Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines „Dörfchen“ mit mehrere Lodges. Die Häuser sind liebevoll eingerichtet und haben alles was man braucht. In der Unterkunft gibt es auch ein Restaurant für Frühstück sowie Abendessen und uns hat es dort sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können einen Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall empfehlen, denn eine Nacht in einer Lodge darf bei einer Reise in Afrika nicht fehlen:)

The peace and tranquility it provides. Being on the mountain side it makes you feel like you are one with nature. The yard and walk ways are super clean and the rooms are cozy

The pool was not heated and the restaurant doesn’t have variety of stuff for sale. The bottled water is only offered for sale only.

My overall experience was very pleasant... From the time we entered till the time we left. The rooms are neat and clean. The scenery excustite..panaronic breathe taking views.breakfast was amazing. Absolute bliss...was sad to be leaving

The bed wasn't to comfortable, also the spa bath wasn't like my previous experience. I'm aware that the facility may be using bore water that could be the reason why the water was brown. Also the TV is placed to far from the bed. I would suggest a bigger television. I know it's a self catering facility but it would help placing a microwave,plates,mop dishwashing liquid to clean.

The price was decent and the service was good.

The WiFi signal was very bad.

For the fridge to be a bit bigger as it is very tiny. At least a few dstv channels or Netflix. A basin to wash your cups and glasses as there is only a bathroom basin, bath sheets as the towels are small. . The cottage we stayed in you heard the traffic up close so it wasn't very peaceful.

Café da manhã e jantar é muito bom, vale muito a pena, e o quarto atendeu muito bem as expectativas, extremamente silencioso, aconchegante.

Wifi é extremamente ruim. e a equipe que fez o check in faltou nos apresentar todas as acomodações em comum do lodge, pois há muitas áreas comuns que não ficamos sabendo como funciona (spa, sala de jogos, etc)

The staff was exceptional, they were extremely helpful and so kind. We had a fantastic couples massage at the spa and we loved the hike through the pools and the breakfast was fantastic.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We enjoy the location and the cosy accommodation. It was a wonderful honeymoon stay and we'll definitely be back. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and always smiling.

Everything was good. We could maybe suggest having a smart TV for rainy evenings. Even if guests log in to the own streaming accounts But not a necessity.

The bottom line is that I felt a let happier and more relaxed when I left than when I arrived. It's a restorative place. Breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly.

The TV in the room is ancient and only has terrestrial channels, the remote didn't work, and it could only be turned off at the wall.. Either replace with a smart TV or remove entirely. There was a bright light outside that shone into thw room.

I loved the view and the feel of being in a cabin in the forest makes it such an authentic experience.

Check in was seamless and very efficient, room was as advertised per the bookingh and very clean, neat and tidy.

On check out I enquired if we could delay the checkout by an hour, due to us doing a cycling event that started very early and if possible we would like to shower before checking out. I was told that they would have to check with the manager, but it is his off weekend and they are not prepared to contact him/her to ask if my request can be accommodated. I do understand the request was not communicated before check in and clarified, but the checkout staff did not try to at least help us in any way with our request. A blunt "no" was the only reply.

Enthousiast personeel, warme ontvangst, braaien werd volledig verzorgd aangeleverd met hout vlees en salades, we hoefden alleen maar zelf te braaien. Werkelijk schitterende omgeving en heel mooie lodges. Heerlijk ontbijt ook.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I believe the dinner experience could be improved. Considering the price charged for dinner, I expected better quality, especially when it came to the meat dishes. The value for money simply wasn’t there, as the quality of the food did not match the price. I was also disappointed by the lack of gluten-free options. Nowadays, many guests have dietary restrictions, and offering a wider range of gluten-free choices would make the dining experience much better. I hope these points can be taken into consideration, as they would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

It was dirty. The cabin we were given looks like all the oldest things were in there. The fridge was rusted. The toilet had old limescale build up. The hot tub was dirty and had lots of hair in the spa filter. The carpets were torn. The earth leakage kept tripping. The hot tubs spray nozzle was coming apart and was spraying all over

Our room had everyhting as promised, including a fireplace and working hot tub. They made a small effort with vegan options. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit.

The vegan options could have been much better. On booking they had confirmed that they could cater for vegans, however when I arrived they had some difficulty,

Would definitely recommend for a short overnight or weekend stay, but not comfortable for longer stay. Only kettle and small bar fridge in room, no cutlery or plates or facilities to make own food in your own unit. Wifi inconsistent, and often doesn't work in room, especially frustrating when there's no signal.

Food and restaurants staff was exceptional. Kind-hearted and attentive staff. Safe setting, but also feel like you are far away enough for adequate privacy.

