Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Anlage mit mehreren Katzen, die Betreiber sind freundlich. Das Hotel ist zwar abgelegen, aber der menschenleere Strand ist ganz in der Nähe. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis

Die Bettbezüge könnten etwas mehr Pflege gebrauchen. WC-Steine im Waschbecken sind auch keine so tolle Idee. Könnte dann auch gerne mehr kosten.

Great location for everyone who wants to rest in beautiful surroundings. However there is a need for having own transportation because it’s kind of far from the city.

Ce endroit est exceptionnel pour la déconnexion. La plage à 2 minutes est DÉSERTE ! (Il y a même des petites huttes pour rester à l’ombre 🤩). Les logements se trouvent dans un jardin magnifique, très travaillé. L’hôte nous a très bien accueilli, il a été très gentil et prévenant.

C’est loin de tout (il faut le prévoir), premier resto à 20 mins à pied, pas de commerce. Ce n’est pas embêtant si vous le prévoyez assez 😉 L’un de nos deux lits n’était pas en super forme (rien de catastrophique non plus)

V tomto ubytování jsme strávili jednu noc. Jednoduché, ale účelné vybavení s překrásnou zahradou. Personál velmi milý a hostitel nám byl velmi vstřícný, když jsme potřebovali pozdější check-out. Výborná snídaně.

V blízkosti je pěkná pláž, bohužel je na ní spousta odpadků. To bohužel ubírá na celkovém hodnocení místa.

L'endroit est tranquille et proche de la plage ( attention pas vraiment baignade, juste se mouiller) possibilité de se faire thé et café. Le propriétaire a bien voulu faire cuire des oeufs que nous avions acheté pour notre petit déjeuner. Possibilité de se louer des vélos pas trop loin pour explorer

In dem Hotel hat man sich gefühlt wie im Dschungel. Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt, der zum Baden aber nicht geeignet und auch recht vermüllt ist. Der Hotelbesitzer war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend, seine Katzen und Hunde sehr gut gepflegt. Die Anlage sehr gepflegt und gut durchdacht, aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Nach den Möglichkeiten und Vorgaben war alles sauber und gereinigt. Ein echt chilliger Ort.

Auch wenn sämtliche Bettwäsche sicherlich gewaschen worden war, wiesen alle Laken hässliche dunkle Flecken auf. Das war jetzt nicht wirklich angenehm. Es war in den Zimmern recht beengt und die Matratzen ziemlich durchgelegen. Unsere Klimaanlage funktionierte leider nicht, was wir aber auch erst mitten in der Nacht bemerkt haben, als wir sie dann doch anschalten wollten

The Price is very good for what you get. It’s a Sri Lankan holiday resort for locals … very basic but clean and nice. I stayed before „soul connection“ near by and switched hotel during night because of cracked bed and lot of holes in mosquito net (dengue area!!!) This place is totally different! I can only highly recommend

The surrounding s, the beach is very dirty and the sea needs experience to go in. Is very remote and the city of Batticaloa is strange and difficult to navigate. The problem isn't the accommodation

Ein sauberes, kleines, mit dem Notwendigen ausgerüstetes Zimmer mit Terrasse in einem sehr gepflegten, angenehm schattigen Garten, ein paar Schritte vom strahlend weissen Sansstrand entfernt. Küche mit allem Zubehör inkl. Auch Preis/Leistung perfekt! Freundlicher, sehr hilfsbereiter Host. Ein eigenes Fahrzeug ist von Vorteil.

° Die Unterkunft liegt abseits von Batticaloa auf der Landspitze und somit nah am Strand. ° Wir hatten eine schöne Cabana mit eigener Veranda. ° Die Cabanas liegen in einem hübsch gestaltetem Garten. ° Das Früstück war sehr lecker und wurde im Garten serviert. ° Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

° In der Unterkunft erhält man kein Abendessen und muss somit abends - wenn man nicht im Dunkeln 2km laufen möchte- noch mal mit einem Fahrzeug los, um in einem Restaurant zu essen. Die Restaurantempfehlung der Unterkunft war aber prima!

Les propriétaires parlent anglais donc conversations intéressantes. Très bon accueil. Joli jardin. Ils arrangent tout pour vous ; repas (en basse saison), taxi. Calme. À côté d'une immense et magnifique plage. Merci calme en août.

Der schlafbereich und die kleine Terrasse waren gar nicht so schlecht.

Das Bad war Katastrophe und ja das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen aber dann sollte es wlan besitzen weil der Empfang auch sehr schlecht war.

Guest House composée de plusieurs cabanons, le lieu est très agréable, le jardin est très vert, bien entretenu. La chambre est de confort standard, ce n'est pas le grand luxe mais pour une nuit, c'est très bien. Bon rapport qualité / prix et accès à la plage à 150m

L'hotel est un peu isolé, il faut prendre les tuktuk pour se déplacer

La tranquillité du lieu et la proximité de la plage et le personnel aux petits soins

Absolutely loved our stay! The beachside location was breathtaking. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Rooms were clean, and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommended!

The place was basic with no air conditioner - although one in the room but not working. The sheets were horrible nylon things. Very cheap and that is its winning thing, with some small improvements could be a lot better - new sheets, covers, smarten up the shower toilet areas would improve this place 100%

The place is a little paradise. The host is a very kind man and felt us feel very welcome. The rooms are basic, but defenitely very lovely.

The location is a little remote, so keep that in mind. The food at the restaurant close-by was unfortunately not the best, bus okay enough I guess

View Was Exceptional But Water supply Is not Good

I did not ordered breakfast since we were iin an excursion.

