Stayed here for while exploring. The location was ideal, and close to good food options nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely helpful, giving good local tips and being quick to sort out any small issues. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure, something that's not a given in hostels! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, sociable stay. Already thinking about booking again next time.

It was a wonderful experience. Malinis ang room, comfort room at mga facilities and also the staff is very accommodating.

Maybe add more things to Remember sign inside the room or sa pader. Some of the guests ay maingay ang cellphone which disturb the other guest. But overall satisfied naman 😃😄

Das Zimmer war wirklich winzig und das Bad war okay. Das Restaurant hatte leider keinen Koch zu der Zeit, in der ich da war. Das wlan funktionierte nur auf dem Flur.

La ubicación es muy céntrica y estratégica: puedes caminar a Roxas Boulevard, llegar a Intramuros, y tienes un centro comercial completo a pocos minutos. Además, hay dos estaciones de metro relativamente cerca, lo que facilita moverse, y llegar en Grab desde el aeropuerto es muy barato. El hotel tiene atención 24 horas con personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte. También cuenta con restaurante desde temprano para el desayuno y otras comidas, bar hasta la noche y una terraza activa que funciona como área social y espacios separados para fumadores y no fumadores, lo que hace que siempre haya vida dentro del lugar. Hay servicio de storage de equipaje y, en general, sabes que estás pagando por una opción económica bien ubicada.

Las instalaciones son básicas y los cuartos individuales son pequeños, sin aire acondicionado (solo ventilador), lo que puede hacerlos calurosos. Además, pueden tener olor a humedad, algo que debería informarse con más claridad, pero te acostumbras. La limpieza de los baños compartidos es limitada (principalmente en la mañana), por lo que durante el día pueden quedar mojados o sucios. El entorno es bastante movido y con mucha vida nocturna (bares, karaokes, masajes, etc.), lo que puede resultar caótico o poco cómodo para algunos viajeros, especialmente si buscan tranquilidad. Pero si sabes que estás priorizando la relación precio-calidad es una excelente opción.

La atención del personal, sería lo único.

Las sábanas estaban manchadas, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, solo funcionaba un ventilador, las instalaciones son muy precarias, es un hotel económico pero podrían hacer algo por mejorar

Pas grand chose mis à part cet homme sympathique qui m'a indiqué comment aller dans les quartiers à visiter.

Le dortoir a 7 lits superposés soit 14 couchages mais seuls les lits du bas ont des rideaux. J'étais sur le lit du dessus à côté de la porte. Certes, le tarif de la nuit n' est pas élevé mais quand, à presque une heure du matin, le personnel entre dans le dortoir, allume et prépare deux lits pour des clients qui font comme si il n'y avait personne dans le dortoir, je trouve cela déplorable.

I'm back again, for the 3rd time. Now, after nearly 6 months of backpacking around the Philippines, I really appreciate this place even more. All their rooms are bookable online, from the cheapest to the most expensive, not like so many other places which only have their most expensive rooms online. Also I like that they do not use dynamic pricing. Each room type has a fixed cost per night. Simple and easy. The rooftop bar is unique to the Philippines. Perfect for me for a reset and planning for my next country. It's not a 20's something party hostel, but a Guest house for people of all ages. You won't be the oldest one here.

Something happened this time. I notified them of my late arrival time and got a message back that it was no problem. When I arrived, they said they were full and that they had booked me into their new hostel a few dyrets away instead. This is NOT acceptable. I booked here because I wanted the 'full package', room, food, beer, DSA, in order to reset and plan before further travelling. Their new hostel does not have a rooftop bar. I did NOT receive any information about this up front, but only found out when I arrived at midnight! There were so many rooms available when I booked just 2 days ago. How could everything be full? Why could I book a room if none were available?....or do they take bookings for both places on the same web page? If I knew, I could have come a day later....or booked a different category room! In the end I got another room and had to change rooms the the next day. Not ideal but I could live with it. Why would I want to stay a week in some tiny room somewhere without the facilities Stay Malate has?

Eu gosto de conhecer a cidade a pé, por isso achei a localização boa.

Ventoinhas emitem um ruido elevado. Não gostei que quem me conduziu num triciclo até ao hotel tivesse fugido sem me dar o troco do serviço acordado. Foi acordado um valor de 200 e ele ficou com 500, tendo desaparecido de repente sem que nada o prevesse. Manila é uma cidade do salve-se quem puder.

Unfortunately we found several dead and alive cockroaches over several days. The staff was very apologetic about it and helpful but unfortunately this did negatively affect our comfort. The shower was weak, the bathroom was smelly, the bed was uncomfortable and the Air-conditioning was loud

The staff is so nice and helpfull. All are Englishspeaking. I was in a dorm with aircon, and it's on. They don't cut it off all the time! They have a restaurant on 5th floor where you can have all your meals. And it's not very expensive. You can live here without leaving if you want. 5th floor also has a common room where you can hang out, read some of the books they have, drink a beer or two, and enjoy talking to other guests. It's about hospitality and this place has it all. And for me.. it's walking distance to Intramuros and all the museums in there. Or a short ride in a taxi. 5 min. walk from a very big shoppingmall. Oh. . free drinkingwater. Just bring your own bottle :-) And hot water to if you want it for coffee or what ever. Do I have to say more? I will be back.

Jó ár/érték arány némi igényesség mellett. A (legolcsóbb választott) szoba puritán, korszerűnek nem nevezhető. (Nekem nagyjából megfelelt.)

Bár sokaknak jó lehet a házon belüli kocsma- és étterem-féleség, de zavaró volt, hogy az általam választott hálóterem közvetlenül a bár mellett helyezkedik el. Maga a szoba "csendes" volt és nem is volt rendbontó, de aki kora este már aludni szeretné, annak zavaró lehet a bár hangzása.

My 2nd time here. I returned after having travelled around Luzon for 3 weeks, and this time I appreciated it even more than when I first arrived in Manila. I took the cheapest room I could find, and yes, it was the old style rock bottom basic type, but that's perfectly fine...because the rooftop is a Godsend in the Philippines, especially if you like to....and have a few cold ones and some food, all at the same place. Got stuck here for some extra days due to a typhoon. What better place to get stuck! Excellent WiFi which worked right through the typhoon.
