Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Struttura super comoda al centro si può girare a piedi tranquillamente anche per arrivare alla spiaggia di holbox e ristorantini vari.
Dalle foto la struttura sembra più bella, piscina rivedibile, così come i lettini della piscina super scomodi. Pulizia della camera accettabile ma non pulitissima. Tv con soli canali in spagnolo. Nessun cartello con scritto il nome della struttura e arrivando a piedi dal porto non è subito percepibile quale sia l’entrata.

The bed is slightly shorter then european standard. We had problem with the hot water, however it was promptly fixed. There is cleaning only after 3days.

Reviewed May 8, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Onda Maya Aparthotel und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb und nur etwa 3 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt – genau dadurch ist es nachts angenehm ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der große und sehr gepflegte Poolbereich. Unsere großzügig geschnittene Suite mit Küchenzeile hat uns ebenfalls begeistert. Alles war äußerst sauber, modern und sehr geräumig, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Service war von Anfang an hervorragend. Bereits vor der Anreise verlief die Kommunikation über WhatsApp sehr professionell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts war alles bestens organisiert. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgt alle drei Tage, was für uns vollkommen ausreichend war. Handtücher sowie Beach-Handtücher konnten jederzeit problemlos gewechselt werden. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder in diesem Hotel einchecken. Kritikpunkte haben wir keine.

Très propre rien à dire, literie moelleuse, oreillers au top, le hamac sur le balcon un bonheur :) salle de bain nickel ! Emplacement super à 5 min à pied à peine du centre, de la plage et 1 min de restaurant. En taxi à 4 min du ferry !!!
Rien à dire à part que dans l’évier de la salle de bain l’eau s’écoulait un peu doucement (un peu bouché mais franchement rien de méchant) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés Nous avons adoré Holbox et reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet aparthotel

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Super schönes Hotel! Schönes Zimmer, sehr sauber, ein sehr großes und gemütliches Bett. Auch die Lage ist perfekt und man erreicht den Strand und Restaurants und Cafés in nur ein paar Gehminuten. Wir würden wiederkommen.
Das Badezimmer hatte leider keine eigene Tür (bis auf die Toilette), was aber kein großes Problem war.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Het hotel is kleinschalig en ziet er prachtig uit. Het zwembad is heerlijk en de locatie is top. Je loopt zo het centrum in naar de restaurantjes en de supermarkt op 5 minuten. Holbox is een prijzig eiland (voor Nederlandse begrippen) dus het keukentje was een mooie toevoeging.
De bedjes aan het zwembad zien er leuk uit, maar wij konden er niet langer dan een uur op zitten.

Staff were great, even organising for a golf buggy to be dropped off outside the hotel. Will hopefully be back to Holbox and this hotel in the future.

Le personnel est professionnel et attentionné, j'avais précisé lors de la réservation que nous venions pour notre anniversaire avec ma fiancé et ils ont décoré le lit avec des serviettes en forme de cygne et des pétales de rose. Nous recommandonc vivement cet établissement.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026The location of this hotel was perfect. There were 2 breakfast spots around the corner we visited regularly, Mr. Happy and Zony (excellent food). Everything we needed was conveniently within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and made up everyday. The staff were so friendly and any concerns we had were dealt with in a timely fashion. Loved the water jugs in the rooms instead of plastic bottles with the water cooler easily accessible to refill. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
There's limited space to put your belongings. They have hangers to hang some stuff but no drawers for other stuff. Also, when the screen door is closed at night, you can't see it so you tend to walk into it. (happened to a few of us). Maybe, some sort of decal would help. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about, it was great.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Très bel emplacement, près de tout à Holbox. Chambre confortable et ambiance plutôt tranquille. L’hôtel est agréable et bien situé pour profiter facilement de l’île.
Plusieurs irritants pour le prix payé (10 nuits ~ 3 600 $ CAN) : la douche se drainait mal, très peu de capsules à café (seulement 2 et ensuite payantes), et la piscine reçoit très peu/ pas de soleil. Le point le plus négatif : un chien a aboyé très fort la nuit (3–4 heures, jappements toutes les ~20 secondes) sur plusieurs nuits. Lorsque nous avons avisé la responsable, la réaction a été défensive (nous disant que nous étions “les seuls” à l’entendre, malgré une vidéo) et aucune solution concrète n’a été proposée. Des bouchons d’oreilles ont été donnés seulement après que nous l’ayons suggéré. Manque de bienveillance et de prise en charge.

Check in was a breeze, and the staff was quick to respond with questions, to supply fresh towels, or help getting a cab to meet the ferry.

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025L’appartement est super propre et optimisé et permet de se faire à manger facilement. Le lit est grand et confortable. Il y a plusieurs supermarchés où trouver tout ce dont on a besoin à proximité. L’hôtel est à 3 petits blocs de la mer et pareil du c entre, donc suffisamment loin pour être au calme et suffisamment près pour avoir tout à moins de 3 minutes à pied (des restaurants ou l’on peut prendre de bons petits dej sont encore plus près). Le ménage a été fait tous les jours et la réceptionniste Maro est super aidante. Elle m’a aidé à imprimer et scanner des documents pour mon travail, et nous a arrangé un transport pour l’aéroport de Cancun.
Les oreillers sont un peu trop gros pour nous, mais ce ne dérange pas plus que ça.

Reviewed Nov 17, 2025Great vibes. MJ, the manager, was super cool with us and the communication with them before and once we arrived was just so smooth. The room was great and it's so quiet in the mornings that it's just perfect to sleep in.
Nothing really stood out as something we didn't like. The experience was just what we wanted it to be, and we would love to go back to Onda Maya if we return to Holbox.

Reviewed Nov 10, 2025Mooie kamers, ziet er allemaal erg nieuw uit. Ook top qua locatie, alles is op loopafstand, maar wel op een wat rustigere plek. Inchecken ging makkelijk, sleutel zat al op de deur.
Bedden en kussens zijn echt verschrikkelijk hard. Wij hebben beiden zeer slecht geslapen. Tijdens ons verblijf waren ze met werkzaamheden bezig waardoor er best wat overlast was overdag qua geluid. Op een dag waren we ook tweemaal afgesloten van het water. Toen ik hier melding van maakte werd er gezegd dat dit door de werkzaamheden kwam. Was netjes geweest om van te voren aan te kondigen dat ze water gaan afsluiten en we niet meer kunnen douchen.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Great location - close to the main restaurant area and the beach - but away from the noise of town. Super comfortable bed, great rooms, and nice pool area. Love that they have a water fountain to refill you bottles! Receptionist was very friendly and gave helpful suggestions for the area.
They were supposed to clean the apartment after 3 days but it wasn't done due to some staff miscommunication

Reviewed Oct 19, 2025Lovely room, good location, although not on the beach they’d partnered with another beach club which was fantastic.
Balcony was a little small and tight, and overlooks a building site.. the pool area was nice but the lounge chairs were awful. So uncomfortable and I fell off it because they rock… terrible idea and meant we couldn’t properly sunbath.

La chambre était un peu humide. Du conditionner, coton, coton tiges aurait été un petit plus. Des petits détails qui peuvent faire la différence durant un séjour
