Aris Soho Balcony Suites Saigon District 1

The apartments were okay with comfortable beds, good wifi and a good washing machine for laundry.

The "hot" water was not even luke warm - not very pleasant to have cool showers, but also not hygienic for washing dishes. And the kitchens were poorly equipped for the number of people. okay if you're planning to eat out all the time.

Beautiful place to stay and had everything our family needed. Spacious and clean, and great location. Also very grateful for the helpful staff accommodating our very last minute booking.

Nothing

I did not have many dealings with the staff so cannot comment but they were polite..the hotel was very nice

None

Location

Pictures not like actual apartment. Insects crawling. No maintenance.

Room was changed last minute so we were seperate even though we asked to stay on same floor. Studio apartment had no bedside table. The sheets were not clean and the spare pillows were dirty.

The staff was professional and courteous, making sure we had everything we needed.

The apartment was in a perfect location, very convenient for exploring the city. It was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The only downside was that the check-in process took a bit longer than expected.

This apartment was amazing! Located right in the center, it was easy to explore the city. The place was spotless, well-furnished, and had everything we needed. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

Good apartments, nice location. Affordable price. Great air con.

We loved the location and the well air conditioned room. Security level is great and also the little cafe attached to building/residence.

It’s centrally located, super clean and tidy. We got a high floor (32nd) and it had a great view of the city

When the fridge did not work, they were very kind to offer a cooler box, filled to the brim with beer!! That was a very nice touch.

Lovely apartment, very comfortable and clean.

Host was very accommodating and quick with their responses. Pretty good stay

AC in all the rooms. The size of the apartment was good. The location was good. Price was commensurate with the apartment.

The beds were hard. There wasn't enough cutlery. The bidet hose leaked. They changed the building from when we first booked and this ond didn't have a pool. The check in was great as you arrive and then have to wait until someone shows up. The reception staff do not do the check in. The rubbish bins are too small.

Friendly staffs

I was a bit confused at the beginning due to no receptionist all contact by phone network. However, the manager is very cheerful and helpful

The building was very close to the city centre. I felt safe in the evenings as it was a serviced appartement. The host met me on arrival and it was very easy to check in. The appartement complex has two supermarkets, which is nice.

The building is not that quiet as there are many roads surrounding it. The facilities were alright but the cleanliness can be improved. There is. a pool in the building but you have to book it in advance.

It’s located next to a GS25 & 7/11

• STAFF HARD TO CONTACT • The bed was not comfortable • To access the pool you needed staff to get you into the area - our personal experience: took 4 people in 10 mins from the lobby to the pool area (excluding wait time as staff were difficult to communicate with) • You are not able to access the gym (as you are NOT a resident) • On the listing it mentions Breakfast available, which is not This place also mentions NO SHORT TERM RENTALS/STAY (which we did, however, didn’t know about…)

Ok location, fairly good communication with staff.

Room not as photoed or advertised. The Appartment wasnt even close to any of the photos on the site. Pool was not accessible. Not very clean. On top of that they changed the price to 10x lower than we actually paid them to tax dodge. Would not recommend at all.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location with breathtaking views. The pool area is beautifully designed and maintained. My room was spotlessly clean, and the entire property is well-kept.

The hotel's location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the city center, and it was convenient to have two supermarkets downstairs. The room was bright and well-lit, with extremely comfortable beds and the added convenience of a washing machine. The pool area was spacious and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot to unwind.

The location is decent, and the bedrooms serve their purpose adequately. The air conditioning works fine. The kitchen has the essentials, though the knives could be better quality. Overall, it's not a bad experience.

The price matches the quality well, and I appreciate the helpful staff and convenience. The location is good, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the scenery is quite nice.

My stay at this hotel was budget-friendly. The apartment I had was comfortable despite a few scratches, and the pool, usually open to guests, was closed for maintenance on Monday morning.

I really appreciate the hotel's location and having two supermarket on the ground floor is so convenient.

BEFORE YOU BOOK, READ ABOUT WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE FIRST. The location is great, the facilities could be cleaner but you have everything you need. Everything LOOKS modern but is made cheaply with poor craftsmanship. In the end, I do believe the host tried their best however; we can't dispute the roller coaster ride we experienced with booking this place.

