Reviewed May 9, 2026Beautifully secluded. The beach directly behind the house is nearly private! Gorgeous scenery and convenient to Donegal town.
The house didn't have a coffee pot, and I enjoy fresh coffee in the a.m. I did miss being able to make coffee (not a fan of instant).

There were no negatives. I would suggest information about the heating and information about the property. Other properties we’ve rented usually have a welcome and close out on day you leave. We couldn’t get the doors to lock! We received instructions after we left!

Better signage to the property. Could include the exact coordinates for the satnav as we kept getting lost although we loved where we were.

Reviewed May 21, 2025It was like a home away from home with anything any everything you could need. The beach in the back garden was beautiful. It was very remote and private. Host was very friendly , responsive and helpful.
Slight smell from drain in en-suite bathroom but host advised how to help alleviate. The weather was good when we stayed too so we could leave the window open and air out the house.

Reviewed May 14, 2025We had an amazing weekend at this beach house! The place is super comfortable, very well-equipped, and everything was clean and beautifully taken care of. One of the highlights for us was the location — the beach is literally in the backyard. You just open the back door and you’re right there! It was incredible! We had a great time with friends, and everyone absolutely loved the house. There’s really nothing to complain about. We highly recommend it and are already making plans to come back!

Reviewed May 5, 2025The house was in a beautiful location with the beach at the back of us. We had everything we needed and more. The place was amazing and had lots of board games , cards , jig saw, and books to read. Amazing value for money.
No issues, we went to donegal Castle and a few restaurants nearby. It was perfect.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2025Beautiful remote location right on the beach. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed a beautiful luxurious bathroom and a warm stove for heat.
There was a very strong smell of sewerage coming from the ensuite making the 2nd bathroom and main bedroom unusable.

The only thing that was an issue was the master bedroom had a stagnant water smell coming from the en-suite shower and it was overpowering in that room, we had the options for other rooms so we didn’t stay in that one but if we had of had more people in our group someone would have had to put up with that.
