I absolutely loved this place! Beautiful property, friendly staff, the rooms are so nice and the pool and dining experience there was so good! The food was phenomenal and drinks and as a solo traveler it was a perfect get away!

I only wish I had more time to stay! I was there two days and wish I could have done the wine Tour but ran out of time

The location was convenient for exploring the area and the property itself had some nice outdoor spaces. Unfortunately, there wasn't much more than this that we liked.

There were unfortunately a lot of issues here. On our first day, housekeeping entered our room without knocking, and this continued to be a problem throughout the stay. There were no “do not disturb” signs, so cleaners would either enter or try the door while we were inside. Our room (81/82) was also directly beside the housekeeping cupboard, so we constantly heard trolleys banging around and staff talking outside. The fridge leaked water, there was no kettle or coffee despite a kettle being listed in the room description, no alternative pillows, no tissues or general bin, and bathroom products weren't restocked, I had to ask for more at Reception. One morning we ordered coffee from the bar and found what appeared to be bleach/cleaning powder on top of the lid. Thankfully we noticed before drinking it, but this was obviously concerning. The onsite restaurant was also extremely overpriced for the quality. Our food arrived cold and the beans were barely heated in water with no seasoning – I ended up adding my own oil and salt just to make them edible. We had significantly better meals nearby for around half the price. Overall, there were just too many basic issues for the price and I wouldn't stay here again.

True Italy with modern elegance. We stayed in the suite, which was amazing! Great space, with couch and everything you’d want. Great balcony with an unbelievable view. The restaurant is awesome. Great food. And the staff, amazing! For both hotel and restaurant. Couldn’t be nicer and did everything for us, and then some.

Hotel Villa Campomaggio is a beautiful property with stunning views and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, what should have been a wonderful stay was completely ruined by the staff’s attitude. The biggest issue throughout our stay was one waiter/bartender with curly hair, who was repeatedly rude, aggressive and unnecessarily confrontational towards us (if you read the reviews here, you will notice how many mention his behavior!). On several occasions, he spoke to us in an unacceptable tone and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. We were also treated condescendingly when asking if an iron was available. Instead of simply explaining the hotel’s policy, we were told that if we expected an iron in the room, perhaps we were only used to staying at agriturismos. We had no problem paying for the laundry service, but being told that our clothes would only be returned the following day was not helpful when we needed them that same evening. Once again, it wasn’t the policy that disappointed us—it was the attitude.

Other disappointing issues included: * No pool service, despite drink menus being displayed. * A large number of bees around the pool. I was stung despite being allergic. * No food available after 9 p.m., with absolutely no flexibility. * Inconsistent rules that seemed to depend on who the guest was. After reading many other reviews during our stay, we realized our experience was far from unique. Time and time again, guests describe the same issues: rude staff, people being shouted at and a complete lack of hospitality. It is genuinely sad because the hotel itself is beautiful. The owners have created a wonderful property, but some members of the staff behave as if they own it, and in doing so they are seriously damaging its reputation. We have travelled to more than 80 countries and stayed in hotels all over the world. We understand that every hotel has rules, and we have absolutely no problem respecting them. Hospitality is not about always saying “yes”—it’s about treating guests with respect and communicating policies professionally. People rarely remember every detail of a hotel, but they always remember how they were made to feel. Sadly, we left Hotel Villa Campomaggio feeling disrespected rather than welcomed. Had the service matched the beauty of the property, we would have recommended this hotel. Unfortunately, we cannot.

L'hôtel est charmant et les jardins ainsi que la piscine sont splendides. Très bon restaurant. Le cours de yoga était très agréable, j'ai eu la chance de voir deux cerfs gambader dans les vignes pendant le cours, c'était magique.

La chambre que nous avions n'était pas lumineuse du tout.

Tout. Séjour merveilleux. Les chambres spacieuses et romantique. Le personnel adorable. La piscine extraordinaire. Le lieux magique. Un week-end de rêve.

La camera era super spaziosa ed ottimamente arredata.

Il personale in servizio non appariva sufficiente considerando la quantità di ospiti. I tempi di attesa erano quindi lunghi sopratutto a colazione . Non c’era servizio in zona piscina il cui prato era poco curato .

קיבלנו חדר עם חלונות מאוד קטנים שמה שראו מהם זה את השמשיות של המסעדה מתחת. ולכן החדר היה חשוך מאוד.

The property feels like something straight out of a Hollywood Tuscany movie. Absolutely stunning with an incredible on site restaurant

The facilities were immaculate - the pool being a great additional to the hotel. We stayed for 5 nights in total and our room was cleaned and replenished of toiletries every day at around 10am. Staff were fabulous and helpful. General ambience was really tranquil and relaxing. Location is good in terms of wine tours and the main village (Greve). A car is an ABSOLUTE must.

