Strange stuff and attitude

The room was neat and tidy. The owner was very sweet and kind in nature.

The hostel lacked vibe and the price was a bit too much for a shared dorm.

Good view, only music playing, nice pool and pool table, super friendly staff.

The property is fantastic. Feels like a luxury hostel with river side facing pool and lots of other board/table games. Shoutout to the team as well Amit, for helping me across my stay!

Everything was fantastic

My stay at Downtown Hostels could not have been better. Cannot believe I got so lucky and at such a great price! Aircon, fan, great location, beautiful nature and birdwatching on the backwaters, delicious food, most beautiful bathroom I’ve used in the places I’ve stayed in India so far, private balcony for workouts, pool, good wifi, and the staff! Every single member of staff was so lovely, so respectful, and so good at their jobs! Amit the manager went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and for that I’m so incredibly grateful :) Shree Hari yoga does great drop in classes just a four minute walk away - worth checking out. Definitely hope to return one day!

Downtown Hostel has a charming vibe for the first timers. Clean rooms & dormitories with 24/7 air conditioner. Fantastic location alongside the river.

The in house food cafeteria does provide food to the guests on order, however the pricing is slightly high. Good food with reasonable pricing would be appreciated.

The place is aesthetically nice and there is a nice cafe/restaurant, Pool and cool paintings. The staff were really nice and I met many nice people here.

For the most times it was clean in the bathrooms, but could have been nice with a thrash can or floormat before the shower.

Cleanliness. Cheap price for the day. Swimming pool& pool table. And a restaurant. A guy named ankit.

This is not the places fault. But there were some very few rude customers. You know some other people i was staying with. But i guess its a given when u stay in a hostel

The staff is really friendly and nice overall great service by Ankit, Amit and Jurham Sardar , Durham has been looking into all of my food needs perfectly. The place is clean with a nice pool and chilled out restaurant area. Perfect for solo travellers , they will also help you with hiring bikes and taxis so every base is covered. Came to stay just two nights and ended up staying pretty much my whole trip here.

The view was beautiful and the atmosphere was chill.Also, good food by the chef. Ankit and Amit both were amazing hosts. Would definitely visit again!

My stay at Downtown Arambol - The River Side Hostel was absolutely delightful. The serene location, with its beautiful river view and peaceful surroundings, made it a perfect spot to unwind. Amit, the host, was the highlight of my experience! His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and helpful nature made my stay truly memorable. Amit went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect, offering great local tips and always being available for assistance. The hostel was clean, well-maintained, and had a friendly vibe.

There’s hardly anything to dislike. If I had to nitpick, the Wi-Fi speed could be improved

Clean rooms, good vibes, and a convenient location. The pool was a lifesaver in the Goan heat.

The property is amazing with beautiful views near to sea . Right on the river . The pool is big and clean and looks amazing with greenery all around. However it was raining but staff made my day . Would love to be back soon here .
