Dusche war gut vom Wasserdruck. Zimmer von der Höhe her sehr groß.

Es war dreckig.

L'hôte est très disponible et arrangeant (même s'il ne vit pas sur place mais en ville). Il peut vous aider sur les choses à voir et les restaurants dans les alentours. Il est venu me chercher à l'aéroport de Batti avec sa propre voiture (1000 LKR). L'hôte est super intéressant et parle bien anglais et communique avec vous via WhatsApp. J'ai eu un mini cours gratuit de "breathing yoga" avec lui 🙂 Un employé reste sur place la nuit. Il n'y a que 2 chambres et une cours où vous pouvez faire sécher votre linge. Lieu très calme avec beaucoup d'oiseaux, bien en retrait de l'unique vraie route (assez peu passante). Les vélos à disposition sont un vrai plus 👍 Quartier très chill avec une ambiance très locale authentique et détendue. Je recommande vivement de s'y balader à vélo 😍 (c'est l'un des gros intérêts de loger ici). Très peu de touristes lors de mon séjour (juillet 2026).

- Manque d'équipements dans la chambre : pas vraiment de table de nuit, pas de lampe de chevet, aucun meubles pour poser ces affaires. - Emplacement parfait si vous avez votre propre véhicule ou si vous comptez utiliser les vélos. Sans ça, à pieds, vous serez loin de tout. Génial à vélo à ! - Si vous êtes à vélo, je vous recommande d'avoir une lampe frontale si vous souhaitez rentrer après le couché du soleil, car les routes et chemins ne sont pas à 100% éclairés la nuit. Mais aucun danger de rouler de nuit dans la zone (peut de circulation, population locale très chill).

Hébergement simple et spacieux, option de clim, salle d'eau rustique. L'hôte est très disponible et sympathique. A deux pas d'une plage magnifique, excentré du centre ville.

Der Gastvater ist sehr nett und bemüht sich um alles. Wir hatten das beste Frühstück bisher, das Zimmer ist sehr groß und für 5€ extra konnten wir die Klimaanlage dazubuchen, was wir nicht wussten dass es eine gibt aber wirklich froh darüber waren.. Es ist absolut ruhig dort, der Strand ist sehr nah, aber nicht geeignet zum Baden aber für lange Spaziergänge.. Zur Abkühlung steht aber im Hof eine Gartendusche bereit. Zur Durchreise für eine Nacht ist der Ort und die Lage absolut in Ordnung, mehr kann man dort aber nicht machen außer lange Spaziergänge.

Der Strand ist nicht zum Baden, die Gegend ist sehr einsam und selbst ein paar TukTuks wollten nicht bis dorthin rausfahren oder kannten sich nicht aus. Es hätte etwas gewissenhafter sauber gemacht werden können, der Esstisch im Hof wurde nie gewischt, der Boden außen auch seit langem nicht gekehrt. Der Mitarbeiter lag meist nur faul rum und war sehr wortkarg. Und ein Moskitonetz wäre super gewesen.

Nette Gastgeber, die uns Fahrräder organisiert und uns mit Tee und Kaffee empfangen haben. Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Sehr abgelegen vom Trubel, direkt in der Nähe ist ein kilometerlanger, einsamer Strand, wegen dem Wellengang muss man aber vorsichtig mit dem Schwimmen sein.

Kein Fenster und Personal, das nach Zimmer schaut, hält sich direkt vor der Wohnung auf, so dass man nicht absolut für sich ist.

Both the gentlemen at the property were very helpful. The younger one was willing to help a young puppy I had spotted. Being able to borrow one of the three bikes to cycle into town really helped being able to explore. This is a very tasteful room when compared to lots of others and the value was exceptional.

Just one little improvement, if breakfast could be offered I think it would raise the popularity of the accommodation.

Le propriétaire est super sympa et nous a aidé à obtenir des tuktuks pour aller à kallady ou baticalloa. Bons petits déjeuners. L’emplacement est bien calme car assez isolé : attention à ce point car il n’y a rien à 2 km. En août les vagues étaient très assez grosses , dangereuses pour des enfants en bas âge.

The Room was big and clean. Also the bath. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast very good (beides the flies on that Day). We were satisfied with our stay beides...

By booking.com it is described with location beach Side. That is Not true. The resort is situated in a small forest 200m from the beach and there a few possibikities to eat around. The pricing is a little bit higher than usual as an AC costs 5$ extra and Our stay for one night summed up to 53$ (incl. breakfast). That was the most expensive resort we have had and in comparison to others it falls a little bit behind.