The air conditioning is set to the temperature that I assume the hotel sets it too. Our room stated was 22.5 degrees in the room at all times - we could not lower this or increase the fan speed. Every day was 37 degrees outside and the room was far too hot! The bed and ‘duvet’. Extremely uncomfortable (very very hard). Didn’t sleep well at all during our stay. The ‘duvet’ was a very thin sheet with what can old be described as a rug on top of the bed. It was heavy but so uncomfortable. Hard to describe what it was like because i’ve never come across anything like it before. Very very uncomfortable and needs looking at at it seems to be a common dissatisfaction amongst guests. You get one key card - when you take it out to leave the room everything goes off - INCLUDING YOUR FRIDGE! AC remains on (not that its cold) but waters and drinks will be warm when you return. Maybe ask for a second card. Restaurant was very average and a little over priced. I would definitely recommend eating elsewhere as there are incredible places nearby. DO NOT use the laundry service. This was our fault but for one wash it was 50 euros.

Habitaciones muy amplias con una bonita y elegante decoración toscana. La piscina es espectacular y el personal de recepción muy amable (especialmente Marina), nos dio todas las facilidades posibles y nos orientó sobre actividades y visitas en el entorno. La villa esta situada en un precioso entorno rural. La limpieza es impecable.

El desayuno que ofrecen es limitado, poca variedad y precio caro, la relación calidad precio es mala. El personal de servicio de desayuno, cafetería y restaurante nos pareció regular, no muy profesional.

La SPA aveva più servizi malfunzionanti. La colazione non era il massimo e certo non valeva i 17 euro che chiedono a parte.

The staff at this place were so incredibly friendly. The food and the wine were excellent and the surroundings absolutely stunning. We wanted to do a wine tasting at a local winery and the receptionist lit up and gave us a ton of options. All in all, this is really a place where you can relax and enjoy your time!

Mi-a plăcut foarte mult restaurantul, atât mâncarea, cât și servirea. Personalul de acolo a fost foarte amabil și atent. Camerele sunt curate, amenajate cu bun gust și oferă o atmosferă plăcută. Micul dejun a fost bun, variat și suficient pentru toate gusturile. Per total, este un loc deosebit, într-o locație superbă, cu mâncare foarte bună și personal prietenos. În ciuda aspectelor pe care le-am menționat la capitolul minusuri, am avut o ședere plăcută și m-aș întoarce pentru peisaj, atmosferă și restaurant.

Prima impresie a fost destul de dezamăgitoare. La sosire ni s-a spus că nu există nimeni care să ne ajute cu bagajele, deși accesul nu este deloc comod: ori le cari pe scări, ori mergi prin spatele proprietății, unde există tot o pantă destul de abruptă. Un alt aspect este faptul că pentru orice solicitare trebuie să mergi personal la recepție. Domnul de la recepție a fost foarte amabil, însă părea că trebuie să se ocupe singur de check-in-uri, check-out-uri, programări la masaj și toate celelalte solicitări ale oaspeților. Am sunat în cameră pentru a cere un fier de călcat, însă mi s-a spus că trebuie să merg la recepție să îl ridic. Când am ajuns acolo, o altă recepționeră mi-a explicat că nu îl pot primi fără să plătesc. Sincer, este prima dată când întâlnesc această practică. Mi s-a spus că este o regulă în Italia și că ține de siguranță, deși am fost cazat și în alte hoteluri din Italia unde nu exista o astfel de procedură. Pe lângă garanție, se rețineau și 10 euro pentru „servicii”. Am întrebat la ce se referă acea taxă, iar răspunsul a fost „pentru servicii”. Am zâmbit și am întrebat dacă serviciul constă în faptul că am venit eu până la recepție să ridic fierul de călcat. În acel moment am renunțat. În plus, era un fier de călcat de dimensiuni foarte mici, genul pe care îl iei în bagaj, care probabil m-ar fi încurcat mai mult decât m-ar fi ajutat. Un alt lucru de știut este că în timpul sejurului se schimbă doar prosoapele și lenjeria, iar dacă dorești curățenie în cameră aceasta se taxează separat. Per total, am stat doar două nopți și camera a fost curată, așa că șederea a fost în regulă. Totuși, experiența a fost umbrită de politica hotelului și de lipsa unor servicii pe care le consider normale pentru o proprietate de acest nivel.

Hotel je nadherny, v nadhernom prostredi, skvely bazen, pán na recepcii bol veľmi priateľsky a milý, dokonca nám vyšli v ústrety keď sme tam prišli s dcérou a dodatocne ju ubytovali s nami.

Ceny v restauracii su prilis vysoke, takze sme sa chodili najest radsej do najblizsieho mestecka. Pan v bare ktory tam zvykol byt pocas ranajok a obeda nemal vzdy prijemme spravanie

The staff was very helpful and great. Pool with a fantastic view. Restaurant with fantastic staff and excellent cuisine. Villa well maintained, with various options, relaxation corners! It was +37 degrees outside, we were greeted when the air conditioner was turned on and apartment was very cool.

What can I add - The shower does not have a handheld showerhead, only a shower from above, the kitchen is inconvenient, old-fashioned, there was no kettle. It should be noted that you have to drive 700m along a dirt road (but this was honestly indicated in the booking). In general, the apartment is old-fashioned, which should be renovated

Loved it! Great for some relaxing time spent in beautiful gardens, around the pool, in the spa and at the restaurants, all with a beautiful vineyard view. And it has an electric car charger.

