El lugar estaba muy bien ubicado. Tenias la playa a 2 cuadras Habitacion muy amplia y la cocina compartida bien equipada

El colchon era demasiado blando. Teniendo en cuenta q era la suite, me hubiera gustado q este un poco mejor

Cogimos la habitación abierta, con mosquitera y era muy bonita. La terraza con las hamacas solo para nosotros muy bonita tmb. La piscina muy bien también.

La mosquitera no cerraba bien y nos picaron mosquitos. Tuvimos un incidente en la piscina con una herida en el pie, y el chico que estaba en recepción nos dijo que no tenían botiquín. Tardo bastante en reaccionar aunque al final se decidió en ir él a comprarlo.

Todo el personal del hotel fue súper amable y atento a todo, fueron unos días muy relajantes y divertidos

La habitación era amplia y muy cómoda. Las instalaciones tenían todo lo necesario, con la cocina común donde siempre había café y agua y la piscina que, aunque no es muy grande, es un espacio encantador. La ubicación perfecta, a 2 minutos de la playa de Zicatela. Por último, el personal, en especial la mujer de recepción, fue encantador, nos ayudó y facilitó la estancia en todo momento.

Great location right by the beach and many excellent restaurants. Unlike almost everywhere else we stayed in Mexico, it was also very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The woman who worked at the front desk, in particular, was incredibly helpful with booking taxis, tours, and ATVs and answering our many questions. We really loved our room and the pool was a lifesaver in the extreme July heat. It was also never busy and usually shaded which was great. The private patio space would have been great had it not been too hot to sit out there. I have already recommended this place to friends and would 100% return!

The only thing we didn't love was that in our room the bathroom didn't have a ceiling. Very little privacy! Not a huge deal for us but good to be aware of.

The location is very quiet and close to the beach as well as plenty of restaurants and bars. I enjoyed the pool very much, it was refreshing and cool. The private villa was spacious and I appreciated the AC and comfortable beds!

I wish I had done a bit more research as the closest beach wasn't very suitable for swimming, but that's more on me than anything else. In any case, it was lovely to watch the sunsets.

Super Service! Sehr hilfsbereit, gemütlich und super sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Fantastic place near the sea and several places to eat! The staff was super helpful and friendly. Despite the check out at 11 they allowed us to use the pool.

The rooms and property were very clean, and the pool was fantastic! The staff was very kind and helpful as well. The location was perfect - just a very short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants. It was also on the quieter part of town which we enjoyed.

Located right off the beach. The room was huge, I LOVE the private outdoor kitchen space, and the pool was so incredibly relaxing. The staff were really helpful and the inside area was kept really quiet too. 100000/10 recommend.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, bedankt Lucya. Het ligt op het einde van La Punta dus rustig en niet ver van het strand (heerlijke golven, wel voorzichtig zijn) Zeer goede douche en muggennet, wij hadden de bovenste kamer met terrs, perfect. Smorgens goede koffie in de gemeenschappelijke keuken, tof. Beste eten La ola praktisch om de hoek.Zeer aan te raden dus.

La atención fue muy buena, respondían rapidamente por whatsapp a todas nuestras dudas. La estancia tiene todo lo necesario, refri, cocineta, aire acondicionado, shampoo, jabón, limpieza, venta de cervezas... Muy bien ubicado, a unos minutos de la playa!! Te dan toallas para la playa y para tu estancia, también cuentan con regaderas por si gustas quedarte más y ya hiciste check out.

Todo excelente, tal vez podrían agregar venta de snacks para cuando estás en la alberca. Pero en realidad eso sería un plus, con lo que hay está perfecto para visitar la playa y pasear,

Loved everything

Loved the property, the pool, the kitchen, and the location. Close enough to the beach to hear the surf, close to the strip for meals and entertainment- but private enough to feel hidden away. Green and lush.

