La recepcionista tuvo una cálida sonrisa y despedida de las que se quedan grabadas cuando hice el check in Son esos detalles que marcan la diferencia. Sin duda repetiré 🙏🏻

L'accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité de nos hôtes et leur gentillesse. Très jolie chambre bien aménagée dans des cottages sur jardin. Propreté irréprochable. Services de transfert depuis l'aéroport parfaitement organisé. Et le must : le choix du chauffeur de taxi. Chapeau bas Monsieur et belle leçon sur l'art de conduire. Grâce à son talent, nous avons réussi à attraper notre avion de retour alors que tout semblait perdu. Nous avions prévu large, mais l'Inde décide du flow :)-Compter 3 bonnes heures pour rejoindre l'aéroport est un minimum.

They really understand good hospitality here. The house is beautiful and they are so useful with regards to pointing things out to do in the vicinity. It felt very welcoming.

It's a small thing but I wish there was some more variety with the breakfast. It is very nice though.

Very knowledgeable hosts who provided a map and history of the local area. They provided great tourist advice/recommendations on where to shop and where to visit. Clean rooms, great facilities and fantastic location. Also helped arrange transport from the airport.

Beds are quite firm - I don't mind, but this can be a problem for those not used to it. Really no complaints though.

Location was excellent and family running the Homestay were helpful and efficient. We enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table, talking with other residents.

This is an amazing place to stay, steeped in history with very lovely owners. We loved chatting with Christopher and Charlotte. The location is ideal, very central yet green and quiet. Our room was spacious with the air condition and wifi working well. A special highlight was the breakfast which was generous and tasty. We can't wait to come back!

The sitting room could do with brighter sofa but otherwise comfortable and practical area for reading as the owners have carefully collected all sorts of information, history and articles.

Geweldig, fijne, mooie en historische plek gerund door een zorgzame toegewijde familie. Gezellig ontbijt met andere gasten. Deze plek in Fort Kochi is perfect. Het huis ademt geschiedenis net als de omgeving. Mooie binnentuin, kleine sfeervolle veranda bij ons apartement, mooi houtwerk, heerlijk bed en douche: Veel gezellige leuke hippe eettentjes in de buurt. Combinatie toeristisch en authentiek. Zou er voor een volgende keer weer heen gaan.

Kühles schönes Zimmer mit Miniveranda zum Sitzen im kleinen Garten, eine Oase im Touristentrubel in Kochi. Altes Haus mit Geschichte. Ganz außergewöhnliche herzliche hochgebildete Gastgeber, Christopher Walton und seine Tochter Charlotte. Wunderbare kommunikative Frühstückssituation. Man isst mit anderen hochinteressanten internationalen Einzelreisenden an 2 Gemeinschaftstischen. Da entspannen sich gerade zur Kochi Biennale hochinteressante Gespräche.

We couldn't have the breakfast. It was very comfortable and conveniently located.

The people at the other place we stayed were friendlier and also we got more value for the same cost (breakfast and dinner). Charlotte did warm up, eventually and I liked her. I wouldn't say they were unfriendly, but the Waltons definitely came across as somewhat reserved. Charlotte's food recommendations were spot on.

We really felt at home at Walton's Homestay. We extended our stay for a couple of days. because we enjoyed so much there. The family was so inviting, gave us great recommendations for activities in the area and greeted us every morning with an amazing breakfast. They even prepared a special tea for my friend who got sick.

The property was very well located and had a lovely feel about it, which extended to the hosting family who were very accommodating and helpful.

Wonderful, well equiped, very clean room with garden view, amazing location (right in Kochi old town, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants everywhere in the street), delicious breakfast, super nice and helpful staff. We spend more money than usual for a night in Kerala but it was definitely worth it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect. Most all of the sights were within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have a homemade breakfast each morning in the large kitchen/dining room. Charlotte and her husband were lovely hosts. I definitely recommend Walton's Homestay to any Fort Kochi visitors!

This was one of my best stays in India! The location right in the middle of Fort Kochin couldn't be better and there's a lot to explore nearby. My room was big and sparkly clean and opened into a nice garden. WiFi was fast and stable, a/c unit and shower/bathroom worked without issues. The host and her staff were very kind and made sure that I feel at home here. The included breakfast was delicious too; it was nice to share a table with other guests. Everything here truly felt like a home away from home.

We received a warm welcome at Waltons Homestay everyone was great and Charlotte gave us some great advice about places to eat and activities. We were given a great walking tour that took us around the historic part of Fort Cochin. The homestay is in the nicest part of town with lots of super places to eat and if you are a shopper you are in for a treat. Our room was amazing with a lovely bathroom and a terraces overlooked a lovely shaded garden with pond, A great breakfast with lots of choices, Fruits toast eggs freshly made juice and you eat in a large kitchen dining area.

