The family run hotel was a refreshing change - the loveliest people running it, always happy to help. It genuinely felt cosy in a homely way, facilities all good and a fab location

Some slight worry as no one in reception 12-2 and we'd left our bags there (this is advertised, we're just daft haha) , but all resolved easily

Fantastic hotel on the main street running up to the beach. Very friendly owner and staff, the bar linked to the hotel was great nice to sit out in the evening and watch the world go by. Lovely room with a view up to the sea, comfy bed lots of light as we had a corner room so dual aspect with a balcony.

The room was well furnished and was very light and airy. The bathroom was adequate and we loved the toiletries. We did not try the breakfast, but the dining room looked really nice, as did the breakfast they provided. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Also the location was excellent, right in the heart of the main shopping street of Riva Bella.

Het is een leuk, typisch Frans hotel. Het is een heel oud en karakteristiek gebouw met de bijbehorende beperkingen. Personeel/eigenaar zijn wel heel vriendelijk. Het hotel staat midden in de drukste straat van Ouistreham. Wel gezellig dus maar ook wel erg lawaaierig.

De overlast die wordt veroorzaakt door de locatie.. Aan de ene kant leuk dat je midden in een drukke straat zit maar als het restaurant aan de overkant van de straat, 10 meter verder, tegen 24.00 de deuren sluit, dan is dat niet echt fijn. Helemaal niet als de reiniging om 6.00 langs komt. De ramen isoleren best goed voor geluid, maar als het warm is dan ben je wel verplicht je ramen open te houden. Iets van airco zou echt wel wenselijk zijn, dat lost een hoop op. Er is geen lift, er is ook echt geen plek voor maar gelukkig zaten wij op 1e verdieping anders ben je echt niet blij. Voel me nu een beetje schuldig want het is een hele leuke week geweesr maar wel met hindernissen.

Meget autentisk sted - rent og pænt. Vi kunne parkere i nærheden og restauranter lå lige udenfor døren.

Emplacement idéal en plein centre et à deux pas de la mer. Très clame dans les chambres et belle luminosité . Les hôtes sont très avanants et souriants. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. C'était top.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel à proximité des commerces et de la plage est très pratique. Chambre au 3ème étage lumineuse et agréable, lit très confortable.

Nous avons été dérangés par les discussions des voisins de chambre en pleine nuit, problème d'insonorisation.

Doppelzimmer in der zweiten Etage mit Badewanne war okay. Auf der Straße vor dem Hotel findet man Restaurants, die den ganzen Abend über geöffnet sind. Kurzer Weg zum Strand.

Das Hotel hat keinen Fahrstuhl. Es war mühsam mit dem schwerem Koffer die vielen Treppen hinaufzusteigen. Bis zur Fähre nach Portmouth sind es etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Bei meiner Ankunft war die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt (Check-In mit Code).

Tiene muy buena ubicación y atención del personal, tiene unas plazas de parqueadero, en general está muy bien.

L'hôtel est géré par deux jeunes personnes très sympathiques et attentionnées. Nous supposons que des rénovations sont prévues notamment un ascenseur et la réfection des salles de bains. En effet, c'est un peu vieillot et l'escalier très étroit avec des bagages.

The location is good in that you can walk straight out onto a lively pedestrian street with lots of restaurants etc.

The location is problematic in that it's difficult to find, the satnav fizzles out and parking is difficult.

Noisy. Seagulls screeching from very early morning. Hotel needs a good clean and a complete decorative overhaul. Ok as a quick overnight if desperate, but I couldnt and wouldnt recommend it.

Chambre face a un restaurant pas moyen de dormir avant minimum 1h du matin très bruyant le prix payé sur booking. 145 euros la nuit sur facturé par rapport au prix réel de la chambre

Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlagen, deshalb im Sommer Raumtemperaturen hoch sind. Die Fenster müssen abends deshalb offen sein, aber schlafen ist dann schwierig, weil der Lärmpegel in unmittelbarer Nähe bis nachts sehr hoch ist.

Pas de climatisation, pas de mouchoir en tissu. Chambre ayant besoin d'un coup de peinture pour l'embellir.

L'emplacement est idéalement situé car localisé sur la rue principale. Pas de clim', en même temps pas forcément très utile en Normandie sauf période de canicule. Les propriétaires ou gérants sont très sympathiques et l'hôtel très propre. La literie est très confortable mais la largeur du lit peut être un peu juste pour un couple de bonne corpulence.

The couple that run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. As I arrived early morning they allowed me to leave my bag with them until check-in. The breakfast available was comprehensive and met many different tastes, extra coffee always good! The location is excellent being close to the beach and also on the main shopping and restaurant road.

The shower was in a bath and as I have problems with both my legs it was difficult for me to use, however I knew this beforehand and used my trusty walking stick as a device to help me get in and out. Its not that I did not like this its just that it made things difficult for me personally. I also found the internet problematic.

Centrally located but peaceful at night, lovely old hotel with great charm. Julien was exceptionally helpful and communicative. Perfect for a first or last night French stay, with car parking spaces behind the hotel.

Friendly manager and great location. The room was spacious and very clean. Parking was also provided free of charge which was great.

We already knew that there was no air conditioning but we asked for a room fan (which was provided in previous hotels on our trip) as it was extremely hot - we were told none were available. As it was so hot we got little sleep. To provide a fan would be quite easy and hopefully something that can be offered to future guests. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this Hotel.

The bed was very comfortable, good water pressure in the bath. The room was very clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for both the ocean and access to the ferry. Loved having the French doors to open.

Hôtel dans une ancienne bâtisse mais propre, tout confort. Petit déjeuner super et les propriétaires très gentils.

Un peu de bruit à l'extérieur car nous avions laissé les fenêtres ouvertes mais normal car l'hôtel se situe en centre ville.

L’accueil chaleureux et très aimable de Julien donne une note très positive pour cet hôtel historique de Ouistreham ! Le petit déjeuner était aussi délicieux et complet Continuez ainsi, poursuivez vos efforts et les futurs clients viendront sans hésiter !

Ce n’est pas une critique négative mais si je dois trouver une petite amélioration à faire, ce serait juste la dimensions des lits (qui toujours selon moi mériteraient d’être plus grands)