No complaints

This hotel is great—it feels like a mini jungle right in the middle of the village! It’s incredibly calm, and the pool is a really nice spot to chill after a long day. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, and everything else is a maximum 10-minute walk away. The hotel's shared spaces are lovely, and check-in and check-out were both super smooth. The reception staff is incredibly helpful; you can organize scooter rentals right there and get great advice on where to eat, drink, or swim.

A few minor drawbacks to note: not having restaurant/cafe in the hotel even if you have shared area kitchen to do your thing. The room itself isn't incredibly 'design-forward' or beautiful, but it’s completely fine and functional. One major plus is that it does have AC, which was amazing! However, the curtains are white, so light comes through early in the morning—something to keep in mind if you need a pitch-black room to sleep. Finally, the bathroom lighting isn't great for applying makeup, and there was no big mirror or hair conditioner provided. Overall, a great stay!

Superfijn verblijf in een groene omgeving, met een lekker zwembad en fijne plekken om eraan te liggen. De ligging is ideaal en het personeel is vriendelijk. Daarnaast was er een goed uitgeruste gezamenlijke keuken waar je prettig gebruik van kon maken, wat het verblijf extra comfortabel maakte.

Excellent location, very close to all the restaurants and bar but still remains very quiet. 1min away from the beach. Pool is small but cosy, surrounded by all the palm trees.

We booked a more “premium” room but that also meant it had an open roof, and no AC. Ended up asking to change, the staff was really nice and accommodating about that :)

The Gallo is just an incredible value for the price. It’s relaxed, it’s beautiful, and the staff are wonderful. I stayed here twice!!

Top marks, this place is amazing! The staff are the sweetest, most helpful people and we arrived early, so they gave us our towels and a beer and told us we could chill by the pool until the room was ready. The rooms are cosy and the pool/outdoor space was honestly so beautiful, we spent a lot of time there because it was so nice. Very peaceful and quiet even though it's a minute walk from the main strip with lots of stuff to do. I am shocked at the value, they could easily charge double and I'd be happy.

This is a peaceful, lovely refuge from the chaotic, festive scene that is Puerto. The staff are wonderful, the pool is just like in the pics - to die for! Could not recommend more highly

Schönes Hotel in tropischem Garten; nur wenige Schritte vom Trubel entfernt und dennoch eine ruhige Oase. Nur wenige Schritte bis zum Strand. Toller Pool mit Liegen und Palmen als Schattenspender.

Leider waren unsere Betten sehr durchgelegen, die Matratzen sollten mal ersetzt werden. Wir haben einen Zimmersafe vermisst. Die Liegen am Pool waren praktisch dauerhaft belegt auch wenn keine Gäste sich dort aufhielten. Hier sollte das Personal vielleicht darauf achten, dass solche Reservierungen unterbleiben.

Los recepcionistas y los trabajadores en general fueron muy amables y atentos. Los recepcionistas nos ayudaron mucho a hacer reservaciones con taxis y tours, y nos orientaron en todo momento, además de hacerlo con una excelente actitud. Los felicito! Nos gustó mucho nuestra estancia en el Hotel Gallo de Mar.

La struttura è bella, sembra un’oasi naturale, ma potrebbero fare di più per il prezzo che chiedono.

Ho prenotato la suite con terrazza, ma al nostro arrivo mi hanno dato un’altra camera. Dopo averlo fatto presente alla ragazza dello staff mi ha detto che la stanza era quella, ma che dalle foto di Booking poteva sembrare più grande. Non ho insistito, ma la sera facendo il bagno in piscina ho notato che la stanza che avevo prenotato esisteva, ma era occupata da altre persone, a quel punto l’ho fatto presente ad un membro dello staff che era al desk e mi ha detto che avevo ragione, ma che c’era stato un equivoco e che potevano darmi la stanza che avevo prenotato il giorno dopo entro le 10. Da notare che se non me ne fossi accorto comunque non me l’avrebbero detto, quindi sono stati scorretti sia la mattina mentendomi che dopo omettendo l’errore. Il mattino seguente siamo tornati alle 10 da un’escursione (adattando i nostri piani a quello che ci avevano detto) e la stanza non era pronta, ce l’hanno consegnata quei alle 12. Non ci hanno offerto nessun rimborso né altri sevizi, solo bibite gratis. La gestione di questo intero problema è stata davvero pessima, lo staff è risultato menefreghista e scorretto. Inoltre l’acqua calda non è sempre presente e la suite non ha aria condizionata. Peccato perché la struttura è gradevole.

