Difficile de savoir par où commencer tant nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement. La chambre était vraiment belle, soignée et confortable, avec une très bonne literie et une excellente douche. Petit plus non négligeable : elle disposait d'une petite terrasse. Le petit-déjeuner changeait chaque jour, toujours préparé avec des produits frais et faits maison. C'était un vrai régal. L’hôte est d'une gentillesse et d'une aide incroyables, toujours avec le sourire. Elle nous a aidés à organiser notre planning et nous a donné de très bons conseils (repas, massages, shopping…). Pour ceux qui ne parlent pas chinois, elle dispose d'un traducteur qui fonctionne parfaitement : tout est fluide, aucune barrière de langue. La situation de l'établissement est excellente, ce qui permet de visiter facilement les sites aux alentours. Nous sommes vraiment déçus de ne pas être restés plus longtemps. Si un jour je reviens dans le coin, je ne cherche même pas ailleurs : je fonce ici les yeux fermés !

We had a wonderful stay at Zhangjiajie Suxin Hotel. The staff’s hospitality truly stood out from day one—everyone was welcoming, attentive, and eager to make sure we had a great visit. They made our itinerary effortless by helping us book our local excursions and tickets. Navigating the area can be tricky, but their recommendations and assistance with reservations saved us so much time and hassle. Communication was always quick and easy, which made coordinates and asking for advice entirely stress-free. If you're visiting Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying at Suxin Hotel for the great service and welcoming environment. We would happily stay here again!

Es un lugar muy hermoso, un hotel pequeño , eso lo hace muy especial, cuando llegamos nos dieron a elegir la habitación , que fue excelente, la atención es una pasada, nos recogieron en la estación del tren, y de regreso nos llevaron al aeropuerto, el desayuno fue fantástico, y Lili estuvo pendiente todo el tiempo, todo estaba muy limpio, es el lugar donde te atienden como en casa, solo agradecimiento la habitación hermosa, volveremos sin dudarlo.

Capisci di essere nel posto giusto, quando nonostante qualche piccolo intoppo, vai via con il sorriso e ti manca quel posto. La struttura dispone di camere bellissime, curate, pulite e molto spaziose. Il personale è super genile e disponibile, nonostante l'ostacolo della barriere linguistica. Ho passato un'ora circa con l'host alle 11 di sera per strutturare l'itinerario per visitare i parchi che rendono questa zona una tappa obbligatoria per un viaggio in Cina. Colazione inclusa che abbiamo sempre sfruttato fuori orario in quanto ci alzavamo presto al mattino,altra nota al personale che ci ha fatto trovare le colazioni a sacco, attenti alle nostre richieste, davvero impeccabili. La struttura è stupenda e la camera era spaziosa, luminosa e dotata di un delizioso giardinetto esterno con comode sedie in vimini, perfetto per rilassarsi. La posizione era ideale per la nostra tappa per visitare la splendida Tianmen Mountain, raggiungibile comodamente in soli 10 minuti di DiDi. Lo staff, in particolare i meravigliosi host Lucas e Lily e l'autista Fu, è stato semplicemente eccezionale e straordinario: prima ancora del nostro arrivo abbiamo comunicato tramite WeChat, e si sono dimostrati incredibilmente disponibili. Oltre ad aver organizzato con efficienza il trasferimento gratuito dall'aeroporto, ci hanno fornito preziosissimi consigli su Tianmen Mountain e sulle montagne di Avatar, arrivando a prenotare per noi tutti i biglietti secondo le nostre esigenze di orario e fornendoci al nostro arrivo un itinerario dettagliato da seguire. Una volta fatto il check-out, ci hanno persino invitato a contattarli per qualsiasi necessità durante il resto del nostro viaggio. Ottima anche la colazione servita al momento con caffè, toast con uova e deliziose specialità locali salate. Conserviamo un ricordo davvero affettuoso di Lucas, Lily e di tutto il personale!