I wish I could write a detailed review about our stay but booking.com limits how long our review can be so here it is: - we did NOT get what we booked. We booked a two-bedroom apartment but upon checking in we were told different stories about why it's not available (air conditioning not working, no two-bedroom available). - we ended up having to stay in a studio apartment for our family of 4 the first night. While my son was napping, someone used their key card to come into the apartment UNANNOUNCED. - the next day we were told we could move to a two-bedroom apartment. While we told the host our son had just gone down for a nap and we could move after he wakes, someone came into our room AGAIN unannounced, waking him. It was a cleaning lady who was there to clean the room before the next guest arrives. By not giving us the two-bedroom apartment we had booked, we were essentially being 'checked out' making it very inconvenient for our family's schedule. - the kitchen drawers, utensils, bed linens and pillows were dirty - there were laundry left in the washing machine - we were not provided apartment details such as wifi, garbage disposal, etc until we asked for this info - when we asked the host if we can have a late check out, she said it will be $7USD/hour. We wanted to check out 4 hours later so we agreed on the $28USD charge. We told the host we could pay cash and she had her staff come collect the money. Upon collection, the staff told us because our bills were not new, the dollar value would be less if they exchanged it to VND so therefore we need to pay an extra $5USD. This is ridiculous. How the money exchange works in Vietnam has nothing to do with us.

Staff were nice

Not able to use the gym Parking too expensive for the day, compared to other apartment in the area

I found the hotel's location extremely convenient, with plenty of nearby convenience stores and an abundance of local food options just a stone's throw away. Plus, its distance from the bustling district 1 ensured a quiter stay.

On the flip side, accessing the gym proved to be a bit of a hassle. Having to seek staff assistance during office hours (9am - 5pm) to use the gym facilities was inconvenient for me.

My rxperience at this hotel was marked by its exceptional location, just a short 5-minute walk from the bustling food street and Bui Vien's vibrant walking street. Situated in a prime spot with a view of the river, it provided easy access to the city's attractions. The staff members were not only helpful but also very friendly. The check-in and check-out processes were seamless, without any hassle. When I encountered an isseu with my damaged wntry visa and needed a copy, the customer service team promptly and sincerely printed it out for me, without any charge. Their, commitment to excellent service team promptly and sincerely printed it out for me, without and charge. Their commitment to excellent service truly impressed me.

However, it's worth mentioning that the room we had reserved was not the one we were assigned upon arrival.

Fridge was big, washing machine worked well. Had convenience store on the ground floor.

Smelly toilet 24/7, bed was uncomfortable, difficult check in process. Had no where to hang washed clothes.

I found all the instructions to be clear and received prompt responses to all my messages. While the pool was satisfactory, there were limited sunbeds available, and the water was colder than expceted. The kitchen amenities, including the fridge, freezer, stove, and kettle, met my expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortably firm. The cleanliness of the place left something to be desired, particularly the kitchen cabinets. Despite being on the 20th floor, the room left hot even with the air conditioning running. Additionally, the room was cramped for three people.

Upon arrival, Raymond warmly welcomed me and provided a thorough explanation of the apartment's amenities. The apartment exceeded my expectations with its inclusion of a washing machine, a delightful surprise. Its prime location adjacent to dictrict 1 further enhanced my experience. I enthusiatically endorse this apartment for its security and outstanding service. Without a doubt, I plan to return for future stays.

The immaculate cleanliness, convenient amenities, and prime location make this hotel an excellent choice for families seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This immaculate apartment boasts a comprehensive array of amenties, including a washing machine and cooking utensils, all of which exude a sense of freshness and meticulous upkeep. Notably, Rivergate offers an appealing environment for families, thanks to its inclusion of a pool and adjacent recreational area, making it an ideal choice for family-oriented living.

Nestled just minutes away from the bustling city center, this accommondation offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. With two supermarkets conveniently situated on the ground floor, your daily needs are easily met. Nice room, the inclusion of a washing machine adds a touch of practicality to your stay, making it effortless to maintain your routines.

There is a 7-11 underneath

Door lock was flakey. I got locked out on night one, but they put me in another room. Was a speedy response and they fixed it the next day:

The location of the hotel is superb and we were pleased with the spacious and pristine room. Anthesis exuding a delightful old-world charm and character.

