Breakfast choice as we were there for week it was very same ish Unfortunately we were unlucky and the air conditioning broke in our room and was not fixed so had water pouring out which tainted our stay a little

Beautiful rooms, amazing attention to detail and the best staff! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming! One of the staff members rode a bike to catch up with us after I left a pair of bikinis in the room after checking out! Couldn’t fault anything

Un logement soigné et magnifique au calme, un peu retiré de l’animation des plages le soir. Le personnel est aux petits soins et vous prépare un somptueux petit-déjeuner le matin. La piscine et son environnement sont très agréables.

Une bouilloire pour faire du thé/café dans la chambre pourrait être un plus.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! the property was in an amazing location, easy accessible and among the main shops and eateries. The property was spotless throughout all areas and the staff couldn’t have given better customer service!!! On arrival they gave us information on what to do on the island they had good quality bikes to take out, the breakfast was simple but delicious and fresh. Very peaceful and quiet, rooms and garden area were so beautiful and high quality. We will return and highly recommend.

Un petit coin de paradis au calme et à seulement 5min de la plage à pieds. L’emplacement est idéal, les villas et la piscine sont impeccables, le petit-déjeuner est complet et qualitatif avec fruits et produits frais. Comme si cela n’était pas suffisant pour passer un séjour parfait, l’équipe est absolument géniale. Un grand merci à Den, Tohri, Ajink, Ocan, et Sapar pour leur service et leur présence chaleureuse tout au long du séjour.

The absolute highlight was the incredible hospitality and friendliness of the entire staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The villa itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located with stunning views and direct access to the pool area. The attention to detail and the peaceful, tropical atmosphere made it feel like a true escape.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations. If I had to mention something very minor, the Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger in the far corner of the garden, but it didn’t bother us at all since we were there to disconnect and enjoy the paradise around us.

Séjour parfait à Gili Air 🌴 Les petites maisons de cet hôtel avec leur toit en paille donnent un charme incroyable à l’endroit, on se sent tout de suite dans l’ambiance tropicale et paisible de l’île. Tout était magnifique, propre et très bien entretenu. Un immense merci à Sapar, Ocan, Tohri, Ajik et Den pour leur accueil exceptionnel et leur gentillesse tout au long du séjour. Toujours souriants, attentionnés et prêts à aider, ils ont rendu cette expérience encore plus spéciale. Un endroit que je recommande à 100 % pour passer quelques jours au paradis !

The hotel is really cute! It really depends on the type of vibe you’re looking for. If it’s calm then it’s really well situated because it’s not lost but really quiet. I liked it personably. It’s walking distance from every point of the island. Staff is also very nice and helpful

Le personnel était exceptionnel . Un grand merci à Densan, Sapar, ajik, tahri,ocan ,and parok. Nous avons rarement vu une si belle hospitalité . On se sentait comme à la maison et quoiqu’on leur demandait ils étaient présent pour nous . De plus la propreté irréprochable , hospitalité du personnel , le cadre magnifique.

Rien tout était génial

Tout était vraiment parfait. Le logement est très grand et très propre… À notre arrivée il y avait des fleur vraiment partout, magnifique. Les deux lits très confortables et la salle de bain semi ouverte très belle. Tout est vraiment propre. L équipe passe tous les jours faire le ménage. Quant au staff il est vraiment aux petits soins. Très souriant et gentil. Il vous demande régulièrement si vous voulez boire quelque chose, si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit et si tout se passe bien. Mention spéciale à Den qui a été un réel coup de cœur lors de mon séjour… c est vraiment un jeune homme adorable 💕 Je garde mon séjour à Gili air escape parmi les meilleurs de mon séjour en Indonésie. Merci à tous…

Absolument rien

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cet hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse, et ce avant même l’heure officielle du check-in. On nous a offert des jus pendant l’attente, une attention au top ! Et encore mieux : notre chambre était déjà prête, ce qui nous a permis de nous installer immédiatement. Tout au long du séjour, le personnel a été exceptionnel. Toujours souriant, disponible et attentif, chaque membre de l’équipe a su répondre à nos questions et nous aider à organiser nos activités avec efficacité et professionnalisme. Franchement, le service était irréprochable, au top du début à la fin. On sent une vraie envie de bien faire et de faire plaisir aux clients, et ça fait toute la différence. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour cette expérience. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Niets, als het aan het strand had gelegen was het een 10 geweest. Houd er rekening mee dat je in de tropen bent qua fauna.

La habitación es fantástica y el personal es encantador. Desde el minuto 1 te tratan como familia y te dicen que están ahí para ayudarte con cualquier cosa.

The property itself was laid out perfectly around a crystal clear pool. The staff couldn’t do enough upon our arrival and were so welcoming everytime we returned from our daily adventures. We were warned about bugs and lizards by the staff as a heads up but didn’t see any - this was probably due to the cleanliness and constant up-keeping of the property. We were also welcomed, after our walk through town with our heavy cases, with a dragon fruit smoothie each which was delicious and free of charge!😋

Absolutely nothing!

Loved it. Super clean, the pool was crisp and refreshing. The room was great, offering us two bed so a luxury to sleep alone (ha!), bathroom was big, clean and open air was a nice touch too. The staff are excellent, super chilled and not in your face but so pleasant and kind. They also offer you tea and coffee and drinks all through the day - having an iced latte brought to you whilst reading in the pool is holiday dreams. The other excellent thing is that there is only six rooms, so it's never going to be loud or crowded - would absolutely stay again.

This is really pushing it - but I guess maybe the bathroom towels? But honestly, I had to think hard to come up with anything.

