התחשבנות על כל קערת אורז לבן קטנה בתוספת תשלום, למרות שהאוכל מראש היה יחסית יקר. גם קפה , אחרי ארוחת הבוקר גובים אקסטרה כסף,. תחושה שבמקום להיות יותר לארג' אז יותר התחשבנות על כל עוגיה או כוס קפה.

C’est un havre de paix, de calme, l’idéal pour couper du reste. C’est ultra confortable tout en restant authentique ! Ce qui fait son charme. La nourriture est excellente, j’ai rarement aussi bien mangé ! Surtout le wok au bœuf Miam! Le personnel est adorable et d’une gentillesse comme il se fait rare. On m’a aidé à organiser les visites, à réserver les taxis etc. J’ai également eu la chance de faire connaissance avec la propriétaire, Lua, gentille, souriante et qui m’a aidé à organiser mon transfert pour la suite de mon road trip. Bref allez y je recommande vraiment !!!

Il nostro soggiorno al Lua è stato una delle esperienze più belle e autentiche del nostro viaggio in Vietnam. La posizione è meravigliosa, immersa tra risaie e montagne, nel silenzio e nella natura di Pù Luông. Quello che ci ha conquistati, però, non è stato solo il paesaggio, ma la sensazione di trovarci in un luogo ancora autentico, lontano dal turismo di massa. Tutto al Lua è semplice, accogliente e genuino, esattamente ciò che speravamo di trovare. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Lua e allo staff, sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e attento. Ci hanno aiutato in ogni nostra richiesta, dall’organizzazione degli spostamenti alle attività da fare nella zona, trovando sempre una soluzione e facendoci sentire davvero accolti e coccolati. Abbiamo amato il cibo, l’atmosfera e soprattutto la possibilità di svegliarci ogni mattina davanti a un paesaggio incredibile. Siamo ripartiti da Pù Luông con dei ricordi bellissimi e con un unico rimpianto: non esserci fermati più a lungo. Lua non è semplicemente un posto dove dormire: è parte dell’esperienza di scoprire questo angolo meraviglioso del Vietnam. ❤️ Assolutamente consigliato!!!!

Cadre idyllique, nous avons eu un lodge vue sur les rizières. Personnel vraiment très sympathique et à l'écoute. 2 piscines à débordement, superbes. La cuisine est en effet remarquable.

Pas grand chose à dire : des détails comme le pommeau de douche un peu léger et quelques insectes dans chambre (normal vue la situation en pleine campagne et sous les arbres).

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. It’s a family run hotel and with only local people as staff. A real highlight was the food: knowing it comes fresh from the hotel’s own garden makes every meal feel special. The setting is beautiful too, with an idyllic view that’s hard to beat. Because there aren’t too many guests at any one time, the whole place has a wonderfully intimate, almost family-like atmosphere. As an added bonus, the hotel has the sweetest, most friendly dogs, as well as a lovely cat: a real treat for animal lovers. We’d happily come back. We even extended our stay for one more night.

Lua Pu Luong est un endroit magnifique dans une région qui l'est tout autant (Nous avons pu louer un scooter et visiter les alentours). Nous étions vraiment très bien installés dans notre Bungalow. Le restaurant est délicieux. L'équipe très sympathique. Le lieu est pensé avec beaucoup d'intelligence (tant d'un point de vue écologique que touristique).

La literie et la gentillesse de la dame qui nous a accueilli , l'esprit général de l'établissement ; très cabane

No tengo palabras para describir esta maravilla de hotel. Se encuentra en un enclave idílico. En medio de la naturaleza y con vistas a campos de arroz. Todo lo que lo rodea es naturaleza en su pleno explendor. Flora, fauna… Cuenta con dos piscinas infinity que son para perder la cabeza. Agua cristalina que refleja la jungla. Todo el hotel está cuidado al detalle manteniendo la esencia de la vida y costumbres locales. La regente es una persona tan amable y buena y nos ayudó tanto para poder llegar desde Hanoi sin problemas que solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento hacia ella. Todo el personal fue amable y cuidados. Las comidas cocinadas allí estaban deliciosas y contaban con múltiples opciones también preservando las recetas locales. Alquilamos moto (facilitada por ellos) para movernos por la zona y disfrutar de la gente local y zonas visitables. SI ESTÁS LEYENDO ESTO NO LO DUDES Y DISFRUTA DE ESTA MARAVILLA DE HOTEL.

