Hot water for showers, spacious apartment, helpful staff.

We like everything. Just something really minor which did not affect our stay is that the doors are not properly aligned and so somewhat difficult to open/close.

Apartments were spacious and clean.

Daily cleaning and change of towels would have been better

Convenient location, the beds were comfortable, and there’s a washing machine.

The room was dark and depressing, and overlooked several large waste containers. The bedrooms only fit the bed and one-two tiny tables. There were no dressers or desks. There was a single open closet with one shelf and about a foot wide, hang up space. There were some hooks in the closet area as well. The kitchen was ill-equipped, with only a handful of dishes, no frying pan. There’s no elevator, and the staircase is narrow and curved. There’s a couch but no chairs, a huge table and benches but needed to set up suitcases. There were no entryway where you exchange your shoes for crocs or slippers had very few to change into.

Beliggenheten var super. Frokosten var grei, men litt overpriset.

Comfortable apartment, with everything needed. Great location, close to everything, we felt at home.

No complaints, you just have to get used to some things (like shoes off at the entrance).

非常满意的酒店。位置好，出门不远就是超市cooper，三文鱼又新鲜又便宜。步行可以达到市区内任何景点，包括码头。房间很宽敞，很干净，很舒适。卧室两个，包括6个床铺，客厅的沙发上也可以住人。有小厨房可以做饭。窗外就是主街，站在温暖的房间里，看窗外漫天大雪纷纷扬扬，真是好特别的感觉。服务也很好，灶具使用我们有点没搞懂，一到前台，马上派人来解决了。退房后可以在酒店的接待厅休息，也很舒服，不用担心没处呆。出租车也是前台小妹妹帮忙叫的。总之，我们三个人住得非常舒服愉快。推荐！

Frühstück im benachbarten Svalbard Hotel war reichhaltig und sehr gut.

Das 1. Zimmer lag direkt über einer Bar (Betrieb am Wochenende bis 2:00 morgens, Lärm bis 2:30) und in einem Bett befand sich eine verschmutzte Matratze (wurde nicht genutzt). 2 Nächte! Umzug in 2. Zimmer direkt über der Küche (Lärm bis 00:30) 1 Nacht! Dann 2 Nächte in einem normalen Zimmer. Yuhuu!! Besonders negativ war, dass wir keine Rückmeldung vom Hotel auf 2 Emails bekamen, Offensichtlich wurden unsere Beschwerden ignoriert. Sehr ungewöhnlich für Norwegen und nicht akzeptabel. Deshalb eine weitere Herabstufung.

Rommet viste tegn på manglende vedlikehold over lang tid. Det er akseptabelt at ting blir slitt, men når ingen har tatt seg tid til å feste løst blandebatteri på kjøkkenet, dørklinken inn til badet holdt på å falle av, løs dørlist under døren til badet med mer viser dette manglende kontroll. Bestikk og annet kjøkkenutstyr var meget vel brukt og var ikke videre delikat. En grundig nedvask av dusjområdet hadde også vært på sin plass. Leilighetens var flott utformet og sengene var gode. Plasseringen i Longyearbyen er helt optimalt.

Treppenhaus und Flur waren ungepflegt. Eines der Schlafzimmer hatte kein Zimmer.

位置非常好，房间也大，有很大一张桌子可以吃饭。

住了四天但好像没有人收垃圾或无人告知垃圾应该扔在哪里比较麻烦。

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione, avevamo un appartamento pulito e confortevole con due camere da letto.

Bisogna rimuovere le scarpe al piano di sotto e fare le scale e corridoio con le calzette. Rispetto l’usanza e sono assolutamente d’accordo di rimuovere le scarpe ma avrei gradito poterlo fare fuori dalla nostra camera.

Excellent location, functional, roomy and clean apartment. The reception in Polfareren hotel (50 m from the hotel) will help you with any topic, including booking activities with a very friendly staff.

If I need to say something, the appliances start to show its date and the beds were a bit too soft for my taste.

Veldig rent og fint. Hyggelig og informativ resepsjonist. Veldig enkelt å komme og gå med kodelås på døra. Det beste leilighetshotellet jeg noen gang har vært på.

Jeg likte alt. Har ikke noe å komme med her.

Bra läge. Sköna sängar, trevligt gemensamt utrymme med kök med spis och ugn. Trevligt boende.

Önskade fler krokar i badrum och avställningsyta för necessär.

Perfekt plassering midt i gågaten. Alt i umiddelbar nærhet. Fin leilighet og en perfekt plass å ha basen, mens man opplever hva Svalbard har og by på. De hadde alt man trengte og gode senger. Vi var der rett før sesongen startet, derav mye valuta for pengene

Sluket på badet var dårlig, så ble vått på hele badegulvet etter en kort dusj. Noe merker på bestikk og glass, fremsto som at oppvaskmaskinen burde renses ;)

The location near shopping mall, groceries, in the main downtown of Longyearbyen, the staffs very helpful also

The room light to dim, the kitchenware seems old

Great location, decent sized living room and bed rooms. Equipped well with a wash machine and dish washer. One bathroom attached with a toilet and an extra toilet made our life easier as we were 5 adults travling. Beds were confortable and the heating of rooms were good.

Although they said that they will do daily house keeping, no house keeping done for 5 days that accumulated trash and a house without cleaning/ towels change. The utensils provided was pretty old, lost its coating etc. The water kettle was rusty and felt unhygienic.

