short walk to galway centre
The host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of what to do in the area. The location was less than 10 mins from Eyre Square and the train station and the room was very comfortable.
Lovely guesthouse. Trish & Adrian were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and the place is in a great location very close to town.
Very friendly host.
Parking on a first come, first serve basis. We had to find parking elsewhere. Directly on the main road, noisy in the morning and in late afternoon.
Trish was of great help, recommendation wise and good yarns too. Lynfield has a great location to Galway/train station, everything is in walking distance. We were located in a room with access via the side of the building which was great for privacy.
Property was easy to find and very well kept—the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our stay was comfortable. And great recommendations for things around town :)
Very nice and helpful owners
Great location, beds very comfortable and everything spotless
All good. Nice room and everything worked. Very pleasant guest house, with offroad parking. Walkable to centre
Nothing to mention
Landlady was v good
Great stay

Best location, Clean room, Quiet neighbourhood 👌
The owner was lovely and gave us really great information and a map
Room was a bit run down we only stayed one night as we were moving on - there is no lift which we knew that but getting big suitcases up stairs was hard on us being old
Brilliant location and very welcoming host
Location, bed, good curtains
Nothing
room excellent, but would probably have preferred back of house, rather than the front. location was excellent a 5 min walk to town centre, breakfast not applicable. NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER,
Great location. Quiet, but only a short walk from the centre of the city. Really handy to have the free parking there too. Very accommodating hosts.
Nice place pretty close to town. The host was super nice and helpful
Really friendly welcome with tips on places to visit. Clean with heat facilities
Good location for downtown, private bathroom. Nice host, pleasant stay.
We loved Trish, she was an absolute sweetheart. Quaint place, amazing location just a walk from town.
Fire alarm went off two mornings in a row. First was around 3-4am and the next morning was around 8am. Trish was extremely pragmatic and helpful, but still just a bothersome fact of our stay.
Comfortable e clean
Everything was good.
Parking on -site; but first in best dressed.
A bit further from centre than envisaged, but still walkable and public transport a available.
No breakfast it was advertised as b and b no breakfast had to park in some houseing estate and was told my car would be OK.. not even parking outside on the road..
The location was great, about a 10 minute walk from the city centre and in an area that felt very safe. The host was very friendly and gave great tips about things to do in town. Our room was very spacious.
The bathroom was very small. Although this is billed as a "B&B', there is no breakfast provided, so bear that in mind.
Great location, and we appreciated having use of a shared fridge (though access to it was limited: couldn't get to it after 9 pm).
Overall, it was ok, certainly nothing outstanding, and therefore somewhat pricey. Also, it turned out to be even more expensive: the owner told us, when we first checked in, that it'd be perfectly fine to park out on the street, in front of the building. She stressed that the local authorities always turn a blind eye about parking on their street. So it came as an unwelcome surprise to see that we'd been ticketed for parking there. Ok, in fairness the parking ticket was "only" €40, but of course if we had known that it was even possible to get a ticket right out front, we would have done anything to ensure we got one of their parking spaces... or simply parked elsewhere. The "B&B" in its name is a misnomer and/or misleading, as they actually don't provide any breakfast. We weren't surprised by this, since the description in the Booking app doesn't indicate that breakfast is included. Still, a name is a name, and "Lynnfield B&B" isn't exactly what it is.

The host was amazing, she had such a warm personality, was accommodating and found a solution to any of our concerns or questions, the location was great and the neighborhood really good
The furniture was not much and on the older side, but nevertheless comfortable and clean!
What a friendly person Adrian is. He made us feel at home immediately. The location was better than expected. Such a short walk into Galway. Would recommend Lynfield to anyone.
Everything was perfect.

Location was good. Close to Galway City
No Breakfast, had to go to City. Room and ensuite poor, very small. Bed uncomfortable. Room was converted sitting room with linoleum floor. Shower very small, shower door very small.
It cost me €144 for one night and no breakfast included ,will not stay there again unfortunately as poor value for what I stupidly paid up front with no option to change my mind and cancel from my booking time 3 weeks ago ....Ian.
No breakfast .....€144 for a bed only rip off stuff
Great location, very friendly host.
The room was fine, just the price is too high for what you get.
Very central location, good communication with property, perfect for a short stopover when travelling to Galway.
Phenomenal location a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Trish the owner was super helpful. Free parking.
It was quite expensive for what you got but location was amazing.
Nothing really ! Poor standards room ie 2 trouser hangers only . One pillow only for each person !
Higher standard of room!
They were very I arrived a day late due to the airport technical crash and I got there a little after check in time but they let me in and had great since of humor about all my mishaps getting there.
staff where lovely, had a great time the bed was comfy we had a great time
The location is excellent. Great to have a place to park your car
The ensuite bathroom was tiny, The radiator was very rusty. The showerhead was floppy, unable to angle it . The showerhead itself was stained green and one of the towels had an old stain on it.
room and location great will stop there again
nothing
Location! And Trish was very helpful! She showed us a map of the area, gave us some background knowledge, and made sure we had fresh towels each day
Facilities were a little tight for the two of us, but that’s ok! It had everything we needed
The location was excellent
There were 2 of us ladies and only one bed, disappointed with this as we wouldn't be happy with this, would have preferred the choice of a twin room
Room and lockers cleaner
I had the most comfortable bedroom and Very nice landlady.
Near to town centre, 10 min walk. Parking space. Lovely lady running it, friendly and very helpful
Location was perfect. Room was very comfy. What really bothered me was the fact that it’s advertised as B/B but I got a message to say it was only a room, after I had payed ,told I could have breakfast 10 minutes away if I liked!! B/B is still on sign outside and on booking.com
Room was fine.
Positioned in front of driveway at from on ground floor so may not suit everyone for privacy reasons. You can pull the curtain. But otherwise all good.
Clean, tidy and local to town
Advertised as B& B, but no brekkie offered. We do d know this when we booked but we needed a place to sleep for a wedding. MaybeB&B is Bed & Blanket?
Location was short walk to city centre . Parking available Staff helpful
The rooms we were given were not the ones shown on website and not fit to rent out. They were not in main house even though at time of check in there were still vacancies They were down side of house They were not clean , cups chipped ,kettle dusty . Under beds unclean Very disappointed, our first night in Ireland over priced for these rooms Had I know these were the rooms available I would have booked elsewhere
nice guest house with really nice owner.
The room was big, clean and comfortable, it had a bathroom of its own, and Trish and Adrian were super kind and available. The location is a reasonable walking distance from Galway city centre and main attractions.
Easy walk into city and nearby places to eat. Host Trish was fantastic.
Great location. Hosts were super helpful. We stayed 2 nights and walked in and out of town centre. Easy peasy!!
Our bedroom was right by the busy road
