They have an amazing, attentive team. From the moment we walked through the door, we immediately felt right at home. We bumped into their impressive Golden Key Concierge too. Make sure to ask for their Legend Hotel Tour—we appreciated Frank, who took us around and explained the hotel's history and fun facts! The team was also very kind to guide us on how to book the right Didi rides to our attractions, and gave us tips and tricks for optimum travel comfort. They brought our parcels and food deliveries up to our room when we were too tired to go out for food. Their turn down service team noticed we drank a beverage and brought in more for us, placing them on our bedside table for when we returned from a long and exhausting day. They also brought out their tea set, laid with a teabag so we could have it before bedtime. It was extremely lovely to be considered to this extent. The bed was really comfortable, and we had one of the deepest sleeps we've had in any hotel before. They had blackout curtains, and our room was extremely peaceful and quiet. Their hotel slippers were also some of the most comfortable—we kindly asked for extra pairs to bring home with us. We look forward to coming back.

While the front office and rooms teams were exemplary, the dining team struggled with coordinating the breakfast buffet on both days of our stay. There were missing serving bowls and serving spoons, as well as food signages that didn't match up with the actual food.

Il Sofitel Legend People’s Grand Hotel Xi’an è un hotel di grande fascino, ospitato in un edificio storico estremamente elegante e perfettamente coerente con l’atmosfera della città. Gli ambienti comuni sono raffinati, curati, mai anonimi, e trasmettono immediatamente la sensazione di trovarsi in una struttura con carattere, storia e personalità. Molto bella anche la camera: spaziosa, confortevole, arredata con gusto classico e con un livello di cura che rende il soggiorno estremamente piacevole. Particolarmente gradevole anche l’aperitivo offerto ogni sera, servito in ambienti eleganti e prestigiosi dell’hotel. È un momento molto piacevole della giornata, perfetto per rientrare dopo le visite e godersi con calma l’atmosfera della struttura. Il vero punto di forza, però, è il personale: assolutamente professionale, squisito e attento. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, sempre cortese ma mai invadente, con una cura dell’ospite rara e sincera. Ogni richiesta è stata gestita con efficienza, disponibilità e grande educazione. In sintesi, un hotel di altissimo livello, elegante, accogliente e gestito con una professionalità esemplare. Una scelta perfetta, la migliore, per un soggiorno a Xi’an e, senza dubbio, uno degli hotel che ricordiamo con maggiore piacere del nostro viaggio in Cina.

It is a relatively small hotel within a larger hotel complex and has that unique “old money luxury” flair. Exquisite attention to detail by all members of staff. Not the largest but definitely the most top-notch breakfast of our whole trip to China. Gym and pool are not the largest either but still nice. Excellent food at the afternoon tea at the lounge.

This sounds silly but the bathroom was incredible- high tech luxury. The staff are incredible -meeting you at your car, opening doors, calling the elevator before you even get there.

Food choice during breakfast is small

The location was fantastic. The special history surrounding the property was really interesting. The gardens gave you the sense of peace and quiet even though you were so close to so many interesting attractions. The staff were all supremely friendly and helpful, special mention for Morty, Serena, Andi, Chris and Jack. You made our stay extra special! Thank you and we will be back.

After more than ten days on the road, I couldn't have asked for a warmer final stop. We arrived tired and overheated, and Jack noticed immediately — he brought us welcome drinks right away and, rather than just processing the check-in, chatted with us like an old friend, patiently explaining the area and thoughtfully asking about our plans before offering genuinely useful suggestions. When we came back from sightseeing, Kevin's warm welcome and friendly, professional service were just as memorable. By the last day, all I wanted was to stay in the hotel and soak up their hospitality. Highly recommended.

Ich weiß nicht, wo ich anfangen soll. Es war schmutzig, das Mobiliar abgenutzt, der Teppich hat gestunken und das Personal war überheblich und unhöflich (und ich frage mich warum)

O Hotel é espetacular. Uma arquitetura preciosa que encanta. Histórico e impecável. O serviço é bom mas ainda precisa de ajustes principalmente na parte de restaurante . Na recepção saliento a atenção dos gentis funcionários Wilson, Frank e Kevin.

A alimentação ainda deixa a desejar e não é compatível com o refinamento e história do hotel. O café da manhã deixa a desejar .

Instalações do hotel numa praça privada com 3 hoteis Accor, funcionarios super prestativos.