We have no complaints

Comfy bed

We weren’t allowed to use the pool as it was full but there was deffo space. We couldn’t use the gym. There was an erotic photo of a lady in our room which was very uncomfortably inappropriate. The staff were rude and spoke to us like fools.

Pool was good, room was spacious with good view of the city. Easy walk to District 1.

Bed was uncomfortably hard.

Smooth check-in and check-out processes, Anna's friendliness, prompt responses, and accommodating nature were notable. The serene studio is located within the Millennium apartment building, boasting an appealing pool and excellent gym facilities. The presence of a washing machine added to our convenience.

The location, close to everything yet quiet. Large apartment with swimming pool and great view!

Slightly superficial cleaning and maintenance.

We stayed at the 18th and 9th floor, in both Spacious and comfortable apartment with swimming pool. Really easy access to the city centre and foods markets , restaurants right next to the building.

It was advertised as sleeping 8 people, but there were only 3 double beds. The makeshift bed that the host provided when we brought this up was not the most comfortable. Would definitely be a squeeze with more than 6 people. There were also ants everywhere, including some in the bedrooms, which was unfortunate.

Everything is good about this apartment. Very suitable for big family or friends group

The time of arrival was not met. we had to wait 40 mins with the luggage until apartment was ready. One room has a very hard bed, one of us even slept in the sofa because of it.

The apartment was neat and comfortable

Arrived before check-in time. Security informed that one cannot sit in the lobby. Guests have to come to the lobby with luggage only after the room is ready. The restaurant owners on the premises were accommodating. They allowed us to come in with our bags.

The size of the room is great compared to similar hotels within the same rate around the area. It is easy to get to the main attraction and it is not too much crowded as per other hotels around the area. It is also not to noisy at night so you can have your peaceful baby sleep that you need.

I had a truly enjoyable stay at this apartment. The apartment is comfortable, with modern furnishings and ample space. I will definitely return to stay here.

- good location - hosts were responsive at the beginning for a smooth check in - security at the building made us feel safe

- pictures did not match what we stayed in - had to book to use the pool and we’re only able to stay for 1 hour per day - ants all over the counter tops - big hole in the bathroom ceiling - laundry left hanging outside - cockroaches in the apartment - no response from hosts when asked for money back after explaining issues - very disappointed and would not recommend staying here

Not enough toilet paper. The door knob in the master bedroom was broken. Some remote control AC out of not working properly.

Convenient with the washer

Lovely apartment

Security staff - not at all courteous or helpful

House was big and view is nice.

Everything was good just the owner or staff did not give more instruction on how to check in and other information.

Location, view from the balcony, new modern equipment, nicely furnished

We booked the AirPort transfer but the communication to find the apartment was still difficult, they didnt communicate with each other. The apartment was not that clean, we found a lot of ants,(fridge, livingroom, kitchen) silverwear was not clean. Mattress was used. Dirty carpet.

The staff were great. Great value for money.

I picked the wrong location but for some people who want to experience the more traditional side of Vietnam (noisy, chaotic) may like this. A little tricky as had to go to an office but the instructions on WhatsApp were clear (just a little unnerving at first as I don't speak any Vietnamese and it was my first time there. They wanted to charge to hold my luggage for an hour on the last day which was a little disappointing seeing as they had a location set aside for that.

Everything but the best was the pool

It was not the apartment as shown in the picture but another apartment with the size in the same building. We stayed at floor 26 with a great view over the city. The location is very central with easy and quick access to the city center. The communication with Ms.Daisy was quick and efficient and we enjoyed our stay greatly.

The most convenient location in the city. Everything you need can be bought nearby. Very polite staff, everything is done quickly.

Excluded. Everything is great.

The contact person gave us a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the 29th floor and we enjoyed the fireworks on the night of Reunification Day.

Nothing

Next to the local market and plenty of shops downstairs for all your needs.

Although the contact person was quick to answer any enquiries on WhatsApp, I would book a spot with a proper front desk with a receptionist.

Convenient with the washer

Not enough toilet paper. The door knob in the master bedroom was broken. Some remote control AC out of not working properly.

