Luvi’s Villa

We had another wonderful stay at Luvi’s Villa. The villa is clean, modern and beautifully maintained, with a lovely little tropical garden. The location is also great, close to the beach, shops and the city. The owner is incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything we need. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend Luvi’s Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

The apartment was spacious and clean. We had an exceptional stay and the staff was also incredible.

La habitación era muy espaciosa, estaba prácticamente nueva y, sobre todo, súper limpia. Además, tenía vistas directas a la piscina, que estaba muy bien cuidada y en nuestro caso pudimos disfrutarla solos, todo un lujo! El personal fue muy amable y nos dio todas las facilidades que necesitamos durante nuestra estancia. La ubicación también nos pareció perfecta, está a unos 5-10 minutos de Galle en moto, por lo que puedes llegar fácilmente a la ciudad pero disfrutar de un lugar mucho más tranquilo. Sin duda, volveríamos a alojarnos aquí. Un sitio muy recomendable si visitas Galle y buscas tranquilidad, limpieza, una habitación bonita y un personal encantador

Very well maintained, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The use of a pool was very welcomed.

There is not many restaurant options nearby and you do need to tuk tuk to and from Galle fort but it is not expensive to do so

Everything was great! Perfect place to stay with clean pool. The only small issue was not having AC in the living room instead we had to turn the room AC on max and leave the door open to cool down the living room as well.

Nice place, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Location is fine, short tuk tuk from Galle city centre. Only stayed one night so didn’t get to use the pool but it looked very nice and refreshing. Great safety as well being behind a locked gate.

There was nothing that I did not like. Everything went smoothly from the booking process to the stay, and the villa met my expectations very well. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the place more.

This is an excellent value for money place just 1km outside from Galle city. You can reach all the main attractions and activities Galle has to offer from here, while staying in a calm, non-busy atmosphere. Hosts are very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place while touring in Galle. Even with a family, this place is comfortable and spacious enough.

There is nothing to dislike. You won't be able to find a better place like this at this price point.

De villa ligt op een fijne rustige plek op ca. 5-10 rijden met de tuk tuk van het fort. De kamer was zeer ruim en schoon. De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en liet mij duidelijk zien waar alles was. Zwembad, opttionele wasmachine die je mag gebruiken.

Cleanliness, the swimming pool. Room Comforts. Clean bathroom. Walking distance or better a pick me tuk tuk there's good Arpico super market next to it Kandoori Indian restaurant is a top point.

Everything was good with the lodging. The road is quite narrow, specially after 8 pm walking to the nearby restaurants were difficult.

Wir haben zwei Aufenthalte dort gebucht und würden gerne jederzeit wieder kommen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön, sauber, einwandfrei ausgestattet und es gibt sogar einen Pool und eine Waschmaschine. Die Lage ist ebenfalls toll mit einem sehr großen Supermarkt und ausgezeichneten Restaurant in der Nähe sowie der Nähe zum Galle Harbour und Galle Fort.

While the entire apartment was supposed to be air-conditioned, only the bedroom had it. It was extremely hot in Galle, and my child and wife both severely suffered from the weather.

There was little contact with the owners which was quite unfortunate and if we needed them we had to search for them. The pool is not private for yourself but shared with other guest. Overall not really what we expected.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time here. The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped, even including a washing machine, which was very convenient. The location was also excellent, with a large supermarket and a great restaurant nearby and the fort was not far away either. Also, the host was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Communication was always fast and easy. We're looking forward to staying here again.

Die Unterkunft hat einen sehr hohen Standard! Sie ist super sauber, das Bett ist sehr bequem, der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sie liegt in einem ruhigeren Wohnviertel und trotzdem ist man mit dem Tuktuk in wenigen Minuten in Galle Fort. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir haben auch den Flughafen Shuttle von ihnen in Anspruch genommen und es hat alles super geklappt. Wir können Luvi‘s Villa nur weiterempfehlen 🙂

Had an amazing stay at Luvi’s Villa! The apartment was spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the pool. What really made the experience, though, was the incredible hospitality. The owners are so warm and incredibly helpful—they truly go above and beyond for their guests. A perfect gem in Galle!

Superbe établissement! Cela fait du bien d’avoir quelque chose d’aussi propre! L’appartement était incroyable avec tout ce dont j’avais besoin et la piscine un réel plus! Le personnel est super gentil et à notre disposition à tout moment! Ils m’ont trouvé un masseur qui est venu sur place et étaient disponibles dès que j’avais une question! A 9 min en Tuktuk du centre touristique donc parfait :)

De hotelkamer was super netjes en schoon! De locatie was prima en ongeveer 10 minuutjes met de TukTuk naar het centrum van Gallé. Het zwembad bij de accommodatie was fijn en het personeel super vriendelijk!