Staff were incredibly friendly and kind: Ocan, Tohri, Ajik, Sapar, and Den! The room and pool area were also great. We really enjoyed our stay! For a 3 star hotel, it’s great and it met our expectations :)

The roof can be a bit too “thin”. So you end up hearing a lot animal noises, leading you to sometimes think that they are inside the room, but actually they are on the outside.

Wirklich eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und unsere erwachsene Tochter hatte ihr Reich für sich. Zentral gelegen in der Mitte der Insel. Bis zum Turtle Point ca 7 Minuten Fußweg. Viele Restaurants in direkter Nähe und eine unglaubliche Auswahl.

Von GiliAir selber waren wir enttäuscht. Viel Müll und Dreck und für uns keine Trauminsel. Unbedingt Badeschuhe mitnehmen mit dickerer Sohle.

We loved our stay on Gili Air and Gili Air Escape was the perfect base for us to explore the island. The staff were so so lovely and were very helpful - they also did such a cute bed set up when we arrived as it was our honeymoon. You do get a few insects and geckos in the bathroom but that didn’t phase us at all, in fact we loved seeing a gecko. The breakfast was lovely, if a bit basic in terms of offering, but there’s loads of restaurants on the island so we went for breakfast out for two days of our stay. Overall we had a great experience at Gili Air Escape - thank you!

Very small issue but the big lights in our accommodation didn’t work so it was super dark.

Très bien placé à proximité de la plage en 5 minutes à pied. Petit cocon très au calme par moment, chambres très agréables et personnel aux petits soins.

Treated myself to a couple of nights here for my birthday while solo travelling and absolutely loved it. The rooms and facilities were beautiful and the staff were so so lovely and helpful, they really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome

The bikes you could rent from the property could do with a fair bit of TLC

It was beautiful and very quiet, but not far from any where you wanted to be . So close to restaurants and the sunset and sunrise . The staff were amazing Ocan ,Sapar,Tohri ,Aji &Den you were truly amazing 💕 you could not do enough for us ,they even got me a beer from the restaurant across the path ! I loved hearing the gheko in the morning and even the sound from the mosque. Sometimes you heard the fruit bat eating the fruit ! You are on an island full of surprises and full of love 🥰 The pool was warm ,air conditioning cool ,breakfast was delicious. Captain Andy and Suze 💕

The staff at Gili Air Escape are so attentive, friendly and welcoming. They're so happy to help with anything they can. This is the best part about staying here. The huts themselves are fine although basic, the pool was a nice size and breakfast was pretty good, the cinnamon smoothie bowl was tasty.

After reading all the amazing reviews I was quite disappointed with our stay. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, the tv only had preloaded things to watch on a USB stick - no live channels and certainly no Netflix etc. The bikes available to hire weren't of very good standard, one squeaked and both had quite flat tyres. The towels provided had marks on them also. We werent aware the items in the fridge werent complimentary so this was an unexpected charge on check out. My partner found a few ants in our bed, there was a HUGE spider in the bathroom (appreciate this isn't the fault of the hotel but just a warning). We were woken every morning 3.30-4am by the prayer call and the cockerels. The positive to this is that we were up in good time to watch the sunrise which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Air conditioning doesn't work during the day but fine at night.

Quite location at the north side. Close to restaurants and bars at the north and east part of the island. Close to the best beaches in the north east of Gili Air. Great houses, Excellent breakfast. And most of all, very friendly, happy and positieve staff!

Struttura molto molto bella, tenuta bene e molto pulita. I ragazzi sempre disponibili per qualsiasi cosa, escursioni, affittano bici in loco e colazione preparata al momento.

Se devo proprio trovare un difetto, uno dei due asciugamani era sporco, lo abbiamo lasciato per terra per farcelo cambiare ma è stato riposto dov’era.

Great central location and so easy to get to all parts of the island. The staff were fabulous and couldn’t do enough to help.

Lighting in the bungalows could do with being a little brighter, the mezzanine one had no central light.

We loved this place. At the quieter north end of the island but very close to the snorkelling beach. Only 6 bungalows so very quiet and relaxing and the team here are extremely welcoming and so helpful. Loved having a shower watching the stars. Would definitely return

Die Anlage ist traumhaft angelegt, perfekt zum entspannen. Der Pool ist sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll zubereitet und ich finde für die Größe des Hotels gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber. Das Bad hat ein wenig feucht gerochen, ich denke aber, dass das hier oft der Fall auf der Insel ist. Dennoch war alles sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Leider ist bei uns an einem Tag die Klimaanlage ausgefallen, das liegt aber an der Stromversorgung generell auf der Insel und nicht am Hotel selbst. Das Personal hat sich auch direkt drum gekümmert!

The staff were so lovely and so happy all the time. Villa was always clean and tidy. Great pool. Lovely breakfasts too. We liked the location too, only 5-10 minutes walk to most beaches on the island. No noise at night. Restaurants/warungs at our doorstep. We would most certainly come back 😊

Pillows way to firm. No kettle in room but staff more than happy to make tea or coffee and bring to villa. No safes in rooms but staff did bring one to our room.

Excellent accommodation! We spent 3 weeks on the islands and this was one of our favourite places. Quiet (like most of Gili Air) and beautiful pool area. 2 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins to walk to the sunset restaurants.

The upstairs bedrooms are great if you’re young and fit. A great space but not for young children or older adults. This is nothing to complain about - I loved it!

Comfortable villas in a great location with wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for us….The pool was a perfect temperature and the breakfasts were delicious. We highly recommend Gili Air Escape.
