La atención, de Tony estupenda. Desayuno riquísimo. lugar muy tranquilo . Muy limpió y buena ubicación a 6 min del aeropuerto.

Tony ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat einen richtigen Wohlfühlort geschaffen. Der Poolbereich war super gemütlich, es gab Trinkwasser und Sonnenschirme für den Strand, ein Fach im Kühlschrank und ein sehr nettes und leckeres gemeinsames Frühstück. Mehrere Strände sind relativ nah. Für diejenigen, die sportlich sind (oder sich das Taxigeld sparen wollen) ist sowohl der Busbahnhof als auch der Flughafen zu Fuß in unter 30 Minuten erreichbar. La Punta am anderen Ortsende ist dagegen definitiv nicht mehr fußläufig.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich dunkel und nicht ganz so gemütlich eingerichtet.

The B&B is located in a calm and quiet area of Puerto Escondido. Both the property and our room were very clean and fully equipped. The room had air conditioning and was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, homemade, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The pool and the surrounding outdoor areas were great for relaxing and could be used throughout the day. The garden was beautiful and full of trees, and we could hear birds singing all day long, which made the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing. We could also use beach umbrellas and hats, which was a nice extra. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Tony booked some tours for us and was always happy to answer our questions and give us advice. If we come back to Puerto Escondido, we will definitely stay here again!

Tony and Sol are excellent hosts who make you feel right at home with a warm, family-like atmosphere. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! The B&B is located in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Even though it's conveniently close to the airport, you don't hear any flight noise at all. It's also incredibly quick and easy to get anywhere around town by taxi.

I loved this place so much. Tony was a wonderful host with some good local recommendations and Sol made the best breakfasts. My room was very comfortable and the pool was delightful after a day in the sun. I loved all of the plants and decorations and inviting feel. There is even a palapa up top. Safe and residential area but easy walking to a Main Street with stores and restaurants. Super value and highly recommend!

Con mi pareja nos encantó el Hotel Zandoyo. El personal era muy amable y servicial, y los desayunos eran excepcionales. Nos encantó tener la oportunidad de comer desayunos clásicos mexicanos y además muy sabrosos. La habitación era espaciosa y con bonita vista, y la piscina extremadamente agradable y excelente para bañarse y disfrutar. Definitivamente volveríamos al Hotel Zandoyo!

Our stay was perfect. The location is nice and quiet but also very close to restaurants, beach etc. The space has everything you could need - kitchen, pool, relaxation areas. The collective breakfast each morning was brilliant and a great way to get to know other guests. The food was so so good! Thanks Tony and Sol.

I had a great time in Puerto Escondido and would absolutely return to Hotel Zandoyo. The breakfast provided was excellent, and the hosts went above and beyond to make this a great experience.

Tony and Sol we’re super friendly and available. Breakfast was great. Room was really comfortable with the AC to survive the extreme heat outside. Convenient location 10min walking to amazing beaches and restaurants.

Unfortunately the pool was being cleaned when we arrived and was only proper for use the day we had to leave.

La ubicación ,cerca de las mejores playas de puerto escondido. El alojamiento estaba limpio, era espacioso , el área de la piscina y su árbol de mangos es maravilloso, y destacar la atención de Tony y sol que no pueden ser más hospitalarios y atentos , los desayunos son increíbles y es un buen momento para conocer y hablar con el resto de huéspedes.

Estuvimos 4 días en el Hotel Zandoyo y fueron geniales. La ubicación es muy buena para ir a diferentes playas de Puerto Escondido caminando (tan solo unos 10 minutos), el hotel es encantador, limpio, bien cuidado e intimo, te permite conocer y conectar con el resto de personas. Tony es un gran anfitrión que se preocupa porque tengas una buena estancia y los desayunos que preparan son geniales.

We really enjoyed the pool area at this bed and breakfast. They have a good sized pool for a 5 room inn. There is also a large covered area to spend time during the afternoon heat. Tony does a great job on breakfast, different combinations every day during our 4 day stay.