Some of the finishings in the room are very dated. Clean and well maintained though.

The location, the coziness of the chalet, the fireplace and the jacuzzi bath. The icing on the cake for us was the amazing staff and their willingness to go the extra mile for their guests. It made me so proud as a South African to experience that true African welcome. I will most certainly come back again.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality; the reception team was welcoming, the restaurant staff was fantastic, and even the outdoor crew paused their work to offer to carry our luggage. If you love nature and need an escape from the city's hustle and bustle, this peaceful property is the ultimate retreat, complete with fun trails to explore. Our loft cabin was the perfect blend of cozy and luxurious for a winter getaway, equipped with air conditioning and a gorgeous indoor fireplace. We had brought our own wood, but were thrilled to find a chest already fully stocked with wood, matches, and fire lighters for both the indoor and outdoor fires, plus the bar fridge had plenty of space for our groceries. To top it all off, the buffet breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely amazing—this was hands down the best experience ever and we will no doubt be back!

While our overall stay was amazing, there were a few minor plumbing issues and missing amenities that could really elevate the experience. The main drawback was the weak water pressure; the toilet flushed incredibly slowly, we couldn’t use the bathroom basin tap and the bath simultaneously, and it took over an hour just to fill up the spa bath. As a suggestion for future improvements, it would be wonderful if the loft cabins were equipped with their own plates, cutlery, and a microwave. If you are braaing outside, having a way to easily reheat leftovers or prep food inside the cabin would be a game-changer. Addressing these quick fixes would turn an already great getaway into an absolutely flawless one!

Dinner was acceptable - not great. Yes, the area was battered by the recent storms - but one month later, garden lights are not operational and makes it difficult to navigate in the dark

The first night the water was slow and no electricity but the staff was rather gracious and rectified everything the following day. Excellent service.

The chalet is spacious, the TV works well, and the shower has good water pressure (although the bathtub couldn't be used due to the current water shortage). Breakfast was decent, though nothing exceptional. There are several nice walking trails starting directly from the property. Secure parking is available, towels are provided, and the chalet includes a kettle with tea and coffee. The small terrace overlooking the forest is lovely, and there is a barbecue available, although you'll need to bring or buy all the necessary supplies. Please note that there is no washing machine.

The main downside was the strong smell of dampness throughout the chalet. The bed was broken, uncomfortable, and too small for two adults. Light insulation was poor, the carpet was dirty, and the staff were not particularly welcoming. We believe this chalet is better suited for summer, as the winter humidity made the whole place feel damp, sticky, and quite uncomfortable.

It’s a beautiful lodge and well maintained. The cabin was comfy with all needed items. The spa bath tub was a real bonus with enough hot water to enjoy it. Loved our stay!

I pre-ordered a snack platter via email as it was my husbands birthday but upon arrival the snack plate had not been delivered and no mention of it was made. That was a little disappointing. However I didn’t complain about it as I was meant to pay upon check in and we weren’t very hungry so decided just to leave it.

It was an amazing experience to be out in the wild with a beautiful view of trees and breathing fresh air. The breakfast feast in the morning was wonderful.

It's quite a peaceful environment,weekend was cold so the availability of a working aircon for warmth was amazing,the services of the porters was incredible really leaving us relaxed and not having to worry about carrying our load.The room had a lot of important amenities which really came in handy.The breakfast offered was nothing short of tasty and delicious.This was indeed a great place to clear the mind and just relax

We loved our stay! The location and how the lodge is set up makes you feel that you are close to nature and still comfortable and close to all the amenities (restaurant, pool, etc) that the lodge has to offer. We could truly relax.

It was cold and wind outside ,and we want to braai and drink whiskey,but was so cold and we are pensioners, please do something' and no curtains on top of bungalow,and not nice if want to sleep or early morning ,and toilet corner to small for me

The tv did not have sound they tried to fix it but it did not work. the light in the path back to the room did not work making it difficult to see were to walk coming back from supper the shower is very small, and the drain was blocked the water eventually ran over

Signal and WiFi was an issue in the room

Entrance to property came up rather suddenly seeing youre traveling on a national road.. signage to turn off should be situated a little further from turn off. The meals were lovely.. there was a bit of everything. Charity is such a lovely lady.. very friendly and helpful.

A few basic bar essentials were out of stock.. The bathrooms can be updated and made a bit more modern... attention needs to be given to drainage.. our shower took forever to drain.

Encantadores bungalows de madera rodeados de naturaleza, muy acogedores y perfectos para desconectar. Las vistas al jardín y el jacuzzi en la habitación hacen que la estancia sea todavía más especial. Además, el restaurante merece una mención especial: comida deliciosa y un personal increíblemente amable y atento.