Zentrale Lage für Einkäufe und grosse Unterkunft im Verhältnis zu den normalen Hotelzimmern in der Umgebung (wer mehr Bewegungsfreiheit möchte). Guter Ausblick aufgrund grosser Fenster. Und eines der Schlafzimmer hat auch ein Dachfenster, super zum Sterne schauen. Zu klären war noch die Funktion des Herdes. Hier gibt es eine Sicherheitsabschaltung, wenn die Platten zu viel Restwärme abgeben (nach Benutzung) oder ein zu kleiner Topf auf dem grossen Feld benutzt wird. Danach lässt sich der Herd erst wieder einschalten, wenn die Sicherung für den Steckdosenkreis vom Herd einmal aus- und wieder eingeschaltet wird. Hier konnte das Personal Auskunft geben (allerdings erst beim zweiten Nachhaken).

Nicht ganz eindeutig erkennbar ob dreckig oder nicht, aber bei der Ankunft befand sich noch Geschirr im Geschirrspüler (ist dieser vorher gelaufen?). Wir haben es erstmal von Hand nachgereinigt und im Schrank eingeräumt. Sonst nichts weiter.

Benyttet ikke mulighet for frokost på hotellet. Spiste sammen med andre familiemedlemmer i deres hus. Personalet var utrolig serviceinnstilt og hyggelige. Ble tatt så godt i mot. Fikk nyttig informasjon. Utrolig bra beliggenhet. Stille og rolig, og helt nydelig atmosfære

Leiligheten var veldig mørk - måtte be om ekstra lampe (ikke nok lys til å feks lese eller strikke i stuen). Oppvaskmaskinen vasket ikke rent (måtte vaske opp for hånd), og det var ikke klut på kjøkken. Det manglet lapp som man skulle henge ut dersom man ville ha vask av leilighet. Det var vaskemaskin i leiligheten, men ikke noe tørkestativ.

Liked it all.

Location is excellent, very central and an easy walk to most sites & restaurants. Photos matched reality and the hotel was quick to respond to any concerns. Dishwasher tabs and washing powder were provided.

The shower wall didn't hold the water in very well so the floor got quite wet.

Great location and apartment was a good size

The dishes weren’t clean so we re washed them. There was a broken wine glass in the cupboard with loose glass on the shelves. There was no bedding on the second bed and they dropped off more when we were out but didn’t make the bed. Room was very dark- very little light fittings which made it difficult to find things in our suitcase. The water wasn’t drinkable (in Longyearben) but were weren’t told. I figured it out because it taste so bad.

Een prima accommodatie waar je ook zelf kunt koken met meerdere slaapkamers zodat privacy gegarandeerd is. Het ligt midden in het stadje longyearben. De bedden zijn goeds en voor koukleumen is er de mogelijkheid om de verwarming flink op te schroeven. De accommodatie was schoon en de keuken was voorzien van genoeg borden, bestek, kookgerei en pannen. Verwacht echter geen luxe appartement.

Eigenlijk hebben wij weinig aan te merken. Als ik iets zou moeten noemen san zou ik de Lodge willen adviseren om een stoeltje of krukje neer te zetten bij de ingang zodat mensen comfortabel hun schoenen uit kunnen doen.

Het bad was fantastisch. Bedden lagen heerlijk en een eigen keuken is heel fijn.

The location was great. The facilities in the rooms were quite satisfactory. There were two bathrooms which was a relief. The restaurants are very close. It was wonderful being there.

The location is great! We rented an apartment with 2 bedrooms for 4 people, one of us slept on the couch. The apartment was spacious, warm, clean and modern. It had everything we wanted. Since you take of your shoes at the entrance of the building, it keeps very clean and dry.

They said unless we have the fan + a window open while cooking we might set the fire alarm which will alarm both big building of the hotel. This worried us each time we were cooking, even simple things. And keeping the window open is not very nice in cold weather.

A notre arrivée, la douche était cassée, le joint de la vitre de la baignoire n était pas étanche provoquant une fuite d eau sur le carrelage épongée à chaque utilisation. Les eaux usées de la machine à laver remonte dans le lavabo. Nous avons signalé le problème dès le début et avons attendus la visite du technicien le lendemain matin comme convenu mais il n'est pas venu. Seulement le jour de notre départ. Pour le tarif de la chambre, nous avons été déçu de la qualité de l hébergement. A ajouter que le personnel de l accueil à qui nous avons eu à faire était peu aimable.

Spacious apartments for group of friends, in the middle of the city center.

Bearing in mind that I was a guest in this Apartment Hotel before, I have noticed that room condition and equipment has been changed. Kitchenette equipment is in much worst condition than before. This is really minor investment. I had to ask for garbage bags on the reception, got two, one was used before for something (not garbage). Than I just went to Svalbardbutikken and bought 20 pieces package. The rest was left in the apartment. Also, the pan was in catastrophic condition, with lots of scratches. Dangerous for use. Than I also bought a new one worth 200 NOK and left in the apartment for future guests. Advice for Hotel Svalbard Lodge, please check the kitchenette equipment and its condition. It means a lot when you stay in apartments. Invest a little to renew the equipment in the apartment.

Poor not enough pillows, no room cleaning services during our 3 night stay, not inexpensive, poor ac adaptor plug locations, slippery bathroom specially when stepping out of bathtub, no safety handles, Steps on stairs steep, no intelligent tv

Beds in smaller room were tiny.

We loved this place! We were traveling with 6, and the two bedroom apartment was such a good option. The kitchen was wonderful in a place with pretty expensive restaurants but a great grocery store.

The location, the staff and the room were all great.

The noise from the bar on Friday and Saturday night was awful.

Good to have an apartment in Longyearbyn because restaurants are so so, and expensive. This apartment is 50m from the supermarket. Good beds, dishwasher, laundry machine. All very handy. Good with two separate bedrooms.

Longyearbyn is expensive and this place is not an exception. We enjoyed, but the furnishing is pretty basic given the roughly 500 USD 7 night cost.