Große Räume, alles neu und super gereinigt!! Perfektes Bad mit viel Druck auf den Wasserleitungen. Ich habe in der Zeit nicht gekocht , hier ist aber alles vorhanden um zu Kochen. Die Klimaanlage ist einfach zu benutzen und ein Ventilator hilft auch. Der Swimmingpool ist tadellos. Kurz um alles ist prima 👌

Die Nähe zum Swimmingpool ist zwischendurch lautstark durch weitere Gäste die Kinder dort Spaß haben, oder Erwachsene die sich laut unterhalten. Abends ist jedoch alles ruhig und man schläft hier sehr gut

Cleanliness and location

This is a very spacious, clean apartment. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with shops and a good supermarket close by. We walked to the beach and the fort, but you could also easily pick up a tuk tuk. What makes this apartment so special is the host. They could not have been more helpful. They sorted us out with a lift from the railway station, and they got us a good deal on a whale watching tour and our transfer to Ella. Just fabulous. Great value for money.

This is our second stay at Luvi’s Villa. Due to my great previous experience, I booked without looking for other options in Galle. It's a great and convenient place. Everything is just within walking distance, and the staff is fantastic. The check-in process is smooth, and the place is clean and comfortable. The location was slightly out of the way from things to do. But they allow you to rent a bike which is very cheap and allows you to travel around very conveniently.

This property was easy to find. We were greeted by the hosts, they were so welcoming and luckily we had booked for 1 week here . The home is newly built and was incredibly spacious. We loved the large picture windows that looked over the lush green beautiful gardens. We found it so easy to get around. 4 minutes by tuk tuk to the famous Galle Fort. 4 minute walk to the supermarket at the end of the street with also a lovely high class restaurant. Right next door to the property is a small convenience store that supplies all your basics eg. Water, soft drinks, toiletries, snacks and more. The host asked us whether we were interested in a massage in-house....quickly we said YES and Ishankla (his friend) was the best sports remedial massage I have ever had, we are from Australia. Also the hosts organised a tuk tuk hire for 2 days and we got to see so much more of the area. We were flying out to Singapore to return to OZ and the host organised a driver to deliver us to the air port at a really affordable price. Exceptional Service.... you won't be disappointed staying here.

This is a fantastic place in Galle. It is so convenient to the Dutch fort and Unawatuna Beach. Host is really friendly, smooth check-in and check-out process. Highly recommend to those who consider staying in Galle!

Luvi's villa is one of the best places we stayed during our stay in Sri Lanka. It is very clean, modern and staff is also very helpful. We feel like it is more comfortable than it looks in the pictures. It had all facilities for a family to stay like own home in Galle. We highly recommed it for a long stay.

Hello, We were there for 2 months. The owner and his wife and his brother were very helpful. The apartment is clean, modern and quiet. Everything was just like the pictures. For us locally it was in a perfect location as it was close to the big shopping places as well as Devata beach is a few minutes by motorbike or Galle centre also. We also liked the kindergarten which was also just around the corner. The plot has 2 apartments and both are completely separated from each other. I recommend it for people passing through or for those who like city life in the tropics.

A small group visited Galle and stayed here for a night. The place was well kept, tidy, beautiful and cosy. It rained during our stay, yet it was a pleasant stay given all the facilities at the hotel. They had a television with plenty of channels, refrigerator, water heater, stove, basic cutlery and utensils, and tea/ coffee sachets. The host was very kind and welcoming. Loved the stay, and will definitely choose this again.

The location of the villa is around 2 km from the Galle fort, and travelling to and fro can be cumbersome.

The space is beautifully made, has everything a couple with a kid requires. The kitchenette is great, works fine for cooking basic foods. Having washing machine was helpful since we had a toddler with us. Very helpful staff, Chaturanga was just a call away for any help required

I wish my condo back home looked like this :-D Brand new, modern, stylish. You'll get not only spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom, but living room and kitchen too! Everything works perfectly (wifi, A/C, hot water...). Owners are lovely people, lady of the house made a very nice breakfast, they even arranged a taxi to Ella for me. Great new built apartment, clean with all you need. 30 mins walk along the coast to Galle Fort and hosts couldn’t have been more helpful.

It is a bit of a walk from Galle fort but it is pretty central between the fort and the nearest swimming beach which was good. It is about a 25 minute walk for dinner.

I have already booked my next stay here so that says everything. Great space, great people. It’s felt.

The property is very clean and has all the facilities in place… the owners run a shop just beside the property where all basic items are available … we even cooked there and that too was not at all a hassle… the owners are very cooperative… the property is very secured as well… a very affordable and comfortable stay in galle

It's not that I didn't like it, just something to be aware of, the main room with kitchen has no air conditioning, it has a fan.

Exceptional stay in Galle Town! Provided a surprisingly serene atmosphere in the heart of the bustling urban setting. The comfortable accommodations, friendly owner, and proximity to all the tourist attractions I wanted to visit made it a lovely, calm, and quiet retreat in the midst of the vibrant city.
