If you're looking for a fabulous place surrounded by nature where you can relax and unwind by the pool or work out in the fully equipped gym, Rainforest Resort is the place to be. The property is run by the most friendly and helpful person I've met in 10 years of traveling throughout Asia. Tuong is a fantastic host, offering advice on where to see the island's gems, answering all your questions, and even finding time to engage in long conversations. We highly recommend it and promise we'll definitely be back.

Welcoming staff, daily cleaning. You have a bungalow for yourself with just enough privacy. The surroundings are beautiful! A little quiet oasis in the middle of a city. You have everything you need there. Breakfast was wonderful. Free drinking water. 5 minutes walk to the beach and also 5 minutes to the city. They also offer bikes for rent which was great!

The mosquitos. But that is a problem everywhere on the island 🙂

Location was good but the lanes to reach were quite narrow and we had to walk for 300 m to get into the bus we had booked for our island tour

No staff available post 10 pm. So if you run into any issue then there is no help available.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were amazing. The room is super spacious and clean, and you could watch Netflix on the tv which we enjoyed. The outside scenery is so pretty, and you can wash your clothes here for free. The beach near by is gorgeous and takes about 5 minutes to walk there. You have to try the smoothie bowls at “Cà Phê Pha Máy” right by the beach, it’s the best!! There were so many animals here, and the dogs here were sooo cute!

You can actually hear some barking from the outside, but it was honestly no problem.

Extremely caring staff. You can always reach them out and get help. Even without asking they treat the guests with fruit, tea and some other small but very essential stuff. The pool is being cleaned every day. The territory as well. Highly recommended.

It was a very nice place and environment with a very good location. The staff were also very friendly and helpful (motorbike hire, tours etc...). When we arrived our room was infested with mosquitoes, but the staff solved the problem and it was mostly due to the transition between the rainy and dry seasons. Or rather, the bed was very hard for us. But apart from that, the accommodation as a whole was exceptional value for money in a wonderful atmosphere with plenty of facilities.

The resort is a little gem in the middle of busy Phu Quoc. It's very quiet and the little bungalows have a beautiful view. The are simple and functional and you feel that you are in nature. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good value for money.

Nice place with a relaxed aosphere in a great location, albeit a bit further away from the main road. Fine swimming pool.

Rooms/bugallows are close to each other so there's also a bit of a lack of privacy. Note there are quite some mosquitos. The overall comfort level is not the highest but at the offered price it is great value for money nonetheless.

Very nice welcoming. Nice quiet place with a pool from crowded streets. Beach is very close and also nice little bars with live music. The staff also helped us to get scooters.

Everything! A little slice of paradise. Close to everything and yet quiet and secluded. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, possibility to cook if wanted, nice pool, clean rooms and all around great and accommodating accommodation.

I liked everything!

There is something deeply restorative about staying in a place where nature has been so carefully embraced rather than tamed. The garden is a masterpiece—meticulously maintained yet wonderfully wild, filled with palms, vibrant flowers, and lush greenery, creating the feeling of a private jungle. The pool is excellent and a communal kitchen is available. The staff here embody the very essence of genuine hospitality—warm, attentive, and always ready with a smile. Their kindness is not just professional but deeply personal, creating an atmosphere where you feel not just like a guest, but truly welcomed. The beach is genuinely just 300 meters away, and we found ourselves strolling there almost daily—a rare luxury in many accommodations that claim proximity but don’t quite deliver. The owners—a thoughtful and well-organized couple—were always ready to assist, offering insights, recommendations, and the kind of unobtrusive hospitality that makes a stay feel personal. The rooms, while not luxurious, are spacious, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, with cleanliness largely depending on the specific room. ( 10 is great, 17 is not )

Being deep in nature, one must expect a fair share of mosquitoes and insects—it comes with the territory, and I completely understand that. However, upon arriving in our room (No. 17), we found it completely overrun with mosquitoes—far beyond the usual nuisance. I suspect the small bathroom windows had been left open, possibly for ventilation, allowing them to enter unchecked. When we asked about mosquito nets, we were offered plug-in mosquito repellent devices and incense, which, due to concerns about chemical exposure, were not an option for us. In the end, we had to find our own mosquito net, which was an inconvenience that could have been easily avoided. If mosquito nets were provided as standard, this place would undoubtedly be a 10/10 stay—a perfect balance of nature, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.