Quase nada de ingles, mas dá para se virar com o tradutor se for esperto.

Beautifully appointed in true Grand style. Exudes opulence. Staff very attentive. In a reasonably quiet area, but easy access to all the sites by Didi.

What impressed me most about this hotel was, by far, the dedication of all the staff to making my stay very pleasant. The staff was very attentive and caring. I would highlight it among all the hotels I have visited in China and around the world. Congratulations on a great job! I will be back!

Quarto maravilhoso, toalhas, lençóis, travesseiros tudo de primeira linha. Há um espaço para o Happy Hour da tarde com uma bela mesa. Atendimento da equipe muito bom, tudo muito bonito e o espaço externo é lindo. há um bar e um restaurante no térreo muito bom.

Las instalaciones son excelentes, cuenta con 4 restaurantes, lo cual facilita mucho cuando uno llega cansado de recorrer los diferentes lugares en la ciudad. La atención fue increíble, en todo momento el personal estaba al tanto de nosotros y de nuestras necesidades.

Excellent service rendered by all staff. My husband and I fell sick upon arrival and the staff took the time and effort to bring us to the hospital and helped us with all the necessary administration. We would definitely be so lost without the help.

The food quality for all F&B including room service was not great.

The location was centrally located and secure with a lovely stying. Our suite was beautifully appointed with separate spaces. There was a good variety of both local and western options. The service was outstanding and the staff very attentive. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Perhaps the bar could provide more wine by the glass options.

Very good service, all the staff were friendly, provided good advice on local attractions, attentive to our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Location was convenient. We usually used DiDi to go to places, very reasonable prices.

We were here in late March. It suddenly became quite warm. The hotel hadn’t turned on air conditioning, so we could not make our room cooler than 24 degrees Celsius.

We had luxurious stay in this hotel. First I would like to thank the staff which exceeded our expectations especially the doormen! We were greeted with welcome drink. Our rooms was upgrade to suit rich included the buffet breakfast. The food options are amazing, great coffee and fresh juice. The room was huge and big bathroom, very comfortable beds. We were using taxi to get around the city. Do not miss the happy hour on the top floor. Everything was beyond perfect and we will stay again.

ラウンジ利用権利があるのに、使えなかった、また再度ラウンジに行ったら、営業終了していた。１階のバーを使えると言われたが、バーに行ったら「使えない・有料だ」と言われた。翌日にお詫びのワインを頂いたが、ラウンジが使えない事に対する対価としては、かなり相応ではなかった。ラウンジスタッフと、バーカウンターのスタッフの対応がひどすぎる。

Extremely.courteous and helpful staff, beautifully appointed rooms, technologically advanced washrooms, a chef who serves an exceptional plate of black truffle potato.soup, heritage in the form of two bicentury old trees in the courtyard - this property ticks every wish list of mine. And ofcourse Xi'an is a place that one cannot miss. The terracotta army is amazing and inspiring - it is truly.awesome, the Muslim quarter with its Grand Mosque and gazillion of savories and sweets it the most fun I have had in a long time. You have to try each nondescript.looking sweet being sold. Chances are that it will turn out to be delightful. And the Song of everlasting Sorrow in Huaqing Palace was simply mesmerizing. A stay to remember.

It was a beautiful old hotel with the grandeur and history. The room was large and comfortable and there was an extra toilet which was really convenient. The staff are super helpful and service is very good. They helped us with everything we needed. The minibar is well stocked and free which was a nice touch.

Though it is in the walled city and fairly central the street itself is near government buildings and in a quieter area. It is a 10mins walk to the busy streets and shops. Also booking through Booking.com didnt get me my Accor points. It is fairly expensive hotel.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with every request, particularly Frank at the concierge who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The quality of the facilities, the dining experiences and the rooms were exceptional.

All the staff are fantastic from the concierge to the cleaning staff, the breakfasts are outstanding with Chinese and European hot and cold selections. The Italian restaurant is really good if you want something different from Chinese. A great happy hour.

The room is superb, spacious and very clean. The bathroom is exceptional. Beautiful thick curtains which block the light well (helps with a good night sleep) and the room is sound proof, nice and quiet. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, most of them speak good English.

- language barrier - quality of the danish and viennoiserie for a Sofitel legend. - anticipating guest needs like in other Sofitel legends. We booked here as we stayed in Sofitel legend Hanoi and were expecting the same level of services: huge difference.
