Park view Avalon Apartment District 1 HCM City

We stayed at Park View Avalon Apartment as a family of four and found it to be in a fantastic location. It's an easy and interesting 10-minute walk into the heart of District 1, passing many of Ho Chi Minh City's historical landmarks along the way. There are also plenty of cafés, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It offered plenty of room for our family and represented good value for money. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the apartment to families looking for a spacious base in a great location. With a little investment to refresh the apartment and replace the beds, this could easily become a 10/10 property.

That said, the apartment is beginning to show its age and would benefit from some refurbishment to bring it back to the standard shown in the listing photos. The décor and furnishings feel a little tired, and the mattresses were not particularly comfortable and could do with being replaced.

The apartment in a very convenient location, and the room is more spacious than other hotels we’ve stayed at. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. Great value for money.

Great location and big area/large apartment space

One of the bedrooms reaked of mildew/sewage and there was visible mold in the rooms. The two bathroom only had one working shower, and the security was very strict so we weren’t allowed in to the property in a rainstorm to check in until the host arrived, and he was late. He did try to arrange cleaning service to resolve the sewage like smell but unfortunately it made little difference in the stay.

Ruim appartement met twee slaapkamers en twee badkamers, keuken, woonkamer, wasmachine en droger en prachtig uitzicht op het park van het independence palace. Midden in District 1 en vlakbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Beveiligd appartementencomplex.

Een paar lampjes waren stuk, dat hebben we gemeld en wordt gerepareerd.

very helpful & friendly staff. always answered my questions when i texted them. they did real life card payment which was great! the apartment is quiet big & the bathrooms aswell. location was great close to everything (activities, restaurants, markets & bars)

Les problèmes d’ascenseur, d’humidité, les meubles en mauvais états (ouverture placard) et une salle de bain sans eau chaude. La wifi est assez mauvaise.

Blow dryer is not allowed to use in the bathroom. So I have to use it in the living room plug but there's no mirror nearby! Light is too dim in the bathroom and hallway. In short, it is inconvenient to female who need to blow dry their hair and do makeup. Also, there's a construction job going in the unit above making lots of loud noises during the day. We were unable to have afternoon naps.

there was a renovation next door, so the noise was somewhat annoying during the daytime.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Ho Chi Minh City. The location is excellent – just next to the Reunification Palace, which made it very convenient for exploring the city’s main attractions on foot. The apartment itself is very spacious and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether for a short visit or a longer trip. It truly felt like a home away from home. The service was also outstanding – very responsive, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, space, and a prime location in HCMC.

２つあるベッドルームのうち、１つが非常に臭くてリビングで寝ることにした。エアコンのカビの匂いか、床清掃の水の臭さがわからないがとてもその部屋では過ごせなかった。 バスタブがあったが、入浴した直後の下水のにおいが臭くてひどかった。 チェックアウト後に荷物を預けられないことが盲点だった。

Nice and clean apartment at a strategic location, which is walking distances to a lot of attractions like Independence Palace, War Rennant Museum, Post Office, etc.. Apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was also washing machine and a dryer. Overall a very nice stay.

This apartment, they have everything complete from kitchen, and bathroom facilities. Spacious and strategic location. I want to stay again when I return to Saigon on 26 March but sadly this apartment full booked. Seng the host also very polite and welcome.

The property is extremely spacious and comfortable - all the amenities one needs and then some.Friendly host available for easy check in and inquiries. Easily able to plug our fire stick into the tv to catch up on fav programs when relaxing. Water pressure great and hot for showers. Towels numerous and clean. Beds comfortable. The location is perfect- a short walk to iconic buildings- Notre Dame cathedral, Post Office etc., numerous coffee shops, restaurants from street side to high end and everything in between. Luke Nguyen’s restaurant Vietnam House is nearby and def well worth a visit. (Reservation) As is ST25 by KOTO at Sofitel Saigon - training street kids in hospitality- food and service amazing. Also walking distance is Ben Thanh market - worth a visit if you are up for braving the hordes. Nearby is a little restaurant down an alley-Bep Me In. Delicious. Other mentions in the area- Au Parc.and sister Vietnamese restaurant next door. If you get the chance on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening - book a taxi to Saxn’Art Club to listen to one of the greatest jazz saxophonists- Tran Manh Tuan. The open roof top bus night tour to see the city illuminations is also well worth a go. Great to see the extent of development in this v vibrant city. Vietnam now has Grab- so use this app for taxis- cheap as chips- if it’s too hot even for a short walk. No more haggling price. Please remember to tip in the app as the cost for a taxi is beyond reasonable. Enjoy this great city- so much to see and do and if it’s all getting a bit too much- your comfortable, air conditioned, ceiling fan apartment is nearby to have a quick nap.😉

L’agencement de l’appartement Sa situation au centre ville près de tout L’entretien effectué 2 fois par semaine Fourniture de produits (lessive - produit vaisselle …)et de beauté (shampoing - gel douche - etc) Résidence toujours bien entretenue . À conseiller.

The property is dated and you can expect little. You’ll need to pay VND200k per use for the gym and swimming pool. What a rip-off!

Everything was perfect!

Location was quite good. Everything was withint the walking distance of 15-20 mins! The house was in impeccable condition - very clean and had cutlery as well so if you want to cook, you've got everything you need.

The apartment was very spacious, more than expected. The showers were the best, very spacious, hot shower with great water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Host is very responsive and the location is great. Within walking distance to the centre of HCMC.

The washing machine could be cleaner.

The space is sparkling clean. There are huge windows all around the house so it is bright and uplifting. The kitchen has tea bags and water boiler and a big fridge. The washer and dryer also saved our day since we ran out of clothes and we managed to finish a load of clothes.

We don't seem to know how to prevent the water from running off the bathtub so had to put a lot of towels around the edge to block the water. The bathroom was a nice standup shower so we used that one instead.

Stunning apartment. Clean and sooo spacious. Seng was fantastic meeting us for check in on time.

The apartment is not new but well-maintained and elegant. Everything is clean. The location is a plus. i can walk to many sightseeing destinations. Great communication from the host, Seng. The kitchen is fully equipped, I got everything I need to cook dinner for our group

The shower head in the room may need a fixing but the water pressure an heater are working great!

There is a bar across the road from the building. It can get noisy at times at night. The building is located in a perpetually congested area with heavy traffic.

This is a residential building. On the fassade, in the lobby and in the elevator are signs indicating that short rental for these apartments is prohibited. See the pictures. It is not clear if you as a guest are in violation, but this is the opposite of hospitality and it seems these apartments should not be available on booking.com