Atmosphere, friendliness, Timeliness, Supportive and really a hospitable person "Suresh" is.

Basically almost everything. The most decent owner I have encountered in Sri Lanka, he even tolerated me there up to the last moment even though he was closing the place for couple of days and I was the last guest to leave. He would arrange food or drinks, all brought asap. Location in Navalady is quite remote, but serene and beautiful.

Stray dogs on the beach, but that's obviously not the resort's fault, so for any people with phobia, please, have someone with you to go to the beach since the place is remote and dogs are running around freely.

This place is located outside from Batticaloa, on a small peninsula. There is a garden which you can sit in and relax in the morning or evenings. You can walk from the city, which we did, but its about 4-5km. The city is not super exciting anyway, so better stay at the beach, which is located just outside the entrance. If you want to be alone on sandy beaches with warm water the location is perfect. The host is very nice to both guests and animals, both stray and his domestic cats, dogs and a tiny frog(!) which is wonderful. He can also order a tuktuk if you need one, for reasonable price, aswell as his English is very good, so communication was easy. I would recommend getting the Sri Lankan breakfast which you pay extra for, it was good. In total, good value for the money.

Since the location is a bit outside town, there are few places to grab a snack or eat from. There is no kitchen as for now, however, when we visited there was an outdoor kitchen being built which is going to improve this place x1000, so you can cook some lunch or dinner. Also quite warm in the rooms without AC but for the price its expected.

It is a great place if you like quiet holidays. No crowds, no traffic on the road. Located just off the beach. Perfect spot for swimmers. Suresh is super friendly, nice and help you with all your needs. There’s no restaurant but breakfast can be arranged and food delivered from a nearby restaurant by Tuktuk driver. The rooms are very clean and cozy.

I was just passing through on my way to Trincomalle. Nice place, accommodation very simple, corresponding to the low price, it is possible to choose a higher standard with AC, which I would do next time.

Really nice garden with bungalows. The owners are really nice and even made us some breakfast even though we didn't order it the day before. Very close to the beach, but there are no shops around so you have to bring something from the town.

Bathrooms could use some love, they feel a bit run down, but they are clean.

Super friendly and helpful staff, really nice location right near the beach and very peaceful and quiet area of batticaloa. Also helped me with some mechanical issues with my bike which was much appreciated. And had a lovely dinner and breakfast.

I elected not to pay the extra charge for AC and ended up regretting it, too hot for my western standards to sleep without it but that was more my fault than theirs

The location is very quiet and very close to the beach. There are two beautiful temples nearby too. The garden is very beautiful. Perfect place for peace and quiet

There's not many shops around and it's a bit far from the centre. But that is to be expected. The plug for electricity is not placed in a favourable spot. But all in all everything was good! Would like to see them clean the porch and it would be nice to have soap

Naaval Beach Villa and rooms. Owner/Manager ( Suresh) is a lovely guy, room was very clean and had a nice comfy bed and good towels supplied. Great shower and a clean bathroom where everything worked! We had room number 3. Powerful fan and a mosquito net over the bed but we didn’t need the net, no mosquitoes at the end of July when we are here. The property is shady and green with established trees and plants. Mornings are especially nice sitting on the private little balcony outside your room. There’s an excellent beach right next to the property. You can help the fishermen bring in their boats at sunrise or just watch them do all the hard work. Swimming in the morning and in the evenings was great. It’s a 500rupee ( we didn’t haggle) tuk tuk from the big bridge where the bus can drop you off if coming by bus from Aragam bay. There’s a supermarket and a couple of awesome indian restaurants there to near the bridge too. If you arrive in the heat of the afternoon consider walking over to the beach, having a quick dip and hanging out in the shade of the fisherman’s hut or other shade on the beach. With a little breeze it would be lovely. Suresh also pointed us to a local restaurant 10 minutes walk from the hotel ( Lagoon hut ) right on the water where we had dinner. Cheap and super tasty fresh fish. All in all a great stay and highly recommended for the price. Suresh doesn’t normally do breakfast but when we asked he made us some toasted egg sandwiches and black tea which hit the spot. It cost us 700 in a tuk tuk to the train station to head up to Polonnaruwa. What a lovely place. We wish you good luck for your future Suresh

Sri Lanka is hot in the afternoons all around the coast but that has nothing to do with this property.

Beautiful garden clearly made with a lot of love and care, idyllic location near the beach while still quite close to town centre. Really relaxing lovely place! The room was really lovely and comfortable. Also I forgot something in the room and the owner was super lovely about it and very motivated in looking for it and giving it back to me.

The garden is beautiful and lovely with a lot of places to sit and hang and escape the heat. One minute walking distance to the beach. The owner is so sweet and helpful and even provided a very cheap breakfast even though it wasn’t originally a possibility. The location is a bit away from the bustling city, giving a much more tranquil experience. There are a few restaurants a kilometer away and the possibility for (cheap) take-away.

The owner - he is a gem. The resort itself looks like it came straight out of a 5 star hotel with lush greenery and aesthetic decorations all over. The rooms were really comfy and the cleanliness was top notch, everything was on point, you can ask the owner (suresh) for literally anything like water for drinking, tea bags, hot water, anything and itll be at your fingertips in seconds, and for literally every question we ask him- his response was really sweet and good to hear, you can make really good friends with him if you visit his place and he will make you feel as if you are at home. He has a cute little dog and since we were a bit afraid of dogs he even caged the dog so that we can have a comfortable stay.