We requested a ground floor room due to mother’s incapacity to handle stairs, however to access the dining hall she had to negotiate 32 steps twisting up in direction and this was a struggle for her. Meals weren’t available for room service or any ground floor service areas. Daughter of the family quite rude and unsympathetic to a number of our concerns. Some of the facilities in the room not working eg TV and some electrical sockets, as well as daily construction noise next to our rooms.

A quiet beautiful place in the very Center of Fort Cochin. Exceptionally helpful and friendly owners. Very clean and comfortable rooms adjoining a serene, charming garden with a koi pond. Breakfast was served at big tables so you got to talk to other guests and exchange travel stories. Overall a great place!

Séjourner chez Walton’s Homestay a été une véritable parenthèse enchantée. Dès l’entrée, on est enveloppé par une ambiance cocooning, avec un jardin intérieur luxuriant qui invite à la détente. La chambre que nous avons occupée reflétait à merveille le charme portugais de la maison : mobilier en bois sculpté, carrelage ancien, et une décoration soignée qui raconte une histoire. Mais ce qui rend l’expérience inoubliable, c’est l’accueil. Chaleureux, attentionné, et profondément humain. Nous avons partagé un délicieux déjeuner typique, cuisiné avec générosité et passion, dans une atmosphère conviviale qui nous a permis de mieux comprendre la culture locale. Une adresse précieuse pour ceux qui cherchent authenticité, calme et rencontres vraies.

Être au cœur de Fort Kochi tout en étant au calme. L'hébergement était agréable pour quelques nuits, chambres spacieuses et propres, petit déjeuner continental.

Le petit hic est l'humidité bien présente dans les chambres mais la tenue de cette Homestay est très bien.

Van het ontbijt hadden we veel meer verwacht. Als je de gasten dan louter een continentaal ontbijt wilt aanbieden, maak het dan uitgebreider. Meer dan twee soorten fruit, koude koffiemelk als optie, een betere verse fruit juice, yoghurt, etc.

This homestay is in an EXCEPTIONAL location for seeing all of the amazing things in Fort Kochi. Superb restaurants and shops nearby. There was even a fairly well stocked little grocery shop just down the street. You could not ask for a better location.

The entry area could have been a little more inviting or have just a bit more signage to help you know that you are in the right place. It is not essential, but would help assure visitors.

Waltons family was absolutely kind and helpfull, they gave us suggestions about how spend the tine in Cochin, and help us in arranging our activities and transfers between cities. The room was spacious and clean, the position perfect, just in the center of fort cochin!

Beautiful historical building, good character and atmosphere!! but the most important thing is super nice family there. They make your stay comfortable. The father is so kind, funny and explains all, the mother cooks yummy breakfast, the daughter helps activities etc. They treated me like part of their family. The weather wasn’t perfect, quiet season but I enjoyed my time in Cochin. Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you so much .

EVERYTHING. This property is not only beautiful, full of charm, green and very well located. It is also managed by the loveliest persons in town! Charlotte and her dad are such good hosts. They gave us good addresses, tips for the visits, even a map handmade to explain the neigbourhood and all the good things to see in Fort Kochi. The breakfast was amazing, in a room full of light, freshly cooked in front of the guests. The room was very clean, beautifully arranged and in a green and beautiful garden. Beds were very confortable. I warmly recommand this property for anyone who want to have the perfect stay!

For Waltons read warm, welcoming and wise. Lovely people, great room, enchanting garden - a joy to visit them again. A true oasis in the heart of Fort Kochi.

The staff and grounds were amazing. I arrived under the weather and fatigued, I was looked after with care and within a day and a half I was 100% again.

Waltons Homestay was quite simply fantastic in all aspects. I was greeted by Mr Walton who provided a hand drawn map with recommendations for food, drinks, cultural sites and the best ways to travel around Fort Kochi. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and provided all necessities. Breakfast was ideal and provided a pleasant way to meet the rest of the Walton family. The location is central and provided a good location to travel from. If I am ever again in the area I will be sure to come back to Waltons Homestay.

The nicest place we stayed in Kerala. A very interesting host, a perfect, comfortable room in a lovely garden, a perfect location. It can't be beaten, including for the price. Highly recommended.

The Homestay is ideally located close to the seafront and all sorts of shops, cafes and bars many in the same street. The freshly prepared breakfast was a great way to start the day.

We had an exceptional experience at Walton’s Homestay! The location is perfect, surrounded by lush greenery, and the property is beautifully maintained, offering a serene and quiet environment at night. The hosts were outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Mr. Walton and his daughter are the absolute sweetest and provided excellent guidance, answering all our questions about the area. The room was incredibly comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved visiting Walton’s boutique, run by Mr. Walton’s youngest daughter, where we picked up some lovely items. Highly recommend this gem!