Nice view from all rooms, big apartment with kitchen and smart TVs. Staff were helpful with my requests. I'll definitely come back! The place is elegant and cosy, great location, clear and easy self check in instructions.

The mattress for 2 bedrooms are extremely hard. We stayed there for 2 weeks and didn't have good sleep on that beds.

The place is the perfect accommodation for groups or families. The location is perfect, there are local markets and restaurant around as well as convenient stores below the building. Our host Thuy is amazing. From booking taxis, spas, restaurants, tours and recommendations for places to visit, she was very helpful and welcoming. Being a Vietnam citizen, she suggested the best places to try local food, where to exchange money, how to book a taxi, she basically went out of his way to make out stay as memorable as possible. It was a short but very happy holiday. Will definitely come back if time permits. Thank you so much Thuy, you are the best!

I would suggest having some information on places to visit in English and some basic Vietnamese conversation to be translated to English because it's been difficult speaking to locals but everything else is manageable.

Very good location- you have everything downstairs, a mini supermarket, two convenience stores and even a pharmacy. The building is also a short 10 min drive to D1. safety- security guards were friendly and you need a keycard for a specific floor so there is that added layer of safety

The beds are hard and stiff, would like a softer bed

We love this place. Although only for a short time here, it was enough to feel. Fully furnished for guests and room very clean. We especially loved the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I will come back here when I get the chance!

The Western restaurants were not offer me the Menu.

Love the coziness of the place, really does feel like home away from home. If you don't plan to leave the place much, it's a great place to retreat to with the facilities around the place. And if you do plan to go out to explore, there are places a few mins drive away like Bui Vien street & Ben Thanh market.

Booking with the hotel was very easy and confirmation was quick. The location was perfect for the activities, I had planned and for things like shops, restaurants and the like. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and facilities kept to a high standard.

I have no access to the gym

We had a great stay. Staff team was great. It is very fast to go to the city center.

The security guards at the parking lot.

Center location. Thank you Bobby so much !!

Sevice and there was lined out the quotation Gym Not acceptable at all

Decent location, clean and everything works. Pool was lovely, and definitely good value for money.

A little to complain about. There didn't seem to be any surprises. We got what we paid for and expected. Check in could have been smoother, but nothing dramatic.

Spacious apartment, beautiful view, airy high floor. Near the center, convenient for visiting the city

Very nice and spacious apartment in a good location and at a reasonable price. Nice pool with a view.

Everything here is designed to make guests feel satisfied and comfortable. The experiences at Stay Shome are truly unforgettable."

The apartment was spacious and elegant, with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, making me feel at home. The pool was the best part, with a breathtaking view of the river and the skyline. This was the perfect place to enjoy the beauty and charm of Ho Chi Minh City."

The apartment was immaculate and stylish, with a modern design and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were very kind and professional, always going the extra mile to make me happy. The pool was fantastic, with a gorgeous view of the city and the water. This was the ideal place to experience the culture and excitement of Ho Chi Minh City.

Very modern apartment in easy access of downtown (well, a 5-10 min walk, but that's part of the experience). And as the name suggests, pretty spacious! Nice to have an outdoor area available with pool and gym as well.

The room we were given was nothing like the rooms advertised on booking.com. As soon as they showed us to the room I complained immediately and said this was nothing like what we booked (much much smaller, very cramped, much uglier, poor aircon, very smelly drains which gave a disgusting smell to the tiny apartment from the bathroom). I asked to swap to one of the nicer apartments (as pictured on Booking.com). They said if we wanted to swap we had to pay more for a nicer room, and when I complained and said we shouldn't have to pay more, they pushed back and we argued via whatsapp for hours. Eventually we did pay more to move, but they wouldn't move us until the next day. We then found out its actually illegal for this particular building to do short-term holiday lets, which made us feel uncomfortable - we didn't like staying somewhere where we were unknowingly breaking the building rules - there are signs in every elevator, and by the entrances making it very clear that this activity was illegal. Overall we did eventually get moved to a nicer room, but they wouldn't give us the same price (we ended up having to pay more), and we spent hours arguing via whatsapp to get moved from our disgusting and tiny original room. It felt like a bit of a scam and I didn't like that we had no office/manager to go to when we needed to speak to someone - just got given a number via whatsapp to complain to.