The room was big, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean. Ac available for a small extra charge. Bikes free to use. Beautiful, empty beach in walking distance. Maran the host was wonderful and hospitable, just so kind. He gave us meditation lessons every morning and made us wonderful breakfasts he had so many tips and recommendations for us in the area. He truly made us feel so at home- we didn’t want to leave

The host / owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He was very quick to help me check local bus times and even arranged transport to the bus stand for an incredibly reasonable price.

The location was out of the way but it was very peaceful. Also the host provided me with a bike so this wasn’t much of an issue at all.

Need to add more amenities to the room. better to see if the two windows can open and lower. Switches are very high on the wall. Nice place which can be improved a lot. Bach is not in front. It's about 400m from the beach.

Host was very helpful, rented us bikes. Drove us to restaurant, when those nearby were closed, and to our next place for a reasonable rate.beach very close, and great sri lankan breakfast.

No windows in room and atleast 4 miles to town center . 800 rupees each way in tuk tuk.

A lovely stay in a remote location. Quite limited in regards to local facilities, but perfect for those looking to escape the crowds. The owner and caretaker were wonderful, warm and friendly people, and the room was a great size and equipped for all you could need.

I had a great time and extended as I liked it so much. The beach is reachable in a walking distance of a few minutes. Beautiful room, helpful staff and inspiriering yoga and breathing lessons made my stay amazing. Thank you for everything!

Everything fine

Such a nice place. The owner and the guardian are super cool. Very helpful. Everything is top notch at this place. What I loved the most was the small basketball court that they have in the premises.

My stay at this guest house was fantastic! The beach is only a short stroll away, and the serene surroundings filled with the sounds of birds made for an incredibly soothing getaway. The rooms provided everything I needed, were comfortable and well-kept. I also like that they had cycles available so I could go around the region with ease. I had a great yoga lesson on-site, and that really renewed me. All in all, a fantastic location, calm surroundings, and well thought-out amenities made my stay very remarkable. I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for a tranquil beach getaway.

To be honest, this guest house had nothing that I disliked about it. Throughout my time, everything was taken care of, and I had no problems. The hosts also do a terrific job of soliciting feedback and making constant improvements to their offerings, demonstrating their genuine concern for the happiness of their guests. Strongly advised!

It is a very calm environment with an awesome host. He helped us a lot during our stay and is just a lovely person. The beach nearby is huge and we saw one to four other tourists per day. There's a bit of trash around, but very little compared to other beaches. We found it quite beautiful

Neem is a relaxing and quiet place. The owner goes out of his way to make the stay enjoyable and nothing is too much trouble. On the day that we left he called his tuktuk guy at 5 in the morning to make sure that he would be coming to pick us up for our early train. Our room was fan cooled but aircon is available for a small surcharge. Also the guest house is a few minutes walk to a stunning beach. (confident swimmers only)

This is a nice retreat for people looking for a quite area to stay in for a few days.

My travel plans changed and I asked to cancel the booking but the owner wouldn't do so saying that it was not permitted by Booking. However, I received an email from Booking saying that they had asked him to cancel but he would not do so. While I appreciate the risk of lost business, the gap between booking and cancellation here was short. No WIFI though the owner said it was a temporary problem only

Neem Forest GH is somewhat outside the city but only a short tuktuk ride away. As a result it is a beautifully peaceful and extremely quiet location. Dawn chorus of birds was amazing. The host was extremely helpful and ready to talk about all matter of subjects. The Sri Lanken breakfast was always too much and the host made sure it was always different. Nearby is the many kilometer long sand beach (no other tourists) where you watch the fishermen pull in their nets of caught fish. Meem Forest is highly recommended.

The decor is lovely, the high ceilings and fans keep the rooms very nice and cool. The beds are very comfortable. Super close to the beach.

There aren't that many restaurants close by BUT if you have a moped you'll be fine and the owner was so helpful and would have made sure I had everything I wanted food wise. They also offer yoga and wholesome meditation chats ✨.

A superb location right by the sea. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided is unparalleled, surpassing any other encountered during the entire journey. Additionally, there is a stunning beach just a stone's throw away, adding to the allure of the accommodation.

We had a wonderful experience at this rest house. The owner personally picked up our family, ensuring a safe journey to the place located near the beach. The atmosphere is unique, making it one of the best and safest spots for family time. Rooms are spacious and clean. The highlight was the chance to savor delicious traditional food—an unforgettable experience!

The only downside was the heavy rain, affecting the overall experience. Limited outdoor activities and some inconvenience getting around. Despite that, the staff's efforts to make my stay pleasant were commendable.