Il m’a donné des conseils pour les deux visites du mont Tianmen et du parc forestier de Zhangjiajie et il accompagné pendant toute les visites à distances et étape par étape pour m’aider à m’orienter et à tenir le timing pour finir ma visite à temps et pouvoir arriver à temps à la gare. Son aide m’a été vraiment precieuses. Sans lui j’aurais raté mon train. Merci beaucoup!

The owners, a couple, are very kind and helpful, this is the big plus of this structure. The lady booked us the tickets and was nice to explain us how to best visit the places. But I have to say that given the four stars and the name “resort”, I was expecting a very different experience. Definitely overpriced for what it offers, also considering the high-end options at similar prices in town. They picked us up at the airport and took us to the train station for free but this is not an expensive service to get with Didi.

Position is close to Tianmen mountain but far from restaurants and shops in the city center, it is on a busy road. Breakfast is good, but there are no options, the owners serves all the plates to share on the table. Also, you need to tell in advance what time you wake up, because there are just three table. It is served in the lobby. The pool is tiny and it is not treated with chlorine. The light over the washbasin didn’t work in the first day, they fixed on the second and broke again on the third. I gave complaining.

Host Lucas en zijn vrouw zijn top! Kamer beviel ons niet, we kregen gelijk een andere alternatief. Kamers zijn mooi en schoon! Ontbijt super goed. Zowel westers als oosters. Fris en alcoholische dranken was kosteloos. Dag van vertrek werden wij met de auto vervoerd naar het station. Goede service! Ik snap niet waarom sommige gasten negatieve beoordeling schrijven. Kwaliteit, Service en Prijs is goed!

Wonderful place and lovely people. Lucas and Lilly are very nice and kind to help you to organize every single day and visit to the main attraction. Breakfast was always very good. We loved the place, the atmosphere and it's been the best accomodation of our trip in China.

Wow the staff were very accommodating, really nice and did their best to communicate and give us tips of where to go and visit etc. They upgraded our room which was great as my son, and I had a room to ourselves even though it was a 2-room set-up. It was very nice, crazy to see pebbles in the room on the floor, I felt like I was outside but inside. We only stayed one night, but it would have been comfortable enough to have stayed longer. Everything you need is fairly close and with a Didi or so, easy as! For the breakfast and as a vegetarian, they accommodated my needs where possible, this was really nice and so much food, we couldn't eat it all, there was just so much! Great value for money.

People (cleaning staff) in the hallway were a bit noisy early in the morning, it was good that we were up early anyway as waking up to the loud noise would not have been nice. Maybe the cleaning staff can take this into consideration.

We had a delightful stay at Su Xin Resort! When we arrived, Lucas gave a very detailled explanation of the region with tips regarding the highlights, how to get there and other useful tips. He booked tickets for Tianmen Mountain and Furong Town for us and frequently checked up on us if everything went smoothly. He even picked us up at the train station after our visit to Furong Town. His wife made a very nice and personal breakfast each morning at our desired time. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location, close to airport, Tianmen tram, and old town! Lucas and his wife were exceptional hosts!

Zeer goede locatie 10 min. van vliegveld en loopafstand (15 min) van de terminal vanwaar de bussen/cablecar naar de Tianmen Mountain vertrekken. Mooi gelegen, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Accommodatie heeft een luxe uitstraling en de service is prima.

De accommodatie heeft wat onderhoud nodig, esthetisch is het allemaal mooi bedacht maar de tuin, zwembad en kamers vertonen kleine gebreken.

Pas d erreur en réservant cet hotel tenu par un couple adorable. L hotel est super bien situé dans un style traditionnel, Lucas le gérant nous a planifié nos 3 jours de visite a Zhangjiajie, il nous a été tellement utile! Il a réservé les billets ( aucune commission) et nous a donné les adresses pour les taxis. Il nous a préparé des petit déjeuners lorsque nous partions tôt de l hotel le matin. Notre linge a été lavé dans la journee. Il a retenu nos préférences pour le petit déjeuner. Nous avons pu choisir notre chambre ( surclassement proposé sans frais). Les chambres sont tres jolies, la literie confortable, la salle de bain de qualité. Petite piscine bien appréciable. Climatisation parfaite. Je recommande!