Tony and Sol were the best. High end breakfasts. Comfortable facilities. Flexible, easy going host. Great communication before and during our stay. Wifi worked. Pool was clean and lovely. Outdoor shower. Terrace was breezy. Separate beach towels and shower towels. A a perfectly aloof cat, Mau.

Children might have a harder time eating breakfast, its best to be proactive.

The breakfast each morning was some of the best I've ever had. Not only was it delicious, but the portions were large, meaning that I didn't end up eating lunch most days. Tony and Sol are warm and welcoming, it feels like a home more than a hotel. Would definitely recommend to others.

Everything was the best of the bests. We had a great time in this hotel. Breakfast was delicious Mexican dish with fruit salad. A pool in the garden was relaxing. There was a kitchen with fridge for those who want to prepare their own meals. This space with a big table could be useful as a work space too. A drying rack for clothes helped us a lot. There were a shower for washing sand at the entrance and an extra toilet and warm shower in the garden. 日本人の宿泊は私達が初めてだという。静かな環境、ビーチまで20分、OXXOで食糧を調達して自炊も出来る。2階に夕陽を見ながらリラックスできる大きなベランダがある。メキシコ滞在40年の中でもベストな体験でした。おすすめです。

Tony and Sol welcomed us in a way every traveler dreams of experiencing. First of all, the place is exceptional — the pool is lovely, the outdoor kitchen is fantastic, and everything is thoughtfully designed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you arrive early, you can already start enjoying the amenities. The breakfasts are absolutely incredible!!! I 100% recommend this place if you want to leave with a full heart (and a little sadness to go) :)

Lovely spacious room with good quality en-suite. Great location - 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to Carrizalillo Beach. Super breakfast that would prepare you for the day! Cold filtered water available 24/7 and coffee. Lovely pool area with fridge and cooking facilities. Great interaction at breakfast with guests and hosts Tony and Sol about activities, taxis and buses to Mazunte and Zipolite. Tony has great knowledge of the area which is a real plus.

It was very comfortable, quiet, and peaceful but the real highlight were the wonderful breakfasts each morning. The host is kind and relaxed and has really thought of everything to make your stay welcoming and comfortable from the honour bar to the communal kitchen. The pool was also very nice.

Loved that it was in the middle of a residential area and close to beaches and great places to eat. Felt like a very authentic Mexican experience. Fantastic host, amazing breakfasts, very chill relaxing vibe. We enjoyed the pool. Tony s helpful suggesting places to go, tours to book. We also enjoyed getting to chat with the other guests from all over the world over breakfast. Looking forward to when we can return!

Hôtel intime et agréable en tous points: propreté, tranquilité, grande piscine impeccable, lieux communs tels qu'une cuisine extérieure, chaises longues à l'ombre, tables et fauteuils. Tony, le propriétaire est très gentil et serviable. Sol, la cuisinière vous cuisinera des petits déjeuners typiquement mexicains savoureux! Tout ça à quelques minutes de la mer, juste assez loin de l'agitation de la rue principale. Ne manquez pas votre chance d'y séjourner!

Unser Aufenthalt im Zandoyo war der perfekte Abschluss einer wunderbaren Mexiko-Reise. Tony hat das Bed & Breakfast mit sehr viel Liebe und Charakter gestaltet. Man spürt direkt, dass man an einem besonderen Ort ist. Das tägliche, frisch zubereitete Frühstück war ein Highlight, aber es gibt auch viele weitere gut durchdachte Details, die wir geliebt haben. Entspannte Musik, ein schöner Pool, gemütliche Liegen, Outdoorküche, Außendusche um Sand abzuspülen, das Bücherregal, die Dekoration, einfach alles. Man merkt, dass hier jeden Tag viel Herzblut reingesteckt wird. Wir haben eine tolle Whalewatching Tour über Tony gebucht, das hat wunderbar geklappt. Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt außerdem unkompliziert um ein paar Nächte verlängern. Man hat viel Ruhe aber auch die Möglichkeit sich mit den anderen Reisenden auszutauschen, beides haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig zur Rinconada wo es kleine Läden, Restaurants und weiteres gibt. Hübsche Strände in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar (Playa Coral und Bacocho waren unsere Favoriten). Tony hat uns gute Empfehlungen für den Ort gegeben. Der Flughafen ist nur 6 Minuten mit dem Taxi entfernt, was man aufgrund der ruhigen Wohngegend nicht denken würde. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Tony made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. There were lots of lovely cosy touches that made us feel at home: from gentle music (great playlist) to beach supplied and a great social breakfast (food was amazing and adapted to different dietary requirements).

Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison lors de notre séjour : un vrai paradis ! La maison est hyper agréable, aussi bien la chambre que les espaces communs, de plus, c’est très bien situé et permet de profiter pleinement de Puerto Escondido dans un vrai havre de paix, à proximité de restos, plages, commerces…Tony et Sol sont aux petits soins du début à la fin de la journée : petit déjeuner délicieux, varié et chaleureux, activités proposées, réservations…bref, on a adoré passer du temps ici !!

We really enjoyed the outdoor facilities , kitchen and tables near the pool.The place is set up for comfort and interaction with other travelers.Tony has worked hard to create a welcoming relaxed, trusting environment and it works well for our style of travel. We made some great connections with others, over the communal breakfast table too.

This place is an absolute gem! There ist nothing, not one single thing, that you would not love when staying at this cozy, inviting place, run by Tony and Sol. They are the most welcoming, friendly, caring hosts you could wish for! Should we ever return to Puerto Escondido, then THIS is the place we would chose to stay at! 🫶🏻

Staying at Zandoyo truly felt like a home away from home. Tony is an incredibly thoughtful host and takes great care of his guests, and the breakfast he prepares deserves a review of its own. I also loved the location: close to some of the most beautiful beaches, yet set in a quiet residential area. And if you want options, there are plenty of great restaurants just around the corner. I was very happy with my stay and would love to come back.

Super nice, clean house with five rooms so it never feels crowded. Tony the owner is very welcoming and helpful and make with his staff a great breakfast every morning. It’s a very safe area so you always feel comfortable. It’s an outdoor kitchen with a fridge so you can make your own food if you want and also a nice pool. I could recommend this place over and over again. It’s the best for a relaxing vacation.

Hotel Zandoyo provided the perfect finish to our extended family trip to Mexico City and Puerto Escondido. It's an easy walk to restaurants and shops and beaches a bit further on. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the common areas--from the breakfast room to the pool--were inviting with unexpected details and touches to make everything that much more welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Tony is the perfect host, communicative and relaxed with a wealth of information about the area, and he and Sol offer fabulous breakfasts. I hated to leave and would love to return.

We spent a few days in Tony's place and we loved everything: the facilities, location, breakfast, Playa Coral...everything. We would go back there anytime ☺️!

The location is super nice and the area felt calm, there are lots of restaurants near by. The room we got was also pretty cozy and well cleaned.

De sfeer was echt heel ontspannen en gezellig. Echt een home away from home gevoel. Tony en Sol zijn geweldige hosts! Het ontbijt is geweldig en de zwembad in de tuin heerlijk. Aan alles is gedacht en je komt helemaal niks tekort.

Such a wonderful place! Tony is a gracious host, makes you feel incredibly welcome, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent experience. The room was very comfortable and was a nice size. The pool area was perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet, but a short walk to the Rinconada where there are many places to eat and buy water or snacks. The walk or the ADO bus station to town is also very manageable. Also, the breakfasts! Everything was delicious, well balanced, and full of variety.

Amazing in every way! Perfect location, only 10 minute walk away from a couple of the beaches and several restaurants, A/C unit, super nice pool + hammock area to relax and unwind. Tony is awesome and helped us book a dolphin watching tour with an agency that picked us up from the front door of the hotel, plus answered any questions we needed to help us get around town. Also a big shoutout to Sol who makes homemade breakfast every morning that’s included with your stay and it’s always so good, honestly the best food we’ve had at Puerto Escondido.

