Il divano che doveva diventare il terzo letto molto sporco, non lo abbiamo trovato sistemato, abbiamo dovuto sistemarlo con le lenzuola che erano poggiate tutte stropicciate in un angolo della stanza, anche il letto matrimoniale aveva della biancheria che sembrava già ci avessero dormito, il bagno formato mignon, un lavandino nel quale anche lavarsi le mani era impegnativo, le scale per raggiungere l'appartamento pericolose, molto anguste, il tutto da rapportare al prezzo, 324,62 euro per una notte.

Superb location and very spacious, apartment with 2 big bedrooms and a living room/bedroom which was ideal for 4 people, there's even a little balcony! The host was lovely and super helpful throughout our stay.

You have to go up 3 fairly steep narrow sets of stairs to reach the apartment which was a challenge with our bigger suitcases

Up 3 flights of narrow stairs. Shower not great. We stayed in 8 places on our 3 week trip and this was the most expensive of all but the worst shower.

I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a true two-bedroom apartment. It only has one actual bedroom, while the other two sleeping areas are dirty, stained sofa beds that are difficult or impossible to pull out properly. The apartment is at the top of an extremely steep, narrow staircase, making it very difficult and unsafe to carry heavy luggage. If you have large suitcases or mobility concerns, this is something to seriously consider. The apartment was also unbearably hot because there is no air conditioning. Opening the windows isn’t a solution because the apartment is directly above a restaurant, and the street noise continues until around 5:00 a.m., making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the listing did not match our expectations, and between the inaccurate sleeping arrangements, difficult access, excessive heat, and constant noise, I would not stay here again.

The location was really great for us. We walked to everything we wanted to see. The host’s communication was very good.

We had a wonderful stay in Zurich. The location was excellent—quiet, safe, and convenient for exploring the city and using public transportation. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and easy.

Wifi didn't work so TV didn't work. The master bedroom just had one small wardrobe. The 2nd and 3rd beds were really just couches, in the dining room and TV room. So not 2 single beds in a room really.

The apartment is very comfortable with 2 rooms, bathroom, living area and kitchen. It's well situated and have easy access to the transport system and shops etc. The room quite spacious and had plenty of space to relax. The kitchen is well equipped too. The river is a 10 minutes walk from the apartment and there's a few shops and supermarkets around. Had a pleasant stay and may return back.

The only drawback is that there's no lift to go up thus has to carry the luggage up. The size of the bathroom is quite small and compact. Otherwise it's quite a pleasant place to stay.

Die Dusche war am ersten Tag nur kalt und am zweiten heiß oder kalt, die Regelung der Wassertemperatur war praktisch unmöglich... zusätzlich verringerte sich beim drehen auf wärmer, der Wasserdruck mit weniger Wasserstrahl erheblich.

This apartment, and especially its location, has such an incredible genius loci that you gladly overlook any minor faults. Our family enjoyed every moment of our stay. I also want to highlight the prompt and professional communication with Angela; she was wonderful. We were initially a bit surprised by the steep and narrow stairway leading to the apartment (I might have missed that in the description!), but over time, it became a fun daily "mountain climb" for our kids (3 and 8 yo) :)

We experienced some minor issues with the shower (inconsistent temperature and water pressure). In terms of kitchen amenities, adding a microwave or a small oven would be a great improvement, though we managed fine without them. Also, while the windows are high-quality and seal well, the street can get a bit noisy at night. Light sleepers might find this challenging, although the noise was likely amplified by the ongoing Sechseläuten festival during our stay :)

Läget för denna lägenhet är perfekt för utflykter i gamla stan, man behöver inte någon spårvagnsbiljett, allt kan nås till fots Positivt att det fanns kaffekapslar till kaffemaskinen och att köket är utrustat med diskmaskin.

Vi tyckte att det fattades en del saker, men vi fick snabb hjälp av Angela med t.ex. några köksattiraljer, toapapper mm. Liksom andra gäster tyckte vi att trappan upp till lägenheten är brant och jobbig, speciellt när resväskor ska transporteras upp och ner. Köket skulle behöva bättre utrustning för matlagning, en mikrovågsugn hade varit bra. I de båda rummen med bäddsoffor saknades förvaringsmöjligheter, galgar, hyllor.

The location was good for walking.

It was difficult to carry my bag up the narrow, high stairs. (Is it because we're in Europe?)

El departamento está arriba de un Bistró, la escalera súper angosta, difícil subir con las valijas. Donde dormían los Chicos ni hay camas, son sillones súper incómodos. La cocina no tiene ni microondas, ni horno eléctrico ni horno común, y los utensilios no sirven ni para hacer unos fideos. El baño es mínimo, en especial un cubículo de ducha , súper angosto.

The stairs - 3 flights of a very tight old stairs and 3 large suitcases was not the best experience. It wouldn’t stop me from booking, but would be something to consider.

The floor is very sloping and creaky. Due to renovations and delivery, the noise starts early in the morning (not a feeling related to the landlord). Kitchen equipment is enough for 4 people.It's ok for a short stay but the price is high.

It is in a central location and clean.

