Reviewed Mar 18, 2026Beautifully quiet location, excellent for stargazing. The tiny house itself is cozy and comfortable with everything needed for a quick break. We loved laying in bed and looking out at the night sky.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Everything we expected and more. Donna was a delight to meet and looked after us very well indeed. The shower has to be one of the best in a very long time - and we travel a lot! Private secluded and very comfortable.
The access road was an unexpected challenge for two heavily laden motorcycles, but easily negotiated and added charm to the seclusion of the place.

Reviewed May 9, 2025We loved everything! Thank you, Donna and Andy, for the lovely accommodation! Beautiful nature, clean room, and amazing hospitality. Andy went an extra mile to take us for a tiki tour around the area which allowed us to appreciate our surroundings even more. It was quite chilly during the nights we were there, so the heater and electric mattress totally saved us. Thank you again❤️ 100% recommended and would love to book again.

The place exudes a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for recharging and disconnecting. Donna also provided us with great tips for exploring the area, which we truly appreciated. I can highly recommend staying at Donna’s place!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2024Beautiful location on a hill with a good view of Mt Maunganui. Nice comfortable tiny home. Easy access to the property and straightforward check-in and check-out. The owner was lovely to talk to and she gave fresh towels the 2nd or 3rd day I was there as I was staying for a week.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2024Out of the way location. Great communication before arrival. Very clean and comfortable. I felt the price was a little high for the size of the accommodation - but liked the location for it's privacy.
The bathroom needed more shelving beside the sink and for storing toiletries.