My favourite stay in my 2 weeks trip to Mexico! Tony and Sol are very welcoming hosts and made exceptional breakfasts which were different every morning. The property has a friendly social vibe to it, guests have breakfast together at 9am everyday so it is a nice way to meet people. The pool is very clean and there is plenty of outdoor loungers and chairs for everyone to enjoy. There is AC in the rooms, beach towels provided, a water dispenser. Location is great, less than 15 mins walk to at least 5 different beaches, a few minutes to the main strip of restaurants and they helped to book guests taxis if you wanted to go further. Really lovely place, would recommend it to anyone visiting puerto Escondido!!

Great place to stay, very comfortable. A/C was awesome to cool off from the humid day (stayed during end of rainy period). The familiar atmosphere was lovely and we made friends over Tony’s great breakfasts! The cat and pool were a bonus.

Attenzione ai dettagli, piscina molto bella, vicino alla zona dei ristoranti e ad alcune spiagge. Purtroppo lontano dalla spiaggia principale Zicatela e alla zona della vita sociale. Tony vi aiuterà in ogni esigenza. La colazione alla messicana spettacolare e preparata sul momento da un cuoco per voi.

Lontano da zicatela, dovrete prendere un taxi o camminare per un’ora.

Clean, wonderful food, great host

Zandoyo B&B was a great home away from home. Every morning Tony would cook up a delicious 2 course breakfast and all travellers would come together to share a meal- this was a great way to socialize and meet other travellers. The rooms were clean and comfy and the pool was a nice addition given the humidity. Big shout out to Cesar who went above and beyond helping us rebook flights after our plans were cancelled due to the hurricane (we don't speak Spanish). Thank you again for your help! We would 100% recommend booking here.

Zandoyo was a haven in Puerto Escondido, close enough to restaurants, cafes and the beaches, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The breakfasts were a pleasure to wake up to each day, including the weekends, which was a treat. The pool and general environs are very welcoming, and Tony and Cesar are perfect hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We felt like family guests, rather than strangers. I would totally recommend them to any traveller. Also, the lovely French bakery, Panorama, is easy walking distance, get there early for the most choice.

Our stay at Zandoyo Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of amazing. The room is more specious than they look in the pictures. Everything in the decoration was thought through. But what we liked the most was the breakfast. They served a different breakfast everyday and all the meals were PERFECTION! Shout out to Tony for making us feel welcomed and at home.

The place is small and cosy, very private with only 5 rooms, and feels like staying at home! The hosts are great, very nice and happy to help with any small request. The breakfast is amazing, something new every day and will keep you fed well during the day. The location is in Puerto Escondido itself, in the quiet part of town, away from the tourist and party action in Zicatela. Overall, a great place to stay!

I loved staying here. The pool was just heavenly and Tony’s breakfasts were wonderful. I had the tiny room but it was very comfortable and perfectly good for a solo traveler. If there was an extra small table near the basin for cosmetics I would have happily stayed in the tiny room for months. Both Tony and César were exceptionally helpful and I can’t thank them enough for their kindness. I can’t recommend their B &B enough. Book and enjoy- you won’t regret it.

Absolutely nothing - it is perfect

Our stay at Tony’s place exceeded all expectations. His home is a true oasis. The outdoor lounge area, complete with a large pool, full outdoor kitchen, and lush garden, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. We also loved the delicious daily breakfast (including weekends now!) and the chance to connect with other guests from around the world. Cesar, the manager, was incredibly helpful both before and during our visit, ensuring everything went smoothly. Our stay went by way too quickly, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This is a small privately run hotel. Tony was very welcoming and served up a delicious breakfast each morning. We especially liked the pool area, a lovely place to relax, especially as we'd been travelling for a while. It was in a very good location, an easy walk to the restaurants and beaches nearby.

We have stayed in a lot of hotels/airbnb‘s and Zandoyo was by far our favorite place! It has everything that you need: clean rooms, awesome pool, fresh and tasty breakfast and overall a perfect atmosphere. A big thank you to tony who is such a great host!
