Aunque es un edificio antiguo, la ubicacion es inmejorable para recorrer Mt Manganui. La decoracion interior está tal como en las fotos: muy buen gusto e impecable. Los servicios ofrecidos en el apartamento son fantasticos, con mucha preocupacion por cosas para un te/cafe y para lavar ropa.

Aislacion acústica no es muy buena, se escucha a los vecinos. En invierno, los elementos para aportar calefaccion son insuficientes, en particular en la cama que está en el balcón convertido en dormitorio.

An unbeatable location, very comfortable and homey, with sunny north-facing windows and view of the Mount. Well appointed kitchen, full fridge/freezer which was perfect for my longer stay.

The multitude of heaters, fans and dehumidifier was a bit confusing. Wheelie bins in the ground floor made the stairwell a bit smelly

Location was exceptional with Mauao was in the background, glorious!

The property was ultra clean, very handy to beach, and restaurants but in a quiet location. The owners were helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I would stay there again as would my travelling partners.

The decor is lovely - really understated and calming. I love the retained retro touches and the feature wallpaper in the bedroom. The location is fantastic - a few minutes walk to the beach and eateries. Parking right outside the door is great. Great view of the Maunga.

The wallpaper in the bedroom needs resticking. The sofa bed was so comfy but the bedding didn’t fit. I couldn’t get the fitted sheet to lie flat and I couldn’t find a duvet cover that fitted the duvet.

It is very handy to Mauao and the township and there is a great view of Mauao from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A lot is fitted into a relatively small space taken by the apartment.

There was actually only one bedroom with another small double bed in the sunroom adjacent to the open lounge and the couch can also be used as a bed.

It's difficult to improve on the facilities & comfort of this apartment only 250m from the beautiful beach. It had everything including a coffee making machine. The host was very responsive to all messages and enquiries. With abundant restaurants and eateries so close there's no need to prepare dinners. But even if you need to, it has excellent cooking facilities and plenty of utensils. I'll definitely be staying there when I next go back. Well done Kirsty/Penny for creating such high calibre accommodation in a dream location.

We loved our stay here...great location and it was so cosy and charming. It's in an old (and tired) building but once you walk inside it's so lovely and has everything you could think of. The kitchen is great and fully equipped lots of teas, coffees etc. There was a great cafe around the corner too called The General and other restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

Just a couple of small suggestions relating to the second bed. The pillows could possibly do with an upgrade, and a small bedside table with a lamp and somewhere to plug in devices would be really handy. We did find the extension cord on our second night which solved the charging issue. Only little things — overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

One bedroom does not have a window, but it is not a problem for one night.

Total schön und wir fanden den Style total super(die Wohnung top modern, die Küche aus den 80ern- aber mit ganz viel Charm und alles sauber) ! Das Bett war Ultra gemütlich , man konnte auch alles abdunkeln und wir hätten ewig schlafen können. Es war auch sehr ruhig, obwohl es mitten im Zentrum war. In weniger als 5 Minuten ist man : am Strand, in der Essensstraße, an den Hot Pools, auf dem Maoao! Also einfach perfekt. In der Wohnung selbst findet man alles was man braucht: super eingerichtete Küche mit Nespressokapselmaschine (danke auch für die Kapseln, die zur Verfügung gestellt wurden) und sogar einem Airfryer! Handtücher gibt es auch um Baden zu gehen, auch hätte es Klappstühle für den Strand gegeben! Der Schminktisch ist auch wunderschön.Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Der Blick auf den Maoao ist natürlich genial! Auch dass man einen Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus hat ist super! Der Charm der Wohnung ist einzigartig!

I didn’t realise this was like an air bnb, if you use the kitchen you need to clean it before check out. Totally my fault. I was suppose to read the check out manual which I didn’t. I had no idea. Having mostly stayed in hotels I wasn’t familiar with the concept. There is a folder you should read and comply with. The host is wonderful please don’t make the same mistake as us. Read the folder :) it’s a gorgeous apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house had everything we needed — clean and tidy rooms, very comfortable bedding, and an excellent location. The streaming services were a great bonus, and our kids loved the toys that were provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, which made cooking very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-prepared place to stay!

The apartment had everything that you could want in it.

There was a wet flannel on the back of the bathroom door and not really an outside area where you could sit. The only sea view was a glimpse of the harbour from where u walk into the apartment .

Everything was perfect! Spotlessly clean and wonderfully comfortable in a great location. Felt so homely, we just wished we could have stayed longer. Toys and bucket spade for our 3 year old son! Beach towels provided. Kitchen and laundry facilities great. Really friendly and helpful host.

This property was so lovely to stay in. They’ve thought of everything. Nice linen, comfy bed and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach or town, will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Could do with sound proofing the balcony doors between each unit. Neighbours did settle down by 9pm but they very noisy up until then.

This little apartment was centrally located and had everything I needed for my short stay. Don't be fooled by the older external of the building! The apartment is fresh, clean, and modern.

This is not a 2 bedroom apartment. 1 bedroom plus a bed in an open space with no privacy. Beds were hard and pillows too flat.

Perfect location for the event we were attending on the main beach. Easy walking distance to shops, beach and Mauao walk. Apartment had everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay.

This is probably the best equipped place we’ve stayed in- everything you need. Don’t be put off by the outside- it used to be a motel in the 70s. Very tastefully renovated preserving original features. Spotless. Really good linen. V convenient

Absolutely love this gorgeous place / home. Excellent location. Off street parking. A hose for the wetsuit washing when! Then the bach itself is so well presented, immaculate and comfortable- more comfortable than any rental I’ve ever stayed in.

Great location situated very central and close to the mount. Also very nice that the appartment has a parking space, since its a nightmare to get public parking during peak hours. Our key unluckily broke in the lock - and the host arranged and paid for a locksmith that arrived in 30 minutes.

Self check in was super easy and on our time. Host provided a code to a lock box in advance, and we had access to the apartment as soon as we arrived. The apartment is very well appointed, like a home away from home - there was nothing that we were left “wanting”. Walking distance to the beach and centre of Mt Maunganui township.

The mattress in the main bedroom is very firm. Just a heads up for anyone who may need to consider back issues. However there is also another bed in the sunroom with a regular mattress so don’t let this put you off. This is a *very* minor thing and did not affect our enjoyment or time in the apartment.

A real gem of a place, close walking distance to the mount, beaches, shops and eateries. The apartment is well equipped with all you need, delivers on all it advertises. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise. We definitely recommend.

What a great little apartment, we loved our stay. And just all the little touches in the kitchen (tea, coffee, lollies etc) and bathroom (toothpaste, shower stuff etc). And my little one loved the toy basket, a nice suprise.

The bed out in the main living/sun room area was a bit cold on a chilly night. As the one wall heater in the living area wasn't quite enough to warm up such a large space.