Lucus and NeeNee are the perfect hosts, you could not ask for better, they both were so helpful and kind, they sorted out where we should go, booked Didi and private cars, checked on us via WeChat to make sure we arrived ok and that we were getting back ok. They are wonderful. The garden room we had was lovely.

We absolutely loved staying here! The property was well-kept, in a great location, and close to everything. The staff were amazing—they helped us plan our trip, book activities, and were always so friendly and helpful. Even though we had to use a translator to communicate, everything was easy and seamless. They provided breakfast every morning and even asked what time we’d like it ready. They also let us do a late check-out because of our later flight and arranged airport pick-up and drop-off, which made our trip so much more convenient. We were honestly so impressed by their hospitality and kindness. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area—you won’t be disappointed!

La habitación tal cual se ve en las fotos o mejor. Tiene un patio adelante muy lindo, todo impecable. Lucas es muy atento, nos lavo la ropa, ayudo con las excursiones y nos llevo al aeropuerto. El nos pago las excursiones, entrabamos a los lugares con el pasaporte, no perdimos tiempo con eso. Nos tuvimos que ir antes por un tema laboral y nos devolvió el valor de una noche sin que se lo pidamos.

El desayuno occidental, pero Lucas tiene muy buena onda y esta predispuesto a ayudar y que la pases bien. Escribo esto porque hay que poner algo.

The hosts were superb, kind and helpful to get a tailor made national park visits for us - which took into comsideration the weather conditions. The breakfast was also awsome, we got all support what we could wish. Walking distance are many restaurants, so easy to go out. I recommend the resort very much.

Das Hotel war super ausgestattet, top gelegen und die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und super bemüht. Bei der Anreise wurde uns ganz genau erklärt, wie wir zum Tianmen-Berg kommen und welche Route wir dort am besten laufen sollten. Wenn wir wieder in Zhangjiajie sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo ao aeroporto, mas distante das principais atrações naturais. Os quartos são espaçosos e bem decorados. Mas o que é excepcional é o serviço do hotel. Os funcionários sempre dispostos a ajudar. Não fossem eles, a estadia seria muito difícil na cidade e para aproveitar os parques nacionais.

In Zhangjiajie, we had exceptional hosts. The hotel took care of picking us up from the airport — the transfer was included in the room price. They even bought our tickets while we were still in France. They also arranged a driver to take us to the national parks (Tianmen Mountain and zhangjiajie Park). They took their time with us and explained everything using a translation machine, which allowed us to understand everything they wanted to show us. The lady also helped us order a cake for a birthday surprise the next day. We were able to do everything we wanted in Zhangjiajie, and it was truly exceptional. For the rooms — actually, we had two rooms: one suite and one family suite. They were really fine. We really appreciated the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, as well as the facilities. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We wrapped up our time in Zhangjiajie with a one-night stay at Su Xin Resort near Tianmen Mountain, and it ended up being one of the most memorable stays of our entire trip. Honestly, I wish we had started here instead of finishing here. The level of care and hands-on help from the staff would have made the whole Zhangjiajie experience smoother. They helped us get oriented, pointed me to a great local barber for a haircut, found a pharmacy for us, and even took care of our laundry. It felt less like a hotel and more like having a local team looking out for you. Check-in was relaxed and personal—they actually let us choose from a few available rooms, which was a nice touch. The room we picked was absolutely charming, with a Japanese tea house feel and a private courtyard that made it feel like a quiet retreat tucked away from everything. The room itself was surprisingly high-end: automatic curtains, a Toto bidet with heated seat, a beautiful shower and soaking tub, and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve had on this trip. The memory foam pillows were a small detail that made a big difference after long days of exploring. Breakfast in the morning was fresh, homemade, and genuinely delicious—not a buffet, but something prepared with care. This isn’t a big resort experience, and that’s exactly the point. It’s intimate, thoughtful, and incredibly well-run. If you’re coming to Zhangjiajie—especially if it’s your first time in China—I’d strongly recommend staying here at the beginning of your trip so you can take full advantage of everything they offer. A really special place.

