Everything was fine, however the bed wasnt as comfortable as one might like, but that is just me, everything else was perfect.

En el área que me toco alojarme, el baño estaba fuera dela habitación, solo ese detalle no me gusto mucho, pero tiene todo lo necesario para hacer amena tu estadia.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Host was friendly and hospitable. I liked the terrace, the shared living and kitchen area, as well as the ability to use laundry room. Shared spaces were inviting and modern. Guests were respectful, and kept to themselves. Food stored in the refrigerator was left alone by other guests.
I did not like that there were so many stairs to access both the main floor and additionally my room. I traveled with my mother who has problem with her knee and it was a daily task to climb stairs and carry luggage. Additionally, both of our rooms had their own bathrooms, which is a plus. However, both bathrooms were not connected to our rooms, making them inconvenient to access in the middle of the night and in general when getting ready. The rooms did not have a morror, so it was challenging to get ready, unless you go to the bathroom. The rooms and my bathroom were generally clean but noticeably not deep-cleaned. My comforter had stains and there was an accumulation of dust in corners of the rooms, underneath the beds, and bathroom shower floor was slippery due to lack of deep cleaning. I had to wear my flip flops to shower. Towels and pots/pans worn. If you arent picky about cleaningless, it will not both you a bit.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026My stay here was great, the room was big enough for one person. The view from the top floor is great and the staff respects the space they provide for their guests staying here. Overall safe and budget option based on my experience.
This wasn't on my mind at the time before booking the room on the last floor, it gets quite hot during the summer. Even though the staff does provide a fan for the room, it doesn't do much unless you move it near the window.

El trato del personal fue bueno al inicio de mi estancia. Sin embargo, al momento de la salida la experiencia cambió. Solicité si era posible resguardar mis maletas por un momento y no recibí respuesta. Además, al despedirme con un “buenos días”, la respuesta fue únicamente “12 es la salida”, lo que percibí como poco amable. Entiendo que cada lugar tiene su estilo y que la zona y el precio influyen en el tipo de servicio, pero considero que la cortesía y la comunicación básica siempre marcan la diferencia. Comparto esto con ánimo constructivo para que puedan mejorar la experiencia de futuros huéspedes.

Beto fue cordial al inicio del proceso y el check-in fue claro. Sin embargo, mi experiencia tuvo algunos puntos que podrían mejorar. Llegué con dos maletas y, aunque se notaba que estaba teniendo dificultad, no hubo ofrecimiento de apoyo. También noté tiempos de respuesta lentos en la comunicación, y en una ocasión no recibí respuesta a mi solicitud para resguardar una maleta, lo cual hubiera agradecido al menos una confirmación, incluso si la respuesta era negativa. La zona es más tipo barrio y personalmente me hizo sentir un poco inseguro, aunque esto puede variar según cada persona. Comparto estos comentarios con la intención de que puedan mejorar la experiencia para futuros huéspedes.

Me quedé en la habitación de la terraza y para llegar ahí, debía subir muchas escaleras y tenía dos maletas. De igual forma, el anfitrión me ayudó pero sería bueno que si llevan mucho equipaje, solicitar una habitación en la casa y no en terraza.

The only difficult part was having to walk out of the room to the bathroom but we didn’t mind. Mostly sometimes awkward when I came out of the shower undressed and ran into other tenants.

Beto, the host, is a really lovely guy. Couldn’t have felt safer and more comfortable - we will be back :)! Xx

Reviewed Mar 9, 2025Our whole experience was fabulous. The owners were very responsive and live on the property. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's a comfortable lounge area to sit and watch movies (several services are provided). There's also an outdoor rooftop patio to sit and enjoy the weather and the stars. Our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. There was also a nice sized flat screen TV, a desk and chair, and a place to hang up clothes. There is a very large market, several grocery stores, and a fair number of restaurants nearby. The cleaning ladies keep the place spotless and are very kind. We would highly recommend staying here.
The rooms start after climbing two flights of steep stairs. The building is five stories tall (the owners live on the first two stories), and there are rooms on each of the top three stories. Walking up the stairs can be strenuous even without luggage. Having said that, we would still definitely stay again, but it is something to be aware of.

Reviewed Feb 12, 2025Excellent internet for digital nomads. Set up like a home away from home with beautiful decor. It is stocked up with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It has a rooftop bar setting and a good place for your dog to roam and you to relax. Free laundromat a bonus! The hosts and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Not a tourist area and limited slightly as a solo female traveller but nothing an Uber can’t fix. If you a traveling with heavy luggage be aware you will need to climb many stairs to access your room.

Reviewed May 4, 2024Cleanest property we’ve stayed in! It has beautiful shared spaces, the bedroom had a comfy bed and the shower was nice and hot. The laundry facilities were a much appreciated bonus. The location seemed safe with many restaurant options close by and about a 30 min drive to Centro. The property managers/owners Alberto and Tatiana are really lovely and helpful people! Check-in was simple too. Highly recommended!
