The cleanliness, the beautiful simplicity, the comfortable mattress, the phenomenal staff and the excellent healthy breakfast! I arrived so sick and was stuck in my room for 2 days. The staff did everything they could to make me comfortable. I wish I could’ve extended my stay but they had a big group coming in and were fully booked. As they should be!! I would come here again and I highly recommend if you are in Olhao to find Casa Rosa!!

La habitación daba sensación de vieja, creo que era por el color del cemento del baño. El baño estaba un poco desangelado y las toallas del WC no tenían buen olor, parecía como si olieran a humedad. Sin embargo, las que estaban en la bolsa de la piscina eran riquísimas y olían muy bien.

Mooi boutique hotel met vriendelijke personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt. We waren de hele dag op stap en s’ avond stond een thermos kamillethee klaar voor os met een koekje. Heel leuk dat ze dit doen en ook rustgevend na een lange dag.

Ik heb geen opmerkingen. Ik vond de persoonlijke aandacht fijn.

Location is excellent. The accommodation is quiet and has an air of peacefulness. We stayed in the accommodation before in a larger room and would have preferred this but unfortunately not available. So book early.

El hotel en si es excelente, extraordinario, super bonito y una limpieza impecable. Cuenta con todos los servicios necesarios para garantizar la máxima comodidad. Ubicación perfecta. Pero si algo hace que esté lugar sea mágico es su personal. El trato en todo momento fue excepcional, siempre sonrientes, muy atentos y con multitud de detalles. El desayuno buffet maravilloso, tiene de todo y de calidad. Una experiencia extraordinaria e inolvidable, que supero todas las expectativas. Totalmente recomendable y con ganas de repetir.

Casa Rosa es un oasis en Olhão. Desde el momento que atraviesas la puerta parece que te transportas a otro lugar, en el que te hacen sentir muy a gusto. Las instalaciones son fantásticas: decoración moderna y minimalista (gusto estético excepcional), la pequeña piscina y las terrazas. El desayuno abundante y variado. Y detalles que te llegan al alma (cada tarde nos dejaban una bandeja con una infusion). Y el personal es de 10.

We loved everything about Casa Rosa, the staff were friendly and provided an excellent breakfast each morning. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hotel had a lovely laid back vibe.

The restfulness of the property, quiet AC, One of the best nights sleep in a hotel good use of space, separate zones, good location in town, complimentary tea,, Martin was very welcoming .

The steps going up to the rooms on upper level were very steep ( not much can be done though) Broken sauna ( a bit of a hazard) No breakfast if you're leaving early in the morning (7am).a breakfast bag would have been good. Complimentary water in the room would be good .

My experience at Casa Rosa was a mix of positives and negatives. The best part of the hotel is, without a doubt, the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The hotel itself has a simple, fresh, and charming design. It’s not a luxury property, but it is stylish and pleasant. Unfortunately, my first night was a very bad experience. I found more than six cockroaches in my room, which meant I barely slept. When I reported the issue, the staff handled it professionally and immediately offered to move me to a superior room, which I appreciated. However, the new room had a different problem. The wooden ceiling creaked constantly throughout the night, probably because the building is very new. As a result, I also struggled to sleep during the following three nights. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. After four nights of poor sleep due to issues beyond my control, I believe the hotel should have offered greater compensation. They refunded the €100 pet fee, which I appreciated, but I felt it was not enough under the circumstances. At the very least, I believe the first night should have been refunded, as the cockroaches made it impossible to rest. I understand that, as the staff explained, cockroaches can occasionally appear in the area because of the sewer system and that regular pest control is carried out. However, seeing one outside or in a common area is very different from finding several inside a guest room. It’s a real shame because the hotel has a lot of charm, and the staff were excellent. Without these issues, my review would have been very different. Unfortunately, a good night’s sleep is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and because of these experiences, I cannot recommend staying here.

Such a lovely small boutique hotel - attention to detail - fabulous staff and facilities. Honestly bar and night time teas a big hit! Breakfast a delight - especially the French toast. Location ideal for old town, ferry port and train station.

Alles, de ligging, de sfeer het personeel heerlijk gezond ontbijt, de prachtige inrichting, aan ieder detail is gedacht; strandtas, iPhone oplader, paraplu ( gelukkig niet nodig gehad ) alles een dikke 10 Niks is te veel gevraagd je voelt je zeer welkom. Markus is een echte gastheer.

The B & B was well-appointed, super clean and the staff was friendly, accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Small touches like hot tea and cookies on our bed in the evening was a great touch! The proprietor said as we checked out and remarked how much we enjoyed our stay, “Welcome to the family!” We will be back.