Y no solo programar sino que nos compraban los tickets y ya al final de la estancia cancelábamos el hospedaje junto con los tickets adquiridos (ningún fee de gestión ni nada. Igual a lo que se cobraba en los sitios)

If you are looking for a clean, convenient place to stay (both to the airport and to the attractions), with beautiful rooms, ever-patient and ever-helpful staff, then it is hard to fault the Su Xin Resort. In particular, the staff were fantastic. I booked a solo trip to China on a whim (literally booked flights the day before I left), without speaking the language or understanding any of the systems like payments etc. Despite being in an entirely unfamiliar world, Lucas and Nini helped me to feel very comfortable navigating the surrounds. They helped to plan my days to get the most out of my 5 day stay, and were compassionate, encouraging, and generous. They prepared breakfast each day, and were attentive to my requests (I requested less wheat/gluten and they prepared rice dishes for me going forward). They could tell me how to get around the city, had specific recommendations for how to get the most out of the attractions. The rooms themselves were clean, stylish, modern. The location is set back from the road, so there was no traffic noise. Knowing that I could message them if I got stuck while out and about, and that I had a wonderful room to get back to each night, coupled with the generosity of the staff all helped me to have a fantastic trip. Strongly recommend!

Honestly, without a doubt, it was one the best places I stayed in on any vacation. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly, gentle, genuine and warm. They were always ready to help. The food was delicious and fresh. They treat you like a celebrity. To us, they were the celebrity themselves. ❤️

This place is truly second to none. Its close proximity to the city centre makes it incredibly convenient, with everything easily accessible within minutes. However, what truly sets this accommodation apart is the exceptional care and hospitality provided by the lady who runs the hotel. She took the time to sit down with us one-on-one, carefully explaining the best places to visit and offering thoughtful guidance throughout our stay. She even followed up with us during the day to check that we had arrived safely and had enough time at each location, which was such a personal and reassuring touch. When we had an early start one morning, she kindly packed breakfast for us, and on the second day she personally cooked breakfast herself. The entire experience felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely homely. Combined with the unbeatable central location, this stay was outstanding, memorable, and one we would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, care, and convenience all in one place.

Le couple qui tient cet hôtel était effectivement très agréable, ils ont pris le temps de venir nous chercher à l’aéroport et de nous donner beaucoup d’informations grâce au traducteur. Le petit-déjeuner était typiquement chinois et varié. Le tout petit restaurant juste à côté de l’hôtel était extrêmement bon alors qu’il ne payait pas de mine. Nous avons bénéficié d’une meilleure chambre que prévu car il y avait un problème de chauffage dans la nôtre. Cette chambre et la salle de bains étaient magnifiques.

Il n’y a pas grand chose à faire autour, c’est excentré. Les galets par-terre ne sont pas hygiéniques. Et surtout, la marche à côté du lit est extrêmement dangereuse si vous devez vous lever la nuit sans allumer la lumière.

Everything. The owner was incredibly helpful providing a detailed itinerary that included all the highlights we wanted to see in the short stay we were there. This included booking all of our tickets so we just had to show up. We were given a choice of which room we would like to stay in and he did some research to accommodate my dietary needs for breakfast. It’s also a short walk to the cable car up Tianmen Mountain (which we could see from our room!) location is perfect for Tianmen mountain and DiDi is incredibly affordable to take into town as well as to Zhangjiajie national park (¥70-¥90 to get there and only ¥50-¥60 coming back ). Would definitely stay here again 😊