Che dire, noi abbiamo adorato ogni istante del nostro soggiorno qui. Il posto che è riuscita a creare Lua è davvero magico. Le camere, diverse tra loro, sono tutte bellissime, molto confertevoli, pulite e arredate con gusto, si vede la cura con la quale nessun dettaglio è stato lasciato al caso. Come anche nel cibo, il menù, pensato con prodotti locali è più che ottimo, dalla colazione alla cena! La natura in cui si è immersi è di una bellezza unica e la posizione è perfetta per esplorare i dintorni di Pu Luong sia a piedi che in motorino (possibilità di noleggiarlo in struttura) ed immergersi nell’affascinante cultura del popolo Thai, ma è anche perfetta per rilassarsi. Un grazie speciale allo staff, dolcissimo, gentile e super disponibile, che ci ha fatti sentire sempre a casa. È un luogo dove si respira pace e autenticità, ci saremmo rimasti volentieri molto più tempo, speriamo di riuscire a tornarci!

Bella struttura e atmosfera, stanze pulite.

Letto talmente duro e scomodo che ho passato la prima notte in bianco: ho la scogliosi ma non ho problemi gravi alla schiena, ma un dolore tale che in nessuna posizione e nemmeno con tre cuscini allineati sotto il corpo riuscivo a dormire. Le braccia formicolavano e si addormentavano. Stavo bene prima di coricarmi. Lo staff dopo aver espresso il problema mi ha fornito un topper per il materasso e la seconda notte é andata meglio. Avendo però cambiato stanza, c’erano dei buchi nel tetto e pioveva in camera. Al mattino ci siamo svegliati e c’erano una marea di formiche sul water. Bagno separato dalla camera con una tendina, quindi poca privacy. Le pareti e le finestre sono tutte aperte, per cui non c’è umidità ma possono entrare insetti e animali di piccole dimensioni. Noi non abbiamo fatto incontri. Ma siamo immersi nella natura e questo va considerato se si prenota.

De mes 3 semaines au Vietnam, Lua pu luong restera mon meilleur souvenir 🥰. Le lieu et l équipe : EXCEPTIONNELS. Les dîners et petits déjeuners de qualité (produits frais) sont dignes d'un restaurant étoilé. La présentation très soignée. L'équipe d une douceur et gentillesse qui mérite d être saluée. Tout est fait avec sobriété et élégance. Nous avons eu la chance d être accompagné d'un adorable guide qui nous a fait vivre des expériences inoubliables. BRAVO ! BRAVO ! Je ne peux pas noter, ça vaux plus que 10 😉.

Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort. Die Aussicht ist toll, der Pool mit Terrasse, die liebevoll gestalteten Hütten und Wege. Alles lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Personal iat sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen!

Surrounded by rice terraces and inside a natural tropical garden, Lua Pu Luong is one of the best places we stay in Vietnam. Lua was really kind and help us with transportation and everything during our stay. A special mention for the reception staff and the kitchen: the food was delicious, tasting and, as vegetarians, definitely the best we have in Vietnam so far!!!

Un havre de paix dans la verdure . Sympathique bungalow sur pilotis au milieux des rizières en escalier La patronne Lua ( Soie) était une ancienne ingénieure dans la construction et amatrice d’objets d’anciens du coup la décoration du restaurant est très stylé , un petit coin salon avec des pour lecture autour de la cheminée ( bien apprécié pour les soirs de novembre où la température est fraîche). Le personnel est gentil et serviable La cuisine est bien raffinée A recommander absolument

Beautiful location. Incredibly nice staff. Wonderful family run restaurant, just order in advance if you’re in a hurry, otherwise the common area is a beautiful relaxing place to hang out while you wait for your food. Two well-behaved pet dogs roam around, always eager for an ear-scratch. We stayed in the family bungalow with our two kids, and it was magical. The semi-outdoor bathroom was lovely, and they had seemingly endless hot water for showers and hot baths for everyone. The beds were quite comfortable and the mosquito nets were new and nice and free of holes. We were there in mid December, and the evenings were chilly, but they always had the fireplace going in the common area, a lovely place to sit and have a beer and read a book. We spent much of our time at the property itself, which was still relaxing despite the construction going on (they are expanding by building two more large family villas, and construction runs every day from 7 AM to 5 PM sharp). But we took walks to the near village, 1-2km away, or even to the next valley over, which provide provided us with a nice scenic 12 km out and back. Lua and her staff were incredible, and we would happily stay here again anytime!

the pictures are very yoga-oriented, but I don't think this is the main scope there. It's just wonderful to wander around and discover Pu Luong. The staff is AMAZING, always helpful and kind, in any situation. It's been heartwarming to stay there, Lua is a strong woman and I wish her all the best.