The hotel features a stunning tropical garden filled with palm trees, surrounded by charming bungalows. At its center lies a pristine swimming pool with several comfortable loungers. Guests can enjoy unlimited complimentary water, coffee, and tea. The hotel provides a complimentary washing machine for guests to use, and each room is equipped with a drying rack and hangers. Breakfast was included in the room rate, featuring a meal, fresh fruits, and a drink of your choice. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-10 minute walk from the main street, which is lined with restaurants, shops, and ATMs. The staff were exceptional. Although I arrived early, they promptly prepared my room, allowing me to check in within 10 minutes. During the short wait, they kindly offered me a complimentary iced tea. I enjoyed this hotel more than some of the pricier beach resorts in the north and east of the island, which felt too isolated for my liking.

Half of the swimming pool is shallow with a low water level due to its design, meaning adults can only swim comfortably in the deeper half. Furthermore, the bathroom becomes extremely slippery during a shower as the shower is positioned in the middle without a curtain or a drain nearby. Instead, the water flows to a drain next to the toilet in the corner, leaving the entire floor wet. Additionally, a rooster crowed continuously from 3:30 AM to 8:30 AM, waking me up at least six times. However, this issue is outside the hotel's control.

We really enjoyed our stay, as we escaped the traffic and chaos while staying close to everything we needed. Perfect pool and garden, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and it’s only an 8 minute walk to the best sunset on the beach (OCSEN Beach Bar). The staff are absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed it!

We chose to stay at a smaller, boutique style hotel in a good location. We read the previous reviews & decided on this hotel. It is smaller, but the staff were lovely, spoke good English, provided good service & were very helpful. The pool area is nice, but could do with a few more sun loungers for peak times. The hotel is close to the beach & main street, which are a 5 minute walk away. Bars, shops & restaurants are close by as well. On the whole we had a restful, peaceful time.

The hotel is a little bit tired & could do with some refurbishment (our bungalow), although it didn't impact on our stay. It was probably more our expectations were a little bit higher. Be aware, cockerels and dogs are in the area & can wake you up early in the morning.

The bungalow was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the shower. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The place felt like a great hideaway

This place is a little oasis. I felt so relaxed and content . Surrounded by nature Have Fun is so tranquil . My room was large clean and the bed was so comfortable. Shower hot and refreshing .The 2 ladies at front of house were fantastic so caring and helpful happy wonderful people. All the team were friendly and polite I didn’t want to leave but I will decently return.

A quiet, little paradise providing 18 bungalows around a pool, beautiful garden, very well maintained, lovely staff, taking care of everything, very clean, best place to relax, but everything you need incl beach, shops, plenty of restaurants in walking distance, water, coffee, tea for free whole day, washing maschine for use anytime available My personal thanks to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable and unforgettable

Everything was Perfect!!😎👍 A friendly high vibe little paradise with beautiful gardens, nice clean pool, delicious restaurant, super friendly family vibe hosts and staff!! ✨✨✨ Right in the middle of the best part of town with all the best bars and clubs and nice beaches, but tucked away so it’s super quiet and private. The bungalows are super cute zen functional and clean. Loved my bungalow. Everything just felt super easy for me here oh and awesome free breakfast and good coffee all morning long. Honestly, I booked for two nights but ended up staying an extra two weeks because I felt peaceful here😌🤍

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, quiet location but an easy walk to the beach and the main road for the free bus and King Kong supermarket. We liked it so much we returned a week later.

Place is really nice, we stayed 6 nights in total in 2 different rooms.

Unfortunately in one of the room (room #2) on the third (last) night we were heavily beaten by bedbugs. I didn’t see them and there were obvious visible signs though. Before we had mosquitos bites here and there in open body parts., that is ok. I don’t know why bedbugs came only on third night (maybe got hungry) but my and my husband’s whole back had so many bites , that were extremely itchy for 3 days and marks remaining till now. I had to buy anti allergy pills and cream, otherwise it was unbearable. I informed hotel about it, hope they will take measures. But it’s something any hotel can get. Otherwise everything was very clean and neat and I enjoyed the stay and facilities. There was no problem in room 5.