Sara and her team were friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The pool area and sun lounge was peaceful and secluded. It was extremely relaxing.

A lovely spot in Olhao. I was there is the off-season, but there is lots of communal outdoor space and it looks like it would be a great spot to languish during the summer. And the breakfast was exceptionally good -- fresh fruit and eggs, yum.

I have mixed feelings about my experience, primarily due to the handling of fee-related communications and customer service. While the hotel itself is lovely and well-equipped, with a heated pool, a small but nice sauna, and lovely decor, I found the manager, Marcus, disrespectful and unkind when addressing my concerns about undisclosed fees. Specifically, I was unaware of a €25 late check-in fee for arrivals after 8:30 PM, which was not clearly stated on the Booking site or in the booking confirmation. However, the communication clearly noted that the check-in is until 8:30 pm. It also clearly states to notify the hotel of late arrivals to best accommodate, but fails to clarify that a fee would apply. I was only informed about the fee when I mentioned that I would be arriving after check-in hours. I’ve traveled extensively and typically rely on Booking.com for reservations without needing to check individual hotel websites for hidden fees. The lack of clarity around check-in fees, especially compared to other clearly stated charges (like smoking fees), was frustrating. When I expressed my disappointment, Marcus responded dismissively, disrespectfully, and very defensively. However, I understand the reasons for charging a late fee. And I would Not mind paying for it if I were timely aware of it. My point was about the lack of clarity on Booking and the confirmation emails. Room Condition: Additionally, upon arrival, my room was quite cold, and we struggled to adjust the heater. Rather than receiving support, I felt blamed for not knowing how to operate the heating system. It would have been more considerate for the staff to ensure the room was warm before my arrival and to assist when we expressed a need for attention promptly. The room was so cold that we froze all night. And on top of everything, I was shamefully addressed for not knowing how to operate the room heater.

Chambre spacieuse. Très jolie avec de belles peintures au mur. Décoration très raffinée et élégante. Linge de maison très chic. Le thé chaud en soirée avec les figues! Super! Grande salle de bain. Literie absolument géniale ! Petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. La piscine ! Même si nous ne l'avons pas utilité car séjour rapide. Nous avons apprécié également les jeux en bois en soirée.

This lovely in was an oasis within the city. The manager went all out to make our stay AMAZING! From incredibly delicious breakfast to perfect suggestions on island excursions. FABULOUS. A 10!!

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich ein kleines Juwel - die Bilder haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Zentral in Olhao gelegen, ist es dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung und der Service ist wirklich außergewöhnlich (super leckeres Frühstück, abends Tee auf dem Zimmer), ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt.

Tutto in questo posto è molto curato. Mi è piaciuto davvero tutto, ma la cosa che mi ha colpito di più è l’attenzione dedicata al cliente dallo staff: la bevanda/cocktail di benvenuto, acqua caffè e una torta del giorno a disposizione per tutto il soggiorno, il tè caldo fatto trovare in camera tutte le sere, la piscina, i lettini e tutti gli spazi comuni in cui potersi rilassare nel cortile interno, ecc. Ho inoltre molto apprezzato il fatto che mettessero a disposizione anche i teli mare gratuitamente. La colazione è ottima e abbondante. Il parcheggio si trova facilmente in zona e il centro storico della città è a 2 minuti a piedi. Insomma, un piccolo angolo di paradiso, gestito divinamente da uno staff incredibile.

Gorgeous small hotel in a great location. The rooms are simple but beautifully decorated, and are set around a courtyard with a small pool and terrace. Breakfast was excellent, with lovely pastries and eggs cooked to order. The staff were really friendly and very helpful, offering us a welcome drink when we arrived and leaving tea and a snack in our room each day.

There a a fee for late check in, which should be highlighted when you book. But there really isn’t anything else to be changed about this lovely hotel.

Marcus, Sara and the team are so welcoming and really go above and beyond.

Prima locatie, kamer was goed, ontbijt was fantastisch. De extra douche en toilet kamer voor gasten die nog niet hun kamer inkunnen was erg fijn. Het honor systeem voor de drankjes maakt het erg makkelijk. De namiddag kruiden thee op de kamer was lekker. De hosts zorgen er voor dat je je zeer welkom voelt en verzorgen je goed.

La ubicación muy buena, el personal muy amable, te dejaban botella de agua en la habitación todos los días y servían té con galletas todas las tardes. Además tenías toallas para la piscina y podías beber agua y café todo el que quisieras.

El alojamiento está en una zona de parking de pago y el único parking público que se encuentra detrás siempre está lleno con lo que al final siempre tienes que estar pagando. El suplemento por mascota es excesivo 25€ por día.
