very limited option in breakfast. they say location is near Dal Lake which is not true. its not walking distance, you have to have a transport to go there.

During power cuts( which is frequent) they do not run DG set immediately ( only for lighting power is there) and the operation of Lift is stalled during this period . They normally wait for an hr or so before they run DG set to operate Lift and power points , during this period room kettle do not work also you have to use staircase which is painful for sr citizens like us.

Rooms were big enough. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and warm.

The restaurant could have been more cleaner . They should replace plastic crokerery with ceramic ones . Rooms should also have safe vault.

It was clean, room was modern and well maintained, bathrooms were spacious and clean too. Hotel has a restaurant included.

Hot water timer - I had to request for the hot water to be switched on outside of its timed hours, which they were happy to do.

The room we stayed was good in size. The sofa bed provided for 3rd person was really comfortable

located in a shabby locality right next to a mosque where you are woken up at 4 in the morning with loud noises,,very greedy staff always asking tips,,unkept toilets and rooms also not very clean.

Hotel Green Rooms offer a perfect blend of tranquility and hospitality, making it a must-visit destination in Kashmir.

This was our first trip to Srinagar and after a long research for hotel we found this hotel. Green rooms. We stayed here for 4 days and had a pleasent stay. Nice and clean room. Professional and well behaved staffs. Food was awesome. Would highly recommend this hotel and do include their meal plans. Tasty and healthy food Specially I would like to say Mr UBAID and his team Continue your good work 👍

Bad location. The hotel asked to cancel our booking on the app, and give dinner as complimentary which seemed unethical. Also the location is no where near Dal Lake as the property claims. So is quite misguiding. You would need a taxi to go to Dal Lake.

By God's Grace, I happened to stay here & enjoyed the stay. Their rooms & food are superb. One thing to mention about House keeping Mgr by name Mr.Waseem is very VERY GOOD IN making guests happy & get them satisfied with his kind words and immediate response of helping & giving services! Wonderful ! Keep it up!!

I did not check in as after viewing the room it was a total let down , rooms were smelly and dingy with practically no windows or view , in a big room TV provided was 20 inches , hotel looked more like a lodge

Perfect place to stay however lacks marginally on location. Else everything was good. staff, food, rooms were all great.

location describes near Dal Lake... it is not the case though. It is in lanes surrounded by residential area and therefore not too good on terms of location.

Slight smell of naphthalene at the room, lack of natural ventilation and limited options for breakfast but in general it's a great place.

Food is good and interior design is very cozy! Staff are helpful. Beds are comfortable. Cleanliness is ok.

Warm water not always available (improve the building insulation to save energy and give us warm water instead!); staff are somewhat pushy by European standards (ok by Indian standards).

I liked the location and all staff we good

The hotel is centrally located. Dal Lake, Lal chowk market area are approximately 1.5km away from this hotel. The rooms were clean and warm, food was delicious and staff was courteous. A highly recommended and must stay place in Srinagar.

Everything was perfect in this hotel, service , rooms , hot water , heating .. Tariq- housekeeping manager is great Ubaid - from the restaurant is amazing as well . Everyone is so understanding and hospitable , we loved it . It was such a sweet gesture that they even gave us a sweet box on the occasion of Republic Day.

Room size, bathroom size and amenities. Staff behaviour very nice.

Location not great. There was construction/maintenance going on in the hotel. Too much noise. You can hear sounds from other rooms. Linens were Not Clean, we asked for replacement twice, no one really did, so we avoided asking again.

Location: the hotel is located at a perfect place, walking distance from Dal lake, polo view market and famous restaurants like Mughal Darbar and Ahdoos. Facilities were well maintained.

the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome received from the staff. The courteous and attentive service provided by the entire hotel staff truly made my stay memorable. We had a good stay. It is near to dalgate. We had good food.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site provided a nice breakfast. You can either order their buffet or from the room service menu for dinner. The rooms were comfortable and homely. Having a backup generator on site was helpful as it appeared to be utilized a lot during our stay. The staff served Kashmiri tea on arrival, which was a very nice touch. Heat pumps provided in each room!

The hotel reception wasn't the most organised - they weren't aware of our booking when we arrived (a disconcerting experience) and had the wrong room rates on the initial check-out invoice. The hot water was sometimes intermittent - best in the morning. Be aware that daily housekeeping is not undertaken.

1) The restaurant is horrible. We tried several dishes but none of the dishes tasted good. We ordered achari chicken which very sour so we asked replacement dish (chicken tikka masala) but the same fish was modified and served. 2) They staff entered the room while we were inside without informing or knocking the door

Five stars for location i must say..Which is just besides Dal lake.Rooms are very spacious Service is quick and great. Food was Superb.. Great spread of breakfast and buffet dinners. Overall this is place where one can spend long time without roaming around. Surrounded by Dal lake this property gives you a sense of serenity and peace. Especially when you wake up in the morning.

The hotel is very close to the dal lake.but that is just one of the positive things about Hotel Green Room's.the staff are extremely friendly and accomodating.the rooms are spacious and very clean.the food was delicious and their buffet had many options.overall I would say an amazing stay we had at The Green Room's.

Great place to stay when you’re in Srinagar. The central heating in the hotel makes it cozy and comfortable even in freezing cold. The food is really good. the chef cooked a special dinner with some really tasty preparations. The hotel staff is also very helpful and hospitable. We were thoroughly satisfied!

The hotel is situated at the heart of Shrinagar. Tourist places are near by. Moreover, The staff members and service boys are so Co operative and behave politely always ready to help. The dinner facility is beyond the Imagination as buffet dinner is available. The dinner management staff is polite, generous and ready to help especially, Mr Wasif, Meer Insha, Mudasir Khan and Irfan. Thank you very much for making our trip Joyous.

We were there last week and the Reception desk staff Omar and his colleague were very hospitable and quick with their service and pleasant demeanour. We stayed at the hotel for three nights, and I can confidently say, we experienced the best service ever from the team. I injured my leg while i was out. Upon my return to the hotel, the team noticed. They sent me a hot water bag and even offered to send up food to my room. When we came down for dinner, we were so well taken care of, it was a pleasure to be amidst such an amazing team. During the middle of the night, they even got me an ice pack and some medication to apply on the wound. Thanks all the staff of hotel Green rooms for taking care of our needs throughout the stay, creating some amazing memorable moments for us with their kind service and hospitality. The rooms were exquisite and comfortable. The housekeeping services were great. Receptionist very humble and nice. We booked by mistake 3 nights, but we wanted only 2 nights, what we realized at the checkout. They where unbelievable helpful and didn't charge the 3rd night, what was our mistake 🙏🙏We are really thankful, if we come back to Srinagar, we will only stay at Hotel Green Rooms.
