a Lake View' - in no way is this possible in it's location. If the above is no problem for you, or you wanted to pay for the 2 extra rooms, then it would be fine.

NOT ENTIRE PLACE TO YOURSELF!!!!!! NOT LUXURY ACCOMODATION!!!!! NO FIREPLACE AVAILABLE!!!!!! LYING MONEY GRABBERS!!!!!!! This is by far the worst Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Ever!!! I'm a single mother with three daughters and I only ever book Airbnb accommodation where we have the entire place to ourselves for safety reasons. This accommodation does not offer that even though they claim that it is. IT IS A LARGE HOUSE WITH MANY BEDROOMS AND THEY DIVIDE IT INTO DIFFERENT ‘UNITS’ OR ‘APARTMENTS’ BY LOCKING AN INTERNAL BEDROOM DOOR! I literally had groups of men staying in bedrooms in the same house as I was staying and I could hear them talking, brushing their teeth, and farting. There were more bedrooms with men in them up near my girls bedrooms. Owners falsely advertise a fireplace but it is unavailable. I would not have booked this accommodation if i had known. I paid $500 a night and paid the extra so that we would have a fireplace but there's not even gas for it. I suspect the owners are Asian as the house is cluttered with cheap Asian clutter and while cutlery is highly limited there are about 280 chopsticks available for use. Clearly targeting the Asian market, but hello! This is Australia and you need to target the market to where the Airbnb actually is! The beds were horribly cheap and thin and hard and I think the bed in the master bedroom is only a double. The bathroom of the master bedroom is an all access bathroom and quite ugly. The property windows look into the adjoining property windows and there is no privacy. Everything about this place is cheap. Thin, small bath towels. terribly flat and poor-quality pillows, dusty old smelly decor everywhere that just looks disgusting and like a serious health hazard. The lounge room has a stuffed Elmo toy doll that looks like it's about 30 years old- just disgusting. Would not recommend this place at all. Booking.com you should hold these people accountable for false advertising.

The house was lovely and warm. Furniture cosy to sit on.

Fully equipped kitchen, clean & spacious, with little to no dusts tables, big smart tv in the media room, comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing house.

The wifi - disconnects in certain hours. While streaming videos on social media, the internet is not working. I think this Hunter unit C is sharing wifi connections with the other units. There is no face towel provided.

Great holiday home, satisfies all areas

Spacious and warm with plenty of room for everyone on a really wet day. Lovely and clean with fully equipped kitchen. The door code system made things very easy on arrival and departure.

A few more mugs and plates would have made life a bit easier.

The well appointed kitchen and 2 bathrooms Cecelia was polite and lovely to deal with and was quick to communicate with us. Also the house was very spacious and lounge was great for watching t.v. All the kids had their own beds and it was sunny and a quiet street. Great for a large family.

The doorway right near our room was locked and I thiught it may have been a cleaning cupboard. It was a part of the house and it was rented to a different group. So you could hear their conversation and noises just like they were in the house. It wasn't ideal and if I'd known I wouldn't have stayed there probably.