It's on the third floor and only has stairs to climb, so it's tiring.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. It was within walking distance of the central station, and very close to the beautiful river. There were great views from every window, and the balcony was lovely.

Nothing; Zürich is a pricey place to stay, so this cost more than any other apartment during our trip, but I understand that this apartment offers comparatively good value for money.

Upon arrival, we encountered a minor issue which the host promptly and diligently resolved for us. As a frequent traveler, I rarely encounter such exceptional customer service! Additionally, the apartment is situated in a prime location. We’ve had a great stay!

During our stay, the weather was extremely hot, and we were grateful for the portable fans in the bedroom. The addition of air conditioning would further enhance the comfort of the accommodation.

Very spacious for our 4-pp family, location amazing walk anywhere 15-min in old town, will visit again!

Good apartment at a nice location

The stairs going up to the apartment are narrow and its 2 story high. We had 3 huge bags and was very difficult carrying everything up and down.

Location location location. Honestly it is an amazing location. Directly above a cafe, with a large tram stop only a minute walk away. It was reasonably quiet from neighbourhood noise for the most part too, which was great. The location alone forgives many (but maybe not all) of the cons. Historic. No doubt that the apartment has some charm, as you might find in an older building. I like this, and don't expect things to be perfect. It's a trade-off. One of the rooms also has a small balcony which is a nice feature. We were visiting in January(winter) and it was a well heated, warm apartment. This is important. Note, not sure how it goes in summer, no AC. Water ran hot (after giving it 5 minutes or so to heat up) Whilst not listed, nor guaranteed, we did have access to the laundry facility on the floor below that belongs to the cafe on the ground floor. This was hugely helpful. Zurich is super expensive (just generally), so I do feel the apartment is well priced.

The floors are VERY squeaky. You expect old floors will be noisy, but these are not original floors. We were 4 staying here and heard everytime anyone got out of bed. Also the floors are uneven, with some unexpected angles and step changes between rooms. I really think they need to be relayed. The unit is up on the third floor with some very narrow winding stairs. Please be aware of this if you are immobile in any way as it might be a challenge. The kitchen has a stove top but no microwave or oven. Coffee pods were provided but no milk unfortunately. There is a large, mostly useless, life-size chef holding a serving pan taking up space in what is already cramped space in the kitchen. The TV has no Arial connection, so only streaming services, no live TV. The remote batteries were flat with no spares to be found. There were no instructions on the unit, like where to take rubbish etc. It's pretty standard now to have a guest booklet with useful information of the unit and/or surrounding area. There was only one key provided. Problematic given that you need the key to open the door from outside but also to lock the apartment from the inside. We were 4ppl and not always wanting to go to the same place, but with only one key, this was a challenge. I did request another key but unfortunately one wasn't provided. I had requested for the 2 sofa beds to be made up, but unfortunately this was not done which was just one small challenge we didn't need on late arrival. Being above a working cafe kitchen, there are some strange smells that fill the stairways. They don't penetrate the apartment itself which is good, because despite the cafe food being good, the other cooking smells are definitely not. Be aware that the building across the street is under major renovation (as of January 2025). Obviously this can't be helped, but it did create a bit of noise and isn't wonderful to look at.

The location is absolutely perfect. The apartment is in the middle of the Zurich. 10-15 minutes walk to main train station, 3 minute walk to local train station and you are literally 5 minutes' walk to everything you want to see on your stay.. Angela (the daughter of the owners) is great in communication. The restaurant downstairs is also owned by the same family, and having 4 vouchers for coffee and croissant was great. The apartment also has everything needed for the short stay (shampoo/conditioner and kitchen utensils). Having 3 bedrooms, if you are traveling with the family, is great.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the spiral staircase is very narrow so if you have larger suitcases or have issues going up/down the stairs, this will be a big problem for you (it got tiring going up and down the stairs for the family and we are all in good shape). Having the restaurant downstairs can be a blessing and a curse as the common area really smells of food. The floors in the bedroom are very creaky, and you can hear everyone walking at night (if anyone got to go to the bathroom, for example). The bathroom and shower are uncomfortable with shower pressure being very weak. The kitchen is very small and has no table, so you are utilizing the table in one of the bedrooms. Also, during our stay, on the the couches would not pull out (we think it's broken), so one of the kids was sleeping on (essentially) sofa. While it is a 3 bedroom apartment, I would only recommend this for families and not 2 couples traveling together.

It’s a fantastic location.

The kitchen was not well set up with essential items as many other AirBnB’s are when you are arriving late. You also had to navigate three sets of very narrow and steep stairs. This was not obvious as part of the Booking and we were lucky to have a couple of strong guys with us to be able to get us into the apartment with our bags. This should be noted for any future bookings as I know many people who would not have physically been able to get into the apartment.

Angela was a lovely host for us. Quick to answer queries and flexible when needed. We cut down our stay by a day because of the weather and Angela most gracefully dealt with the issue. Property is clean, everything works, bed is excellent. Staff and manager of restaurant at the ground floor very friendly and happy to assist where possible. In one word: recommended!

Very minor issue for older persons (like us): apartment is on the top floor and there is no lift so getting suitcases can be somewhat problematic.