Un Lodge à dimension humaine où la nature, le souci du détail, l’authenticité des choses font de ce lieu, un lieu exceptionnel. La vue sur les rizières et le potager est enivrante. La recherche d’esthétique ne se fait pas au détriment du confort : literie parfaite, eau chaude… La nourriture locale parfaitement exécutée. Pas de buffet au petit déjeuner : enfin! Et vous pouvez aussi bien demander du sucre que du salé. Possibilité de louer un 2 roues. La piscine est super. Et le petit feu de cheminée à la tombée du jour est la cerise sur le gâteau. La gentillesse du personnel. L'excellente cuisine (un peu plus chère qu'ailleurs en raison de la haute qualité des ingrédients et du travail). Tout a été parfaitement conçu, dans le respect de l'environnement. Un havre de tranquilité au milieu des rizières en terrasse. Lua nous a organisé les transferts, ce que nous avons grandement apprécié. Je recommande vivement ce lodge et remercie toute l'équipe!

Posizione incantevole davanti alle risaie. Bungalow molto carino davanti alla bellissima piscina. Bella l'ampia sala della colazione arredata con molto gusto, dove si poteva anche cenare. Buona la colazione con frutta e un'opzione a scelta tra pancake o omelette. Le ragazze della reception molto gentili. La cena buona ma con prezzi un po' al di sopra della media

Migliorerei l'impianto di illuminazione del bungalow ed aggiungerei due sedie con un piccolo tavolino nel patio antistante.

Hôtel en pleine nature avec une vue à couper le souffle. On y accède à pied par un petit chemin en passant un petit pont en bambou et en gravissant quelques marches. Les valises sont acheminées en moto. Le revers de la médaille est qu'il est compliqué de se déplacer autour de l'hôtel pour faire des visites. On peut aller à pied pour voir les rizières en terrasse mais pour les autres visites, il vaut mieux envisager de louer un scooter car tout est à environ 2 heures de marche. Idem pour les repas : on n'a pas trop le choix en dehors du restaurant de l'hôtel. Cela dit, nous avons eu le chance d'y passer une excellente soirée en compagnie de vietnamiens qui nous ont invité à nous joindre à eux pour fêter la mi-automne. Mémorable soirée. Merci à eux et à Lua 🙂

Lua Pu Luong non è un semplice alloggio con vista risaie, è un posto magico, intenso ti fa capire dove ti trovi, ti fa apprezzare la bellezza del territorio di pu luong. La cura del dettaglio di Lua si vede in ogni piccola cosa trasmettendoti un senso di pace e serenità. La delicatezza e la dolcezza dello staff mi ha colpito molto in linea con il posto in cui ci si trova. Un altro dettaglio non scontato è la cucina, buonissima! Piatti cucinati secondo la tradizione ma con ingredienti di ottima qualità, credo sia il posto in cui ho mangiato meglio in tutto il mio viaggio in Vietnam! Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux à Lua Pu Luong. Niché en pleine nature, c’est l’endroit idéal pour une déconnexion totale. Nous avions deux bungalows, un pour les enfants et un pour les parents, juste à côté de la piscine. Le cadre est très calme, entouré de rizières, et la nourriture était délicieuse. Le personnel était adorable et nous avons été très bien guidés pour toutes les activités aux alentours. Il y a énormément de choses à faire. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de tester le yoga, mais tout le reste était parfait. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet endroit !

La struttura è perfettamente integrata nell’ambiente che la circonda, plastic free e senza sprechi, ci siamo sentiti accolti da Lua e dal suo gentilissimo staff, sempre pronto ad aiutarci con un sorriso. La cucina è tra le migliori che abbiamo provato in Vietnam, con ingredienti freschi direttamente dall’orto e un’ottima scelta anche vegetariana e vegana. Per noi è stato un posto magico! Aggiungiamo che Lua è stata molto disponibile nell’aiutarci a organizzare gli spostamenti.

This place was just magical. Calm and relaxing in a beautiful position in the middle of the rice fields.

Everything at this hotel is carefully curated. The staff is very friendly and courteous, always attentive to make you feel wonderful. The location is absolutely magnificent, above rice fields, surrounded by jungle, with the mountains in the background, and far enough away from the town to make you feel isolated and surrounded by nature. The rooms are beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the linens and pillows are top-quality. There's a huge yoga room, a pool with super-nice loungers, they help you organize all the activities in the area, and they arrange a driver for all transfers to and from the hotel, as well as for excursions. They offer massages, and the cuisine is spectacular. Without a doubt, this is a gem to recommend to lovers of tranquility and nature, without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. The hotel accommodates a maximum of 15 guests, ensuring a private and relaxed atmosphere. We were lucky enough to meet Lua, the owner, a very pleasant and attentive woman. We highly recommend the hotel.