This is a fantastic bungalow in a beautiful garden with attractive pool. The staff are nothing less than amazing. I was here 36 days and they made me feel like home from the first second. Rooms are cleaned every day. Thank you Chung and Quyen to make my stay wonderful.

Everything was perfect 🤩 Don’t doubt, book it! Spacious clean, new bungalows with big bathroom. A lot if trees that create a shade. You can use kitchen, washing machine, all shops, restaurants, spas are around. Unbeatable price-value ratio here. Bed was firm, but comfortable. Nice blanket and pillows. No smells in the room , everything clean. It was a very relaxing stay and we extended it.

In our first room shower water pressure was very low, but in second was fine. Be aware of mosquitoes, but they provide anti-mosquito things in the room.

Beds literally like concrete, but the owner offered to change mattresses, when I mentioned it. The room was not soundproof at all, could hear everything from the next room, and insects /animals from outside at night. Extremely slippery bathroom floor when wet

Perfect tranquil haven after a long travel. Spacious comfortable rooms, super clean, great pool, free tea, coffee and water refills, free laundry which was an amazing bonus after 3 months in dusty India. Staff were lovely, , and Chung in particular was so helpful, even getting us a sim card delivered to the hotel. There was even a well-equipped shared kitchen and a bar. Close walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Good value too, can't fault anything.

Chung is an amazing manager and host. She gives service extraordinary. The housekeeping was great. The pool fantastic. Quiet perfect location. Good value for money. Close to everything, central, great motor bikes for rent at fair price. Owners on site very nice. I will return and love this place and people. Lots of towels provided. Anything needed was provided or given help.

Just a few wifi challenges but mainly it worked fine.

The bungalows and trees around, very nice relax atmosphere middle in the nature. The pool was also nice. Coffee, tea and water available for free, also washing machine. You can use the kitchen and cook if desired.

The street going to the accommodation is not well maintained. You dont have a good feeling when driving 1st time, but then you reach the bungalows like an oasis in the desert :-).

The location is excellent! It’s very close to the beach and very close to a lot of restaurants and tour agencies, but it’s far enough off the main street that it stays very quiet. the entire place is very well-maintained, and the pool is very clean. The staff is also incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything. This was such a great find!

It was kind of difficult to get the shower at just the right temperature. The slightest bit in either direction, and it was way too cold or way too hot. With the electricity on in the room at night, there was a a generator that ran. I actually liked the slight white noise of it, but it would periodically shut off and make a sound that would wake me up. But if you keep the electricity off while you’re sleeping, it’s fine. These aren’t big problems. Just anticipate them, and remember how great the price is for staying here.

Everything was more than perfect. The room was really big and clean, they even cleaned it daily. The laundry is free. Coffee and tea free. Quiet atmosphere.The best part was the swimming pool and the chance to use the kitchen. The location is great: Near the hotel there is a big supermarket. There is also a free bus to/from the airport (bus 17), and you can use this bus also to go to the city center (night market, grandworld or cheaper restaurants). The girls working there are all super nice!

My stay here is totally worth for money. The staff really really nice and helpful. We can use the kitchen utensils and washing machine for free. The beach is nearby (but the way from main road to the bungalow is quite far and a little dirty). Anw I really satisfied with my stay here. Recommend!

Location is perfect, nice and quiet but 5 min walk to the beach, lovely clean pool and kitchen, staff were all fantastic and went above and beyond, rooms cleaned every day, great shower. Hard to find fault with this place for the money.

The only thing I could say negative (and it’s if I’m really trying) was the joining rooms we’re not overly soundproof but only an issue if someone is directly outside.

We had an amazing week stay here! The place is absolutely beautiful, with a great sized pool and gorgeous surroundings. The rooms are modern, spotless and super comfy. Our highlight had to be the staff. The owners are absolutely lovely, the ladies who work reception will do everything to make your stay perfect and the cleaners work the whole day to make the hotel so clean, cleaning your room daily too. Free tea and coffee every day, offerings of fresh fruit (and even dinner one night). A place that felt like profit wasn’t their main aim and the effort to make their customers happy was exceptional. Thank you!