Les 150 derniers mètres en venant depuis la rue principale sont mal éclairés et conviendraient mal à une femme seule. Petit loupé de la réception (absente et sans instruction laissée) lors de notre arrivée tardive pourtant bien connue par l’hôtel qui nous a commandé le taxi à l’aéroport

The location is great, close to the beach and to many restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is very nice, with lots of plants, and some jungle-feeling. The overall atmosphere is chilled and kind.

The place is a bit run down and does need some more attention and maintenance. The kitchen area was borderline repulsive. The stove was dirty and didn't fully function. There was no decent choice of pots and pans, not even a kettle for coffee-making. It came down to a functioning fridge, which is important, but not quite enough. They provide you with potable water, which didn't taste that good.

El personal muy accesible y amable, nos dejaron usar el área común techada para un picnic ya que las lluvias no nos permitieron hacerlo en la playa. Las instalaciones muy amenas y relajantes, y el hecho de tener una cocina para guardar y preparar comida y agua disponible, fue de mucha ayuda!!! No alcanzamos a meternos a la alberca, solo estuvimos en los camastros, el área super agusto y relajante

El balcón que especifican es parte del pasillo de tránsito, no es un balcón privado, especificarlo solamente en la descripción del cuarto estaría bien.

Ofrece todo tipo de comodidades (bebida de cortesía, toallas para la playa, sombrilla…). La cocina compartida es muy completa. La piscina muy práctica. Además pudimos usarla y ducharnos después de hacer el check out. El personal muy atento. Un lugar muy tranquilo.

A pesar de tener buena ubicación para ir a la playa y disfrutar de la Punta de Zicatela, no es el más accesible en transporte público. Nada que no solucione un taxi o un pequeño paseo.

Very nice hotel and staff. The pool is great, the location excellent. Would certainly recommend, but the experience was badly influenced by the departure.

The only thing that put a damper on the experience: we asked the staff to book a taxi for the early morning and to please make sure that the taxi is big enough for the 4 of us and our luggage. A couple of hours later, we checked to make sure that the taxi was booked, but it wasn't. So we asked another person to please book the taxi and make sure that the taxi is big enough for the 4 of us and our luggage. Sure enough, the next day at 6 a.m. a taxi was there; to small. We had to order an additional one, pay double and had the stress off arriving late at the airport. When we wrote the hotel about it, they apologized but didn't take any responsibility.

Amazing location right around the corner from the beach where you can surf, tucked away enough from the busy main street. Lovely pool surrounded by lots of greenery in the shade (much appreciated as it was super hot). The staff were helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. We loved the filter coffee in the communal kitchen too. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very close to La Punta beach and all the nice places. The people were very friendly and willing to help! Also nice that we could shower before going into the nightbus.

The bed was quite old and very short - but we are quite tall ;)

Great location to surf beaches and easy to walk to local cafes and restaurants. Loved that the hotel is smaller so there was plenty of room around the pool to relax. Staff were awesome and very helpful in booking us a taxi for mazunte.

Bugs- reminder we are in coastal Mexico so this is likely normal. We also didn’t have any hot water the whole time. We were prepared for this by reading previous reviews but if that’s a must have then maybe don’t book here.

The staff is really friendly and willing to help. The facilities are small but comfortable enough. Clean place and quiet enough to be in the very tip of La Punta.

The bathroom inside the room was a little smelly. Other than that, everything was great.

A few miscommunications about an extra day and whether we had to move rooms or not, but no issue at all really

Staff were SUPER helpful with giving us details on what to do and where to go. They coordinated a turtle release excursion and airport taxi. Additionally we had trouble with the AC and the addressed it immediately. Simply wonderful stay!