Loved it! The outdoor area could be tidied in the morning so that you could enjoy coffee out there, if you were not at the breakfast venue.

Our garden suite had very little natural light which for the money was rather disappointing.

This was a very high quality hotel with many designer influences. It has a large pool area and the service, food and support were all excellent. We would definitely rebook. There was generous parking and the setting was very quiet. Of all the hotels we stayed at in this region this one particularly excelled in the kitchen! Breakfast choices were extensive as were evening meals and everything prepared to perfection. We went for wine tasting arranged by the hotel in an adjacent property which was also excellent!

That we couldn’t stay longer!! We loved it!

לקחנו חדר דה לקס מומלץ בחום עיצוב מהמם וצבעוני חדר גדול כולל חדר אמבטיה מפנק ומרווח מאוד מאוד מקלחון גדול שירותים בנפרד שני כיורים גדולים ממש יפה . ארוחת בוקר טובה צוות מאוד נחמד באחד הימים חזרנו בערב מאוחר תשע וחצי היינו ממש רעבים והגענו שהמטבח כבר נסגר הצילו אותנו עם פיצה וסלט טעימים מאוד. במקום בריכה סאונה וג׳קוזי

מצופה מריזורט ברמה כזו ששטח הכניסה והשטיח הקבלה יהיו נקיים ולא יראו כאילו עבר זמנם ביחוד שהכל מסביב מוקפד . נקיון יומי לא נוקה כהלכה חדר השירותים נראו סימני לכלוך היו על הריצפה כמו כן למרות שביקשתי מראש ( ואני לא אמורה לבקש ) לא השאירו סבון ושמפו ביום השני והשלישי סך הכל ישנו שלושה לילות לות מהיום הראשון לא סופקו עוד סבון ושמפו ניראה לי לא לעניין

Le cadre et la beauté de l’établissement et son originalité. Le personnel est très très agréable

Il est dommage que la piscine ne soit pas nickel propre, le service des chambres n’a pas remis de café et gobelets ( d’ailleurs dommage que ce soit en carton les tasses) et notre lit n’a pas été bien refait pour notre dernière nuit , il manquait un drap!!) j’en ai informé la réception et on m’a fait un geste commercial…

Simplemente increible!

The hotel is in the most stunning location. It’s so quiet and peaceful there. Facilities are great - pool was lovely. We loved our room - felt so spacious and had a nice modern design - shower was amazing! Lorenzo was exceptional - so kind, hospitable, friendly and a genuine pleasure to talk to. He made our stay and we appreciated him greatly! We have had the best trip of our lives and Campomaggio is a big part!

No towel rails in the bathroom to hang the towels up. Also a bin the main bedroom would be good - there was only a bin in the bathroom.

The staff at the front desk are very capable and helpful. Lorenzo provided helpful assistance correcting a mistake in our booking which was most appreciated. Marina helped us with making reservations for local restaurants and provided helpful advice on wine. The new restaurant is a welcome onsite addition. Lovely, peaceful and pleasant. We had a relaxing stay.

Abbiamo scelto questo posto all’ultimo minuto per una notte in spa e si è rivelata un’esperienza eccellente. Il bagno turco è ampio e molto piacevole, mentre la jacuzzi è perfetta: acqua alla giusta temperatura, ideale per il relax. La struttura invita davvero a restare più giorni per potersi godere appieno il benessere offerto. La piscina è grande, il giardino ben curato e gli ampi lettini permettono di rilassarsi comodamente al sole. Unico piccolo difetto: in piscina l’acqua non è riscaldata, ma non ha compromesso l’esperienza complessiva. Ottima anche la cena in hotel, con una pizza di alta qualità. Personale di sala professionale e cortese. In generale, tutto è stato molto positivo. Ci tornerei volentieri.

The area and the hotel are beautiful. The spa is nice.

Part of the staff was really friendly, while part of it was not. We sat down on a bench at the terrace and got stung by wasps because there was a nest underneath it. We complained about it and the answer was that “usually, nobody seats there”. Breakfast was not included in our rate. There are no cafés within a 10 km radius, so the only option was the hotel breakfast, which costs €19 per person per day and significantly increases the overall price.

They kept forgetting to replenish the toilet paper. Even after calling reception. Restaurant is pricey.

The reception staff was good but the restaurant staff was not polite at all. The food at the restaurant was quite disappointing and they did not even have the courtesy to apologise for the bad experience. The hotel is a no frills hotel though it mentions luxury hotel. The provide disposable glasses for tea, coffee and water in the rooms. There is no service provided. Overall we were disappointed given the price we paid for the hotel

The surroundings were wonderful, nature, gardens - beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast great with a lot of choice and the staff was helpful and nice. Restaurant was also great as well as sauna part.

הגענו למלון לרגל יום הולדת 80 לאבי המשפחה. רמת השירות במלון לקראת ההגעה ובזמן השהות יוצאת דופן. המרחב הציבורי מהמם. החדרים גדולים. סוויטת הגן מהממת. הספא כייפי. בקומה השניה לקח מעט זמן עד שזרמו המים החמים ביום הראשון וזה השתפר ביום השני. מסעדת המלון מעולה.