We had an unforgettable family stay at Lua PuLuong Ecolodge. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the authenticity of the place and the warm welcome from Lua, the owner. She is an inspiring woman, passionate about her lodge and her region, and her kindness truly left a mark on our trip. Our family bungalow was spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfectly blended into the natural surroundings. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the heated mattress was a real treat during the cool December nights. As for the food, while there are no cafés or restaurants nearby, we absolutely loved having all our meals on-site. The cuisine is simply outstanding—refined, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The setting is breathtaking, with stunning views of the rice fields and surrounding mountains. But beyond the beauty of the location, it is the soul of this ecolodge and Lua’s generosity that make the experience so special. She took great care of us and our children, sharing her love for Pu Luong and helping us discover the region in the best possible way. A huge thank you to Lua and her entire team for these magical moments. We leave with precious memories and only one wish: to return one day!

Beautiful place with stunning views. The staff are incredible-the friendliest and most helpful we encountered in 4 weeks. The communal space with log fires is a lovely spot to sit and read. Hot herb baths are amazing. Good home cooked food served all day.

Room was very dark and lights very low. Couldn't see much inside. I don't think they can put chairs inside as floor is bamboo poles so uneven. Chairs on our balcony would have been comfortable but there were only small stools so we had to sit around pool.

We loved the beautiful setting with very peaceful surroundings.It allowed us to be able to really relax.The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay a truly memorable experience.

We 100% recommend both visiting Pu Luong and staying at Lua's. The area is very beautiful and (as yet) unspoiled by mass tourism. Lua's is a great combination of comfort, functionality and local style. A perfect place to chill out or use as a base for exploring. Food and service is top notch. Our best experience in Vietnam so far.

This place is absolute heaven! The staff and owner Lua are so so kind and gentle. As soon as we arrived we felt so peaceful and relaxed. The view is just wonderful overlooking the paddy fields. Plus, the pool and deck area are so nice for relaxing! We stayed in the bungalow and it was so beautifully decorated and every detail was thoughtful. The food was also delicious (highly recommend the spring rolls and beef pho) & we loved all the pottery too. You can do yoga in the top room overlooking the paddy fields, plus they can run you a lovely herbal hot bath in the evening. It’s also a short walk to some of the best scenery in Pu Luông. If you don’t want to walk, you can rent a motorbike from them to explore the area. Next time we will stay longer :)

Stunning little retreat nestled in the rice fields. I’m torn between keeping the place a secret so that it never changes and telling everyone about it - as it is absolutely beautiful and people should experience the beauty of Pu Luong and Lua’s hospitality. The rooms, the pool, the food, the staff, Lua, all the little details - everything truly is exceptional.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Lua Pu Luong. The service we received was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The pool offered an incredible view of the mountains and rice fields, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a warm day. This hidden gem is ideal for relaxation and serenity. The place is located in a wonderful location with a spectacular view, the structure is very beautiful and elegant and every corner has some special details. We loved our room facing the swimming pool, it was clean and comfortable. Don’t expect to come here and have the facilities of a business hotel, its a special place, build with natural materials and respecting the nature. The owner, Lua, was the best host, welcoming, sweet and it was great to hear her life story. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to be back ❤️🌱

What an incredible place to stay. The location is just amazing, overlooking rice paddies without any other hotels around. The rooms were stunning, simple but very beautifully done. Swimming in the infinity pool with the views was wonderful. The food was delicious.

Exceptional! A highlight stay of our 3 week Vietnam trip. The accommodation, and surrounding area are beautiful. Lovely & private. Away from lots of tourists! The authentic home cooked meals by the lovely staff was some of the best food we had on our trip. Highly recommend staying here.

Outstanding staff. As for the location, Pu Luong is clearly outside the beaten path. More remote than Mai Chau, with more character. If you like remote places, this is where you would want to stay, in the middle of rice terraces. The on-site restaurant served one of the best food we’ve had in our entire 3 weeks in Vietnam.

On the pricey side, even more so than the rest of Pu Luong. (Just a FYI, not a complaint: due to the remoteness of the hotel, you most likely will eat there every night. It is quite expensive and it does add up so account for some extra budget)

We just adored Lua’s place. The view from the property is absolutely ravishing - I couldn’t stop staring at it. The food was delicious, filled with fresh herbs from their garden. It’s the best we’ve had through our Vietnam trip. The staff was very nice and engaging. Pu Luong is a hidden gem. Only 4/5h drive from Hanoi and with lots of walks and villages to discover. We were there right during the beginning of the rice harvest season and it was magical. The people in the villages were always very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Amazing site. A mix of rice field and mountain. Fireflies when lights our out. Beautiful natural surroundings. A genuine ecolodge made of bamboo and second hand wood. An exceptional experience in this part of Vietnam (we wanted to avoid touristic places). Special thanks to the staff for being so attentive to our needs at the reception, to the cook (the food was exceptional), and to Lua the manager for everything else ♥️.
